It's a quiet evening in the lounge and Cassius takes what he assumes a bathroom break for Cherry's friend as an excuse to lean against the bar to speak to her.

"How'd that art thing go then?" He asks, referencing the art show she'd hosted weeks earlier, one of which he still didn't understand, but he'd pretend to for the sake of speaking to well, her.

Cassius glances sideways as Cherry speaks to him, he'd only made it through the door as an offering to one of his latest tinder squeezes, but now he was here she'd wandered off on his own and he was stood looking at..

( well, he wasn't really sure what he was looking it, art had never been his forte. )

"Cherry." He begins, pausing for a moment as he attempts to pick his words carefully, his finger raising to point at one of the pieces. "It looks aight' you're talented and shit but what the fuck is it supposed to be?"

"Thanks for coming, I really appreciate it—" And heaven knew that she did. Having all her new pieces out on display like this felt like sharing a piece of her soul with the world. It's why her arms kept wrapping around her body in some kind of protection, shielding herself. "If you see anything that speaks to you.. you know.. I'm right here."

"I asked Lucky to be my best man," Will revealed to Lemie over their morning cup of coffee at the Cottage. Normally he liked to keep their private and work lives seperate but there wasn't enough hours in the day lately. Wedding planning came third to day to day life and managing the Cottage together.

Picking Lucky to be his best man had been the easiest wedding decision Will had to make. Will thought a moment before adding, "Do you think we should have Theo as flower girl? I think Lucky would like that."

"I know Cherry will be up there with us because when is she not hovering around," Will joked as he put his coffee cup down. "I think Lori should be too, but of course- it's your decision."

Lori was a hard one to get a read on, unlike her twin brother. It was a verbal sparring match every time they saw each other, but thankfully, Lemie had given him plenty of practice when it came to talking and taking shit from a Lewis woman. There were moments of sweetness from her, however, it was wise to never point them out.

"We should probably also talk about.. your parents." Given the recent issues that Lemie had with her mother, it was still a touchy subject. Like pressing on a healing bruise. "It's up to you if you want them there." Personally, Will could do without having Mabel there, judging and passing snide comments to anyone who would listen. Lemie's dad was fine. Will had met him once or twice but it was hard to feel any kind of affection towards the people who had raised Lemie.

Which brought him to the final member of the Lewis family. "And Lee. Definitely not invited," he tacked on the end. Another easy decision. Lee would turn the whole thing into a circus, with him at the very center. As far as the eldest sibling was concerned, it was his world and everyone else was just living it. Will didn't consider himself a violent man, but he did think that Lee could do with a good punch to the face to bring him back to reality.

Leo usually knew how to comport himself in a space that housed art — he resigned himself to ambling slowly, keeping his distance, looking respectfully — but this was different. Cherry's studio was empty apart from the two of them, and Leo was sat criss-cross in front of her 'On Your Knees' piece, an elbow propped up on his knee, head resting against his fist as he took the whole thing in.

He was entirely sure how long he'd been like that, only that it felt like it'd been a while when he finally sat back a little, shaking his head. "Wow," he said gently. "Wow. Dude, like, I'm really sorry I missed the showing, but shit, it was worth the wait." He leaned in again to examine the mass of wire that accented the space between figure's right forearm and hip. "God, I can't even imagine how long these must've taken you. Do you have a buyer for this one yet? Shit, if I had the money, I'd take it myself."
