he tugged suddenly at the handcuffs ,  nostrils flaring as he huffed out a tired breath now that they were alone ,  “ you’ve gotta be kidding me ... ”  pinching the bridge of his nose with his free hand while adrenaline began to settle at the lack of threat surrounding them ,  “ i’m about two seconds away from breaking your wrist ... ”
