                As  the  door  to  their  room  opens  to  reveal  a  drenched  Hope,  Jo’s  head  tilts  back  and  she  takes  a  rather  graceless  sniff.  Nostrils  flare  before  her  nose  wrinkles  and  she  brings  the  textbook  (  latin  101,  as  if  she  hasn’t  been  doing  that  enough  at  the  school  she  came  from  )  up  close  to  her  face  to  hide  the  ever-so-growing  smirk,  in  a  way  that  only  her  eyes  peek  through.  ❛  Thought  I  smelt  a  wet  dog.  Did  someone  finally  hose  you  down  ?  ❜  She  comments,  voice  curt  and  jarring.  It  isn’t  until  Hope  turns  to  glare  at  her  that  the  threat  Buffy  made  (  that  if  she  were  to  keep  throwing  darts  at  her  sister,  she’d  sent  her  to  that  boarding  school  permanently  )  dawns  at  her  and  she  altogether  drops  the  book  on  her  lap,  drums  the  pen  across  her  digits  and  clears  her  throat  as  she  pretends  to  read  across  the  book’s  pages.  ❛  What  I  meant  to  say  is,  you  look  different,  did  you  do  something  to  your  hair  ?  ❜  Like  hell  she's  spending  more  time  with  Hope.
