i know i said bedtime but @txnichtgut just made me think about the interaction between jing yuan and dan heng after he fought yanqing and blade leaves  (  gonna use abbrieviations with names to keep personals away from this post  )

            i'm thinking about how . . . it wasn't dan feng in the shackling prison�� ,  but rather dan heng . . . that he was the one who served out his punishment in xianzhou before being exiled for his crimes that he doesn't remember WHAT of  .  that jing yuan knows dan HENG as dan FENG and continued to refer to him as such even when DH continued to correct JY that he wasn't him [DF] . . . that DH has always been DF  ,  just lacking memories  .              in accordance to this theory  (  which will now be kinda pivotal to how i write DH when it comes to interacting other  )    ,  DF underwent a MOLTING process that de-aged him . . . and basically wiped his memories  (  like if he went back in time and de-aged  ,  his memory of events transpired would not exist  )  as per the punishment given by the vidyadhara to appease the commission and the ten lords  .  he then served out his term in the shackling prison after molting and exiled as a favor from JY to an old friend, DF  ,  who had the wish to let himself  —  DH  —  to experience the outside world  (  like this strip  )  .              certainly means that BLADE wasn't wrong in recognizing DH as DF because he technically is DF  ;  just that blade has no idea that DH doesn't have any memories of what happened before the molting  .  certainly explains JY's reaction to DH appearing and continuous reference to and treatment of DH as an old friend  .  of the THREE  ,  only ONE person knows the full truth of what happened to DF  ;  of the THREE  ,  only two have a clear idea of what DF did  .               bottom line is that DH had to carry the burdens left by DF and even if he had paid his dues through prison time and trying to keep his word by not entering xianzhou after being exiled . . . the fact that he has to continue carrying the burdens of his predecessor with little idea of what happened . . . would death of DF not be kinder and stop this cycle  ??  DH is consistently haunted by his past . . .             will DH ever find out and will Blade ever come to understand what happened and why DH pretends to not know what he did . . . and what kept JY from really speaking about it  ??  out of respect for DF and not wanting DH to know and keep him free from the shackles of the past  ??  something else holding JY back and that it just wasn't beneficial to let them know  ??  will DH ever come to find out . . .

From the list I posted yesterday, I'm gonna start with the Dan Heng x Reader MDZS inpsired fic first.

Characters and plot won’t be as accurate to the inspired plot. Especially for this story which involves a lot of adults and teens an not much children.  So many characters are left out simply due to the fact that a lot of npcs either didn’t fit the role, or were far too young for my standards.

I also ended up having to lean more onto the live action version than the novel/manhua version. Not all characters casted are exactly accurate too, as there are more traumatized than non-traumatized.

I literally looked up all the different alliance of Xianzhou just to see which would be Wen sect. So here’s the reasoning.

Luofu: They don’t really have a specialty. Their main goal is to take out abundance cult.

Yaoqing: Much like Luofu, don’t really have a specialty. Aggressive and good at martial arts.

Zhuming: Their main export specialty is porcelain. According to Fandom wiki, the people here love playing with fire.

Yuque: They export jade abaci, thus making me think they’ll be wealthy due to it and technologically advanced/smart.

Fanghu: Exports a lot of marine things. Though it would make since to have Dan Heng come from here, but it would not make sense for other characters like March and Jing Yuan to have been born here. And it’s the closest in description to Yunmeng.

Xuling: Not much is really stated about this place on Fandom Wiki, but it looks like a place of law. But piggybacking off of the fact that not much is written about this area, Imma just gonna liken this area to Burial Mounds.

Idk why I stressed so much trying to make it 100% accurate 💀

Q: how long will it take for you to complete a request?

A: requests are my favourite things to do so usually i’ll stop working on whatever i’m doing to focus on it. depending on how long it is, it may take me a from a day to a week or more. however, i often lose interest and motivation if a fic takes too long for me so apologies in advance if i give up on your request. 𑁍

A: it’s just me. though sometimes, with gruelling tasks such as reworking the texting parts of my old fics, my sister (8 yrs old) will help me out. she’s a very nice kid. 𑁍

A: i post whenever i have a completed fic and want to post it. usually, I’ll post 1-2 times every week. though, this is not always consistent. usually i’ll post twice back to back and then leave for a while. and especially since the school year is starting soon, this upload schedule may be even more inconsistent. i struggle a lot with burn out and have abandoned many projects. 𑁍

A: i like doing creative things. drawing, writing, etc. i also like to read and i’m learning to play the flute! i’m hoping to apply for a local school art program for singing and visual arts when i reach high school. 𑁍

Q: what languages do you read and speak?

A: i’m most fluent in english as i was born in canada. i can speak vietnamese pretty well but i have difficulty understanding dialects and accents. i’m also not very good at reading it either. (hong kong) cantonese i can hold a conversation in (mostly) but i have a lot of difficulty with it and can’t read most characters, since i only speak it with my dad. 𑁍
