El gets sick often due to having a weak immune system because she wasn't exposed to germs as a child. She's also a horrible sick person.

Max somehow never gets sick, but when she does, she is WORSE than El.

They have weekly date nights where Mike and Will come over to watch the kids. They do the same for Mike and Will.

They have 3 kids, aged 5, 2, and 4 months. (I haven't picked out the names yet)

El doesn't have to work as the government pays her money to not tell anyone about the lab. However, she works in a small coffee shop for fun and an escape from the family.

Max works as a school counselor. She chose this job to help students who struggled with the same things she did as a teen.

El is very clingy. Max doesn't mind because it's El.

El takes a lot of pictures of her family. Jonathan comes over to give her pointers sometimes.

Max usually hates being in pictures, but she doesn't mind El's photography.

El still gets nightmares about once a week about the lab. Max is always there to hold and comfort her. El doesn't have a therapist.

Max rarely gets nightmares about Billy's death or her Vecna visions. She has a therapist she sees once a week to help her cope.

El loves all holidays. She puts up decorations at least a month before the holiday. Max couldn't care less, but she helps her decorate out of love.

The core campus of Beacon Academy is a heavily remodeled bastion fort whose original construction dates back to half a century before the Great War. The CCTS tower and the elaborate crown of flying buttresses supporting it are a post-war addition, along with most of the dormitories and the cafeteria building. North of the campus, situated at the base of the bluff upon which the old fort was built, is the town of Beacon—in practice, an agricultural satellite of Vale City.

To the east, the bluff overlooks a wide expanse of farmland bracketed between the Green River to the north and the Swan River to the south: this region is called the Maragda Valley, and is one of the richest agricultural territories in the known world. The eastern hinterlands are a patchwork of pasture and forest, with the Emerald Forest crawling between Fort Fresnel—which sits on the eastern border of the county—and the Lucibus Mountains.

Before the Great War, Fort Beacon was home to a holy order called the Knights of Iliaster, whose moral ethos and pedagogical tradition would serve as the model for the new huntsmen academies after the ratification of the Vytal Accords. The order had been founded several centuries earlier by one of Ozma’s most successful incarnations, Azaria of Pinemoor, when she united the fading and splintered factions of the Lucent Church, a Draconist sect, and galvanized the religion into a lasting institutional hegemony.

By Osiander’s time, the Knights of Iliaster had acquired an unmistakable whiff of corruption, being entrenched firmly in the hands of the Valean aristocracy and seen by the common people as less a noble order of valiant guardians than indifferent and occasionally cruel enforcers of religious law.

Upon assuming the throne, Osiander immediately set about repairing this situation by putting some distance between the Lucent Church and the royal court and purging the corrupted old guard of the knightly order. He installed Dame Hyemalis Vermeil—then the winter maiden, and scion of the aristocratic Vermeil family—as the new head. Under her leadership, the Knights of Iliaster secularized, opened membership to the common people, and gradually folded into the king’s retinue.

This, together with his decision to repeal his grandfather’s annexation of Vacuo and recognize the southern country’s sovereignty without a fight when Vacuo declared independence, made Osiander deeply unpopular with the Valean aristocracy and saw him excommunicated from the Lucent Church for several years, but won him the hearts and loyalty of the broader populace (and the Vermeils, who soared to prominence through the downfall of their peers).

Azaria has not let too much slip to me about her childhood, but she spent a good portion of her childhood/teen years on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. It’s where she met her best friend, @garbonzobeanz66‘s Zandi, and were each other’s only family for the longest time. Despite being a giant disaster avocado, she actually did want the best for her friend, and when a kindly couple wanted to take in little Zandi, Azaria made it happen.

And shortly disappeared thereafter.

He can be very inwardly focused, often daydreaming and getting lost in thought. Or he can be so focused on something that he forgets all else. In both cases, he can come across as absent-minded, distracted, and neglectful of himself.

As an honest and direct kinda person, he can be a bit too blunt. He is quite a loner, not used to much socialising or interacting with people, so he doesn’t always say the ‘right’ thing and can be tactless with what he blurts out, especially when feeling under pressure.

Almost contradicting the above, he can be very practical at times. He might be charging ahead into a situation without a plan, but he’s most likely got his bag of supplies with him, which is full of all sorts of useful things. He likes to be prepared for as many eventualities as possible. He can overthink things in this way and might end up overloaded with things he thinks he might need. And when it comes to the care of other people, he is on the overly practical side again, thanks to his grandma, so he’s the (mom) friend that’s always telling you to bring a coat in case its cold/rainy outside, and he always has an extra snack handy.

Once again, thank you for the Dempsey headcanons! They are freaking amazing! If you don't mind, I kinda wanted to add onto them with one of my own. So this was between me and my friend, she said that Dempsey is always choosing the wrong times to be romantic so me being the self indulgent son of a gun I am applied it to my oc, Azaria/Zari who's shipped with Dempsey. We just imagined she's down and calling him for help and he's just singing Careless Whisper. This was STUPID funny to me.

I won’t lie, I’ve wanted to put off this post.

There are a few things I need to get off my chest and a few elephants I need to address before I can really talk about my boy Raphael.

 If you’ve ever spent five minutes in the Good Omens tag, then you’ve heard of the “Crowley is Raphael” headcanon. It’s compelling to some people because the Archangel Raphael is a healer who looks out for humanity and snakes have a traditional connection to healing. Not to mention we don’t see Raphael in the show.

When I first saw this headcanon, I thought it was an interesting “what if.” However, it’s a “what if” that presents complications. Crowley doesn’t perfectly align with Raphael’s lore, which I’ll be getting into today. It also presents a bit of a paradox. There would need to be a pretty good explanation for why we humans know about Raphael and why we consider him one of the Big Four Archangels (ie Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel) if he’s fallen.

I’m not here to try and change minds. I’m here to enthuse about angels. So, if you like the Raphael headcanon, please understand that you need to find a good solution to a few roadblocks to make it work. I also hope the information I’ll provide is helpful.

If you headcanon Crowley as a different named angel, any named angel, I’m happy to talk lore and give information. Again, not here to change minds. At the end of the day, I just want more excuses to talk about angels without people assuming I’m religious. Also, I sometimes worry that the Raphael headcanon will drown out other voices/ideas and, well, that’s just not cool. The wonderful thing about fan communities is creativity and the stifling of creative expression is always something to be mourned.

My personal take? I think Crowley was a worker bee angel who very accidentally got where he is today. I also kind of like the idea that he was one of the fallen angels who taught humanity about astronomy/astrology as mentioned in the Book of Enoch, but my preference is that Crowley was essentially a nobody. It’s more satisfying to me to think that a nobody became the serpent in Eden and what not. If you disagree, that’s fine.

Okay, I’ve delayed things long enough. Let’s focus on Raphael, Archangel MD. Who is he and what is he about?

Raphael (God has healed) is one of only three angels that are named in any canonical text, the other two being Michael and Gabriel. This alone makes him the third most important angel we have.

He is first mentioned in the Book of Tobit, a text that is outside of the Hebrew canon and Christians are split on (Catholics say canon, Protestants say not canon). In the Book of Tobit, Raphael heals Tobit’s blindness and acts as a travel companion to Tobit’s son Tobias. He disguises himself as a a human, claiming to be a relative named Azarias (Yahweh helps). After a long journey and some miracles, Raphael reveals that he is one of the seven Archangels who sit by God’s throne.

After the big reveal, Tobias and Raphael reach their destination. Tobias wants to marry a woman named Sarah, but the demon Asmodeus keeps killing her husbands before they can consummate the marriage (rude). Raphael tells Tobias to smoke the demon out by burning a fish’s liver and heart. It works and the two humans can get married.   

Raphael is attributed as a doctor angel in a few other places. The Zohar states that Raphael is the one who is in charge of healing the earth and is a protector of humans. In other stories, Raphael helped Abraham heal from his circumcision, fixed Jacob’s leg after some celestial wrestling, and gave Noah a book of medicine.  

In the apocryphal Book of Enoch, Raphael is further established as an angel of healing. After the fallen angels mucked things up on earth, Raphael was tasked with fixing the planet. Along with this, Enoch names him as a Watcher and a guide to Sheol, the underworld.

Being a very important angel, Raphael is referenced to a number of times in other stories.

It’s thought that Raphael’s equivalent in Islam is Israfil, the angel who will blow the trumpet to announce the Days of Resurrection. Some believe that he tutored Muhammad before Gabriel delivered the Qur’an and that he cries three times a day over the vision of Hell. What’s fascinating is how Israfil is depicted. He’s gigantic, hairy, covered in mouths and tongues, and has four wings: one to cover his body, one to shield him from God, one that stretches east, and another that stretches west.

Here’s what I’m wondering, are the mouths separate from the tongues or does he just stick all his tongues out of all his mouths?

The Midrash Konen says that Raphael was once the angel Labbiel. Before God created humans, there was huge argument in Heaven over whether or not humanity was a good idea at all. Labbiel and a number of other angels supported God’s desire to make humans. Because God is God, He got final say. The angels who disagreed with God were burned (rude) and Labbiel got a promotion and a name change.

In Jewish mysticism, Raphael along with the other Big Four (Michael, Gabriel, and Uriel) observe all the bloodshed in the world and watch over the Four Rivers of Paradise.

In the Testament of Solomon, King Solomon needed help building the Temple, so God sent Raphael. Raphael gave him a magic ring engraved with a pentagram (the Seal of Solomon). This ring had the power to control demons and so Solomon completed the temple thanks to demonic slave labor.

Some traditions place Raphael as a guardian of the Tree of Life, which grants immortality. He also oversees evening winds and is a champion of science and knowledge.

Raphael’s angelic rank is...tricky. He’s called the chief of Virtues, second sphere angels who ensure that miracles are preformed on earth (so, in Good Omens, are these the angels who told Aziraphale he was preforming too many frivolous miracles? I like to think so. Virtues do outrank Principalities after all.).  However, he is also called a Seraph, a Cherub, a Power, and a Dominion.

I’m going to go with the rank my pal Johnny Milton gave him, which is Seraph. I also just really like Seraphim. They’re second to Thrones in my book.

Well, I invoked Milton, so now it’s time to talk about Paradise Lost.

First, Raphael is an important character in Paradise Lost because he is sent to go visit Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and tell them what’s what. Second, I’m pretty sure Adam has a crush on Raphael.

When Raphael is introduced, Milton spends a lot of time describing how beautiful Raphael’s six wings are and just how hot Raphael is in general. He’s so hot that his “glorious shape” is proof alone that he’s from Heaven and not Hell. Raphael tells Adam and Eve that he’s there to answer some of their questions. Eve decides to leave Adam and Raphael alone, presumably because Adam won’t stop making heart-eyes at the angel and it’s embarrassing.

Well, the narration says it is because Eve wants Adam to explain everything to her later, but I like my read better. It’s way less sexist and more fun.

So, Adam and Raphael sit and down to eat and this is A Big Deal. Scholars have argued for millennia on whether or not angels have physical bodies and if they operate like human ones. I’ll do a separate post on this another time, but this whole scene with Raphael is Milton making his stance known -- angels have bodies and they need to eat.

Milton also takes the opportunity to be much more woke than anyone expected. Adam gushes about how amazing sex is and asks Raphael if angels do it. After blushing, Raphael says yes.  Angel sex is the kind of sex that has no lust. It is instead a celebration of love among pure entities. Some scholars believe that Milton wrote this to argue that sex can be enjoyed without shame and sex can be beautiful.

Adam asks Raphael several more questions about Heaven and the nature of existence, which Raphael does his best to answer. One question is about the movement of the stars and Raphael teaches him some quick astronomy.

(I’ve seen several people comment that Raphael has a connection to the cosmos and this is the only piece of evidence that I can find. Did everyone get this from Paradise Lost? I’m genuinely curious.)

Regardless, Raphael being the “sociable angel” tries his best to explain God in a way that Adam can understand. None of the other angels have tried to get on Adam’s level like this, so it makes him stand out. Most importantly, Raphael tells Adam about the war in Heaven and Lucifer’s fall.

This conversation takes place in Books V-VIII. So, this lasts a while.

When Adam and Eve are kicked out of the Garden, God sends an angel to tell Adam how much life is going to suck from now on. You’d expect it to be Raphael, but sadly, it’s Michael. Michael is a much more distant angel, so it really drives home that Adam and Eve no longer have that same personal relationship with the divine.

Also, they can never ask their angel friend TMI questions about Heaven sex or admire his hotness ever again. And that’s why they call it Paradise Lost.

Dumb jokes aside, Raphael has very much earned Milton’s title of “sociable angel.” As both doctor and angel, he is closely tied to human affairs and has excellent bedside manner.

Could he be Crowley? That’s ultimately up to you. This Internet Person says no, but I’m just an Internet Person.

Rise of the TMNT Full Names of the Turtles Headcanon

So as I’m sure several of you are well aware, we got a new TMNT series on the block. It’s called Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which depicts our heroes in green starting out in their career as ninja vigilantes. There are a lot of new spins on the typical dynamics of everyone’s favorite band of mutant brothers. Such as Raph being the leader, Leo being more goofy, Mikey showing more maturity and Donnie being incredibly sassy.

Well when I think about that bit about Donnie being incredibly sassy isn’t all that new. Especially in his 2003 TMNT and Bayverse movie versions. But you all get the idea!

My point is that it’s a really cool new TMNT series and is definitely my favorite, second only to the 2003 - 2008 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show. I know a lot of people complain about Rise of the TMNT but they’re all haters. So don’t listen to them. I suggest you guys watch it and make opinions of your own! And remember that every show, even the masterpieces like Perry Mason or Justice League, have their faults. We still love them in spite of said faults. So please give Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a chance.

Now that we got that bit of fan-based promotion out of the way, onto the headcanon. Faithful watchers of the series already know that thus far none of the turtles, with the exception of Raph, have been called by the names of the Renaissance men that they are typically named after. In fact they have only been called by their nicknames so far throughout the show. Not to mention in the first episode, Mystic Mayhem, Leo referred to himself in third person as “Leon”. And in the episode Repo Mantis Donnie referred to Mikey as “Michael” at least twice. So that leads me to believe that the heroes in green have slightly different names.

With that in mind, I thought I’d make a headcanon on what I think those slightly different names would be like. I will also include the meaning of each name, it's cultural origin and how each turtle got their name. I hope you guys enjoy this ~

💙Leo🐢 = Leon, as he so stated himself. This name is derived from the Greek word meaning "lion". During the Christian era the name was merged with the related Latin word "Leo". This resulted in the two forms being used in an interchangeable way across European countries. The name Leon was also common among Jewish people during the Middle Ages. Chose this name because it rhymed with neon and often called himself "Neon Leon" growing up, much to the annoyance of his brothers.

🧡Mikey🐢 = Michael, as so referred by his second oldest brother. This is a Hebrew name that means "who is like God?", rhetorical question that implies no one is like the Man Upstairs. This is also the name of one of the archangels(if you have any Supernatural jokes please make them now) who was the only one identified as such in the bible. And in the Book of Daniel, in the Old Testament, said archangel was named as a protector of Israel. Picked this name himself because it sounded the most aesthetic.

💗Raph🐢 = Raphael, the only one who keeps his original name as given throughout the franchise. Another Hebrew name that means "God heals". Also the name of another archangel(again, make the Supernatural jokes already and get it over with). The archangel Raphael appears in the Book of Tobit where he disguised himself as a man named Azarias to accompany Tobias and his dog on his journey to Media. At the end of the long journey Raphael cured Tobias's father of his blindness. He isn’t mentioned in the New Testament, though. His younger brothers picked this name for him because the benevolence of the archangel matches the similar kindness of their big bro.

💜Donnie🐢 = Donovan, which April discovered to be his full name when she saw one of his self addressed reminder notes in his lab. Donovan is an Irish baby name that means "brown-haired chieftain". It was originally derived from the Irish surname version meaning "dark brown". The word "chieftain" has two individual meanings. It can either mean the leader of a people or clan, or it can mean a powerful member of an organization. This name actually fits given that Donnie has eyebrows. And the hair of them could be dark brown in color even though they look black. Having brown hair that looks black myself I know it's within the realm of possibility. As for how the sassy soft shell got the name it depends on who you ask. Leo swears up and down that he picked it so he and Donnie could have "twin names" since they're the same age. Meanwhile Donnie vehemently denies this and says he named himself that as a reference to the character from the Dead or Alive franchise, which is one of his favorites.

And that concludes my headcanon for what I think the full names for Raph, Leo, Donnie and Mikey are in Rise of the TMNT. I hope this was fun for you guys to read. 90s spiderman cartoon(spiderman the animated series/the amazing spiderman/1994 series)

Eddie brock is smoking hot.

Don't get me wrong. I love other versions of eddie brock aka venom. But that is the one i grew up with and was one of my first cartoon crushes.

Eddie brock/venom in that series was pretty creepy. But at the same time awesome. Without the high pitch n overly cheeseiness that venom voice is still one of the few that sends shivers down my spine. But eh some design flaws are there. But eddie brock is still done extremely well.

Anyways back to talking bout eddie brock. I do love the auburn hair. It suits him but they did that i believe because hank azaria is the voice actor so they tend to make the characters they play look like them in a way sometimes.

But maybe they also wanted to shy away from "big blonde jock" because of flash tompson in the show. Because flash had blonde hair. Also maybe they wanted to make an "anti peter parker" . So keep similar hair tones to know that.

Or maybe they just liked aurbun hair on eddie. Either way it looked sexy imo.

But the clothes? Oh eddie,eddie,eddie. Who the hell dressed you?

Also poor aunt may. Bless her heart for not knowing brock is venom. She might've had a heart attack.

But one thing we will never talk bout is that dr.kafka was completely unpofessional and wasn't really being a good therapist for eddie. That love thing was so annoying. Like wtf ashley? I mean i feel its more one sided if anything but why the fuck would you do that?

Ugh. Sorry bout that.

But nobody and i mean nobody compares to carnage in that show. Carnage creeped me the fuck out(still does to a degree) but i loved him. Perfect villain imo. Still is. And kassadys voice actor(dunno his name i apologize) best voice still.

Also loud noises hurting the symbiote in the show was a tad annoying but that because they had to simplify it. Its actually sonic and sub sonic frequencies. Like a certain pitch that hurts it. Not just any ol loud noise. But eh.

Never explored fire weakness with it. Maybe for a reason.

Anyways. I still love this show and if you want i can post up some theories,headcanons,and or my fave episodes and what i wish they could have done talks.

And ps. Mary jane. Your a fashion model/actress. Get a better stylist. Please. Love ya but damn your clothes are ugly.

Also pss. Madame web is the best thing ever. EVER! DONT FUCKING ARGUE WITH ME! also she was voiced by the late joan Lee (stan lee's wife! , R.i.p). So yeah badass.

Also psss. Also in case you didnt catch it the first time Eddie brock/venom is sexy in this show. Though i wish they could have shown his softer side a bit more in the show and saving innocent people like spiderman. But eh.

Hello! I really love your OC Zari! And it gave me an idea! Do you know that classical record easter egg from Der Eisendrache? I can see Primis Dempsey turn it on and try to initiate a dance with her. At first Zari is like, “Really? Nice try, Casanova but that’s not going to work on me.” But after she gives in, it almost feels like time stopped and the stressors of the current mission have froze away. It’s just the two of them waltzing alone. She swears she could’ve seen the stars in his eyes💫🌟💖

I can so see Dempsey turning it on and asking her for a dance, she’s amused by his attempts to get her to dance but when she sees those hopeful puppy eyes-well, how could she say no to him? 

And yes, they’re dancing so peacefully, it’s just the two of them in this moment. The stress or worries about what their journey may hold for them is at the back at their minds and all they want to do is cherish this loving moment between them. I think they would both hope that maybe one day, when and if this whole mess is over, they can have more moments like this. Where they can live together peacefully and such, but for now, they’ll cherish these small hours.

Azaria looks like a bit of a punk; with dyed hair, piercings, tattoos and a case of resting bitch face, but he is a really good and nice guy despite his social awkwardness and tendency for distraction. He's friendly and enthusiastic once he warms up and is comfortable, and he is an extremely loyal and protective friend. He recklessly follows his heart and curiosity, and often gets into trouble for it.

In a world where supernatural beings and creatures exist in secret, he is one of the few humans aware of them.

Azaria is a pure hearted, pure souled human, and as such...demons and darkness are either repelled by or drawn to him, though he has no knowledge of that.

When he was kid, a demonic spirit sought him out and laid waste to his family right in front of him. The demon was about to devour Azaria when an Angel appeared and fought it off. Azaria watched the Angel vanquish the evil and then disappear.

The Angel was Kyrin, and Azaria never forgot him, though he didn't know so much as his name.

Without his parents and sister, Azaria was moved into his Grandma's (Grammy's) care. Driven by the need to know more about his saviour and what killed his family, driven to be the saviour to other people, he threw himself into all kinds of research.

He isolated himself, losing any friends he might have had or gained, and grew up being known as that weirdo loner who was never where he was supposed to be.

Though close with his Grammy, he moved out as soon as he could, unwilling to be a burden on her anymore and not wanting to have her worried eyes on him. He moved into a cheap, rather shabby apartment in the city, working at various part-time jobs to pay the bills.

In recent years, the office space in the floor below his apartment became available and he was able to begin renting that too. He worked his way into bartending at a local bar, but prefers the shifts where he works as the security/bouncer.

His interest in the otherworldly has not diminished in the least, and he has had a few more encounters that seem to confirm some of his knowledge. He seeks out other people with experiences or knowledge and is always chasing and investigating in his spare time. He blogs and vlogs about his findings and everything on a somewhat obscure website, and he's set up an investigation service, which is what he uses the office space for.

He has the sense that something big is going to happen, and so he does what he can to prepare and has developed a lot of random skills and knowledge. He keeps himself fit and strong and will jump into any kind of fight or situation if it was to help someone else.
