too kind, far too kind. the sort of kindness that could make one feel a little bad about their own misdeeds. ganondorf swallows that back, focused INSTEAD on fiddling with his phone. it certainly isn't something that he would, under normal circumstances, be patient enough for, but it isn't often that someone would be so WILLINGLY kind to his ironclad heart. she didn't lie about her kindness. best to make good use of it.

❝you are patient,❞ he mumbles, nearly GRIPPED by surprise, all the while fumbling with an object far too small for his hands. ganondorf looks up when all is done, showcasing his phone's notebook application - plain and unused, there's no personality on display - and the words 'i love winter' on display. a lie he's too easy to give, for he's NEVER been shy about his distaste for the cold. ❝is there a change? it was … only a LITTLE lie ...❞

the kindness of others, something he could not at all UNDERSTAND, not any longer. thousands of years of isolation have worn him down, left him with his own thoughts. self reflection ought to be a good thing, but he's just grown more and more ACCUSTOMED to being by his lonesome. a fine tuned dagger for the art of war. sometimes he wishes he could shut down that side of himself, at least here, where his life is a literal PURGATORY.
