Overview

To start the rules off, this is a SELECTIVE Dan Heng&& Dan Feng RP Blog. Meaning, I only interact with MUTUALS. I will not write with anyone under 18, for my own comfort- any NSFW content will only be written with muns above 21. Before you send in an ask prompt expecting a response, please check if we’re mutuals. Please check that we’re mutuals before liking any starter call I place out. Mutuals have access to my Discord, Nintendo ID/FC, and any other online social or gaming accounts. I have severe social anxiety and I absolutely will not have the capability to approach you or even respond to anything you send to me ( via DM or otherwise )— so it’ll probably be deleted or just sit there un-responded to. Please— PLEASE. Check first..

Do not reblog a thread if you are not involved. I cannot stress this enough. A like is alright and is sometimes appreciated. Thanks for liking my thread pal. Please do not for the love of all things good in the world reblog it though. I am OC friendly, though selectively. If I honestly have no idea how my muse would interact or feel about yours, then there’s a high chance that I will not want to interact. Though, most OCs I’ve seen are quite lovely and I’d be so pleased to give them love.

Threads

I want all the building of muses and relationships as I can. Cover me in threads. Just do it. Don’t even ask, just do it! I reserve the right to drop a thread or multiple if I feel like I can’t continue it or I can’t find a way to respond that would stay within reason of how my muse would respond. Of course, you have this right to use on me as well. I would ask that you at least tell me if you’re dropping it. I seriously won’t bite, but I know that I myself might not say anything because of social anxiety.. So, just do what you can when you can and expect the same from me.

I am the slowest roleplayer in existence. Though not very often, I literally can take up to 7 months to get back to something decently simple. Muses can be very flaky on me, or the general desire to write can be gone for a period. Along with that, I do have work and other things outside of roleplaying that I also have to give my attention. So, if you are wanting to thread, please understand that I can take a very, very long time to get back to you. Despite this, though, if it’s been longer than a week and I have not replied, you are more than welcome to come and ask to make sure that I have it drafted and on the list of things to get to. As well as, if you really want a thread responded to, or bumped up in the order of replies, feel free to ask. Though, don’t do so constantly, if you can help it.

Do not worry about icons- the inclusion or non-inclusion of them. The simplicity of them or the elaborate nature of them. They are not a make or break.

Do not give me one sentence responses(unless crack/that is the entire thread/post), especially if I have given you more than two paragraphs. As long as you make an effort, you do not have to match length for length. I often times will make things longer (mostly by accident) because I enjoy putting my muses’ thoughts into it or setup a thread/the backstory/information leading up to- so I do not expect you to go one-to-one with threads.

Memes && Ask Prompts

Here comes that boi– oh shIT WADDUP— Okay listen—- Ask prompts/Memes are super fun and are sometimes easier to reply to && get out than typical threads. Prompts/Inbox tends to be my priority due to the fact that I am quite forgetful and if I do not have that notification on the inbox stating there is something there I will forget about it- and I don't like leaving the lil notification on it. So if you have a thread you’re waiting on but still want some sort of interactions going on between responses, feel free to send in one of the prompts I reblog. If you send in a prompt and I respond to it, you are more than welcome to respond to it on a separate post and turn it into a thread! Or even just respond to it– Whichever tickles your fancy. Not all prompts need to be, or will be, turned into a thread. It will depend on if there is anywhere the idea can go or be expanded upon, or whether my muse will be able to go farther. I don’t expect a response to prompts, so don’t feel like you have to- but don’t hesitate if you feel a strong urge to do so! I also don’t send in prompts expecting to make them threads 100% of the time, so I do not expect the same of others.

Unless explicitly stated and/or quite obvious sent in asks are for Dan Feng (ie. individuals only around during Dan Feng's time), all asks will be assumed to be for Dan Heng.

While I don't enforce reblog karma, it's still appreciated to send one in, or don't just use me as your prompt source every single time and never send ANY in.

Godmodding/Powerplay

Just—- Don’t. This is a given, but I will still state it. Do not. I write for my muse, not yours ( vise-versa ).

However! If there comes an instance where something that might come along those lines of godmod, just clear it with me first. For instance, such as knocking his spear out of his hand and leaving him no room to go grab it. That is absolutely 100% okay!! Just make sure to ask me first. Communication is important.

Shipping

I am just as much of a shipping garbage can as the next person. However, chemistry is very important. Though, I do have biases on certain ships pertaining to my muse; our muses capability to interact is slightly more important. Also, I have no control over my muse’s romantic feelings. But, I’m also a sucker for one-sided loves, rejected feelings, platonic relationships, sibling-like relationships, rival relationships, etc.

This blog is multi-ship. However, is ship-exclusive (unless discussed between mun’s, and that all mun’s involved are okay with duel-muse-shipping). As an example: I will ship and write Dan Feng with one Xingxing, and Dan Feng with Jing Yuan. However, the Xingxing and Jing Yuan cannot ship with another Dan Feng. I ask that my partners also be ship-exclusive with me. I don’t want to see my partner shipping with another version of my muse. My muse && I will consider it cheating and will drop the ship immediately.

My insecurities prevent me from duel-muse-shipping, and will upset me if my partner does so. It will make me feel as if I’m competing for a ship, or struggle with my partner comparing which dynamic they like more, or who’s portrayal they like more. I just cannot and will not do it- either to myself or to someone else. If you do not intend to be ship-exclusive with me and the specific muse/ship, then do not expect to write a ship with me. I also ask that you are either at least semi-active OR discuss them often through dms. Non-Thread interactions and mun to mun compatibility are also important. I am a slow writer, so I can’t demand someone be at my beck-and-call, that would be unfair to you. I do like to scream about random ideas and toss music videos and random memes that I find applicable to the ship and muses. So at least be ooc ranting available if not super active. I’ve had too many ships start with people then they stop writing and/or stop talking to me, and with being a ship-exclusive, then the ship just falls apart and then the muse is left lonely. I would like to avoid repeating that.

OC's are, obviously, seen as seperate people, so more than one OC I will ship with. I however ask that you do not ship with another Dan Heng if we are writing them together and in a romantic nature.

Caelus and Stelle will be considered as separate muses. I see them as two different personalities/ways you can write them per mun, so they will not apply to this rule. So to clarify, only one Caelus and one Stelle will be shipped with, and both can be shipped with at the same time.

I do not intend to ship Dan Heng with Blade. While possible that my stance can change depending on development, I personally just do not enjoy the ship and see Dan Heng as wanting to distance himself from his past, and that includes Blade/how Blade seems to be solely for vengeance (for now) against Dan Feng, while he is no longer that person. I do, however, enjoy Dan Feng and Xingxing.

Crack threads do not apply to the ship-exclusive rule. Have fun when goofing around.

Plotting

I personally don’t mind if threads go solidly by winging it- makes them all the more enjoyable to do because you don’t know what to expect. But, I also enjoy a plotted out thread. These threads tend to go more smoothly; because then I know who to make sure things go in the direction one of us/both of us want it to go. So if we’re mutuals, feel free to come in to my DM and ask about plotting.

AUs && Crossovers

Holy nuggets I love AUs??? I just melt because so many more beautiful things to let my babies roam free in. I love making AUs and I typically don’t get a chance to actually RP within the AUs I think of– so feel free to hit me up with any of them. I don’t do too well with crossovers, unfortunately. It’s always a ‘oh hey you know *insert mutual character here* yeah? so how do you know them? oh really? well i did this *insert thing* with them’ kind of thread and I’m honestly just.. so over it? I mean if it can be pushed to something not along those lines I’ll probably be up for giving it a try.

Following/FollowBacks

Since this is a SELECTIVE blog, it may take me some time to go through and decide if I want to interact && follow you. That doesn’t mean that if I don’t follow you that I don’t think you write terribly or have a bad portrayal. No not at all. I just don��t want to spread myself so thin that I end up crashing. But, sometimes my writing style clashes with others, or I may simply not like any extra things you post on your blog ( for example: too many prompts/in such a small period of time WITHOUT any ic character posts looks too messy for me and I just personally don’t like seeing so much of it.. ) Also, the notifications tab isn’t the greatest, so I typically go to my follower page and scan through the list about once a week or two just to make sure I see who follows me. If you have a sideblog that you want to interact with me on, please let me know that it’s a sideblog. Say, for instance, that your RP blog is a sideblog to your personal, or to a different RP blog that has no relation to any of the fandoms I have muses for present, then I won’t even give the blog a second glance. Because I might be absolutely wanting to interact with you, but I just won’t know if it’s a sideblog unless told.

NSFW && Triggers

I really don’t mind smut-nsfw things?? As long as it’s not like.. pictures of real life people (pornography excluded)- like an OnlyFans post style/selfies or the porn bots vibe.. you know. Text posts, drawn smut-nsfw, and those types of things doesn't bother me seeing on the dash. I still ask that you tag them but ??? I don’t really care nor mind. As for the OTHER nsfw things ( gore, blood, violence, etc. )– I’m pretty open to them? None of them really bother me, unless it’s like.. pictures. …. Yikes.

I am down for writing NSFW threads/smut, but I will not write such if you are under 21. Such threads will be placed under readmores.

I do have clinically diagnosed severe social anxiety and depression, so there may be times where I suddenly vanish or take a break without warning. I am not the best at initiating things, but I am getting better at it.

Third dock. Second to last galleon on the left. As she bid her escort adieu, Priscilla boarded the great ship. How magnificent, she thought, gazing up in awe… that is until she saw its crew. The most bohemian looking group of sailors she’d ever set eyes on. With pursed lips and raised eyebrow, she was more miffed that none had even come to greet her yet than their appearance. How discourteously uncivilized! It wasn’t every day to have the treat of one of Europe’s great opera soprano onboard. (The poor dear, the thought had not yet even occurred to her that she was on the mistaken ship!)

Finally, at least two ignoramuses noticed her. Though in unconventional attire, they were British - fortunately! Before either of the pair could hardly speak a word, she handed her bags to the stout one and adjusted the fur capelet around her neck before linking her arm with the lankier one. “Good evening, gentlemen. If you could kindly take those to my quarters and direct me to your Captain - who is expecting me - so that I may personally thank him."

The two shared quizzical expressions. And she, growing impatient took out her fan and swatted it, urging them both to proceed. “Come, come, please. I don’t have all night!”

It didn’t seem they had much choice than to oblige. After a knock on the door to the Captain’s quarters, they entered - or really, she entered, with the two bumbling ones clamoring behind her, “Sorry, Sir. Captain!” the men called out, “There is a — ah, a um, Missus? Miss — here to see you?”

Rolling her eyes as she left the imbeciles, the diva in question confidently approached the Captain with a courteous smile and extended her expensively ringed, gloved hand - expecting the usual greeting any gentleman would give to so glamorous a woman as she.

"Captain Crusoe! Enchanté! I bring greetings from your comrade Captain Robinson, and I personally desire to thank you and your comrade’s extended generosity to have me aboard on such short notice."

Can’t get over her

Word count: 5010

Genre: A little angst with a little fluff

Pairing: Natasha x fem!reader

Warnings: Little bit of swearing (let me know if I need to add more)

Summary: Reader has always had a bit of a crush on Natasha but it’s unrequited. She lets Tony and Wanda take her to a club and Nat starts acting differently.

A/N: This is not a request, I just felt like writing this story. I’m super nervous about this because I’m not sure if it’s very good but I thought I would post it in case anyone is interested. This is my first x reader fic and first Natasha/Marvel fic so I wasn’t sure how to write it. That being said I hope you enjoy, and if you do, I’m always open to take requests! Btw this is completely unimportant but even though this fic is a medium length, it’s the longest story I’ve actually completed so I feel proud of myself for that!

“Y/n!” A voice rang out loudly disrupting your sleep.

“Ughhhh,” you groaned, “what do you want?” Instead of an answer the door to your room gets thrown open loudly, allowing all the light to come in. You bury yourself under the blankets, partly to stop your eyes from seeing the light and partly to hide the fact that you were wearing Avengers themed pyjamas.

“Rise and shine sweetheart!” You hear Tony’s voice mock. Reluctantly you poke your head out of the blankets just enough so you can see and squint at your best friend/mentor just in time to see him rush off, probably to wake up another unfortunate avenger. When you first joined you never expected to like Tony at all, much less consider him your best friend or look up to him. You had heard rumors of him being inappropriate with women and while his jokes most certainly were and you did occasionally catch him staring at your boobs he never did anything creepy to make you uncomfortable and inside he was a good man, way more so than you expected.

All that in mind you decide to get out of bed to see why Tony woke you up because he (probably) wouldn’t wake you up for no reason. Taking a minute to change out of the avenger pyjamas and into some clothes as well as brush your hair you wander downstairs. On the way down you bump into Clint who unlike you has made absolutely no effort to look presentable and looks like he just rolled out of bed. You say a quick hello but he just grunts in return, not even looking at you. Inwardly laughing about how much Clint hates to be awake in the morning you continue downstairs to meet up with the rest of the avengers who are varying degrees of awake. Most seemed to be like you; awake and fairly alert but not happy about it. Clint was probably the most asleep and Tony the most awake considering he was practically bouncing off the walls. Looking around you see everyone except for Thor and Natasha. Thor wasn’t there very often because he wasn’t from earth and Natasha usually avoided group activities at all costs to your displeasure since you had a secret (not very secret) crush on the assassin.

“So why did you wake us up, at an ungodly hour may I add, and bring us down here?” You ask Tony, curious.

“That information is above your clearance level.” He replies somewhat sarcastically.

“Does anybody else know what is going on?” you ask. “Or did Tony wake me up for no reason, in which case I’m going back to bed.” They all shift guiltily on their feet except for Clint who seems to be still too tired to pay attention leading you to believe they are all up to something you wouldn’t like. Nobody answers your question so you glare around the room, your eyes landing on Steve. He almost squirms under your gaze and eventually seems to give in.

“I’m sorry Y/N, this wasn’t my idea and thinking back on it we probably shouldn’t-”

“We are giving you a makeover and finding you a date.” Tony cuts Steve off.

“Seriously??!??!??” You half shout. “What makes you think I want to go on some random date you guys set up? If I want to go on a date I can find one myself.”

“Y/N…” Wanda says softly, reminding you to stay calm.

“Don’t Y/n me,” you say, still angrily yet quieter, “I can find my own dates, thank you very much.” Tony gives a small snort of laughter in response to this.

“Sure you can kid. I mean it’s not like you haven’t been on a date in over two years. Or that you’re harboring a crush for our resident scary assassin that prevents you from dating others.” You glare at him but stay silent because all of what he said is true. In your head you excuse the not dating off as being busy because you are a hero yet almost everybody on the team is dating someone and it all seems to be working out fine.

“Look Y/n,” Tony says softly which is a rarity for him, “I know you wish something could happen between you and Romanoff but it hasn’t happened yet and likely never will. You need to get over her and back out there. Besides we weren’t planning on choosing your date for you, we were just planning to go clubbing later with you.”

“Ok,” you agree begrudgingly, “I’ll do it, I just don’t see the need to wake me up at 7 in the morning if we aren’t going out until tonight. Also does everybody need to be here right now?”

“I second that,” Clint says in a voice still rough from sleep, “just because I helped planning a little bit does not mean I had to wake up early to have this conversation. I’m going back to bed.”

Wanda rolls her eyes at him before turning to you, “No not everyone has to be here right now, Tony just got a little over excited. As for you, as we said we are giving you a makeover which means we have to go to the hair appointment I set up plus I was thinking we could go shopping since we almost never have time to. Besides Natasha gets back from her solo mission sometime later today, so we wanted to talk with you when she wasn’t around.”

“Ok,” you respond with a little bit of excitement, “when do we leave?”

“Right now! We can have brunch while we’re out!”

“Yes and then we can go get our nails done and gossip!” Tony says in a fake voice. Both you and Wanda turn to look at him exasperated. “Ok fine, maybe not but I am coming and we are gossiping. Also I need to find a good birthday present for Pepper’s birthday next week.”

“Well that’s good you’re coming because unless you want the same reaction as last year, you’re going to need a lot of help.” Wanda replies. You laugh a little as the three of you leave the tower, Wanda and Tony continuing their mock argument about Tony’s gift giving skills.

Five hours later and you severely regretted going along with their plan. You were already exhausted and still had so much to do before going clubbing. You had already bought an outfit plus a few others which wouldn’t be so bad except Wanda and Tony made you try on what you believed to be the whole store before they seemed satisfied with your look. You had also gotten your nails done and were currently finishing up a lovely brunch which consisted of waffles, maple syrup and some fruits. That would have been enjoyable if not for the fact that Tony and Wanda alternated between nagging you about not chipping a nail and teasing you about your pathetic love life. It was a well known fact in the tower that while they didn’t hate each other, Tony and Wanda didn’t usually get along well but that was probably for the best since together they were ruthless. They seemed to have decided that the time for brunch was over so sighing you followed them out of the restaurant after Tony paid the bill. That’s the one positive at least, all of it was free for you thanks to Tony.

Another five hours later and you could honestly say you were looking forward to the night more than you thought you would. You were currently looking in the mirror in your room and although usually you tended to be indifferent towards your body, sometimes even insecure, you had to admit that you looked pretty hot. The dress was in the perfect colour to bring out your eyes according to Wanda and although it was the perfect balance between classy and slutty, revealing a bit of skin and showing off your assets while still leaving it to the imagination. You also were carrying a black purse which matched your nails and shoes. Your makeup was perfectly done, naturally showing you beauty but adding a little extra glimmer. The thing you were most proud of however and the most noticeable change you had made was your hair. Before you had hair that when completely straight could reach your waist but now it was barely long enough to tuck behind your ears. When you first got to the hair salon you were planning on just trimming it and straightening in it but when you got in the chair something came over you and you just decided to chop it all off.

BANG! The door to your room barges open and Wanda comes flying in.

“Damn girl! You look hot as fuck!” You blush profusely at her words managing to stammer out a thank you. You have never been good at taking compliments because you always get a little shy and awkward.

Tony pokes his head around the doorframe and gives a whistle. “You are smoking hot Y/n, I mean if I didn’t have Pepper I would be all over you. You ready to go?” Not waiting for an answer he turns and starts towards the elevator. You follow but not before exchanging an eye roll with Wanda about Tony’s words. The elevator ride is short and smooth thanks to Tony’s engineering so you don’t have enough time to succumb to the urge of placing your hands on the bars and pushing while lifting your feet. The elevator beeps, Jarvis informing you that you’ve reached the ground level and the doors open. You step out ready to get on with your night but the sight of Natasha just back from a mission freezes you in your tracks.

“Hi,” you say lamely, “I thought you were supposed to get back earlier today?”

“We had some intel that wasn’t fully correct but luckily it didn’t take too long to fix. You look different, where are you heading off to?”

You glance at Tony and Wanda for help because for some reason you feel awkward telling her but they don’t seem to know what you want so you answer anyways. “We’re going clubbing, I’m kinda nervous since I haven’t been in awhile but Wanda helped me get ready-”

“Hey I helped too!”

You ignore Tony’s protest and continue to speak. “-and I think it should be fun. Also there will for sure be hot girls there which is always a plus.”

“Seems like it should be fun,” she responds in her monotone ‘I don’t care’ voice that you hate, “Good luck with the girls though, because your hair looked better long, I don’t like it like this.” You don’t usually get offended easily but you feel tears spring to your eyes at her comment. The only good part is that she doesn’t notice because she’s already walking away, swaying her hips, either not knowing or caring that she hurt you.

Tony and Wanda rush over to you. “Oh sweetie,” Wanda comforts while wrapping an arm around you, “don’t listen to her, that’s not true at all!”

“Then why would she say it?” You ask, careful to keep your voice from cracking because you hated showing when you were upset.

“I don’t know and honestly I don’t give a fuck.” Tony replies. “Just don’t think about it too much, the whole point of this night is to get over her anyways.” You give him a small smile at that. Tony is good with words which translates into being good at comforting people. You know he’s right so although the comment is still upsetting you do your best to push it out of your mind. Locking arms with both Tony and Wanda you pull them towards the door and into the waiting limo. You couldn’t help but smile at the way Tony ruffled your hair as you stepped in or how Wanda kept running her fingers over her arm in an attempt to be reassuring. You had the best friends.

The ride over seemed way shorter than it was supposed to be and before you knew it the limo was stopped to let the three of you out. You take a deep breath and wipe your sweaty palms on your dress before smiling and stepping out after Tony and Wanda. Nobody seems to have noticed the three of you yet which was a good thing. Being Avengers Tony and Wanda were pretty much celebrities and often got swarmed by groups of fans. Technically you were an avenger as well but like Natasha and Clint it was only because you were a Shield so while you did get recognized it wasn’t as often and only tended to happen if you were with other avengers. You make your way inside, splitting from Tony and Wanda at the door. The plan was for them to go to the bar and look over you from there while you went straight to the dance floor because you preferred to be anonymous tonight and they would ruin that and also you didn’t feel like getting drunk. That was the plan at least but you suspected that they would get too drunk to continue watching over you because it had been stressful lately with a lot of paperwork and they needed to unwind. Wanda had practically confirmed that fact when she gave you permission to leave without them.

You step over to the dance floor glancing around to see if there looked to be any single women already there. The reason you had chosen this club was because although it wasn’t lgbtq+ exclusive, it was open to everybody and therefore frequented by many members of the community.

Just as you were glancing around you felt a tap on your shoulder. “Wanna dance?” You spin around to find the most beautiful girl you’ve ever seen, apart from Natasha. It bothers you that you’re using Natasha as your standard and comparing other girls to her but you brush that off.

“I would love to!” At your response she takes your hand, pulling you into the crowd and starts to dance. You dance as well and slowly you lose track of time as you loosen up and your dancing with the girl becomes less and less innocent. You can feel yourself caring less about what Natasha thought although as great as this girl seemed to be you knew you weren’t ready for a relationship so you hoped she wasn’t looking for one. After what could be a couple of hours because you’ve completely lost track of time, you and the girl whose name you still don’t know head over to a corner of the room and take a seat on two of the stools that were provided.

“Hi, I feel like I should know your name by now, I’m Y/n.” You introduce yourself.

“Wait I thought you looked familiar!” She exclaims. “You’re the Y/n that’s a part of the avengers right?”

You awkwardly give a nod and gesture towards the bar where you can see Tony and Wanda who have obviously had at least a few drinks each. “Tony and Wanda came with me. They are just over there but I didn’t particularly want the spotlight tonight so I split from them at the door.”

“I understand, I must admit I have no desire to be famous. I’m Jamie by the way” She says with a cute little giggle before her mood seems to be more solemn. “I can’t believe I’m saying this to a literal avenger and if my friends find out they are going to kill me but I’m sorry if you’re looking for a relationship but I just got out of a serious relationship and am not ready for another one quite yet.”

You let out a relieved sigh. “I’m not looking for a relationship either, because I’m trying to get over my feelings for a friend.”

“Phew!” She replies. “But tell me more about this ‘friend’ of yours.” You take a minute to think before deciding that Jamie could be trusted. You begin to spill all about your feelings for Natasha and how she didn’t seem interested and what she said to you on your way here. Jamie listens sympathetically the entire time before telling you all about how she thought her ex was the one but it turns out she was emotionally abusive. Even though you just met you talk like old friends, offering advice on serious topics but also chatting about random things. You have 3 more drinks each and after every drink your barriers crumble more and more. Eventually you exchange numbers so you can meet up again although you both agreed it would be a platonic meetup. Just as you were giggling about a joke you couldn’t even remember, you saw Jamie tense up and a second later you felt a hand on your shoulder. You turn your head in anger expecting it to be some creepy guy trying to hit on you but it turns to confusion when you see Natasha.

“Can we talk?” She asks, giving Jamie a dirty look. “At the tower. Without her.”

“Why?” You ask. “I’m having fun here Nat.” You specifically say her name as you speak so Jamie knows who you’re talking to.

“Just come home.” She says not answering your question, instead tugging at your wrist lightly. You sigh not knowing what to do so you glance at Jamie for help.

She shrugs and then says, “I have a ride home planned if you want to leave, but I wouldn’t mind staying longer if that’s what you want.”

You make a quick decision in your head before responding, “Ok, we’ll go back to the tower but there better be a good reason.” You then turn to Jamie, “Text me when you get home so I know you’re safe, and then we can figure out when to hang out.”

“Of course,” she agrees leaning forwards to hug you while whispering in your ear, “good luck but remember not to let her treat you badly just because you’re in love with her.” You pull back from the hug and smile at her as Natasha’s hand moves down to your own as she starts walking, pulling you along with her. You can barely think straight, you have no idea what is going on with Natasha or why she’s acting so weirdly. You glance over to Tony and Wanda to see if they’ve noticed what’s going on but just as you suspected they were drunk out of their minds. If they were normal friends you would have worried about them but you knew Tony’s drivers would get them home safe because although Tony was more responsible with Pepper around this was not the first time they’ve had to haul his drunk ass back to the tower.

Natasha continues to pull you out the door and over to her parked motorcycle where she hands you a helmet and one of her leather jackets. Still not speaking she hops on and motions for you to get on behind her. You swing your leg over the side somewhat awkwardly and scoot forwards so you can grab onto her waist. Once she’s sure you’re secured properly she hits the gas, the motorcycle roaring as it starts. You’ve never been on her motorcycle before so at first you are a bit nervous but after a couple of minutes you start to feel more comfortable. At this point your only nerves come from holding Natasha and wondering what she wants to talk to you about and not the motorcycle ride. Compared to the ride over to the club, this ride feels like it’s taking forever as you start to go over all the important reasons Nat would want to talk to you. You still didn’t know how to feel about everything because she insulted you earlier and now is making you feel important. To protect your feelings you tell yourself that there is probably a mission or a meeting that came up last minute and this isn’t just Natasha wanting to talk. It’s improbable because if that was the case she would have outright said so but you can’t think of any more plausible reasons off the top of your head. Luckily before you can analyze her strange behavior anymore you reach the tower and after parking underground you follow Natasha upstairs into the main living area which is obviously deserted as it is now between 3 and 4 am.

“So why did you want to talk?” You ask, breaking the silence as you take a seat on the couch.

“Why did you go to a club?” She asks, also sitting down on the other end of the couch, avoiding your question.

A surge of anger floods through you and while you don’t shout, you raise your voice a little. “Answer the fucking question Nat. Or did you bring me all the way back just to ask that?”

She looks somewhat surprised that you raised your voice but she keeps hers even. “I just wanted to know. It looked like you were having fun with whoever that girl is.”

“Yeah I was.” You respond, still confused. “But how do you know that?”

Natasha avoids eye contact looking everywhere but you. “I was watching you.”

“YOU WERE WHAT?” You shout before lowering your voice to avoid waking up the whole tower. “Why the fuck were you spying on me?”

“I- I wasn’t.” She replies seemingly caught off guard by your tone of voice. “I wanted to make sure you were safe.”

“Tony and Wanda were with me.” You respond confused. There’s something she’s not telling you that’s making her act weird. She knew you could handle yourself so she obviously was not telling the truth, or at least omitting details. She hasn’t responded to your last statement, instead choosing to look at you in the weird way she does that makes you feel like you’re being interrogated. You decide that if she isn’t going to talk, you won’t either so you pull your phone out of your jacket to check it. You see a text from Jamie saying she got home ok with a little smiley face at the end that causes you to smile. You type back a quick reply, just saying you’re glad she’s safe and that you were with Natasha right now and were probably going to bed soon so you’d text her tomorrow. She wished you luck and goodnight with another little smiley face that made you smile again. Putting your phone away you look back up at Natasha only to find out she’s glaring at you.

Unsure of what could have changed her attitude towards you, you ask, “What?”

“Who were you talking to?” She asks ignoring your question for the second time tonight.

You sigh, “I don’t see how it’s any of your business but if you really must know I was just saying goodnight to the girl from the club, Jamie.”

“So that’s her name.” She says wrinkling her nose. Now you’re really confused as to what Natasha is thinking. You couldn’t tell on normal days but usually she acted rationally and never was like this.

“Why do you say it like that?” You ask.

“I don’t like her.”

“Why don’t you like her?”

“I just don’t.” She answers, offering no explanation. Although you do want to find out why Natasha doesn’t like her you’re too tired to spend the time asking questions so you stand up to go to bed.

“Where are you going?” She demands.

You sigh for what feels like the thousandth time of the night. “I’m going to bed. You wanted to talk to me but won’t actually talk, and when I ask you questions, instead of responding you insult my new friend.”

“Friend?” She questions.

“Jamie.” You say confused because you thought the answer was obvious.

“Oh.” She responds, “I’m sorry, please stay.” You think about it for a second, deciding to stay so you go to sit down again, but before you do Natasha scoots over to your end of the couch pulling you down into her side. Your entire body freezes up because you’re so unsure of what to do. Natasha never initiated physical contact of any kind but now she was practically hugging you. Seeming to realize how uncomfortable you were, she quickly moves away.

“Sorry,” she mutters, “That was stupid.”

“No, no, it’s fine, you can come back.” You respond quickly. As much as you were uncomfortable, it felt really nice to have her by your side. She somewhat shyly shifts back over to you but this time instead of wrapping her arm around your shoulders she nuzzles into your side, maneuvering your arms so they wrap around her. You have no idea what’s going on right now but you can’t help but smile as you look down at her. She looks cute and relaxed, with her hair covering parts of her face. Thinking about her hair reminds you of her opinion of your new haircut. You bite your lip nervously as you debate asking her about that or not. You definitely don’t want to ruin the cuddly mood that she’s in now but the comment still bothers you, not to mention you never actually found out why she took you home from the club.

“Um Natasha?” You ask in a timid voice. “Is my haircut really that bad?”

“Of course not, I think it suits you.” She responds smoothly. “I lied to you earlier.”

You smile at that. “Thank you but why?”

She takes a deep shaky breath before speaking. “Promise this won’t change anything between us first, that we will stay friends.”

“Ok,” You respond, earnest but confused, “I promise.”

“I didn’t like the idea of you going clubbing and coming home with some one night stand or even worse a girlfriend because I have feelings for you. So I was childish and took out my frustrations on you by pretending I didn’t like you. I’m sorry.” She’s looking up at you now, the most nervous you’ve ever seen her. Your mind is exploding with this new information and your heart feels so happy you can’t even believe what is going on.

“Is that why you were watching me with Jamie at the club and then told me you had to talk to me?”

“Yeah”

After a few more seconds of shocked silence that feels like hours to Natasha you finally speak. “I know I promised that this wouldn’t change anything between us but I don’t think it can be the same.” She starts to pull away from your side but before she can you lean over and press your lips against hers. At first you are hesitant but once she starts kissing back you gain confidence, the kiss getting more heated. After a minute or two you both pull away to catch your breath, smiling at each other.

Natasha lightly swats you on the arm. “You’re evil.” You giggle a little in response. “I was so worried for a second there, I thought you would be weirded out by that.” She continues also giggling slightly.

“I’m surprised you didn’t know that I had feelings for you,” you confess to her, “it was actually Tony and Wanda’s idea for me to go out because we all thought you didn’t like me so they thought it was a good idea to get over you.”

“Well that plan failed,” she says smirking, “I guess you can’t get over me.”

You look at her and yawn. “No I guess I can’t.”

At your yawn she glances at the clock. “We better get you to bed, it’s almost the time Steve wakes up for training.” You would like to spend more time with Natasha but you’re too tired to argue so you just nod and follow her as she pulls you up and leads you to your room, holding your hand the whole way. Inside your room she sits on your bed while you change, politely looking away. Once you’re in pyjamas you hold a pair out to her and she looks at you confused.

“Do you want to stay the night?” You ask her. She eagerly nods, accepting the pyjamas as you open your covers and crawl into bed. As soon as she’s done she turns off the lights and hops in behind you, spooning you. You sigh as you feel her plant a kiss on the back of your head. You can barely keep your eyes open and although you still haven’t talked about exactly what your new relationship with Natasha was yet, you were excited for what was to come. Your last thought before you drifted off to sleep was complete bliss as Natasha kept planting soft kisses on the back of your neck, head and shoulders.

The next morning you hear a loud pounding at your door. You groan and slowly gain consciousness, smiling as you remember last night and the redhead still cuddling you. Just like yesterday Tony doesn’t bother to wait for you to answer and instead barges straight in. His eyes widen when he sees the two of you spooning and he starts to splutter. You laugh at him with Natasha until he shouts for the other avengers to come. Multiple pairs of footsteps make your way to your bedroom and you see the shocked faces of a few of the other avengers, including Wanda, Steve and Clint.

“What,” Natasha says speaking up, “can’t a girl cuddle with her girlfriend in peace?” Steve immediately apologizes, ushering everyone out of the room and closing the door.

You raise your eyebrow. “Girlfriends?”

“I assumed so, if you want.” She responds.

“I like the sound of that...girlfriend.” You both smile at each other. You definitely did not complete your goal of getting over Natasha and instead fell further in love but you were totally ok with that.

Speed: I am slow as fuck. Holy shit. Well, I do tend to be faster with dash shenanigans and events planned a long time ago. Also very thoroughly plotted dynamics are easy for me to respond to. But holy heck am I still slow with those too. Like. Do not expect me to be fast. Ever. I also have like 7 other sideblogs aside of this one, 5 more planned and a main rp blog. And school and mental health. Replies are written in order of what makes my brain go ‘oh cool! I can come up with something!’ but don’t let that stop you from yeeting shit my way or requesting stuff from me. Only makes the chance that my brain will go ‘!!!!!’ at something from you more likely. Once upon a time, I messaged friends 10 times a day with rambles but now??? What is this energy you’re talking about?

Replies: Listen listen listen. I don’t care about how long your reply is as long as it gives me something to work with and isn’t only two or three letters. Personally, I always either try to match your reply length or how much my brain allows me to come up with.

Starters: Okay. They’re difficult as heck. But I don’t mind writing them one bit. I’m just a perfectionist who worries a lot about the starters I write unless we have plotted something beforehand. Gimme a bit and I will give you a thing when you least expect it. Aha.

Inbox: Heck yes heck yes heck yes I love sending asks and love receiving them. You can literally send me the silliest most random shit or something really angsty. I don’t care. I adore it. Know that I never delete anything I receive and will answer it eventually. Just. . . Chuckles nervously as I look at my askbox numbers. Just be patient--

Selectivity: First of all, I am not mutuals only. Aside of that. . . I admit I have grown more selective over the years. My comfort is incredibly important to me as working on my mental health has become a priority. This means that I absolutely refuse to follow blogs that don’t tag triggers and aren’t understanding to them. I’ve seen it happen plenty of times where people with triggers were made fun of or not taken seriously in general and I am not coming near people who think that’s okay.

Wishlist: Oh boy oh boy an arranged marriage has been on my wishlist for a long time. And interactions with Clawthornes and covenheads are very high on the list too!! Also anything involving his partners and/or his kids is a heck yes!!! Introducing him to modern stuff is so silly too. . . Let’s not forget him learning he’s autistic!!

BEGIN.

Before we start, I would like you to have certain things in mind when approaching me ooc. I am very shy and quite awkward, which results in me not being much of a talker; however, I will always try my best to be friendly to whoever wants to approach. I dislike pet names so please do not use them with me unless we are very close. There will be times when I'm just exhausted, so my wording could sound rude/aggressive, to which I apologize in advance -I never mean to hurt people’s feelings. I also reserve the right to interact with WHOEVER I want, and pestering me about it will only get you blocked.

Updates will be made as required.

I. BASIC.

A. This blog is: Selective / Independent / Canon Divergent / NSFW / Mutuals only / Singleship / Mostly iconless / Multiverse / AU, Crossover, OC, and Multimuse friendly / Vaguely affiliated with the OP RP fandom.

B. I am a very slow rper for many reasons —school, family, my ever-fluctuating mood —and I would appreciate it if you refrained from pestering me for replies. In return I offer as much patience as necessary. Think of this blog as low activity please.

C. English is not my mother language so I apologize in advance for any mistakes made.

D. I track the tag #iinfortunii, although mentioning me works just as fine.

E. Constructive criticism is always welcome but anon hate will be immediately deleted. I have no problems if you disagree with my portrayal, but it doesn't give you the right to harass me.

F. Mun and muse are both over 18, so there are chances that heavy content will be present; however I won't be writing smut. I can roleplay anything before or after the act if requested, but the moment things get far too explicit, I'll do a fade-to-black. I ask of you to not lie about your age or else you’ll be blocked indefinitely.

G. This is a heavily headcanon-based blog, and changes are likely to be made as more information is revealed about him, though I reserve the right to adjust the new information according to my interpretation of Deuce or simply ignore it, which is why I’m canon divergent.

H. If you'd like to turn an ask into a thread, you can turn it into a new post, or reblog from me, as I won't be using the Tumblr asks anymore due to the problems that come with formatting and such.

I. Ask box is open for everyone ic or ooc, but you aren't allowed to turn it into a thread and nor I will reply to it if we’re not mutuals. Please don't push me, because I won't hesitate to block.

J. No godmoding —only a minor is allowed if it moves a thread forward —or metagaming, please. Don't kill Deuce either, unless plotted beforehand, and most importantly, don't hold your muse back.

K. Discord is available for mutuals upon request.

L. Just because I write something it does not mean I condone it. Please have this in mind and again, do not pester me about it. Any and all nsfw matters will be tagged accordingly. There will be triggering topics present, and you can know more about this on the section below.

M. DO NOT involve me in drama or call-out posts. I’m heavily against both things. On this note, you’ll never see me rebloging a call-out post. This culture is so damaging and toxic, and I firmly believe no one should play the role of the judge for the good of the community just because you had issues with someone or don’t agree with the things they roleplay. Talk things privately, be mature about it, hard-block the person and move on. I am also very aware that a lot of people have done things that can’t be excused, but I like to believe that people can change for the better. If you try to drag me into it, I'll hard block any and all people involved indefinitely.

II. TRIGGERS.

A. They will be tagged as trigger tw, trigger / and trigger cw.

B. I do my best to stay up to date with my mutuals triggers. Your comfort is way more important to me than you might think, so never be hesitant to approach me via IM, (anonymous) ask or stop following me.

C. Triggers that are likely to appear, although some more than others: violence || blood || death || drugs || abuse || knives || body image || medical equipment || suggestive content || etc

D. I have no triggers, so you are free to go wild with your content. I only ask you remember to tag your nsfw (both written and visual), please.

III. INTERACTIONS.

A. Deuce won't like everyone. He might/will make wrong assumptions about your character. He will insult and bite back. He won't always be nice to those he likes. He does many things that serve his interests. You, as the mun, have no reason to take it personal, because I'm won't follow someone I don't like; if you DO take it personal however, and decide to rouse drama, then I'll be hard-blocking you. Goes for me as well —I have no reason to get angry for any of the things noted above.

B. My bonds page displays the relationships that have been built over time, not necessarily through interaction alone but over plotting as well. Refer to it for more information.

C. Interactions with OCs related to canon characters will only take place as long as said OCs have a detailed about page. Personally, I'm not interested in the idea of an OC being blood-related to my portrayal, so I apologize in advance.

D. Formatting isn’t a big thing across my blogs, save for the small text. Please don’t mix either sup/sub with small text when writing with me, as I have eyesight problems. Don’t use colored text either.

E. Non-romantic pre-established relationships are allowed! Just make sure to talk it out with me first, yeah?

01. Spade / Whitebeard pirates (canon and original characters alike that i am MUTUALS with) will have a pre-established relationship as long as the other mun is comfortable with such idea, though that relationship will be limited to merely crewmates, unless discussed otherwise.

F. You don’t need to match my writing length as long as I’m given enough to work with. If something about my reply bothers or doesn’t work with you, let me know and I’ll re-work it.

G. I really enjoy plotting scenarios or talking out about the relationships my muse could have with other muses, so hit me up if you’ve got any ideas! I’ll try to do the same!

H. Mun does not equal muse, so don’t go assuming I’m a jerk simply because Deuce is an asshole from time to time. I’m set on the idea that I’ll give people the same treatment they give me —which is always nice and kind. Kudos to everyone for this ♡

I. I don’t use a threadtracker because I rely on my memory (terrible mistake, I know), but I try to draft people’s replies as soon as I see them. If by any reason it seems like I lost it, then please let me know / send me a link with it and I’ll be deeply grateful.

J. I don’t do nor reply to greetings starters for matters of my own comfort, so I ask of you to never expect a starter or a reply from them.

IV. SHIPPING.

A. Singleship, with the spot taken by daadzi, which means Deuce is no longer open for romantic relationships.

01. Under no circumstances, I will accept more romantic relationships once the spot is taken. That being said, I won’t discourage your muse from falling for / hitting on him, although I ask you to understand he will never respond with the same interest or will never react gently if he’s pushed too far.

02. If my shipping partner is comfortable enough, I'll interact with duplicates with the condition that the relationship is strictly platonic.

B. Constant interaction, mutual interest, and chemistry are a must for the sake of better communication (both ic and ooc, preferably).

C. Please do not approach me if you wish our characters to have either a: one night stand or friends with benefits type of relationships. It won’t work out due to the nature of Deuce’s personality, and for that I apologize.

E. My ship has its own tag so you're free to block it if you don't want to see it on your dashboard. In addition, I'll also tag those posts with only the ship name for this very purpose.

F. Please do not force ships on me.

V. CELEBRATIONS.

A. First off, I am absolutely terrible at keeping up with dates, and to be frank, I am not the biggest fan of celebrating, which is why I think it’s necessary to say I won’t be partaking in any holidays, not even Deuce’s birthday (not that he has one, to begin with). Obviously I will still reply to any gifts received, and will send out things in return —you know, common courtesy.

B. I won't be sending out birthday gifts every year, and I might write drabbles for people once in a blue moon; it doesn’t mean they will be done for the specific date though, so please be patient.

VI. REASONS TO NOT FOLLOW BACK / UNFOLLOW.

A. Too much drama / call-outs / vague posts / sexual content.

B. Content makes me uncomfortable.

C. You are a personal blog without a visible rp sideblog. Please make sure it's easy to find.

D. You do not have a proper tag system.

E. Your blog doesn’t have a rules and about pages.

VII. ABOUT BEATRICE.

She is not a real person. Her concept as Deuce’s (toxic) pseudolover is my creation and was somewhat inspired from the real life Beatrice Portinari. Do have in mind that Deuce doesn’t talk about her so your muse can’t simply approach him and ask about her unless they can go through his memories / read his mind / any capability alike or he speaks about her, though it won't take a genius to figure out that she's a product of his imagination.

She serves as a lie to shield himself from the internalized homophobia he deals with up until meeting Ace.

NOTE: As stated previously, Mun =/= muse, but I too have been dealing with compulsory heterosexuality for far too long, so I'd like to apologize in advance for projecting a bit of that into my portrayal. I'll work so that this part makes sense with what we've been given from Ace's novel.

VIII. MISCELLANEOUS.

A. I will never force people to follow me, so if by any reason you have to unfollow/block me, please go ahead. Your comfort matters and have every right to do what you must to ensure your wellbeing. With that said, I will not tolerate and will immediately hard block if you try to police my content.

B. I do not follow back immediately, and it can take me from a few hours to several days to follow back. Do not take it personally if I choose not to.

C. If I follow it’s because I am interested in interacting. I only ask you to be patient because it might take me a while to gather the courage to send something to your inbox or talk to you.

D. I have. ZERO knowledge about medicine. Don’t expect me to go full force and try to be 100% accurate, because I won’t.

The Code

Success. I’ve sufficiently pestered the wench to make me a blog, much to the cost of a certain behorned mischief god whose presence I must share. Follow the rules below, and there’ll be smooth sailin’, savvy?

This be an exceptionally selective blog. I was me mun’s first ever muse yonks back and I’ve pestered her into writing me again, BUT, she’s horribly pressed for time. Partners will likely be very few, else ones doubling up with Loki’s. Anyone is welcome to approach and enquire, but she and I will be leaning toward those either from me own universe or crossovers with which she’s highly familiar and characters in whom she’s especially interested. Ye have been warned.

Replies are like to be slow, up to a few weeks at most.

Partners must be 18+. Various themes of an adult nature may be found here. Sexual things will be tagged ‘#filthy pirate’ with whatever level/variety of sin I deem them. More details below.

Behave. There shall be no rudeness, no passive aggression, no hate, no censorship or generally being a twit. Do I make meself clear?

The Code - Extended (below the cut)

Hi, guys. I’m Pirate (oddly known as this long before I made Jack a tumblr). Here are my more detailed rules and guidelines for writing with me on this blog, though the absolute basics are at the top as, honestly, it’s never easy to remember everyone’s requirements.

Jack is a sideblog. If you’re being followed by a benevolentgodloki that means I’m following you back. I don’t need us to be mutuals (both following each other) for us to write together, but there is a greater chance of us having a partnership if we’re letting each other know we’re interested.

How I Roll

I note myself as ‘highly selective’. This isn’t to be an elitist bugger, it’s because we all only have a limited amount of time we can put in. I want to write what I enjoy with people I enjoy. I am married with two attention-seeking cats, two jobs, a slow-brewing intended writing career and a video game addiction.

Asks/Memes - I will usually answer these no matter who they are from but I may or may not turn them into a thread I intend to keep. Some memes are very much designed to be something that continues so context can be key. If you would like to know in advance whether I intend to answer and/or keep something, please do pop me a message and I will be kind and honest.

My Threads - While Jack’s blog is still exciting and new, I’m being a bit all over the place with who and what I reply to depending on which way Jack’s.. compass.. is pointing. I do have a rolling turn order that I adhere to (to the point that I can genuinely tell you who is next at any given moment) but it’s all piled in with Loki’s threads, meaning I can take a few weeks to get round everything. Every partner gets one of their threads answered within that ‘round’ and then I go round again. However, when I’m really into something/finding something easy to pop back, I treat myself to spamming certain threads or partners at my whim. I use rpthreadtracker.com to maintain what I have.

I will remind partners of threads that have not been replied to for more than three months. If I do not do this, I have either forgotten/lost it myself, I’m not too fussed about keeping it at that stage, or you were absent for a long period of time.

My Style - I will write in both past or present tense depending on partner preference. My default is past but I like either. Please kick me if I screw up and write the wrong one. I prefer using regular size font but I will make mine small on replies to people who use the smaller so that it looks neat. I will often match partners’ lengths and some formatting details e.g. bolding dialogue, but I struggle with doing novella-length posts for reasons below.

I have a bugbear to admit about role-play. What we call splicing. A good half of my partners write this way so I’m not about to tell everyone to stop but if you’re someone who does this, you will occasionally run into some frustrations when writing with me. ‘Splicing’ is when you retrospectively write dialogue or actions as having previously happened during your partner’s last post. These things are fine when they’re passive i.e. your character muttered them, thought them or you were writing what your character was doing at the time because that’s pretty much essential. The trouble comes usually when my characters talk a lot/ask rhetorical questions and partners choose to answer every single one despite the fact my character carried on talking. I know it’s an ass that I have talkative muses and you really want to respond to every point/get a word in, but putting words and actions into the past effectively godmods my muse into accepting they happened. If you feel your muse would have full-on interjected midway through their ramble, please ask me to edit my post/stop it at that point. Otherwise if you do prefer to splice, my muse will only respond to whatever it is your character did or said last in their post. This is one of the reasons I can’t write novella, because often there is only so much you can write before you’re stepping into the territory of changing what went before and not allowing your partner to do anything about it.

TL;DR don’t ever worry about your post being too short for me. If it’s one sentence long but it’s because something fast-paced is happening, I won’t be miffed.

Shipping! - no not that kind of ship, Jack. I love shipping. Ships all around. Let’s face it, romance can be one of the most exciting reasons we bother writing. I am open to a lot of ships for Jack, practically all of them. Yes, even that one. I will do downright nasty, toxic, horrible stuff, savvy? It’s fiction and Jack is a great indulgence for bad things happening to him as much as good. That said, of course don’t force something on him without prior agreement between us. Well, I mean, your muse can try and accost him and see what he does, just don’t expect him to definitely reciprocate. Jack and I are bi/pansexual. We’re open to everything. I will admit a heavy lean toward m/m but, that said, Jack is extremely fond of the ladies, more so than Loki. I am very into Sparrington especially.

Not Safe For Ye Olde Work

Sliding down from the above topic, I enjoy the occasional smutting. It is not a requirement from my partners. In fact, I’m warming very much to fading to black depending on the context/mood/if things feel a bit repetitive. I do feel a touch more comfortable with partners who don’t need that boundary but as I’ve recently figured ‘if it needs a cut, then it’s smut’ I know when to skip on.

Saucy material will go under cuts/Read More’s and be tagged as mentioned above with ‘filthy pirate’. Additional tags will be based on the citrus scale: ‘lime’ for general grabbing, ‘lemon’ for full on sexual content and ‘grapefruit’ if things get extra kinky. I will tag things such as ‘rape tw’ or ‘noncon tw’ or ‘dubcon tw’ where necessary. Please blacklist any or all of these at your leisure, or search them if you fancy :U I do NOT tag these as ‘ns.fw’ because tumblr just completely hides them from being searchable which is useless for my partners.

OC’s - Due to my time constraints I am extremely picky when it comes to OC’s. This is a good fandom for well-thought-out muses and I know firsthand how hard it is to make headway as an OC in the RP world. However, I also understand that for people like me, I want to dip in on this site to mostly play with the characters and worlds I’m really absorbed in and ship my weaselly black guts out. Some people have more time than others to really give your OCs the time and love they deserve. Unless I’ve played with you a long time and I really like the cut of your and your muse’s jib, it’s very unlikely I’ll bite. Apologies! The same goes for crossover muses from fandoms I’m unfamiliar with, but I will let you know if that’s the case.

Limits

Threads - I don’t have a strict limit on how many to have per person but please bear in mind that the more of these you have with me the longer it will take me to get to a particular one (unless I’m spamming it back and forth). This is more a mun/muse context how many I accept.

Exclusives/mains - I don’t do these although I may consider having a maximum of 3 or 4 of one muse depending on activity levels and to ensure plots don’t get mixed up or attention feel unfairly balanced.

Triggers/squicks - I don’t like body horror e.g. graphic detail of squishy bits having bad things happen to them. I’m writing a pirate so there’s absolutely allowed to be elements of torture/violence, just don’t stab him in the eye or chop bits off him. One torture-related thing sends me into a complete freakout which I’ll discuss with partners if we’re doing a thread of that ilk as needed. Kink-wise I’m not into mpreg, A/B/O or infantilism or toilet things. Just ask me/Jack if you’re after something XD

Who I Am/What I Need From You

Being yourself is the most important thing and I promise I am not a scary person (usually). We’re only human and it’s natural that we’ll get along better with some rather than others. This is more to give you a gist of the sort of person I am and who I gel with best.

So I’m a shy hermit at the best of times. I’m trying to be better at engaging and enthusing with partners over our threads because I realise more than ever this does keep things alive and make for a more enjoyable experience. I’m not always great at it. I work best with people who are patient and don’t worry too much on what I think of them and their writing, with people who are happy to keep threads going for the longhaul rather than keep dropping everything before I’ve had the time to get to the next post, and most especially people who accept that fiction =/= reality. I do need a certain level of quality, which doesn’t always mean perfect grammar, but it must be coherent, fun and creative. I like a relaxed approach, sharing mutual enjoyment in silly fantasy world sandboxes as escapism from (and exploration of) this complicated world we live in.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG

SPEED: for the most part, when muse is high, i am high activity. recent events and a preference for discord has waned my reply speed significantly in recent days, but it seems like i’m starting to get back into the swing of things now? fingers crossed. anyway, i tend to be very fast if i’m into a thread, but that doesn’t mean i’m trying to pressure you into also replying fast.

REPLIES: i try to match length, but usually end up going a bit over, and make threads longer than they started out. this is because hellhound is extra as hell and always has a lot of inner narration that needs to be written down. as for order etc, i don’t usually queue, because i’m lazy and i don’t care to. i reply to the things i want to reply to the most – this is a hobby and i’m doing my best not to let it feel like a job, so if i only reply to one thread for a wholeass week or two, i’m ... not gonna apologize? it’s my blog and i run it in the way that’s most fun. the muse wants what it wants! as a general note, also: please do not get passive aggressive about your partners not replying to threads. that’s really rude.

STARTERS: i used to post opens frequently, but not as much lately, as i very rarely get replies to them. starter calls are very difficult for me because of hellhound’s unfortunately cagey nature, so i much prefer starters born of plotting, or, honestly? even memes.

INBOX: if you send me multiple memes in one go (which i love), i’ll usually pick one or a few that are most intriguing to answer and delete the rest, to keep feelings of obligation and inbox piling low. not only does this help pick out potential threads and develop them, but a response to something less interesting would be half-assed, so what’s the point? anyway: most of the time, i write meme replies with the expectation that the sender wants to have the option open to turn them into a thread. you never have to ask to do this, always feel free to.

SELECTIVITY: i am pretty highly selective – hellhound is hard to write with, and if i forced interactions with muses that just don’t click with her, this blog wouldn’t be as fun to write on. if i don’t follow back, it’s just because i can’t see our characters interacting very well, it’s nothing personal. and if, over time, that feeling develops after i’ve followed back (and we aren’t friends ooc) i’ll generally softblock. the same goes for people who show absolutely no interest in interacting over time. though, if you followed me over from my old blog, i generally won’t unfollow or softblock even if our muses don’t click. because sentiment (but you’re free to do so if you want, of course)

HONEST NOTE: plotting is really important to me, as is treating hellhound with respect. respect does not mean your muse liking her. respect means understanding that she is a very fucking fearsome person in whatever setting i put her in, and not belittling the rumors about her/just assuming they wouldn’t believe them. please understand that misconceptions are supposed to dictate hellhound being a ruthless fucking murderer. she does not scatter information about her targets after the fact. she does not tell people why she kills those she kills, even if they ask. it would take a lot of digging to find out that she has a pattern in the first place. while the rumors vary, they are generally publicly understood to be true. nothing makes me happier than when a muse is genuinely angry at or scared of hellhound because of what she’s told to be at the beginning of interactions. it’s fine if your muse doesn’t believe the rumors, but please go forward with the understanding that that is VERY RARE, especially in a setting where magic/myths exist! people not taking her seriously despite the things she’s done is one of my pet peeves. unless your muse is blatantly not scared of, like, serial killers, or people who tear others apart, i ask that you take her seriously and don’t undermine her fearsome nature. thank u v-v

Rules!

1. Themes will vary with this blog. Mystery Incorporated is PRETTY dark at times, so it’ll be what you expect there. To that end, dark themes, violence and maybe swearing.

I will try my best to tag everything. These will be under the format of swearing tw. If you’d like me to tag anything specific, don’t hesitate to ask through anon / inbox / im!

I don’t have any triggers but I do ask you tag all of your NSFW (sexual) content.

Mun is of age, and as such I won’t be writing anything of the sexual nature with minors.

2. I’m private, which means I only write with mutuals (this is for my own sanity / comfort; everyone’s cool!). I’ll write with canon, oc, and crossover characters.

Although I’m private, when it comes to following people, I’m selective. We don’t have to have known each other prior to write!

As for following back, I usually take a week tops to do so - but if you’ve hit up my promo, I go through that eventually.

If it’s a crossover, I have to know the fandom and be at least a little bit confident with it. This is so I’m able to work with you, our thread and have muse for it.

I follow the tag #trappingguy. If there’s anything you want me to see, like dash commentary, just tag that and x-kit will alert me of your post! I may respond to ic stuff ic stuff if I’m feeling it.

In that sense, I’m chill with dash shenanigans with most folk, not just mutuals!

Absolutely no godmodding. It ain’t fun, fam. If you’re not sure what this term means, do look it up. This includes powerplaying, metagaming, and other things of that nature. This applies especially in fights if they happen (I’m chance-based and hope that you are too).

I can be picky with OCs. But rest assured, if you’ve followed me/interacted with my promo, I’ll always give your pages a read.

Please don’t be offended if I don’t want to interact with you (and please don’t try to guilt me into doing so!).

I DON’T CARE ABOUT AESTHETICS. I just think they’re pretty. If you don’t use formatting or anything like that, or heck - even wanna’ just do iconless rp - I have no problem with it whatsoever! It’s you, your writing and your muse I care about!

3. Please don’t rush me for starters or responses.

PLEASE understand that I have blogs galore and my muse tends to fluctuate; this can mean I’m everywhere at once and can end up neglecting a blog or two. It’s nothing personal; you know how muses are!

I have a full-time job (and I’m trying to get into screenwriting in my off-time) so sometimes I’m scrapped for time or exhausted. I’m also an introvert who deals with anxiety and depression, thus that may affect how much / how often I roleplay. If I don’t get chance to respond to anything ic or ooc, it’s nothing personal! Promise!

Chances are, I’ve probably has seen that bit of interactivity and just haven’t gotten around to responding yet.

My roleplaying style being para/multi-para, I may take a while to respond. I hoard drafts like a dragon - it’s really just the motivation to write and ship those out.

I hoard asks, but sometimes can’t find muse or interest for all of them. If it’s been a month or two, generally assume I’m not interested / can’t find muse for it. You’re free to send another though!

I answer asks from anyone - personals, rp blogs and anons. I’ll answer non-mutual asks occaisonally but I won’t be making threads out of them

4. Shippings? If they’re of similar age, sure!

If I don’t happen to be interested, don’t force anything on my character.

I do not ship incestuous ships. Do NOT follow/interact if you do.

The ship has to have chemistry; I’m generally shipping trash, but if they don’t click, they don’t click, sorry.

This is a multi-ship blog, meaning there will be more than one ship without them conflicting with eachother.

If you want to ship and I already have a ship of your choosing going with a duplicate, please don’t hesitate to hmu! My ships aren’t exclusive and each character/relationship portrayal is unique to me!

Relationships are eternal until you deem otherwise. If you’re not interested in a ship anymore, just let me know!

5. Whilst I am of age, I’m not aiming for sexual content on this blog (and will not be dealing with fetishes). The occasional joke is fine, but anything beyond that makes me uncomfortable, and I typically don’t recommend pulling it with my character if you’re interacting with me.

6. About reblogs…

I am not a meme source, and reblogs clog up my activity. Please reblog any memes you find on this blog from their SOURCE. The exception to this rule is if there is no source; go ahead.

I don’t feel comfortable with Personals reblogging my IC or OOC posts, so please don’t do that. If I put something in the fandom tags for whatever reason (bar promos), you’re free to, though.

This goes for my art too unless it has the tag ok to rb, but otherwise only the person I drew it for can reblog it. If you wanna’ reblog something, I DO put it on my art blog eventually!

A few times is fine, as it happens, but repeatedly breaking these rules will result in me soft blocking you.

I try to participate in reblog karma as much as I can, but always reblog from the source/a meme source.

If a post or ask is for you, you’re free to reblog it to save it though - but only if you’re an rp blog!

7. I’m a para / multi-para blog, novella if I’m adventurous and have time. Whilst I may roleplay crack threads with shorter responses, this does not apply to all threads I write. This means:

I write my replies as detailed as I can muster, and length can range from 1 paragraph to 6.

Short responses (such as one-liners) in more serious threads where I’ve written a decent deal can instantly kill my muse for that thread.

Whilst I’d prefer for partners to at least somewhat match my length, it’s entirely up to you - just try your best and make sure you give me enough to work with. ♡

If my muse happen to go nuts out of nowhere - like, overboard - don’t stress too much about matching him.

8. Threads! You can yeet asks, memes, and even starters at me if I’ve liked a call! I’ll obviously have my own you can like.

You’re free to like starter calls even if we’re not mutuals; I can check out your blog that way. I still only write starters for mutuals though.

Starter memes are the BEST way to interact me because they just yeet a prompt at my face and really help me write starters. If you see me reblog one, send one!

If you want a certain verse, lemme’ know! Otherwise, I’ll probably default to a post-canon verse.

If you want to turn an ask into a thread, go ahead!

I don’t recommend writing starters for me unless we’ve discussed something. I don’t like to leave anyone hanging.

Please don’t assume things about my muse. If you’re uncertain about things, ASK.

IMs are open to mutuals, if you want to do any in-depth plotting. I also have Discord if that’s more convenient for you!

For the moment, I’m sticking PRIMARILY to Mystery Incorporated canon with some other media sprinkled in. It’s just because Fred has a lot of media to cover and I haven’t binged his stuff yet.

9. Guidelines on mains and relationships:

If we’re mutuals and we interact a lot, you’re welcome to ask me if I’d like to be your main!

Please don’t be offended if I deny, though; I typically want to pick those I trust to be my mains as well as people I can comfortably write with.

Not limited to them! I roleplay with duplicates galore so don’t be afraid to hit me up if you want to interact!

Pre-established relationships are a-okay in my book; if you have an idea for a relationship between our muses we can work towards, hit me up! I reblog those pre-established relationship memes every so often too. Romantic relationships link back to the shipping guidelines.

Also, friendship/family/rivalry relationships are EXTREMELY valid to me - so don’t feel scared about asking for them!

10. If you have any issues, please let me know and hopefully we can resolve it!

Mun is actually super nice, so don’t be afraid to hit her up!

I am absolutely terrible with IMs and Discord. I either respond quickly or days later, depends on my mood. Social anxiety tends to interfere with this (and more recently exhaustion from work) - but honestly, if you’ve sent something, I’ve likely read it and just haven’t gotten around to it yet! It’s nothing personal; trust me!

Please leave me out of drama; I’m here to have a good time, as is everyone else, and it pains me to see people arguing.

This is a little different with callouts - if I see anything on dash pertaining to any problematic users, I will take it into consideration and rb it if I believe them to be harmful.

11. To retierate, I tend to follow those that:

Write para and whom I feel my muse would click with.

Seem chill? Tone can really intimidate me honestly.

Have rules and about pages! Knowing the boudaries of my rp partners is super important as well as their lovely muses! Sometimes rules are enough, though, if you’re going to write the about eventually.

Tag their nsfw.

Don’t have massive icons - ie, have rp icons that take up an entire text post like 500x500 or something. I don’t want to clog the dash and it’s tiring to resize them.

…also, if I follow your hub blog (provided it doesn’t double as a personal), it generally means I’m cool with any blogs that are attached to it.

12. On threads…

If you’re not interested in a thread anymore, and would like to drop it, please let me know! I’d feel terrible if we’re both not having fun with it or if partners feel overwhelmed with the amount of threads we have.

Honestly, unless I let you know, our threads have no expiry date - so no need to worry about me dropping them without telling you. I can just be quite slow sometimes.

13. Mun does not equal muse! Anything my muse might say does not reflect on how I think unless I explicitly say so.

14. Know that if I follow you, I WANT to interact with you.

I literally couldn’t care less about follower counts. I care about YOU guys and our interactions.

Hello, I’m Kathy, INFJ, in her thirties. Thank you for following HANZO HASASHI (SCORPION), KUAI LIANG (SUB-ZERO), and FUJIN (SHINJIRO ISHIKAWA) Satoshi Hasashi (Hanzo’s son) is a request-only muse as of now.

Muse and mun are OF AGE and my muse(s) are CANON DIVERGENT, heavily headcanon-based, HIGHLY SELECTIVE and EXTREMELY PRIVATE (meaning I am a mutuals-only blog). I am EXTREMELY SELECTIVE, due to my preference with MULTI-PARA AND NOVELLA THREADS that explore in-depth internal characterizations and thought processes.

✔ crossovers, alternate universes, multiship, OCs, characters from other fandoms, communicating (is an absolute-must and a pivotal part of roleplaying).

✘ godmodding, infomodding, not respecting my boundaries and otps, only approaching me for romantic/sexual relationships.

I will not rp smut with anyone under 21 in any circumstances. And do not expect my muse to have a pre-established romantic/sexual relationship before discussing the matter with mun. I don’t tend to write shippy things from the start.

My native language IS NOT English and I am a very self-conscious mun, I will try my absolute best to make less errors. Though, I regard myself to be a highly literate person with visceral style of writing with high standards. If I ever do, please don’t hesitate to correct or tell me. It always helps to develop my language skills.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero are intense characters, so plotting and communicating is extremely important and pivotal. I really don’t like to plot everything out beforehand, because the story becomes predictable and boring and I like the element of surprise (freeform, or winging it, whatever you want to call it). So I much prefer IC being much casual and more forgiving when it comes to it.

Don’t assume and read my stuff between me and my long-term partners and expect to get into such intimate and knowing relationship without ever get to knowing my muses. many weeks, if not months of development and back-to-back writing helped us to get there and if we only began threading each other? They are most likely going to be hostile and indifferent at times of what others are thinking/doing.

People don’t honestly play their villain as a villain and I have zero intention to bend my muse (especially for Scorpion’s verse where he’s a specter bound by Quan Chi’s dark sorcery), despite them thinking otherwise in his subconscious. Scorpion has twisted and warped sense of conscience and conscious and they will surely reflect on their introspection and internalization..

I try my absolute best to play them like canon in my interactions; because my replies may seem quicker to most people, but that does not mean I half-ass them or it takes less time to type them out. I try to be VERY IC (I try my absolute hardest), so don’t expect my character to be softened unless situations requires them to be so.

I WILL UNFOLLOW INACTIVE BLOGS AFTER A MONTH. Don’t take this personally; for I will refollow if you do decide to come back. I like to keep things on my dash at a minimal.

I. CONTENTS OF THE BLOG

This blog is heavily NSFW and has lots of NSFW-related contents. Untagged nsfw materials include VIOLENCE, MURDER, BLOOD, MUTILATION, GORE and such. I am multiship and multiverse, meaning all the monogamy (both m/m and m/f) exists all in different timeline and nothing will overlap.

I don’t mind doing threads that are non-shippy, as long as my muse has interest in them. You will find a lot of SMUT, GORE, ANGST, VIOLENCE. I don’t tend to tag all the time, although I try to do the most of the time.

Anon function is off for the time being. And a good reason at that.

II. SHIPPING/SMUT

My muses are biromantic / demisexual and multiship. I am also open to multiship with other canon/OC characters as well. Of course, it all depends on chemistry. And romantic/sexual relationship isn’t a prerequisite when it comes to exploring their character nor I find it a necessity, because they are not very promiscuous characters, although the mun likes to write smut more than occasionally.

III. LIMITATIONS

If you are not sure about something, then there’s always the ask box and IM for lengthy discussions. I am fine with writing codependent relationships, violence, gore and rape. Abuse (both physical and mental) is a big no-no for mun. It’s triggering and I still suffer from traumatic experiences from the past.

IV. FANDOMS/OCS

Primary fandom is Mortal Kombat Franchise as of now. I welcome any male and female OCs and characters from other fandoms. And I am more than eager to explore crossovers and creating alternate universes.

V. WRITING STYLE

I highly prefer my replies to be at least THREE SUBSTANTIAL PARAGRAPHS, most frequently multi-para if the plot requires it or is necessary, although there will be times I will settle for two-para or even single para replies. And be a courteous person and do try to match the reply length. I will not tolerate three or four paragraphs reply to one or two sentences.

I will immediately drop the thread if my length isn’t matched, godmod or force ship. Overpowering immortal characters do not strike me as particularly intriguing either.

Muse =/= Mun. While I don’t expect this to be a problem, at the same time I feel as if I must have this disclaimer here. The way Toriel acts, thinks, or believes do not necessarily mean that the mun holds the same views.

Drama is not tolerated here. Leave the mun out of it. She wants nothing to do with whatever is going on, and if this request is not honored, mun reserves the right to not only lecture her entire dashboard, but also block the offenders.

I will tag triggers if/when requested. Mun has one trigger, and that is visual depictions of hanging. Mun will also tag the more common/general ones, but if you have certain ones, please be sure to let mun know!

Please have available rules/about pages! This makes it much easier for the mun to learn about you, your muse, and what you will and will not tolerate. I’m afraid that if these are not available, then the chances of me rping with you are much lower than they would have been.

This blog is strictly SFW. This means there will be absolutely no sexual encounters or otherwise NSFW smut content here.

I am OC-friendly! I understand how difficult it can be to get an OC started in RP, believe me. I usually play OCs myself! So, yes, feel free to come at me with your characters; the only thing I ask is that you have a rules and about page for said OCs so I can understand a bit of what they’re all about!

No rudeness allowed. Between muses (IC), it’s fine. However, if it starts to turn OOC… we will not have that here. Constructive criticism is okay (especially since this is mun’s first attempt at RPing a canon character); if it ends up being something like “how dare you not ship what I ship!!!!11!!!” mun reserves the right to ignore you.

No godmodding allowed. Minor godmodding (i.e. you give Toriel a cup or something) is fine. If it gets heavier than that (i.e. you write that your muse outright kills Toriel), that is not permitted unless we have discussed it beforehand. Along with this, unless your character has a good reason for knowing/canonically knows information, please do not assume that they already know what’s going on with her.

Don’t stress over timing/length of replies. Mun is very easygoing when it comes to this. She can wait forever, seriously. You do not have to match the length of mun’s replies, either; as long as there’s something for mun to work with well enough, you’re good. Mun can do one-liners or paras, but prefers paras. Mun can also be rather slow in regards to her own replies. You may remind mun about your reply after a week if she hasn’t gotten to yours, since it’s very possible she’s lost it! Also, one very important thing: Do not pester mun and ask repeatedly if she will continue your thread. This will only result in mun becoming less and less willing to reply to your thread.

Regarding shipping: This blog is multiship. All relationships with Toriel take place in their own separate verses, so don’t worry about one overtaking the other or something! Mun’s personal favorite ship with Toriel is Asgoriel (Asgore+Toriel), but she’s open to others!

IMs are for OOC communication only. I am afraid I prefer doing my RPing in either Discord or on the blog itself; for me, IM rping is a little too difficult to keep up with. Hand in hand with this, is the fact that I am not always very quick to answer said IMs. I may be working on replies (90% of the time this is why I won’t answer immediately), I may not even be looking at the tab, or I just may not be on Tumblr at all at the time. So, please, if I do not answer you within 30 seconds, be patient. Patience is a virtue, after all!

You are allowed to tell the mun to shut up if you feel she’s posting too much OOC. You are also allowed to block her ooc tag, which is ooc: a silly little mun who worries too much. No hard feelings will be held, I assure you!

The mun will not rp with personal blogs. In short, there have been some bad experiences that have been had, and she does not wish to repeat these. If you are a personal with rp sideblogs, though, please let her know! Those are fully and entirely acceptable.

Lastly: have fun! This isn’t a job, it’s a hobby, and you shouldn’t be made to feel as if it’s a job! If you’ve lost the muse for a thread, that’s fine; just let me know! Mun doesn’t want anyone to feel stressed out over it, after all.

To show you have read these, please send Toriel your best goat pun! After all, she loves puns. A lot. This isn't absolutely required, but it is a nice thought! I understand if you have anxiety about it, though. After all… the mun is a little ball of anxiety herself!

REPLIES: I’m a rambler, okay. Like I’m actually one of the few people who like purple prose (think Anne Rice), and honestly? I’m aware it’s not objectively Great—but it is what it is. I would like to be a bit more concise so my words have more weight, but I don’t dislike my style, so. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also mad respect for people who can write tightly, I admire the shit out of you folks! STARTERS: If my replies are rambly, my starters are absolutely insufferable. I like to set a scene, provide some context, indicate the mood, etc. I don’t expect people to match my length except in the roughest sense, though, so we good. I’ve got a pretty healthy level of self-esteem overall, but I’ve never been good at making or keeping friends, and I always worry I’ve said the wrong thing or come on too strong or w/e. So if you’re not great at getting back to me, and unless you actually let me know why, I might well unfollow you because frankly, communication is everything to me. Characters frequenting Ishgard have good opportunity to run into her! ❀ The Waking Snowdrop Clinic - Her place of work. Established, opened, and run alongside a close companion of hers. Here she specializes in traditional Far Eastern medicines bolstered by her growing knowledge of Eorzean herbalism. If your character is looking for medical treatment or lives in the Brume, this is an excellent way to meet her.

❀ Once Blessed - I play Ane as the Warrior of Light who has, at this point, permanently lost her Blessing as of the ending of 4.0. I know Warrior of Light roleplay is not everyone’s cup of tea, and while I will not write it entirely out of her characterization for you, I find it often is not relevant 99% of the time. It isn’t something I tend to go out of my way to bring up (and I do not expect people to know of her, regardless of how this plays out in-game with the MSQ), and I am very content for it to not factor into roleplay at all. However, if you’d like to roleplay your character knowing her through this former part of her life -- be they a Scion, an interested canon NPC, or someone who simply recognizes her -- this connection is open to you! ❀ Herbalism + Gardening + Traditional Medicine - Is your character an herbalist? Botanist? Avid plant fan? Ane is, too! She has a very keen interest in gardening and is always excited to invite similarly invested parties to explore her humble greenhouse on the Borel estate grounds. Genres: I like scenarios that lead to character development! Angst with purpose, fluff, slice of life, and even comedic scenes are all absolutely welcome. So long as we are both enjoying ourselves and getting what we like out of roleplay, that’s what matters most to me. Playstyle: I prefer to roleplay on tumblr and Discord as I’m not very good at in-game roleplay, the exception being if we are meeting up one on one or in a very small group (think five people at the most.) I worry about how slow I am and that I am giving poor responses when it’s a very real-time scenario so. ; v ; If you want to play in-game with me, I ask for your patience! Length: I like to write one paragraph at the absolute least, tending more towards a few to several (or even pages), but I will often do my best to match my partner’s reply length unless encouraged to do otherwise.
