Jeff would secretly like your innocent personality. He appreciates your benevolent aura, especially because the residents of Creepypasta Mansion aren't known for being kind.

BEN wouldn't really care either way. It's cool that you're nice, but he wouldn't really mind if you weren't. He would, however, like the nerdy side of your personality, especially if it means you'll play video games with him.

Hoodie, like Masky, believes you kindness will only result in you getting hurt, but soon realizes that is far from the truth. Your innocence refreshes him, as well as the knowlege that you can protect yourself when needed.

Laughing Jack (the striped jerk XD) teases you for being so innocent. He likes your nerdy side and finds enjoyment in embarrassing you. Secretly, though, he loves how genuine you are, which is quite rare in his line of work.

I do want to add a part to the story where Risotto is forced to feed from Darling because of... circumstances. I have to get that drama in there somewhere right. But no worries! Pesci definitely is new to Darlings climbing, but it's never unwelcomed. Having such a small human climbing up on him for kisses makes him feel strong and proud, and it's a major ego boost. After a while he gets better with it and even smothers you in kisses too! Sometimes he gets a little carried away, and bends over you while he's kissing. Luckily you can help him back up in time

It's fine if you don't get the 5* from the tour! Your cards will gradually grow and become stronger so there's future chances! This was also just the first tour out of 5 this year so there's plenty of chances!!

AHH LEO AND IZUMI I SENSE A KNIGHTSP IN THE MAKING !!! I myself am a ritsu and arashi producer along with mao! Knights is such a gorgeous unit and im so happy you like their newest song!! Arashi was the center for that (which i grinded the whole day for because i wanted to snag her the first day uwu)

But I'm so glad you managed to get Izumis second feature scout on your first 10 roll! Don't worry enstars have a tendency to really sike you out with it's gacha so don't be surprised if a 5* suddenly rolls by on blue lights OuO)/

And don't worry if you can't do expert stages yet! Rhythm games are mostly muscle memory and coordination which takes practice! If you want to however both full combo it and perfect combo it there are also cards that fully support those chances! Perfect comboes will give you more dias and some cards that has the ability to turn great/good notes to perfect is for example these two:

Feature scouts tend to be very powerful by themselves! Tour cards also have a very high rating that is usually everywhere between 91K-94k when fully filled even at one card!

But i see that you're already starting with the sparkle dash missions for Subaru! He's generally a very good card to have in the beginning since he's the first 5* that you can max out! The road gives you the necessity to get his percentage all the way up to 200%!

Hi, I already hate show Penelope so much, I stop reading when I got to her book...I was thinking about skipping and going to Eloise, because fandom kind gives the impression is a good one, but don't worry about spoilers, why do you hate book Philip? I just not in the mood to read and be mad about it, show him for as little as we know seems ok, but if is something I know I will hate I will skip too...If that is not too much to ask

Okay so here it goes.

Book!Penelope isn't bad. She's not fan-favourite material as far as I'm concerned but she's not unlikeable as a character. Colin on the other hand I found kinda annoying and their romance was just pretty meh. On the plus side there are some fun ton moments that feature Lady Danbury (plus Hyacinth and Felicity if I'm not mistaken).

Eloise's book was the biggest disappointment for me. Philip is easily the one male character in the series I simply can't stand. Like in the show, he's married to Marina but unlike the show she is a Bridgerton cousin (the entire Penelope/Marina/Colin storyline doesn't exist in the books). By the time the story begins Philip is a widower and the only glimpse of Marina we get comes from his POV, so everything you see in the adaptation isn't there.

In TSPWL Marina is described as a woman who was severely depressed while she was alive (to the point of barely being able to leave the bed or her room) which only got worse with the birth of the twins. I don't remember if she killed herself or there was another cause for her death but there was a suicide attempt that was prevented by Philip. The biggest red flag re Philip's character is the way he thinks of Marina. He basically frames himself as a victim whose life was ruined because of his wife's depression and harbours SO much resentment and anger towards her which just makes him detestable. He's constantly comparing Eloise’s energetic, bubbly personality to Marina's melancholic nature, including when it comes to sex, which is so uncomfortable and creepy because Marina was very obviously NOT a willing participant in sexual intercourse in their marriage. And I find it extremely hypocritical that Bridgerton fans will call out TDAI for Daphne's rape of Simon but it's crickets when it comes to Philip's rape of Marina. There's basically this part where he talks of going to her after the birth of the twins and having sex with her and though she “consented” (as if she had much choice being a wife in the 19th century) she was very visibly not into it to the point of her apathetic stance reminding him of a corpse or something. It gets even creepier and rapey when he gets angry at her apathy and feels the wish to be rough with her and hurt her to see if he'll get a reaction out of her. It's extremely uncomfortable to read and he STILL maintains this attitude of feeling sorry for himself by remembering how he felt disgusted with himself afterwards and never again came to his wife's bed. The whole self-pity reaches its peak in his love declaration to Eloise where he talks about how he went through hell in his marriage to Marina and how their relationship as husband and wife doesn't compare and she won't ever know what it feels like to experience a truly bad marriage or something. He's also a shit father who neglects his children to the point of not knowing they're being physically abused by their governess. And that too is described in a way that frames Philip as the victim because he supposedly keeps a distance from (:barely acknowledges the existence of) his kids because his father was abusive to him and he's afraid of turning out to be like him uwu.

Eloise was just a huge disappointment as a character. I mean the show obviously tried to frame her as a ~feminist~ and there are also these small hints of her rebellious spirit in the rest of the books....and then her “love” story comes along and you're met with an Eloise who has a major freakout when she learns of Colin and Penelope's engagement because she'll be the only one to be a spinster and she runs off to the house of a stranger she'd been exchanging letters with with no chaperone. Because getting herself compromised and saddled with a stranger is a better prospect than being a spinster. By the end of the book she's playing house for an asshole who views her as a sex doll and nanny to his kids. Another thing that I hated in TSPWL is what I view as the lowest of Violet's moments when she talks to Eloise before her wedding (or is it a letter?) and basically gives her a sermon to bite her tongue and bow her head and be a good girl in order to keep her husband and have a good marriage.

On the plus side there are some great and extremely entertaining family moments with the Bridgertons when all the brothers storm Philip's house demanding explanations. There's also some domestic Benophie moments and the Crane twins torturing Eloise and being little menaces is fun too.

If you're reading the books in order and you want to read something you won't get mad about I definitely recommend books 6-8. Book 6 is Francesca, who probably didn't leave much of an impression in the show because she's absent almost for the entirety of s01 and honestly just brace yourself to fall in love!!! Franchael is my second favourite couple in the series after Kathony, Michael is the best male interest in the Bridgerton series and you'll adore Frannie and feel cheated that the show keeps ignoring her existence. Then comes Hyacinth who is everything I was hoping to find in Eloise and more, you'll ADORE her trust me. She's my favourite Bridgerton. Add to that Lady Danbury (who has a soft spot for Hyacinth and their relationship is adorable), Hyacinth/Violet moments and LADY D’S GRANDSON as the love interest!! And Gregory's book is pretty cute and much fun too, and it has some great Kathony content that you'll love.

A/N - @kookiequeeen asked for a second part of fuck a keyboard, you're my type, so here we are! let's get it :) this is really just- all fluff. i'm in a fluffy mood ok, it's bc of bangchan's liveshow he did today, i promsie uwu

a light pressure on your cheek releases itself, leaving a tiny damp circle, only to get pressed back just a few seconds later. you squirm under the touch just a little bit, causing the shower of kisses to stop for a while. "come on baby.., wake up.." you hear a groany morning voice say. "i know you're listening, hm..?"

memories of last night flood your mind, almost reliving them as you can feel his soft kisses on your neck. chests heaving in sync, gentle pants blowing in your ear, miniscule beads of sweat covering your hot skin; all in the backseat of his suv.

then, moving on to a second round after hurriedly trying to get the door unlocked. "baby..~" you hear, the voice interrupting your train of thought.

you hold back a smile as the kisses go lower and lower, reaching your stomach. goosebumps rise on your arms and legs, signaling shivers down your spine. "there we go, love.. goodmorning..~" jackson smiles, pushing a stray lock of hair behind your ear. "morning.." you mumble, as you stretch out. he gives you some room before climbing on top of you after you relax again.

"did you sleep well..?" he asks, as you squirm under his touch again. you groan softly as you open your eyes, jackson's glistening figure greeting you. "you're beautiful.." you mumble after nodding at his question.

"i know."

"so egotistical.." you chuckle, pushing your hands up his shoulders.

jackson responds with a kind laugh, collapsing on your chest. snuggling intk your body, he sighs contently. "i made us a bath.." he says, fingers intertwining with yours with such a gentle touch, you barely even feel it.

"oh..?~" you hum, his head perking up from your shoulder. "are you trying to bribe me or something..? what's with all the sweet stuff..?" you ask.

"nothing- really.. i just want to treat you like a queen, since i figured your ex didn't do that.." jackson answers.

"have you ever woken up this way..?" he asks sweetly, pecking more butterfly kisses over your shoulders and chest. you shake your head and hum a no, making him smile confidently. "ever been carried into the bathtub?" he asks.

again, you shake your head.

jackson's arms snake under your knees and back, lifting you up effortlessly. as he brings you to the tub, a flowery vanilla scent greets you, followed by the sight of a modern-looking bathroom. some candles are lit on the rim of the tub, sink and floor, making you roll your eyes at the cheesyness.

"such a stereotypical movie bath.." you groan, placing your feet on the cold bathroom tiles. "it gets better.." jackson quietly whispers, whipping out a soft, and big t-shirt he wore during the got7 world tour. "tada..~ you'll get to wear this after we're done."

"where'd you learn to be such a stereotypically romanfic boyfriend?" you ask, chuckling a little as you get comfortable in the bathtub. "i know all girls like this stuff.." he responds. tilting your head, you raise an eyebrow. "but like-.. who told you?"

"the girls on instagram who say "i'm baby" religiously and use the sulky emoji.." jackson giggles quietly, hiding his face in his hands.

securing the warm towel around his waist, he hands you yours, helping you carefully dry you off. leaning in for a backhug, a soft whisper approaches your ear. "so.., i've planned a bit of a date for today.."

"tell me all about it" you mumble, placing your hands on his that were sweetly clasped around your waist. "where are you taking me?"

as the side of his face rested on the nape of your neck, he listed the places he'd take you. "a cute café for some breakfast.. then we can go shopping if you want to..? i know a few good places around here, i looove shopping"

"hi" jack blatantly speaks, holding up his hand with a smile plastered on his face when your best friend opens your apartment door. "thank you" she smiles arrogantly, taking your wrist and pulling you inside. "what were you thinking..?" she quietly asks, shutting the door as you put down the gucci and fendi bags that were filled to the rim with new clothes and accessories.

a dull sound silences your bickering.

you look down to see jackson's dressing shoe crammed in between the doorpost and the door itself.

"can i get one sec alone with your friend..?" jackson asks, kindly raising his eyebrows, placing a kiss on your forehead when you hesitantly nod. you grab the paper bags and head around the corner, silently listening in to their slightly heated conversation.

your friend's angry rant gets interrupted by jackson saying "listen" every now and then. once her voice quiets down, jack takes his chance to explain himself.

"no-" he starts, casually and calmly leaning against the doorpost. "to me, she's not just a heartbroken girl i took advantage of. if she was, i wouldn't have driven her home after a nice morning and a fun day, i would've kicked her out of my house first thing in the morning, afraid the paparazzi would see me with such a living piece of trash."

his harsh yet lovely words silenced your friend, somehow lighting your heart on fire. "just let me fall in love with her, i swear i'll treat her like she deserves to be treated." he kept speaking, in which your friend dropped her head and sighed.

"listen up, wang," she started, looking back up at him. "i don't know you, or your story, but i know y/n's. i assume she hasn't told you what kind of person her ex was, but i can tell you he was a dick. a major fucking asshole.. it's just-..."

"i just don't want her to get hurt again."

a loving smile appeared on your face, a slight blush spreading across your cheeks. "i promise i won't hurt her. and if you do, you can shoot me through the head, electrocute me, break all my bones, i don't care-.. i just want us both to be happy.. together"

jackson's words make you fall in love with him even deeper, and for a brief second you just wish you could relive today, before the front door shuts and your phone starts ringing.

man, this character... is one of the most lovable otome bois i have encountered in a long time,,, because he’s such a loser.

i wouldn’t even call this a character analysis anymore i just spilled all my feels and love for this stupid wholesome boy. thank you to my two biggest sandman supporters, this is all yuu’s fault. @sea-reiusly @snow--blanket

LET’S START. so,,, aside from the fact that he’s cute-dumb; you should love him because he loves you a lot and he deserves love too.

he is the literal embodiment of boyish selfless love.

if iI had to describe him I would describe him as a big red blanket you can wrap around yourself and make you feel safe and warm. or a big spoon of honey; slightly bitter but also sweet.

1) he is mega Friend for Life

first things first; he would be, and is, a good friend - if not to you then to the people he cares about. his whole concept is ‘boy next door’. he is soft, he won’t disappoint you because he cares about you as a person and he worries sometimes even if he doesn’t show it. for example in Shingen’s route he plays messenger for you - he thinks you’re ‘cool’, you’re his pal. he seems like the type who could develop feelings for you but is content just being close to you as your friend and see you happy. despite being told that he’s ‘tactless’, Yukimura actually, not surprisingly, has the ability to read other people, but just sucks at expressing it to you. so occasionally, he ends up proper advice to other suitors if you’re not on his route:

like the time Kenshin was excited to bring you home with him to Kasugayama and you were torn about leaving the home you’ve come to love and your warlord family. to Yukimura, family and friends are important, that is what one of his 'wants' are, after all. he does it for shingen, he does it for his men and the men in the Takeda army.

in a way he’s a bit like your brother too. except Hideyoshi is the clearly caring, wise older brother and Yukimura is your bratty younger brother who would throw a banana at your face, and pretends he doesn’t give a shit about you but that one time he sees you carrying heavy stuff down the hall he takes it from you and calls you ‘weak’ but he just doesn’t want to see you hurt.

if he's not established to be quite as close to you in other routes (Ieyasu/Masamune), he continues to help you on behalf of sasuke. even though you’re a complete stranger to him and he barely knows anything about you background - especially considering sasuke gave him a coverup story and not what or who you actually are. it's moments like these where he is willing and able to separate 'his job' and 'enemy' and do things that would otherwise produce results the opposite of what he’s supposed to be doing (which is actually a point of conflict in his OWN route, which will I will talk about later uwu)

2) ultimate Fam man

Yukimura is inherently a selfless character. he doesn’t care about himself, he only cares about the people around him and what he can do for them. he overworks himself and shoulders all the stress by himself, to take weight off shingen (it's always 'leave it to me, lord shingen!!' from him). 

I believe he has a mild form of ptsd as well; he mentally and emotionally cuts himself away from feeling anything in battle to perform his best, he has trouble sleeping at night, and he ends up holding things he’s sleeping with very tightly (eg. you). we also learn from Shingen that:

he was raised to be strong and upstanding, but has problems with adapting, so he puts all he has into what he does, meaning he gets hurt more (EN)

when he has his heart set on things, his conviction lasts for a long, long time (CN)

so, he likes it a lot when he gets to surround himself with people he cares about. he comes off as an ambivert leaning on extrovert, based off how he seems to like hanging out with his men not just as their field commander but as their friend, he enjoys parties and even entertains Kenshin. it’s been noted that he is visibly more relaxed and laughs often around his soldiers - so it’s safe to assume he gets energy by being around the people he cares about, because at least he knows that they’re alive.

in fact, the idea of people around him dying makes him angry. he’s willing to put aside his hatred of Nobunaga to ensure that no unnecessary lives are lost, even if he’s sacrificing himself in the process. they all share the simple dream of one day being able to return to their homeland, and Yukimura expects almost all of them to be able to fulfill that dream together.

so when Shingen insinuates that he won’t be able to be there for that, Yukimura gets understandably worried and angry.

okay, so now we know that he's a selfless iron woobie. what else? as stated above we know that he is actually a closet Sensitive Guy(TM). Yukimura is sensitive to his own feelings, at least. he's a Thinker, he thinks a lot and even overthinks. he is a tsundere to himself - because he's hardwired himself to sacrifice other needs and wants aside from the goals he's set for himself. if it’s not something for the benefit of his dream or Shingen or Sasuke - does he really need it?

he clings onto all the light he can hold onto no matter how small for the sake of his dream - it’s literally defined his life, he’s somewhat dependant on using his body to fight for something or someone and that’s why he’s always moving around doing something. Yukimura also respects other people who have a similar mindset (also his highest criteria when it comes to women; he gotta have something to respecc). 

if he didn’t have anything to fight for what do you think would happen? :thinking:,,,, check out chapter 13 of his dramatic route for the answer,,,, it is not pretty :(

even as a lover he's such an adorable loser that makes me want to cry. he is selfless love in the form of a man. he is basically a dog boi. he only wants to take care of you, your happiness is his happiness. he always offers to make YOU happy and not himself first- it's like as long as you're smiling he can keep going, even if he's tired or if he worked all day, he always has time to spoil and coddle you-- if you want all his attention he'll give it to you, no matter how tired or busy he is. in fact, he thinks that its part of the job description, that its his duty to indulge in your desires. even on his birthday, you know the day where HE'S supposed to get something, he goes out of his way to get YOU a present.

the conflict in his route is literally him coming to terms that he wants something for himself, denying himself from his own goddamn happiness. he finds out that you are on the side of his enemies, yet he still wants you because he’s fallen for you - but he tells/forces himself to think that he doesn’t need you after all, because “it wasn’t meant to be” and that he doesn’t deserve you because he brought you to the battlefield. even though he can do exactly what he needs to if you were simply just ‘friends’ or ‘acquaintances’ - the idea of giving himself true happiness by being with the person he loves? nah, fam.

literally the only time he wanted to be selfish for once he slapped himself and said ‘no’. if you didn’t chase after him, the regret would eat at him for a long time, regret that he’ll eventually learn to squash down inside himself and only add to fuel of performing only for others - and not himself.

answer: defence mechanism - he thinks women are bothersome because they cry. and when women cry he lacks the confidence(?) to use words to comfort them. they embarrass him, he’s a tsundere, he only says things truly from his heart under Very Specific Circumstances where he is completely vulnearable and open (like pre-spice or... some angst situation).

so instead he just falls back to being selfless like he normally is. all he knows is how to care about other people, carry their burdens and wanting them to rely on him. that's why when you're upset at the festival, he just keeps shoving food at you instead of asking 'what's wrong' and going off on that. because his mind is literally just thinking food = good = makes people happy = ok, let's do that then. that's also why he'd rather you be angry than sad. sad is bad because he doesn’t know how to deal with bad except being physically intimate - pretty sure Yukimura would rather die if he had to hug every crying woman he ever encountered.

conclusion: he’s just a lost, lost boi who doesn’t know how to comfort people so he sacrifices himself and puts others ahead of him using actions - he pampers, he lets people vent out on him, the works. what a fucking wholesome loser who needs to love himself for once.

there’s a part of Yukimura that is actually a bit insecure. it's odd because he’s usually so confident in himself, and so proud, but he’s also so self-deprecating? under that tough boy exterior is just a boi who wants to be loved. he wants someone who will be there for him and support his stupid ass. he uses himself to hold up everyone else's burdens, but sometimes there's nobody that might be able to do the same to him. he wants someone to come home to, when he's stressed and wants some loving because otherwise he'd hole up his emotions and explode-- if he didn't have Shingen and Sasuke there with him.

his route sort of expresses the fact that Yukimura has never experienced a ‘mature love’ before, or a love where he imagines a life together with them. crushes, probably at some point in his life. sexual experience? how can he not have any??? but mature love? questionable.

these moments are few and far between because its not explored quite as much, but when they do...

he says things like "don't leave me, i'll prove that i'm the man for you." (bitch doesn't have to prove jack shit, he literally radiates with Care and Love) and “I need you”. he just doesn't want you to disappear on him. 

why’d you think you decided to leave without telling him? bitch would fucking fight the sky to keep you with him.

he's scared to lose you because he's finally found someone who is willing to accept him and taught him that its ok for him to be selfish for once and do things for his own sake and his own happiness. what he wants most is to just come home and eat food with you together. every encounter with you is precious to him because you rarely see each other. he wants to spend time with you. he doesn't like it when things cut into plans that seperate the two of you- but he doesn't mind it if plans didn't run as expected as long as he still got to spend the day with you. even if he's busy, he lies to go out with you to do things that YOU want. 

he’s finally come to find some happiness outside of work and outside of how he already copes - that alone is special to him, whether you end up as his friend or as his lover.

Virgil hadn’t meant to do it, obviously. Why would he? He’d just found the dusty brown book in the library where he was trying to find a stupid public speech book. He’d reached behind the books on the second-to-last shelf, and...there it was.

Virgil wasn’t one to believe in superstition. He loved his fair share of novels and movies, but no creature or magic could ever be real. That was why he used the book in the first place, he figured he had nothing better to do, and if he died then he wouldn’t have to worry about his student loan debt.

Virgil had prepped everything, putting some extra candles in his shopping cart, which earned him more than one reproachful glance.

Now was the time. He finished the incantation and began feeling warmth across his body. This was stupid, of course he didn’t. Virgil Kingston was not summoning a demon.

Then, with a sudden burst of roaring flame that knocked Virgil onto the couch, he was standing there. This man had appeared, almost human in appearance, though he had red horns and a long pointed tail. He turned towards Virgil and smiled, his crimson eyes hungry, his abnormally sharp canines visible.

Virgil’s heart thudded in his chest, a quiet whimper leaving his lips. “Y-you’re Satan...”

The demon-man smirked more, tugging on the sleeves of his scarlet suit. “Far from it, I would say. I’m a demon, the name’s Roman, and it appears you’ve just summoned me. Care to explain why?”

“It—I did it as a joke!” Virgil said quickly. “Please don’t hurt me!”

Roman rolled his eyes, his every movement smooth. “I’m not going to hurt you, hun. I’d prefer if we made a deal, though.”

“A—a deal?” Virgil asked shakily.

“Yes, a deal. I could give you anything you want in the world—money, fame, power—and in return you give me your soul. That’s the general gist, anyway.” Roman shrugged.

Virgil thought about it. Anything in the world...he’d never have to stress about money, he could wish for some friends, maybe even find love. “And my soul...would you...be kind to it?”

Roman scoffed. “I suppose. Demons get souls as soon as a human dies, and it’s treated like currency. I suppose I don’t torture the humans in my possession, I do show them decency. So, yes, I would promise to be kind. Now, what is it you want?”

“There’s a lot...but not really riches and fame, you know? I guess it’s personal things.” Virgil frowned.

“Hm,” Roman hummed in thought, his red eyes calculating. “Well, you’re a virgin, so I could assume that’s one of the first things I could fix.”

Virgil gasped, somehow feeling exposed in his hoodie and jeans. “How would you even know that?”

Roman waved a dismissive hand, then pointed to an imaginary watch.

“I—um—“ Virgil became really flustered, his face reddening. “I want to never need to worry about finances, and I want to never be lonely, Roman!”

Roman paused, almost looking surprised, then he laughed. “I suppose that’s not too much to ask. Then, when you die, I’ll have your soul with the promise of kindness and fairness, etc. Do we have a deal, Virgil Kingston?”

Virgil stuck out his hand, not wanting to know how he knew his name. “Deal!” He shook Roman’s hand, and a spark of blue fired burst from it. “So, Roman, are you...sticking around?” He kind of hoped he would, he was pretty cute.

“If you want me to,” Roman said. “I live to serve, how ever you want me.” He winked, and Virgil felt a blush crawl across everywhere on his skin.

“We have to find a way to cover...all that.” Virgil looked from his horns to his tail.

“Would you like to see my human form?” Roman asked, changing to a form much like himself, only the horns and tail weren’t present, his teeth weren’t as sharp and his once-crimson eyes were a light brown.

“Wow,” Virgil blinked out, reaching out and touching Roman’s arm. “You’re stunning...”

“Why, thank you, sweetheart.” Roman purred. “If you’re in the mood to comment me all the time, we could just say we’re boyfriends.”

Virgil thought of that, genuinely thought, for a moment. It’d certainly get some nagging friends and family off his back, not to mention Roman was kind of hot. “Like a fake thing? Sure...first, we need to change your clothes, that tux isn’t exactly Virgil’s-boyfriend-material. Then, well...I’m sure you have a lot to learn on being human...”

So on to my very long response!

I've watched SO much about the ride just so I'm prepared to catch any reference. They just released Behind the Attraction on Disney+ and ep 1 is about the Jungle Cruise ride (Dwayne Johnson is in it too!). He talks about how much he loved the ride as a kid and used to imagine himself as a skipper which is SO cute and I'm so happy his dreams came true (and I find it very relatable as someone who dreams about being a raptor handler at Universal).

I'm genuinely a lil mad that the spelling changed. Because if you google it really everyone thought it was McGregor, they must've at some point released something on the movie for the press with that spelling and then changed their mind. Now everyone has it wrong because I suspect these featurettes are also gonna be the DVD/Bluray extras so I'm confident this is the final spelling. However I will continue to live in denial until I see the other spelling ON SCREEN.

"I really like Dwayne, hes got a warmth to him that comes across in Frank, even if hes trying not to show it to the siblings at first." Yes! I love that every character is a trope that I ADORE. Frank is the cynic who thinks everyone just wants to cheat you anyway and miracles don't exist who eventually cracks and warms up to people and shows that there is a soft, warm person in there after all. Lily is wildly optimistic and aggressively individualistic, not trying to fit in or caring about what anyone thinks and will probably have a moment of losing that optimism and doubting herself after all. And McGregor is the person who appears to think he's better than everyone, who's pampered and refuses to sacrifice any of the luxuries he's used to until he reveals he's gay and you realise most of it was just a show to cover up how hurt he really is. Three PEAK character tropes we're working with here and COMBINED with a reluctant-allies to lovers and a siblings trope.

Based on the reports (that I cannot stress enough I have no idea how accurate they are) he doesn't say "gay" but it's unambiguous what he's talking about. Let's hope that's true! I'm imaginging some sort of "relationships with men" or "no interest in women but rather men" or sth like that. I hadn't really considered that it might be ambiguous to someone who doesn't know he's supposed to be gay so that's a new fear unlocked lmao

I'm going to be so sad if we don't get sequels cause so many franchises with several movies don't have a core group of actors that are just friends and get along as well naturally as these three. Or if we get more movies and Jack isn't in them or sth like that. Like any future where these three aren't the leading trio in more movies is a nightmare.

McGregor laughing at Frank's puns alone could sustain me another year if I had to wait that long for the movie. Luckily I don't have to. It is so wholesome tho, like the fact that they're gonna get along and also get closer and McGregor won't end up sidelined for being a bitch until the last minute or sth is so wonderful.

And yes! It's tartan! We've seen p little of the beginning of the movie in London and since that's gonna be focused on just Lily and McGregor I'm so excited bc we got so little content so there's gonna be SO much in the movie to look forward to that I can barely even piece together!!! (All we know is lily will steal the arrowhead before falling out of the window which mcgregor sees and he immediately follows her so I assume he knew to come there and that there's a scene where she asks him in one of their bedrooms about wanting to go on an adventure. So I'm assuming the bedroom scene comes first and she'll tell him about the arrowhead, he'll refuse to help her but decide to come last minute because he's worried about her (and the worry is immediately proven right as she falls out of a window lol). But we know so little that it's a really loose theory.

And yes!! Lily's costumes are so good. Frank calls her Pants so they will absolutely address that she's dressed very unusual for a woman of her status in 1916/17 and I hope they explore that a little and address where she even gets her clothes and everything. I mean Emily Blunt looks good in everything but the costume department really made something gorgeous with this. She is, for the time the movie is set in, very gender nonconforming which I love in a female lead. And Emily described Lily's fighting style as very Indiana Jones and brutal without much tactic or thinking and just brute force and I really would die for this characterisation. Like when I compare this to similar female leads like in The Mummy for example they're usually highly feminine, aggressive only in their attittude and witty banter but always emphasised to be beautiful and wearing dresses and lots of (usually historically inaccurate) makeup and they get like one scene where they smack the bad guy with sth heavy or sth so noone can say they're a damsel in distress even though they are. But Lily feels very much like a coherent person to me. She's very unusual for a woman at her time, her desire for adventure is in line with how she fights and dresses but she doesn't seem to have the "uwu I'm not like other girls" thing going on, she's just exactly who she is and wants to be.

and of COURSE I wanna hear your theory are you kidding! Cause I still haven't figured it out at all lmao. I just settled on "she probably meant he was off screen but right next to them while they filmed it" or sth bc I couldn't make sense of it otherwise.
