   Rumi’s gaze traces the movement of a few of Keigo’s interns as they trot past, either holding documents or discussing missions of some kind- all stuff that she hadn’t been used to seeing or hearing for quite a while now. For... nearly five years, actually. The faint sense of familiarity was somewhat comforting- yet she knew she was better off ignoring it, lest her mind is left to wander down memory lane for too long.

          “ I’m surprised there aren’t a bunch’a coffee cans             and birds nests laying around ! “

          She jests, pairing the jab with a small chuckle.

   Truth be told, she didn’t 100% understand why she’d decided to drop into Keigo’s workspace. She was mostly hoping that he wouldn’t mind having an unexpected guest... as much as socializing is so far out of the norm for Rumi.

 “Hawks, yes? I know you. Oh my, it’s such an honor, sir. My children and I are such big fans.” Snowy locks draped over slender shoulders as the mother of four turned to look at her newest visitor. Of all people she hadn’t expected the young me from TV to show up. What a splendid young hero he was, someone her children and many more looked up to no doubt.

“I-….it’s very nice to meet you Mister Hawks. Enji writes about you all the time you know.” She murmured softly, giving a kind smile and shy bow of her head in greeting.

      Shigaraki has only heard of Hawks from two places. The media, being hailed as a popular hero, the second hero at that. And from Dabi, who was accepting Hawks into the League.

      Shigaraki was one to judge himself. He wouldn’t take Dabi’s words and rely on that. He wanted to meet Hawks himself, and see if he’d fit into his League. So he arranged a meeting. Face to face.

      The villain sat on the couch in the hide out, mindlessly playing his game. When the door opened, crimson eyes flicked up to see who it was. The silhouette was someone he hasn’t seen in person. He knew well who it was.

     The man sat up in a better position, switching off his Switch game and placing it on the table.

       “So you’re Hawks, right? Take a seat. I want to chat,” the man said, gesturing to one of the chairs around the table.

Hawks? Well I can’t recall if I have ever seen him in person before. Hmmm, perhaps not, I’m certain I would have remembered seeing someone with bright red wings and such a confident and perhaps even cocky air to them. But now came another question, an important one. What was he doing here?

Shika gave a soft sigh and rolled her eyes a bit, arms crossed as she tilted her head a bit. She was a rather short women with some deer features, most notable being the large antlers and ears, or perhaps that hooves that most tended hear before seeing. She was currently in her work outfit at the library, a rather small one, so it wasn’t often that she got visitors like him.

Still, she gave a warm, albeit a bit of a fake, smile to him, greeting him. “Is there anything I can help you with?”

“You’re the Wing Hero, Hawks! It’s a pleasure to meet you, sir. My name is Tenya Iida, class president of class 1-A at the illustrious UA High.”

  “And yet you still should have told me no matter what. This whole damn thing is built on trust Keigo. You have to tell me these kinda things.” Shino lent against his kitchen’s counter, his arms crossed as he stared at the blonde in silent frustration, amber yellow eyes narrowing. He wasn’t angry, there was no bite to his usual voice, but the disappointment was still there.

“You knew what I’d say..and you weren’t going to like it. Well tough for you because I’m still going to say it. I’m going.” He stated simply. “I have the authority to conduct this assignment alone.I don’t give a damn if it’s dangerous. This is my district. I’ll handle it myself.”

“If they want me. Fine. I’ll bait them into a trap. You can’t come.”

      the sudden voice that rang throughout the place makes the girl jump almost out of her skin ,  tense shoulders suddenly noticeable .  she turns quickly ,  facing the other as he spoke .  “  it’s . . .  it’s alright ,  really .  “  was he apologizing because of her rather spontaneous show of emotions ?  now she felt bad ,  if that was the case .  “  thank you .  “

IT WAS THE FIRST DAY OF AMANO’S INTERNSHIP but things have not been going the way she expected. She felt exhausted. Terrible dreams nightmares had kept her up all night. Because of that, she dozed off on the train, it caused her to miss her stop. The last thing she wanted was to seem ungrateful for this opportunity.

Amano raced down the busy street barely making it on time. She panted with hands on her knees.

“ I’m still gonna call you old even if you don’t use kid” Keigo grinned, and then huffed in annoyance. His wings rose slightly in response to his swift mood change. “Well yeah, who else is gonna know? Her mom’s dead and I sure as hell don’t trust people with her so. Congrats welcome to the exclusive club of knowing I have a kid”

A gloved hand slipped in to his pocket, retrieving his phone before he began flipping through it. His phone was unique, with one of the highest security systems imaginable for a mobile device. It has nothing to do with his status as a hero though, but rather because of one single picture. “ She has my wings and hair, but the rest is her mom. Besides the natural eyeliner of course”

He leaned back a big, letting out another sigh. “ I think I’ve seen her briefly before, I don’t care to pay much attention to the schools. I’m sure she likes having you worrying about her. People like having people who care” Keigo looked at the Chief as he spoke, snorting at his response to the feather. The hero never saw it as much of a big deal, but everytime he gave one people seemed astonished.

“I like talkin’ to you too Chief. It’s nice having someone to banter with, or just mumble about pleasantries with. Can’t do it with the heroes. They all grew up together. I’m not apart of that” If it bothered him, he didn’t show it, his smile just as sincere as it had been before. “I’m glad I didn’t ruin that trust though. Hope it stays. This is nice”

Then suddenly, his eyes sparkled with a glint of mischievousness, and his tone shifted so rapidly it could have easily caused whiplash.

“Does this mean I can break in to your office and use your chair when I wanna?”
