You do know that just because they're men that doesn't mean they can't suffer their own type of oppression like transfems do?

You do realize that saying that trans men are basically the same as cis men is subtextually saying that you would like a trans man more if he was a woman, or he hadn't come out in the closet in the first place?

You do realize that transandrophobia and transmisogyny are concepts that can and should coexist in trans activism because they aren't mutually exclusive?

You DO REALIZE that saying that all trans men are predatory in some way, shape or form is TERF rethoric about trans women and cis men except now it's directed at trans and cis men? You know that? You know that right???

JSpeaks the Poet, the Minister & God’s vessel

A world traveler, poet, minister, mentor, and humanitarian are all accurate terms to describe Jerome “JSpeaks the Poet” Covington. Being born in Hawaii to a military family, JSpeaks was blessed with the opportunity to travel the world and be exposed to a plethora of diverse experiences and peoples. Little did he know that those very experiences would shape the overall purpose of his life. They served as a platform to prepare him to minister and relate to people from all over the world. Going back to his childhood in San Diego, California where he was raised, Jerome knew he was a poet at heart and possessed rhythmic genius. It wasn’t until adulthood (around 2009) when he received an epiphany from God that he should use his gift for the betterment of the world around him. He immediately began writing and reciting various poems, raps, and songs. After many years of this as well as strengthening his connection with God, Jerome released several compilations including “Why JSpeaks” (2016), A Different Dynamic EP (2016), and the singles, God is Greater (2017) and Long Way (feat. Urgency) (2019). Currently JSpeaks is finishing up his latest project entitled “YOU THINK YOU KNOW ME?” to be released at the end of 2020.

Beyond his artistic endeavors, JSpeaks the Poet also serves The Board of Directors of Speak Out Inc. as a teacher and humanitarian. Speak Out Inc. is a non-profit organization with the mission to bring awareness and education about the effects of domestic violence in Houston and surrounding communities. JSpeaks believes he is an artist set out by God to convey his message in various ways. His main goal is to broaden the minds, hearts, and souls of people to ultimately help them form an intimate and lasting relationship with God, his Lord and Savior.

See, I think I would be less vocal about transandrophobia if the concept of All Men = Evil wasn't becoming slowly but surely ingrained in the queer community.

And it's mostly just repackaged misogyny.

“Women are out to get you” ≈ “Trans men are fowl when it comes to relationships”, “Trans men really are the men of the trans community” “Trans men are favored by the patriarchy.”

“If I offended you, I'm sorry Emily, Sarah, Stephanie, [other “generic white women names”] ≈ “If I offended you, sorry Alex, Sam, James, [other “generic transmasc names”]

Women being hysterical ≈ Trans men being aggressive

Like idk maybe we should look into that. Maybe we should stop the repackaged misogyny from male misogynists and TERFs.

And honest-to-god, I think the thoughts on those people's brains is something like “You don't suffer, you're a man.”

You know it actually scared me, during my first watch, when Klaus was kidnapped. Because he was right, no one was looking for him.

And I understand it. Klaus disappears all the time, he goes and gets high. And it's not like he has any ties to his siblings, he doesn't have to stay. It says it right there in the first episode's title, "We Only See Each Other at Weddings and Funerals". They never kept in touch, so why should they start now.

But to think that none of them would have even given a thought to the fact that Klaus might be in danger until it was too late. Yeah, that scared the shit out of me. It still deeply hurts my heart.
