A small town on the brink of war between a coven and a pack of wolves, five years have passed since the arrival of the Stark pack and the tension is still as high as it was then. They are forever at odds, temperatures are high, fights are constant and nothing is settling.

Lakebrook is a 25+ discord group, delving into dark dove themes within the verse of the supernaturals in a quiet town.

The world has forever known about the supernaturals, though no one is entirely sure when they all came known to humankind, history books are filled with stories, both regarding humans and those who have special abilities. Battles have been lost and won throughout all of history, between species, some fighting side by side and others at war for decades, it is just how the world is. But for centuries now the world has been at peace between species, whilst war still rages on across the globe, it is no longer about who takes the top places between them all, it is over other things.

Such things are simply regarding power, regardless of species, race or age, it is simply who has the most power. And in London, the capital of Britain, that is the exact war that is raging through. The four cards, run by various species and leaders, battle for power across the city. Not at all is it equally divided, whilst one may own neighbourhoods, another will have a place of business or residence that is right in the middle to hold them back. Whilst an all-out war hasn't taken place yet, it is forever looming in the shadows, just waiting for something to happen, something to snap the rubber band that is stretching thinner and thinner every day.

wxs and n25 have really interesting story and dynamic parallels but no one seems to talk about it since its 1/2 3/4 and that means no yaoi

1 who gets too into their work -- to the detriment of their health -- and attaches their value to how close they are to their ultimate goal in life (which truly began because of an ailing family member) who for one reason or another takes it upon themselves to "save" something deeply important to 2's well-being and sense of self, something they are in danger of losing due to a struggle with their family.

3 who struggles with confidence in their main talent/passion and feels like they're stuck because of preexisting insecurity made worse by events we see only in flashback and how they're being supported by 4 who has issues trying to move on from the past and step into the future + fights w the existential dread of how their fun will end one day but is actually the first to try and break apart from the rest..
