"My arms?" He supposed he was pretty physically different from most of the citizens that inhabited this city. But his right buster arm tended to stick out a little more with the red energy indicator.

"Er...It's a gun: in simple terms. It doesn't seem to be working, though."

Well, there's nothing like a small setback to tear one's attention from the awe of this place. It more than earns its noteworthy reputation, and she'd quite love to see a show here, but...!

The princess hesitates, hands brought close to her chin in both consideration and concern.

"An hour... Um, is that even enough time to memorize everything? I suppose it depends on what there is to memorize, but...hmm."

How coincidental that she's done this sort of thing before, but it was with help. A significant deal of help that probably isn't available here! Still, it lends a little bit of familiarity...

"If they're expecting people to wing it as replacements, then maybe it won't be so bad?"

Even though it was meant to be for a cover, going to a vocational school with a bias on theatre like Mercutio High did give Aschlyn an edge on acting. One would say she's quite good in deceiving others, though she herself would say it's 'convincing' rather than the former.

It just so happened that the actors playing the villain and hero in a show at the Theatre of Calliope sprained their ankle and were desperate to find a replacement quickly.

"I don't mind...but the show is starting in an hour? That's quite a big shoe to fill so quickly. What do you think?"

"Dr.Pennington is a little old school. I don't think she gets into Chirp arguments all that often. She's pretty busy drafting, all things considered." He sort of defended his mom? Mostly by insulting her backhandedly, but it wasn't anything short of the truth. "The gun has a purpose, y'know. It's handy for breaking apart asteroids before they're pulled into our gravity and come crashing down."

"So they still crash: they just do less damage when they're broken."

"Not to infodump or anything. But I'm inclined to educate, my apologies." Sheepishly, the robot master held up one hand, "Name's Meteoriteman, by the way, a little on the nose: I know. And you might be?"

An arm that was a gun? Sounded pretty high-tech to her. And by high tech, Aschlyn meant something that was usually seen in a video game.

"Its not something I see everyday outside of a cartoon...or a crazy tech 'genius' who has nothing better to do than to get into fights on social media, so its a bit surprising. Still pretty impressive though."
