HEADCANON - Ezreal’s Parents.
Like canon, Ezreal’s parents ( currently unnamed bc I haven’t picked them yet nor have I even picked a last name for Ezreal bc I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have one canonly ) are very successful archaeologists. Ezreal remember at a young age, that his mother was always supportive of his musical interest and talents—while his father was more indifferent ( and would have preferred Ezreal join them in archaeology). He remembers the lullabies and soft songs that his mother would sing to him to kill him to sleep when they were around.
Though not only were they archaeologists; but treasure hunters. This was mostly the role of his father, who would go into dangerous ruins for treasure to find, despite the warnings from his wife.
Ezreal was 10 when his Uncle Lymere took permanent custody of him. They have been missing for 12 years. They didn’t see Ezreal’s rise to stardom—he hasn’t heard from them since the letters had stopped coming around the same time his uncle gained custody. His parents had been mentioned in the news to be missing—and eventually presumed dead, which Ezreal believes, despite their bodies not being discovered. Ezreal’s parents were also wealthy because of their work—Ezreal has inherited the family fortune.
So, his Uncle is more like a father to him then anything. He saw him often, unlike his parents who were always gone for work until they disappeared. He has a good relationship with Lymere who is nothing but supportive and Ezreal calls him frequently.
Ezreal still thinks about his parents from time to time. He wonders why the bodies weren’t found or if they’re really alive and just..abandoned him. He did develop some abandonment issues from this, mostly because he has no closure. He believes they’re dead ( and they are! ) but HE doesn’t know for sure.
Sometimes he hums the music his mother used to sing to him.

Makes a separate post so ppl actually see it
so anyway, in regards to the P5 verse for Shinji, whose Ken’s ( @sociallinked ) adoptive father, and following Farllee’s stuff a bit, when Ken transfers to Tokyo, Shinji knows that Minako & Akihiko are there too. Something isn’t right, he knows that, so with Mitsuru’s assistance, he opens up another location for Aragaki’s in Tokyo. His current location in Iwatodai would be run by his management team there, who he trusts ( since it’s been open for YEARS now ), and if Farllee is cool with it, he stays with Ken. ( if not he’ll live nearby :’) ) anyway. That’s how he gets there! He’s working Alongside Minako and Akihiko and Ken ect ect.

I think about this quite often but
Ezreal builds and paints Gundams and garage kit figures/models ect ect ect but he’s kind of embarrassed by it. Some parts of it were form him being teased by his peers at a young age for being nerdy, since he’s already is smart, and then liking anime ect just kind of made it worse. And since he was dealing with the death of his parents still, he kind of just decided to keep that part of him to himself.
This is why Ezreal does a LOT of stupid shit, it’s pretty much a way of masking? He pretends to be less intelligent then he actually is ( not by much, but enough to not seem like a know it all ), and he keeps his model building to himself too.
Even if you go into his bedroom, sure, he has some figures, plush toys, ect ect around but he doesn’t have as many as he would like to have. And that’s mostly because he was picked on as a kid. The models on display are usually ones he built, too, but he claims he just bought him pre built rather than doing it himself.
Generally if he’s locked up in his room and most of the others think he’s sleeping or just on social media—he’s not. He’s putting together and painting models ( Ezreal has a hard time sleeping anyway bc of his anxiety issues ). Another way he keeps it a secret is that he sells the built models online, packages them in one of his many boxes he has from ordering stuff online and mailing them out.
There’s literally only like. 3 people that know about it. That would be Sett, Aphelios and Hwei ( @inkisionary specifically )

Just had the idea of Tseng teaching Aerith self defense- and of course she's practice it on her own and not just with him. But imagine they're practicing and he full on gets knocked flat on his ass.
Aerith is stunned her idea actually worked and Tseng has this super proud expression laying there just like

Ive been habing thoughts about Lucas and how he acts with each person. This got LONG. So its going to be under the cut
Reno
Lucas trails along behind Reno like a lost puppy when he first joins the Turks. Reno is happy, and jokes and he's so relaxed and open about everything and Lucas is so confused how anyone can just, be like that. And at the same time he's so happy to be around that kind of energy after the labs.
Someone whose carefree and laid back, who makes stupid jokes when its not busy. But who clearly knows what he's talking about and is serious about his job. Lucas has that lack of filter eventually, but his first two years as a Turk (between 03 and 05), he doesn't really make the jokes or speak his mind. Reno is the one I think that really breaks him out of that quiet and hesitant shell. And then he becomes a total gremlin
Tseng
His boss, the one who brought him into the Turks, (and with some writers, his babysitter when he was a teenager). Also probably the only man who scares him more than the labs do. Lucas admires Tseng for different reasons than he admires Reno. He might be Reno's shadow, but he's always eyeing Tseng. Tseng embodies to him what it means to be a Turk. To wear the suit. And knowing that he can do his job so well and seem so calm is terrifying.
When Tseng sets it up for him join the Turks for his hacking skills, he makes it clear that he is in Tseng's debt through his actions, rather than words. He'd jump in front of a bullet for Tseng without a second thought if needed. There has only ever been a handful of orders that Tseng has ever given that Lucas backtalked him on, and he's one of the two people in Shinra tgat Lucas calls "sir" or by their title. That doesn't mean he idolizes Tseng as this perfect Turk at all- everyone has flaws and Lucas does see some of Tseng's at times working with him, but he still holds him in very high regard despite everything.
Rude
The hardest one to think about. Lucas met him when he met Reno. Rude doesnt talk much, is a very imposing figure, and Lucas,,, Doesn't know how to even approach Rude when they meet. The man os always hiding behind his glasses and doesnt even crack a smile. It's nerve wracking not to know what someone is thinking, and even worse when the person is dead silent all the time.
But they do get along. I feel that Lucas does warm up to Rude over the years, in part because of Reno talking him up. In the first bit he barely gives a small smile in greeting and just kinda nods and goes about his day. But after a year or so, he says hello, he remembers Rude's coffee order. Its the small things. Their relationship gets very strained after the plate fall. Lucas knows its not any of the Turk's fault, but Rude pushed the button and Lucas has that knowledge constantly in his head every time they're around each other.
Rufus
Adding him bc in my head, Rufus counts.
Rufus is the big boss, the head honcho, and damn if Lucas doesn't hold this man above everyone else. Will he ever admit that? Fuck no. Rufus is what he asipres to be. Someone who really said "fuck you I'm doing what I want in life" and accomplished exactly what people didn't think he could. Lucas knows he doesn't have the guts to do what Rufus does but he damn well respects the man for it.
When he first joined the Turks, Rufus was a spoiled brat to him. But he very quickly learned that that impression was wrong. Rufus wasn't a spoiled brat, he wasn't given the position out of nepotism completely and he knew what he was talking about. Someone who was competent, confident, and willing to put his foot down. Rufus is the only other person Lucas will call Sir, or by title. He'd jump in front of any danger for Rufus in seconds, to give the man a chance to keep going, he's got no hesitation. And if he's maybe starry eyed while near Rufus on occasion, you're completely wrong.

In human verses, Riona triple majors. She has a Bachelor of Science in forensics, anthropology, and biology. She has minors in writing and kinesiology.
She has a Master of Science in forensic sciences.
She has a PhD in forensic anthropology.
She does do a combined degree program for her Masters/PhD, and the PhD is where she gets her emphasis in forensic anthropology.
Through her time at the FBI, she is always studying on her own. She reads articles to keep her up to date and to help her knowledge.
After she retires due to her injuries after Warren Andrews, Riona decides to keep studying formally. She boosts writing and kinesiology to Bachelors degrees; she boosts biology to a Masters.
She studies plenty of languages as well, and she ends up being a published fiction author as well as her research.
Riona does tend to consult after her retirement, and she enjoys doing seminars or conferences after she is able to do things in-person again.
And if you’re curious about the money: Riona was a stripper throughout undergrad & even grad school until she had to do more field work. Since PhD programs for sciences usually involve paying for school through teaching or other methods, Riona graduated from her initial degrees debt free, and she made a healthy amount of money at the FBI.
Not to mention the Luke of it all; having a famous pop star best friend certainly helps her finances. XD

Chris absolutely hates it when people sexually objectify anybody he considers to be a part of his family/unit. He's had to deal with that shit over the years with Claire and even though Jill is a grown ass woman he still gets defensive of her. He doesn't allow guys to just say shit to him about them, or anyone else for that matter. That kind of behavior leads to the deterioration of squads.

What type of villain are you?
Tumblr media
For the Greater Good
Perhaps you do not believe what you are doing can truly be classified as evil. Perhaps some people will be hurt from the immediate consequences of your actions, but what the masses fail to see is the immense good that will come of your plans. Maybe you act in the name of science, or for your people who have fallen on great tragedy. Maybe you see cracks in a failing system and want to uproot it through chaotic, destructive means to avoid greater tragedy down the line. Maybe you're just in with a bad crowd, but you can't leave them, no matter how unsavory their intentions, because they're your only ticket to your ultimate goals. No matter what, your goals are noble, and you take no joy in wreaking havoc or hurting those in your way, but the evils you partake in are necessary. If you need to play the bad guy to ensure a better future, then you are willing to play that part.

Let’s talk about Ezreal’s abandonment issues.
Tumblr media
The death of his parents had really given Ezreal some nasty Abandonment issues throughout his life.
There’s an understanding that they died on the job, but with him being at such a young age when it happened, when the letters stopped coming, when his parents were claimed to be missing and bodies not recovered and the sudden adoption/permanent custody from his uncle, it blossomed some abandonment issues, especially because even twelve years later, their bodies still were never recovered and they are still ‘missing’. On one hand Ezreal believes they’re dead ( they are ), but because of their status he also has something clawing at his brain that makes him think they just straight up abandoned him with his uncle for whatever reason.
It’s because of this that Ezreal is so outgoing. That he is so over the top and tries to be everybody’s friend for the most part. Why he latches himself onto the other Heartsteel boys like his life depends on it. Because he’s afraid other people will just leave, too. But if he keeps their lives interesting by being spontaneous & obnoxious, perhaps they’ll find him interesting enough to stay.
This also makes dating VERY HARD. Ezreal and dating is complicated. Fucking around is one thing because he can have a ‘no strings attached’ mentality, but when he actually develops feelings for someone, that gets really scary. If they reject him? Abandonment issues. Break up with him? Abandonment issues. So he gets insufferable in a way that he sort of hopes would push people away—and if they go, he knows it wasn’t worth it. If they stay, he gives it a chance, but he comes off as clingy because of it, and he can be really anxious at times when he does something ( esp cause his love languages are acts of service/physical affection ) because he doesn’t want to seem as ‘too much’ or push his partner away if they’re in a good place because he constantly feels like he’s walking on eggshells with himself. Is he giving too much? Is he too affectionate? It’ll put him in a spiral sometimes.

Im gonna say it now- writing Tseng and Aerith having a sibling bond is honestly one of my guilty pleasures. Tseng teaching her self defense, and Aerith showing him all the different types of flowers she's got. Tseng helping her when he could, when she was a little kid, carrying her home if she got hurt so Elmyra could take care of her. Carrying candies and supplies, just in case. Bringing her birthday gifts or just, being there when she needed it, in all honesty.
Yes, his job was to bring her back to Shinra in the end, but he wasn't going to drag her back and he was going to do anything he could to just see her happy.

Riona as the Seasons
Okay, time for my analysis/response. Spring -- Far and away had the most votes. I can understand this, because spring generally stands for renewal, hope, cycles starting anew, etc. Riona's optimism is nearly unwavering. She exudes hope. For me, though, Spring is too transitional for Riona. I don't see her as a Spring.
Summer -- Had one vote here on tumblr and one from my roommate/co-author of the overall world and the person who probably knows Riona best outside of myself. As my roommate said, Summer is when you see the most stars. Summer can also be extremely turbulent, with the weather going from storms to sun quickly. I'm truly surprised there weren't more votes for Summer. It's, to me, the epitome of Riona. Warm, often smothering, full of life and activity and energy, and the night skies are endless stars.
Autumn -- NO votes at all. Again, I do think it's too transitional of a season for Riona. I think it's a little more apt for Riona as a transitional season than Spring, though. Autumn is where a lot of her trauma happens; the way things die as Autumn turns to Winter is so fitting for Riona's journey. Finding the beauty in Autumn despite the end result, while sometimes a struggle due to her mental health, is something that she can do and loves to see. And the sadness that she carries is like the chill on a day that seems warm.
Winter -- Had one vote on here and a half vote from a friend not on here. I don't see this one at all, but I also do not like Winter in the slightest myself. XD But I think it's too cold, too barren, and too still for Riona. There's not enough light in Winter for her.
Please feel free to share your reasoning for your votes!
