Donald Sutherland
Poi ancora ritorno a Cold Mountain, Lord of war, orgoglio e pregiudizio, An American haunting.
Goodbye to Donald Sutherland, the beloved Oscar honorary actor who starred in dozens of films from The Dirty Dozen to MASH to the Hunger Games saga has died in Miami. He was 88 years old. His son Kiefer announced it on social media.
"With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally consider him one of the most important actors in the history of cinema. Never discouraged by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what that he loved, and you could never ask for more.
Born in 1935 to a family of Scottish origins in Saint John, a Canadian town in the province of New Brunswick, but raised in Halifax, Donald Sutherland in his long acting career took part in more than 180 films and won the Oscar in 2017. His debut in cinema took place in an Italian film, The Castle of the Living Dead, from 1964 and directed by Luciano Ricci and Lorenzo Sabatini. In 1968 he appeared in the well-known film 'That Dirty Dozen' by Robert Aldrich but the real success takes place in 1970 with the film M.A.S.H. by Robert Altman where he plays Captain Benjamin Franklin set in a US field hospital during the war in Korea. His participation, in 1976, in Bernardo Bertolucci's work, Novecento alongside Robert De Niro and Gerard Depardieu, was unforgettable. In the same year, Federico Fellini wanted him to play Giacomo Casanova in Il Casanova, shot entirely in theater 5 of Cinecittà.
Other performances include the 1978 films Animal House by John Landis, Terror from Outer Space by Philip Kaufman, and The Eye of the Needle by Richard Marquand in 1981. And again Killer Fire from 1991 directed by Ron Howard and, from the same year, JFK by Oliver Stone. Other interpretations for Lethal Virus (Outbreak) by Wolfgang Petersen, Virus by John Bruno. With Anthony Hopkins he plays Instinct - primordial instincts. Directed by Clint Eastwood in Space cowboys. In The Italian job of 2003 for the remake of Un coup all'italiana of '69. Then again I return to Cold Mountain, Lord of war, pride and prejudice, An American haunting. In 2007 he was the protagonist of the TV series Dirty sexy money. Finally in 2017 the drama film Elia & John, the leisure seeker by Paolo Virzi '. He has married three times and two of his children, Rossif and Kiefer, with Shirley Douglas, have undertaken an acting career.

Loving someone, wholeheartedly and steadfastly, ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of being with them… Is nothing short of a challenge.
Stories like that are a tale as old as time. The kind of love so all-encompassing, so unimaginative, so…. Perfect.
Kiara believed a love like that to be true. She wished for that for herself and all her cousins at large.
But…. Then Victoria…
“Y-You and Prince Edelweiss??” Kiara stiffened up, utterly stunned.
Sipping on her tea, Victoria smiled softly. “Yes,” so she replied. “He's quite charming, is he not?”
Charming wasn't the best word to describe Aldrich. At least to Kiara, and many other members of Pomefiore.
She couldn't quite understand a mind like her cousin's. Everything about Victoria — from the way she walked, talked, acted, and even sounded — she was completely, beautifully unreadable.
It was hard for Kiara to comprehend that out of all the people out there, her cousin chose…. The Crown Prince of the Edelweiss Empire.
“V-Victoria, with all due respect-”
“If you have come here to pester me about my lover as Sarah did, then it shouldn't come as a surprise to you that I am firmly rejecting any offers of breaking things off with him.”
Kiara pursed her lips. But…. The Prince is…
To say Aldrich was concerning was an understatement. Kiara didn't know him well, especially in comparison to Victoria, but she always had the feeling that Aldrich… Was unusual.
She was justified, of course! Upon hearing what had occurred in the Edelweiss Empire, once upon a time, she quickly put the pieces together.
And deduced that it was Aldrich who had committed such a crime.
Naturally, Kiara had every right to be surprised and — more specifically — bewildered by the notion that her elder cousin was in a relationship with the prince.
Knowing Victoria, she must've connected the dots about it by now. Kiara thought, her grasp on her teacup all but firm. But if that were the case…. Why would she even be with him?
Speaking of which, a dove had perched itself on the balcony they sat from; a gift alongside them.
Victoria's eyes shone in silent excitement, gently petting the dove and bidding it adieu once it had flown away.
“Err….” Kiara didn't exactly know how to start up a conversation, at the moment. “What is that, cousin?”
Victoria let out a hum. “A gift from Aldrich,” her lips curved upwards. “How sweet.”
Opening the small box, her lips parted, a silent shine in her sapphire eyes. Tilting her head to the side, Kiara wondered what had garnered such a reaction from someone as expressionless as Victoria.
She soon received her answer. Victoria took out a small piece of chocolate cake, with the frosting laid out on top to resemble white roses.
Victoria giggled. “How sweet of Aldrich, knowing my tastes so well.”
Kiara could only shudder at the thought of how Aldrich received word of Victoria's love of sweets. Given his tendencies, she could only assume the worst…
“Victoria….”
Kiara received a hum in response, and she trod onward.
“Prince Edelweiss seems to cherish you, very much so,” Once again, Kiara cocked her head to the side. “But… The last I checked, didn't he once threaten your life?”
Her words alone were enough for Victoria to set her fork down, a dangerously calm look in her eyes.
The kind of look that could kill within seconds.
“V-Victoria, I didn't mean-”
“I believe it's time for you to leave. It's getting late.”
Those words alone were just befuddling. They were both in the same dorm, for seven's sake!
“But-”
“Kiara, dear,” Victoria's hands were as cold as ice when they laid over Kiara's. “It's getting late. We wouldn't want you going past Vil's curfew and getting in trouble, now, would we?”
What she was saying was merely an excuse. A convincing excuse, yes, but Kiara had known her cousin for long enough to know whether she was lying or not. At least most of the time.
This time, she didn't need to think it through.
Kiara stood, sending her cousin one last polite smile before hastily exiting her dorm room.
Victoria smiled as she waved her younger cousin good night. But that smile quickly faded.
Sighing, Victoria didn't bother to turn her head to look at the crow perching itself atop the balcony; in the exact spot the dove rested.
“Anything?” she asked the crow, picking up her slice and calmly eating at it, leaving little room for crumbs.
The crow tilted its head before it began flying around her in a circle. It dropped a letter, letting out a caw, before flying off.
Victoria's eyes narrowed, legs crossed. Taking hold of the letter, she wasn't the least bit surprised by its contents.
Receiving information on those she considers an adversary is practically a hobby for her, at this point.
A Shard — especially one as sharp as her — will do anything to satisfy their ambition. No matter the costs.
༝ㅤ・ㅤ˚ㅤ。ㅤ.ㅤ⋆ㅤ✧̣̩⋆̩☽⋆゜【♛】
Aldrich wandered the woods. Not the ones in Pomefiore, but rather his personal hunting ground in Edelweiss.
Mercilessly shooting down a deer, he hummed in satisfaction and walked to his now-dead prey.
He chuckled to himself. “Oh, how lovely,” his hand found its way to his cheek, a look in his eyes that one could only call: crazed. “My darling savior will absolutely adore this…”
A trophy, of sorts. Aldrich knows of the tradition of gifting one's love a ‘trophy’ from a hunting venture. A way to express their devotion that they'd do anything, anything, for them.
Even if it costs the life of another.
“.... But what if she doesn't like it?” He sighed to himself. “My savior is of the most selective type…. I'm uncertain of how she'll feel about something like a deer head. Perhaps the heart, instead?”
Aldrich concluded. Shrugging his shoulders, he simply decided to give Victoria the deer's head and its heart.
Surely, that was worthy enough of showing his devotion to her, yes?
Although, I have to wonder….. Aldrich thought to himself, angling his head upwards to stare at the horizon.
…. How does my darling devote herself to me?
༝ㅤ・ㅤ˚ㅤ。ㅤ.ㅤ⋆ㅤ✧̣̩⋆̩☽⋆゜【♛】
“Filthy….”
Victoria sat on a chair, sharpening a now-clean knife in her hands. She stared down the bloodied corpse lying down on the floor, and hummed.
“And you can ensure that no one will receive word of this?”
“Positive.”
Sarah Marigold leaned against the wall, eyes narrowing at the corpse in disgust. To think, this is what Vivi-chan would be willing to do for that creep….
She was reluctant to assist Victoria in this little ‘business trip’ of hers. Although she loved her cousin with everything she had, Sarah couldn't deny the limits someone as obsessive as she could have.
Especially when Aldrich Edelweiss was involved.
Sarah couldn't help but grit her teeth. She couldn't stand it, couldn't stand the mere thought that Victoria would spare the time to do…. All this, for Aldrich.
“.... You may leave.”
Sarah stiffened. “W-What-?”
“I appreciate your assistance, Sarah, truly,” Victoria spoke so coldly that it was hard for Sarah to tell if she was telling the truth. “But I believe you should leave. At once.”
Sarah wouldn't argue. She just couldn't.
She let out a reluctant huff, bowing to her cousin before leaving the room. Albeit, not as hastily as Kiara did, in a (slightly) similar situation.
Leaning back against her seat, Victoria sighed, lips parted, slowly curving upwards into a twisted smile.
“For you, my Aldrich….
.... All of this, for you.”

∅ hehe could i get for lenacero or dorian / aldrich
Smiles and does both
“Hmph! Madam Dovett might just be the only person worth listening to in this entire dorm, maybe even the entire school!
Not only does her grace extend to the theatre, but she’s proven herself to be a wonderful performer. Why, it's as if she’s been acting her entire life! Personally, I believe if she was given the chance on a stage (especially on mine), she could become a world star, or something even greater mind you.
Of course, she can’t replace me though. My acting is a blessing from the gods themselves–something not even a holy dove can take from me.”
“Oya? The painter from the dorm of dragons?”
“I’ll admit, his odd disdain towards anything… holy, was extremely suspicious for a hunter like me. But eventually, I realized how kind he is~! Whenever I speak, he doesn’t bother disrupting me like all the other witches I’ve met, but rather asked that I continue on. Nor did he even become grossed out when a witch hunt of mine slipped out.
I shouldn’t go naming people saviors so stupidly, it’s gotten a prince like me in dastardly encounters with those disgusting witches. But maybe… just maybe, he could be one?

with. DOVE ALDRICH:
where: the bar of mercy’s when: the edge of midnight, some rowdy lil weekend who: closed for @dovealdrich
"Well this is a sight for sore eyes,” it’s overly friendly, considering the way things had been left. She’d filled out since he’d last seen her, the natural way that age does. There’s a darkness to her eyes now, a pause that hangs about her shoulders. “I’d be surprised to see you, but you’ve made quite the stir around town” Laurie gestures to her knuckles from across the bar. “I didn’t remember you quite so punchy.”

for: @dovealdrich location: anchor management date: april 17, 8:30pm
Problems often came in pairs, and in this case- the two headed monster that sat in a booth at Anchor Management came in the form of Dove Aldrich and Vic Hastings. They were coming off a high, a great day of recording- with her writing the lyrics and his crooning them into the microphone, it felt as though they were getting somewhere with the new album, even if it was premature. As a result, they were sharing a bottle of wine, a chaser to the bottle of whiskey that they’d passed back and forth in the Uber there, paired with a bowl of olives. He’d cycled through the stages of drunkenness in the same way that some people chased through grief and now they were an insufferable duo; laughing too loudly and sneering at irate gazes that were cast their way. Dove had the tendency to hold fury in the palm of her hand and Vic was all too used to batting at it like a dissatisfied house cat: forming the paradox of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. The hostess looked at them nervously as Vic drained the rest of his glass; his accent felt more authentic now, as close to second nature as anything could be. Across from them was a couple on date night, with the male half of the two sitting and fuming as it grew harder and harder for hear anything over the the band members. “Can you please shut the fuck up?” He bore teeth in response, like something feral, curving Dove closer while he spoke in a tone that could be heard clear across the restaurant despite being intended as a whisper. “Hear that? They think we’re being a distraction.”

Location: On the Rocks 🥃
@dovealdrich
Buzzing. That was Sam’s favorite way to be on a Friday night and this week wasn’t an exception. He’d pre-gamed and started his usual game of where’s the cool crowd hanging tonight. Once he’d come to the realization that Fear Knot was not it, it hadn’t been long until he’d scurried over to the next best thing – not that there were all that many options but On the Rocks was his usual go-to anyways. Not as run down as the former place but still enough to draw a rather diverse crowd. Dark, heavy-lidded eyes scanned the room, wandering around in a relentless search of a familiar face or rather, a familiar face he liked. Instead, they met with a similar pair and he couldn’t help but let them linger. He’d never seen that woman around before and having lived here all his life, Sam knew every single patron by now. Sam was sure he would’ve noticed someone like her before – a rather intimidating presence with a piercing look and to say he was intrigued, would’ve been an understatement. New people drew looks and attention in a place like this and Sam, being as bored as he was, could use a change. Some stimulation for his seemingly shriveling brain. So he motioned to the bartender to mix him another vodka sour before he picked up his drink as casually as he could, making his way over while focusing on staying as steady as he could, his eyes still peering over his tinted sunglasses a little too obviously.
#( dove aldrich. )#alcohol tw#// i am terrible with starters but i hope this works!! <3#( this is queued pls don't yell at me. )

◈ @thesaint // cont.
Few could say that they had seen divinity other than that which was said to reside in grains of sand, in wildflowers. The deity of Anri’s youth was depicted in shards of stained glass, painted onto frescoes that adorned vaulted ceilings. Beautiful, unattainable, distant. Reachable only through stern and decidedly human conduits, who were all too often hard-hearted.
The kinless altar girl was now a woman, but she remained just as lost. Stumbling through snow-carpeted streets, her pilgrimage had brought her to the Holy Father’s hallowed door, her pale hands clenched into tremulous fists. Unwilling to leave, too fearful to knock. Did he sense the appetite in her? Did he know she harboured a hunger to match his own?
Frost climbed the windows, coating it like a second skin, but cold took no root. Heat rolled out of Aldrich in waves, laced into those warm notes of incense and spice. Seeming to smell her desperation, her uncertainty, his lordly head turned. Candlelight bathed him in honeyed tones, the studs that decorated his features glinting, smouldering in eyes the colour of low-burning embers. God saw her, and Anri fretted, fingers curling shyly in her skirt.
Comfort came in the elegant, proffered hand. Broad in the palm, warm and soft. Resplendent, Aldrich glittered and gleamed, bedecked in finery fit for the saint. Anri surrendered, allowing one of her hands to settle in his. A pale dove to be engulfed, buried in his gentle grip. As he hinted at a grand pantheon of divines, she could think only of where their bodies touched, eager to believe that he could adore even the unlovely creations of other gods.
A colossal hand cradled her cheek with unspeakable tenderness, as though she were something precious, something of immeasurable worth. Tension bled from her as blood from a sacrificial lamb, but grief remained. Sea-blue eyes brimmed with tears, recalling the child wracked with loneliness, grieving the family she was never able to call her own. To an unwanted girl, no gift seemed greater than the offer of a home, of a wing under which to roost.
“If you did not make me, can I ever truly be yours?” The question leapt out of her in a desperate whisper. Like any gasping, drowning thing, she wished to cling, to climb into his arms, to believe she had a place at his table, that she was worthy of his voracious love. Surely there were imperfect parts of her he would have changed – reshaped, remade – if she had sprung from his holy hands. “Or will I always be something borrowed?”

What are some headcanons you have about Wesley from Children of Hypnos that you haven’t shared yet? I’m obsessed with him rn idk why lol
Wes's favorite breakfast is oatmeal with banana
He loves banana the fruit but hates banana candy
He hasn't gotten rid of his ratty sweater because it used to be his dad's and his mom made it
He secretly thinks he would love needle crafts, if he ever got time to try them. Knitting, embroidery, etc. He tells no one.
His greatest fear is losing his eyesight
Lesser fears are small dark spaces, unexpected chunks in his pre-bottled protein shakes, and the call of mourning doves
He doesn't know why the call of mourning doves freaks him out
When he goes for his monthly sleep, he has dreams of being at a backyard cookout. His whole extended family is there, but one by one they start to disappear, until it's only him and Ridley.
Sometimes he thinks he remembers what it felt like to have White Sight, but it's fleeting
His favorite spot on Fenhallow's campus is one of the picnic tables on the quad outside Hothram Hall, where the trees make nice shade.
His dreamforming potential rivals Aldrich Ashworth's, though he hasn't reached that level yet.
He has actually always liked Emery, even when he found her annoying as hell or thought of her as aloof and entitled. Her confidence helped him believe that dreamhunting was a worthwhile pursuit, especially when he most felt like they only existed to die.

You Call That Sneaky?? - Dimitri Belikov X Reader
Not all goes as planned when Y/N and Belikov fly the bird.
TW: Strong language, use of gunship/death.
"Belikov, we need covering fire!" is what you heard come through his comms attached to his collar. It was Adler, they were in a pretty tight place. You quickly pulled the missiles online and hit "launch sequence" on the AC-31 Gunship.
Belikov flipped some switches, pulled back on the yoke and held it steady. He looked back at you and gave the nod. You quickly got on the radios to let them know the danger.
"Y/N to Adler, danger close. I repeat danger close. AC-31 out!" You warned them.
You set off the first round of just bullets, and quickly switched to bursts of incendiary rounds.
"Shot out!" You called, hitting a direct target.
The place was practically crawling with enemies, and you needed to clear extraction to bring the team up. They originally came here to collect some potential information regarding Robert Aldrich.
You needed to take him out because he was leaking sensitive information to Perseus, and his trail went cold after Bell was able to crack his spy ring.
So, of course hotshot Adler loaded himself, Woods, and Mason up and hauled their cookies all the way to the Border of Colorado.
They snuck around, maintaining stealth. You and Belikov controlled the bird, and flew around for sweep and cover protection. But, as they snuck up on a meeting, it was all revealed.
Turns out, it was a set up. And it really pissed off Frank. It pissed him off so much, he ended up losing his temper, and reached for a conveniently well place grenade launcher.
To sum it up, Frank fucked up. Because now the three man dream team went up against well over 200 enemies. So, here you were. You layed multiple rounds out until slowly but surely all the white in the thermal sights faded.
"We are clear Belikov! We are heading to the Southeast ridge, hooking up there!" Mason said into the radio.
"We got you guys, don't even worry. Y/N here will keep you safe!" Belikov said, looking over at you and winking.
You felt yourself blush, and quickly turned back to the controls.
"Well, looks like Woods owes all of us a drink after this shit show. You are sleeping on the couch tonight!" Adler yelled.
"Hey fuck you, I'll sleep there with your mom!" Frank retorted.
Man, the conversations between them never got old. You loved the time spent with the team.
You and Belikov pulled the helicopter over the ridge, where the team was going to hook up. You got up from the cockpit, and readied three a long, safety rope with three hookup points for the boys.
You dropped it over and it fell. You watched as they all attached, and you hit the botton for the rope to start slowly retracting.
You made sure they got in one by one, for the safety of everyone. You went back up to the co pilot seat and strapped in.
"Belikov, we are clear! Boys, headphones on!" You shouted.
They all put the headphones on, and started to relax a little.
"Good job as my helper today, Y/N. Soon, you'll be able to fly by yourself. And when that day comes, you'll feel so full and accomplished you'll burst! And that'll be the day I take you out for party." Belikov said, flashing you a dazzling smile.
"Well thank you, Dimitri. And you better! We've talked about this since I first started flying!" You said, Watching the skys.
"Of course, anything for you. You are amazing in everyway possible." He winked at you.
You felt like you were in a daze, until you heard a familiar, yet worrying ding. You immediately sighed, knowing exactly what that ding met.
"Fuck, of course! Dimitri I thought you said you filled up before we left!" You said.
Belikov shot you a "oh shit I completely forgot face" and shrugged.
"The beauty of Adler's face had me distracted. I must have forgotten." He said.
"Finally, someone that appreciates this handsome face." Adler mumbled to himself.
"Well, what now? We'll never make it past the summit if we don't fuel up!" Mason cried.
You turned, looking back at them.
"What happens now, is either Dimitri or I have to go outside and hang off the ledge. While doing that, one of us will have to quickly connect the emergency fuel so it can atleast get us back to a drop zone." You spoke calmly, turning to him.
"But, since Belikov did it last time, it's my turn. I will go do this real quick, prepare for a stop at a fueling station. It looks like I'm reading one about 20 clicks North." You said, slipping on gear.
"Y/N, are you sure about this? I can do it while you fly, come now. Don't be stupid, nyet!" Belikov said.
You looked back, and gave him a thumbs up.
"No, I can do it. It's only fair, don't worry I got this. It'll be quick and easy!" You said, slipping an emergency parachute on just in case.
Adler, Woods, and Mason all watched as you geared up, stepping towards the opening of the heli.
"Y/N, your fuckin' nuts. Do you need any help?" Woods questioned.
You looked back at him, and nodded yes. He got up and came over to you.
"I need you to hold onto my feet until I tell you to let go. I need to start off with a good grip, or else I'll go splat." You said.
He nodded, and you went prone. You hung halfway out, and grabbed onto the support handles. Woods grabbed your feet and secured you.
You clipped your belt to the safety clamp and gave Woods a 'hold steady' hand signal. But, to him it apparently looked like a thumbs up. So, out of routine, he carefully let your feet go.
Immediately, the strong winds pulled your body out of the side, and left you hanging by your harness. The wind whipped and slashed at your skin like tiny, ice cold daggers as you desperately tried to reach for the handles.
Everyone on board started freaking out. Belikov went to make an emergency landing, but there were too many trees. He looked and looked for the best spot possible, and finally spotted a clearing.
You were screaming, yelling and crying. You felt the harness behind to tick and tear. It was going to bust at the seams at any moment, and you were still in the air.
You hung from the clip in the middle of your chest, trying to use your feet to kick back to the side.
Adler was trying to reach you with his arm, but it wasn't happening. You were just out of reach by a few feet. You were out of options.
"Y/N!!! Hang on, we almost have you!!" Mason shouted, quickly throwing together a rope to secure you with.
"What the hell did you do idyot?? I can't land, we are right over Soviet territory!" Belikov wretched out.
He dropped lower to land, but not fast enough. By time he dropped almost enough, is when your harness finally tore straight in half. The clip broke from the force, and you dropped straight down, backwards.
You screamed as you felt the force of the fall practically crush you. You were able to turn to your stomach, and quickly reach for the string used for the parachute.
You fumbled to find out, but when you did you yanked. Relief swept over you when it deployed, and slowly descended down to a platform.
"Her chute deployed, but it's heading straight to the middle of that warehouse it looks like!" Mason yelled.
Belikov channeled your radio, worry racing through him.
"Y/N? Y/N can you hear this? If so, I landed just a few clicks West of you. This is heavily guarded compound!" Belikov spoke into it.
You landed with a thud, and you quickly switched it on, ripping off the vest. You quickly took cover behind a fallen log, looking all around at your surroundings.
"I can see, and that little stunt just sent out a whole fucking search party. They have dogs, please tell me you have a plan." You said, finally throwing the vest to the ground.
Adler came on the radio next.
"Y/N, the best thing for you to do is to try and sneak around to the West side of the compound. We are going to push to you so you'll be safe. Do NOT draw any attention to you. Meet me at the blue warehouse." Was what he said.
"Blue warehouse, got it." Was all you said, clicking it off. You reached for a sharp looking rock you found on the ground, and got up to slowly look around.
You determined the best path to the warehouse, and set off. You were hurt, scared, and shaking. You could feel the adrenaline move through your body, and you almost couldn't think.
You weren't mad at Woods, you knew it was an accident. But right now.....All you wanted was to be in the arms of Dimitri Belikov. You decided now, after you got back to the heli you were going to say how you felt.
You were ready, and nearly dying really helped you decide. You just hoped he felt the same way.
Meanwhile, back with Belikov he was ready to kill. He assembled his trusty AK-47 and was ready to full send it to you. His heart was in a panic, he felt like he was going to have a heart attack.
"Belikov, Y/N is going to be just find. Adler will go get her, and then you'll get us home. Everything will work out, I promise." Mason said, trying to get Belikov to calm down.
Belikov looked to Mason with tears in his eyes. He couldn't stand the though of you out there, alone with no weapon. But knowing you, he knew you found something. That's what he loved about you, and many other things.
"I know, but she is worth a lot to me. I love her." Belikov sobbed.
Mason picked up on his distress, and he opened his arms for Belikov.
Belikov accepted the hug, and Mason patted his back.
"This will be over in a few minutes. Adler and Y/N will be back in no time, I promise." Was what Mason said.
Meanwhile, Frank fueled up the heli. The plan was to pick you up, and book it back home. Nobody wanted to be here more than they had to be.
Back with you, you approached a small fire. Around the fire was a few enemies, asleep. One was in a chair, the other on the ground, and the last against a barrell, hat pulled over his eyes.
You went to step around the group and take a right, but you smacked right into the frame of an old truck. This ended up setting off the panic alarm. You dove behind another old car and held still, as you heard them all shoot up from slumber.
You heard guns cock, and your heart sank. You swallowed hard, and leaned your head back against a car, looking up. They all started looking around, you heard the footsteps.
You fully accepted that you were doing to die. How the hell were you supposed to fight four people off with a sharp rock, while they had full automatic weapons.
You felt no hope, until you saw familiar sunglasses. Adler sat up on the ridge above you, waving you to follow him. Your eyes went wide, but you moved when he signaled.
That was, until you ran right into a person. You looked up at him, and he began to yell in Russian. He pulled his gun on you, but you tackled him quickly. You subdued him somehow, and grabbed his AK.
But you and Adler both spotted a flare in the distance. The screaming of the base alarm system filled your ears.
"Y/N, let's go! Just run, we are right up here!" Adler yelled, taking your hand.
You both sprinted full speed up the ridge side, with the entire army base on your heels. Adler radioed in, and finally you saw the heli in the distance.
"Be ready to go! We have the entire base on our ass, we're about 100 feet from you!" Is what Adler shouted.
You heard the blades begin to spin, it was ready to go. You both gave it all you had ad bullets zipped and flew past your head at incredible speed.
You came to the last few steps, and booked it. You both dove into the side, and Mason slammed it closed. The helicopter took off at full speeds, while bullets hit the side, making a panging sound.
You huffed and puffed on the ground, completely spread out. You suddenly felt arms around you, and a head in your neck.
It was Belikov, you recognized his smell from anywhere. You looked at him, lifting his face. You gave him a big smile and wiped his tears away.
"Hey its alright, I'm here. I'm safe, thanks to Doc." You chuckled.
Belikov took your face in his hands, and tucked your stray hair away.
"I thought I lost you. Y/N, I love you. I realized that tonight, after thinking you were dead. I always have, and will." He said, a tear falling from his eye.
You choked up, and rested your forehead against his. Your hand stroked his face, as you leaned in.
"And the same as I, Dimitri. Now, kissing me you fool." You said with a laugh.
You locked lips. It felt like fireworks and sparklers went off in your brain. It was everything you ever wanted.
After pulling away from the kiss, Belikov pulled you to his chest, and held you there all the way back. He looked down at you, and lost it laughing.
"What's so funny huh?" You questioned.
"No offense Y/N but, you call that sneaky? Tripping right into an enemy?"

Full Biography:
On October 31st, 1994 Mr. and Mrs. Aldrich gave birth to a set of twins: Dove and Delphine. At age four, Delphine was brushing the hair of her Barbie dolls and Dove was biting their heads off. At age six, Delphine was sharing the stickers off her lunchbox and Dove was chasing her classmates around with a stick. By age 12, Delphine had her first boyfriend and Dove was finding it difficult to make a friend. It wasn't that their parents hadn't made an effort with the both of them. Dove and Delphine came from humble beginnings, the twins nestling their home in the worst part of town, but their parents always tried their best to give them what they could. Where it came easy with Delphine, it was difficult with Dove. The twins couldn't be further apart, an exemplary trait that took root on their birthdays. Where Delphine wanted pink balloons, a large strawberry cake, and a party for all of her friends, Dove wanted chocolate cake and blood and gore on Halloween night.
By the time they turned 18, the twins went two separate ways. Delphine met a guy who she fell heads over heels for and Dove went to a four year university, major undeclared. Her time in university was a short lived tale. It was in high school where she picked up her passion for music, but in college was where it really flourished. Dove would practice in the courtyard, praised in the way she never felt in her youth, but by the time she had decided her major, Delphine would call and beg for a savior. Dropping out was never her intent; it was meant to be a quick run: to deal with her sisters boyfriend and return for her Calculus test Monday morning. The weekend trip dragged on for three months, and by the time it was over, Dove was too far behind on her studies to ever return.
Too far in debt with no backup plan, Dove to a bus to New York and sold herself to a band that was hiring. The thrill of the stage great while it lasted, but she had a talent and her bandmates did not. They got her started, enough to get her settled, in a closet sized apartment in the best side of the city. She lived off scraps, but fought for what she wanted. It was an eat or be eaten world, and Dove always had a bite. She met both beautiful and ugly people, faces she'd forget, but one took her out to Paris and later LA, where she scrambled up her things, and moved on to the next city. LA was a sunshine nightmare for a girl dressed in black, but it was there she made her footing, finding the band that would forever stick.
King Hit's success was better than anything she could have wanted from a four year university. They toured from state to state, writing lyrics on the road between. Dove thrived on stage, the admiration fuel to her fire. As their tour settled down and their first album released, Dove found herself happy in the small family they had created. As their time on the road came to an end, they settled into Crescent Harbor to settle their next album. A small town was just what they needed to slip away from their adoring fans, tucked in the corners of Washington state. To Dove, it feels like deja vu, the town similar to their family home just outside of Philadelphia. She calls her parents twice a week, but settles into the downtown to remind her of the city.

New Beginnings
Cohen and Elias were simply awestruck by their new surroundings. It was so different from the northern lands. But at the same time it already started to feel like home to them. There were so many new feelings and things to see they couldn't wait to explore everything once they were settled in. They also had so many questions bubbling up inside that they wanted to ask Luther, but they held it in for now. The two figured that there would be plenty of time for that later.
Aldrich, meanwhile, kept close to his beloved wife the whole time. Though everything seemed so different and welcoming...he was still a little on edge for the move. Granted it could also be a bit of his stubbornness lingering. He wanted the best for his family, there was no doubt about that. However, there were still some concerns and worries that refused to leave him completely. He also supposed that deep down, he was a little afraid of being betrayed once more and dealing with more heartache for himself and his beloved family.
On the other hand Karlene was absolutely fascinated with what was to be her new home. Her new life with Luther and her family. She held onto Luther's arm most of the time as he led them around. Karle, much like her little brothers, could not wait to walk around and explore her new home. She was also curious to meet more of Luther's Clan. After all she was going to be a part of it soon. It was also safe to say that Karle already felt like she belonged and could not help but smile the whole time and thank him once more for doing this for them.
And Amelinda?
Well, she was quietly taking things in. Her mind was partly distracted. Part of her was trying to adjust for the new feelings and sensations she was starting to experience. The other part was admittedly still thinking about Dietrich. Wondering if trying to call to him through the stone of her ring would let him find her here. However, she was still trying to tell herself that right now, she should be focusing more on what her family is going through at the moment. That she will be one of the more steadying factors to getting all of them settled in. Once her family was settled into their new home and at peace then, and only then, could she really start focusing on other things.
After they reached their new house, they were visited by a small little welcoming party a little while later. It was a woman with a warm smile who had a little girl in one arm and a basket hanging off the other and three more children in tow. A young boy who was likely older than Cohen and Elias, who was holding the hands of two other little girls older than the one being carried by the woman. Each of those girls holding little packages themselves.
“Greetings everyone,“ she said softly. “My children and I wanted to welcome you to your new home. And bring some welcoming gifts, refreshments mostly,“ she said and laughed softly. “I’m Lorena, and these are my four little darlings. My only son and the eldest, Salem...”
“Hello!“ he greeted enthusiastically, quite excited to meet some new people, and winked since he was not about to let go of his sisters’ hands yet.
“On his right is my oldest girl, and second oldest, Amalie. Although you’ll sometimes hear her be called by her second name Nyla,” his mother continued. After her dear dove said hello she spoke again. “On Salem’s left is my third darling, Cassandra.“
“Hi hi! Mama made yum yums for you!“ Cassie said and then giggled. Her mother chuckled softly.
“And then here in my arm, being a little shy, is my littlest darling, Melody,” she said and looked more at her youngest child. “Are you going to say hi, my littlest dove?“ she asked softly. Melody lifted her head a little from her mother’s shoulder and looked at her a moment. Little pink and red question marks of light appeared briefly around Melody’s head as she seemed to think about it. Slowly she turned in her mama’s arm to look at the new people and tilted her head at them.
“H-hiiii??“

“ what’s your biggest secret ?”
“My biggest secret?” he laughs and only those who knew him best would know it was a tell, something confident to cover for the reactions he did not want seen. He thinks of white lines gone bad, of parties where he’s egged people on too far. Everyday he pushes people to drink their worries away and he knows where that leads. Peddling poison and thrills without shame. When he lives that way, it should have been obvious what sins he carried, tucked away where no one could see. "For that, turtledove, you’d have to offer me something more. It has to be worth. I don’t go trading away my secrets on a whim.”
