What's your favorite part of Nara and Estinien's relationship? What's the hardest part to write for them?

god, there are so many things that i love about them, i'm not sure how to pick just one. they're my first endgame ship, and my first ship with a happily ever after, and there hasn't been a single thing i've put them through that they haven't been able to climb back out of. and... i don't think there is anything i could put them through that they wouldn't recover from (eventually), which gives me a lot of freedom to work with.

i feel like i tend to gravitate towards ships that start out more cosmic and fate-driven (if that makes sense) and the fact that they're so grounded while still being able to cater to my love for star-crossed lovers, soulmates, broken people finding their missing pieces, etc just... i don't know, makes me fall in love with them all over again every time i write. i'm immediately reminded of a quote from shark heart by emily habeck:

"Feelings fled under pressure; feelings did not light the darkness. What remained strong in the deep, the hard times, was love as an effort, a doing, a conscious act of will. Soulmates [...] were not theoretical and found. They were tangible, built."

this is also my first time writing a friends-to-lovers ship (i've always been an enemies-to-lovers person) and GOD why did no one tell me about all the mutual pining i could have been writing all these years??

the hardest part to write for them is probably anything fluffy, but that's mostly because i'm so angst-oriented and conflict-driven that fluff is just difficult for me to write in general. also, while nara wears her heart on her sleeve, estinien is more show-don't-tell with his feelings, so it's a challenge coming up with situations that don't involve angst or a misunderstanding for those feelings to get communicated.

and lastlyyyyy jk just loves oc sm. like when he calls her angel? i just swoon. and like just reading how he talks to her in my head he just sounds so gentle u know????? and how he planned all these surprises for her during their stay in his hometown. idk what else to say but he really loves her yall 😭 like she is it for him 😭 i feel like he would propose early in their relationship not too early but like the whole moving in thing but an engagement this time and u know what it’s very fitting for the both of them bc they love eo!!!!!!!!!!

And yes! My novella! Only the love interest is a vampire, but the MC, Ainsley, is a lecturer in supernatural studies at a university and they specialise in vampire studies. It's implied that they will be turned by Lysander (the vampire) at some point soon.

It's set in modern times where the supernatural is openly known to exist but the communities can still be small, especially vampires. There are also vampiric animals in the universe, and Lysander's mother owns a vampire cat. Feel free to ask more specific questions!

My other novel is much longer and a bigger project but I'm very excited about it. It's got a good mystery and it's the classic playboy x cold + traumatised person. But I've made the playboy as the MC and the cold person the male lead, so I've flipped the normal formula. Everyone is traumatised in that relationship, but they help each other grow and heal :D

A fan yelled gaining Jeonghan's attention.

Jeonghan came down from stage from the concert after it ended, he was in the parking lot when the same fan arrived with some of her friends.

"Oppa." She called him yet again.

"How many times do I have to tell you don't call me oppa?" He asked angrily.

Fan falls on the ground and her friends rush towards her.

"Because only people close to me calls me that." He said turning to leave.

Fan runs towards him and hugs him.

"Oppa I love you so much please don't be rude." She said hugging him.

"Yah don't call me oppa and leave me." He said trying to break free.

"But why oppa I want you to be my boyfriend." She said looking at him with tears.

"I can't love you because I love someone else." He said as he pushed the fan but she only hugged him tighter.

"What's happening here?" A voice came from behind.

Jeonghan looked back to see his girlfriend Nara staring at him with hurt evident in her eyes.

"Nara it's not what it looks like." He said as he pushed the fan and ran towards her.

"You're cheating on me with a fan?" she asked as she push him and gets inside her car, starting her car engine and drive away.

"Look what you did." He yells at the fan, running towards his own car.

"Mianhae Oppa." Fan says as she falls on the ground crying hard.

Jeonghan just shook his head and gets in his car following Nara.

"I love you Nara please let me explain." He mumbles.

He gets off his car as he spots Nara's car near the cliff.

"Nara-ah." He exclaims as he finally finds her.

"I'm sorry oppa but I couldn't handle the pain." she says as she jumps off the cliff.

All of you hungout in the practice room and then the other members start practicing as you and Jeonghan watched.

Someone comes behind him and hug him.

You tried to get him but he pushes you away and before you could land on the ground Joshua catch you.

"Y/N don't leave me." He said as you take out your wedding ring and throw it on the floor.

Joshua take your hand and starts leaving.

"Don't leave me." Jeonghan yelled and turn arround to find no one there.

Where is Nara? He thought to himself.

"Yah Jeonghan." He heard Joshua yell.

He turned around to see Joshua having a gun in his hand.

"I'm mad that you hurt y/n, you should die then I can get married to y/n." Joshua smirks as he shoots Jeonghan and Jeonghan falls down on the ground.

"Yah Oppa what did you do? I loved him." you exclaimed.

"I love you, I'll keep you happy, he cheated you he deserves it, let's get married." Joshua says and you blush.

Joshua goes towards Jeonghan and take out his wedding ring and also your ring and walk back to you.

He takes your hand and slips the ring and you do the same.

In the end Joshua and you got married and Nara got married to Seungkwan, poor Jeonghan got no one.
