✖ A/N: YES I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND YOU. All I dream of is to play with his hair, is it soft? Tangled and coarse? Surprisingly smooth? WHO KNOWS I LOVE IT!

- The first time you braided his hair it was because it came horrendously undone mid mission and it was a mess. With frustrated grumbles and complaints coming from your partner as he quarrels with Rhaast you were at your limit. You sat him down, ripped some cloth from the corner of your outfit and delicately braided his hair for him. Almost intimate as your fingers run through his hair, bits of dried blood flaking off, the tangled mess somehow calmed in your hands. Working magic you turned his messy long hair into a neat and tight braid. Both him and Rhaast quiet. Kayn only giving you a soft " Thanks..." before continuing on his way. The cocky, prideful man didn't know how to respond to affections or soft moments like that.

- The second time was much different. Coming out of the bath, his hair was wet and tangled. Excitedly he turns to you sitting in your shared room, towel still wrapped around his waist. " Can you braid it again for me!" It seemed like he was thinking about it the whole time he was washing the blood off his skin. Maybe he just realized how nice your hands felt playing with his hair and fought against his pride. Who knows. You accept of course. It was nice. Being innocently close to him this way. The few soft moments in your life in the Order.

- Ever since then, you being the one in charge of braiding his hair was the norm. Every opportunity, every fight that left his hair free, he runs up to you, smiling excitedly, expectantly. A boyish laugh. " Y/N~" He coos, expecting you to come to his aid. To entertain yourself more, you soon started collecting bits and bops to tie into his dark locks. A red ribbon braided in for when you two were out in combat. Small flowers placed in when in the safety of the order. (Kayn was scary honestly so no other member ever dares says anything about it to his face.) Colorful clips and shiny bits in the privacy of your shared room. Braiding his hair became a special shared moment between the two of you. Something you only did for him, and something he only allowed you to do. His hair was also so delightfully thick it was fun to braid, there was so much you could stick in it without it falling out. It amused the both of you.

- Rhaast complains. A lot. Making fun of him. " The only thing in your hair should be blood of innocents Kayn." You shoot the Darkin a dirty look but all Kayn does is laugh taunting the weapon. " Rhaast is just jealous. Should we tie a ribbon around his handle?" The two of your laugh harder as Rhaast grumbles angrily. The two of you did do it by the way, wrapping the scythe in a ribbon as Rhaast screams threatening to take over Kayn right there and then

- Over time you've learn other ways to braid your partner's hair. The simple braid was his default, but in the privacy of your room, sometimes you let yourself get creative. A fishtail braid for when you two sleep together. A lace braid from his blue hair across the back of his head when you feel like seeing him a little pretty. He never protests, sometimes even humming happily as your fingers brush against his scalp. Letting you do what you want with his hair was special privilege reserved for his lover and you enjoyed that precious intimacy. Sometimes you'd even give his forehead a little kiss when you were done. He protests, but honestly, he secretly loves it. How soft you were with him in private like this.

- Zed commented on it once, when he popped by your room to give Kayn a briefing. Kayn's hair was done to the side, a delicate braid with flowers and ribbons. He didn't like being seen like this but it was Zed, hearing his mentor making a passing amused " Well that's different." remark made his face flush. Kayn was embarrassed but at the same time proud that his partner's abilities amused Zed. You had to stifle back your laughter at his reaction and what was effectively your boss giving you a shrug before leaving.

There you and Mr. Morningstar himself were, snuggling up to each other like there's no tomorrow within the comfort and constellation of his spacious room. The air had a wonderful fragrance of solace looming through aimlessly as he held you tighter in his warm, loving embrace; you were securely locked in one place by your beloved Lucifer.

The fluffiest blanket imaginable was thrown messily on top of both of you, swaddling your bodies as if you two were infants for the first time. His darkly-coloured curtains were drawn neatly, only a small space being left uncovered by the ebony fabric.

Your leg was on top of his, as a matter a fact, both of your legs were in a knotty tangled mess as you two snuggled within the grasp of one another—both of your bodies being pressed up against the other like leeches.

It wasn't often that these times happened, but when they did come, they were irreplaceable and absolutely nothing could come close to these treasurable, precious moments you shared with the demon you loved the most in all of the three realms combined. You were so thrilled and delighted to finally be his one and only lover.

As for the avatar of pride, he was astounded by how a mere human could store such strong feelings of desire, need and love within him. He was definitely not the type to be so keen toward these types of emotions, expressions and feelings, yet you broke that one thing he wasn't very fond of. He can't even complain, you're an angel if we're in a human body; a being of perfection. Every individual one of your curves, imperfections, insecurities was out the door for him, what quality could you possibly possess for him not to love you.

You were his muse and biggest downfall, his anger, sorrow and happiness bundled up into one small being. A distraction and something he had to deal with was what he thought of you from the start. That was all to it. You were some random name he chose from out of a pile of names— piles of names to be exact, which had every name of each human being on the face of the earth. But you, you were picked.

Was it fate? destiny? faith? luck?

He could never put his finger on it directly and pin his point down. Oh, how Lucifer pined to know how could someone as sweet as yourself come into his and his brother's lives for the greater good? You, just by being you worked like magic throughout the house of Lamentation, Purgatory Hall, The Demon Lord's Castle and practically the whole of the Devildom.

You united the beings of all three realms to become one and closer together. You made it so that everyone cooperated and grew fond of each other over the short course of time. By yourself, you'd swear an angel invaded hell, but no. It was just a human, but not an ordinary one.

So, time always went on and Lucifer grew fond of you, shared his life with you and most importantly made you part of his life. A crucial part. You became not a want but a need for him, he could barely cope without his precious beloved by his side, however, he'd never admit that. He would swear to himself to keep that stuffed deep down to the deepest depths of his mind; and believe me, it's messy down there. Reluctantly, he would refuse to ever spill something so sentimental to him.

There was simply too much love bubbling inside of him for a mere human, his beloved MC.

So coming back to his senses, both of your unconscious bodies lay comfortably in each other's arms. Lucifer's eyes were sealed shut, his pale skin hiding away the mesmerizing, glassy, crimson-red orbs which are stored behind.

Soon, the day became one with the night and it was time for morning preparations, you are a pupil at RAD after all and he is the head of the student council. With that being said, he awoke promptly. His pesky eyelids finally moved out of the way to reveal such sleepy yet captivating eyes which contained glints of pure passion stored within them.

He realized the position you two were tangled in, a small, baby-pink blush ever so sneakily and gradually creeping onto his soft, bare cheeks as he was utterly enthralled by the sight bestowed before him in all of its glory.

There you were, sound asleep in the far and wide place of dreamland as he watched you. The gentle, soft rays of sunshine slowly pour through from his window onto your body. Your beautiful, luscious locks of hair resting nicely but messily in a somewhat cute state as your skin gives off a glowing effect due to the sunlight. You were like a gleaming phosphorescence. So alluring and peaceful all at once.

He watched how your body reacted to these conditions, and was still currently admiring your charming beauty. His eyes scanned you all over, from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet, all of it. He could not believe you were still all his! Every inch of you he loved with everything he could ever have in this cruel world. He didn't know what he did to deserve this or how these such feelings came about. He did know something though.

You were his Morning Star and shone brighter than any light. 🌟

In fact, a number of new adventurers have been in the news recently, and they're even making today's headlines! Find out all about their exploits and tribulations. Here's a taste of what's to come for you ladies and gentlemen!

❤ Let's talk about our adventurers. Humans, elves, drows…not to mention each of their classes. Believe me, the battles fought will never be the same, depending on the tactics chosen. What's more, their equipment has constantly evolved over the course of their journey, giving them more spells and techniques, so they could adapt even more to their environment. So my dear readers, if you want to go on an adventure, you're spoiled for choice, but think carefully about the type of fighter that will suit you best. Oh, and did I mention all their clothing choices? 2 pieces to find out! ❤ Let's meet their group. Our editor was able to spend a night at their camp to gauge the atmosphere. At first they were almost scalped by a slightly drunk Githyanki, then nearly bitten by a hungry man, frightened by a bear and ended up suffocated in the arms of a very affectionate Tiefling. But after a few pints of beer and listening to the tales of adventure from an occultist, it became clear that this small group was much more than just linked by an oath of arms. In the midst of all the bickering, a warm atmosphere settled in, and clearly they would have liked to have stayed longer by their side. The man with the sharp teeth will tell you that they're mainly ‘a bunch of weirdos’, but ‘family’ is more appropriate. ❤ Among their tales, their greatest epic was their pursuit of the Absolute that threatened the world. Months of various quests as heartbreaking as they were happy, difficult choices to be made that would have led to more divergent paths, friends, enemies, betrayals…..a memorable expedition! They've also told us that they'd like to relive this adventure if they could, because with their experience now, it's certain that they could approach this chapter of their lives in so many different ways. ❤ But according to them, exploration was the best part of this quest. The scenery was always breathtaking, and they never failed to discover new places and new secrets, even after circling the area countless times. Even today, they are certain that they have still missed some hidden corners. The area around Baldur's Gate really is full of riches! ❤ As we followed our adventurers, we came across a famous minstrel who accompanied us with so many ballads and songs as epic as their battles. A real treat for the ears! The name Borislav Slavov was whispered to me. A round of applause for the artist! ❤ Rumour has it that a new form of magic called ‘mods’, developed by admirers of the group, has brought many new features to the lives of our adventurers. We're very grateful to them!

+/- The group told us, however, that they'd got off to a rocky start. They clearly hadn't mastered all the combat codes and were totally unfamiliar with this new environment, not to mention all the equipment such as scrolls, consumables and artefacts of all kinds….It was a bit of an overwhelming experience. It took them several days to begin acclimatizing, until this new way of life became far too intoxicating to stop along the way. So, my dear customers, if you feel like leaving with them, be sure to be patient and curious enough to fully experience the thrill of the trip. +/- So be extremely meticulous when arranging your inventory. Loot is plentiful and varied, but can quickly get lost at the bottom of your bag.

✖ Adventure isn't always pretty, you know. According to them, some battles were so full of opponents that it was almost ridiculous against our 4 poor (but valiant) fighters. And sometimes, the minions were stronger than the enemy's own leader! that must have been pretty anticlimactic. ✖ A strange magic was sometimes felt, as the world seemed to glitch around them. People suddenly lost their voices or remained immobilized for several seconds during a fight, objects disappeared from the inventory…brrr it gives you the creeps.

I feel like I've told you too much, but I assure you there's still so much to know about them and Baldur's Gate! Only 2 coins for a revue that could change your life and inspire you to go on an adventure. Who knows, maybe you'll become the new hero of the region, and the subject of my next issue ;)

how has tumblr rp changed since you started? well first of all we obviously all grew out of being sad and maladjusted teenagers and into emotionally unstable maladjusted adults and with that comes a certain level of structure. tumblr rp used to be a lot more chaotic. tumblr rp used to not include multiverse. tumblr rp used to be messy, sordid, astonishing, hilarious, wild. characters would cheat in real-time. imagine that! magic anons would turn your character into a child for two days and writers would just ... go with it! you used to actually, actually be able to write whatever you wanted which was good and bad and totally weird sometimes :)

what's my rp pet peeve? another one! i really can't stand it when i write a starter for someone and they request another one. i don't mind it as much if the person i wrote the unanswered starter for is sending me ask prompts - that's totally fine. but to request TWO starters from me when you have not replied to the first one? this is the greed they talk about in the bible, miss me with it

I really wanna do the thread you mentioned in your own post about Octavia tbh. Feels like it has a lot of potential! Maybe we can develop that in the verse where he's teaching her magic?

Not a lot comes to mind on what I wouldn't write. I know I have recently seen a lot of people talk about incest in the goetia, which is something I am not at all interested in.

@originemesis is pretty cool, their take on Adam goes pretty far in depth while maintaining the humor and oddities of Adam in canon. Its hard to flesh out a character beyond canon while retaining the aspects that made the character who they are in canon and I think they do a solid job at that, the way their Adam talks has a humor and wit to him that makes him feel really special.

5. ☣: A pet peeve about roleplaying

Writing a powerful character does not give you as the writer more agency then anyone else involved in the thread. You can write a character that can one shot everyone in the show, but if people don't have fun writing with you then you won't write at all. Its important to keep the desires of other writers in mind and compromise on things. You need to be responsible with how you write your god like muse.

Example: I write Paimon. He's a King in the goetia. Paimon might be able to show up and force Octavia into an arranged marriage in canon, or execute Stolas. He could likely do all those things and get away with it. But Stolas writers might not want him to be executed, people with Octavia muses might not want to be married. I can't force those plots on them if they don't want.

Ethically its the wrong thing to do, and also I just couldn't do that cause at the end of the day people can choose not to write with me!

You need to keep the desires of others in mind, if not for the sake of their own enjoyment then at least for your own future in the rpc.

Swynlake Weapons Safety Course Third Thursday every month @ 1700 - Town Hall All Swynlake residents who own a weapon; to include guns, bows, or any propulsion items, are invited to attend the mandatory Weapons Safety Course. Please bring all registration documents for each weapon along with proper personal identification. Experienced hunters and outdoorsmen still need to apply and certification will last five years. In some ways it has changed a lot but in other ways it feels the same because I keep a similar crowd as back then haha. Lots of shenanigans and "I will invade your inbox with my nonsense and you're gonna like it" hours.

I almost answered this upbeat, but this is about salt and I do remember a few things that I didn't vibe with from yesteryears.

Magic anon asks can stay buried deep in the past. Never liked them, never understood them, no thanks. It felt very demanding and I'd delete them on sight (if I post a prompt, I'm opening my character to receive that content, but these bastards appeared out of thin air).

Follow forever lists. Those were exclusively posted at "milestones" when a blog hit a follower count. Thinking back on them it felt more about posting the number of followers a blog had than an appreciation post, but that's my take. I'm guilty of them too and now that I'm a well-seasoned scrungly roleplayer, I don't know, I guess I grew out of it / bots made it pointless / I don't see a reason to broadcast the follower number now when a lot of blogs are archived / -blog / abandoned. Besides that, I much prefer people sliding direct into ask boxes or posting in all caps at gremlin hours about this person or that person because that's infinitely more genuine and heartfelt.

Last one. Posting a new follower a small starter as a welcome. Those stressed me out, on both ends, feeling obligated to write something or to respond. So many blogs practiced it at that time and my heart couldn't take it.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

A bridge where the guide loses its way

When I first launched Kena, for a second I thought I'd made a mistake and was watching a Pixar animated film. I almost pulled out the popcorn until the game called me to order. And what a way to start! From the very first minutes, the magic happens and you begin to appreciate the sense of tranquillity that the game exudes. But behind this enchanting vision, we gradually begin to glimpse the flaws in this world, just like the corruption that is spreading. And what if Kena is guiding us down a path that may be pretty, but also thorny?

❤ From the very first minutes of the game, we marvel at the striking panoramas and shimmering colours. The art direction is clearly meticulous, and the transitions between cinematics and gameplay are fluid, almost giving us the impression of an interactive animated film at times.

❤ The soundtrack is not to be outdone. The music is just as magnificent, with soaring orchestral passages and mystical chants. The sound effects also immerse us in the atmosphere of the scenes, from the soothing rustling of leaves to the menacing growls heard in the distance.

+/- Now what can we say about the characters in this world? On the whole, the game's characters are fairly engaging….but they lack any depth and are easy to forget. Secondary characters come and go; their personalities are barely scratched the surface, making them bland figures. And Kena herself isn't much more developed than that, and even if she can bring a little warmth along with her little friends the Rots, it's not enough to make an impact. The dubbing, while decent on the whole, is also rather uneven in my opinion. Some voices sound rather flat and are sometimes don't match the dramatic intensity of certain scenes. +/- The story is intriguing, with its world flirting with fantastic tales… but I don't think it's well exploited. First of all, we dive into it far too quickly, without much context, and its development over time remains too superficial. The game does attempt to address some rather mature themes and pertinent questions about the relationship between humans and nature, but we never really reach the expected emotional peak. +/- Let's talk a little about gameplay now. The world of Kena is full of various puzzles that punctuate our exploration. They are often inventive, with their mechanics linked to the little Rots, and evolve a little over the course of the adventure. But they eventually become repetitive and sometimes require excessive precision with no margin for error, which can become quite frustrating. +/- As for the combat, the Rots mechanic is well thought out, offering a variety of combinations and moves. However, the difficulty increases to such an extent that the peaceful little adventure game suddenly becomes an arduous and rather discouraging challenge, even forcing players to lower the difficulty level against certain bosses in order to progress. Also, you can't lock enemies freely and dodges lack responsiveness, making confrontations even more frustrating.

✖ Although the landscapes are stunning, the exploration isn't quite as exhilarating. The environments are fairly empty and repetitive, the map is confusing and lacks clarity, and the collectibles are mainly cosmetic, so don't give you the motivation you need to explore every nook and cranny. ✖ Finally, the jumping mechanics can be rather annoying, as they often lack precision and are complicated by some poorly managed collisions.

Kena would have made a perfect little animated film. As a game, however, it struggles to strike an effective balance between its zen-like atmosphere and its overly unbalanced gameplay. And while it immerses us in splendid environments, it doesn't quite achieve the emotional depth it's trying to convey. It's a bridge between beauty and frustration, but for a first attempt, Ember Lab is laying a promising foundation, and it's certain that the studio will only be able to consolidate these foundations to build more solid projects in the future.

Most of the sinners who had spoken to her so far had been a lot more interested in her T&A than the expression on her face, so their comments had been pretty predictable. The kind of shit she'd heard Savina endure without batting a perfectly-lined eye but most people wouldn't fucking dare bring up to her. Most of it, she ignored, but a couple of them got brave (or stupid) enough to try to touch her, and it was the last mistake they'd make for a while. This one, though, stood out. Not only because it was an observation of her body language instead of her body itself, but because it was the kind of challenge she wouldn't normally hear. Because she was out of her goddamn element. She was, for once, forced to defer to someone else's rules. And it irritated the shit out of her. "More like outta my fuckin' jurisdiction," she answered without much thought, naturally matching the demon's accent, glancing over the rim of her sunglasses to see what was clearly some kind of insect-type in 50 shades of pink. An insect with tits that rivaled her own. She'd never understand how that particular bit of magic worked: transforming (or maybe freeing) human souls from their earthly forms and turning them into...whatever this was. "The fuck d'you care?"

" I don't. " The demon's words cut the sordid, Hellish air like a hot knife. " I'm just curious how long ya gonna last lookin' like a fish outta water. " His tone was taunting as much as it were playful as he walked up to lean against the cursed brick beside her. " Ya right under the Pentagram, toots. All the fresh meat comes through 'ere, but'cha best off makin' tracks till ya get used ta bein' in the land a the Damned. "

He wasn't ignorant. He could feel the power radiating from her, within her. But whether she was a fresh Sinner or a touring Ancient... the same more or less went. The residing Overlords hardly wasted time in trying to get their grubby little Contracts wherever they could. Not that Angel gave much of a damn ( most of the time ) but he did find it more entertaining to watch Sinners who stood a fighting chance. There were his streets, afterall.

┈┈ WEAPONS

Ravyn’s main weapon is the engine scythe— a weapon crafted for him when he joined the Stellacrum ranks. It can fire particles of ravyn’s skill at long range, and makes a perfect dueling item at short range. Ravyn’s swordmanship skills or rather, scytheman ship skills are exquisite— a strength he has had for multiple years of his long spanned life. Ravyn also possesses the ability to create stand in weapons out of fire due to the demon inside him, using them temporary in battle. The sword can emit heatwaves and stores data on different enemies/ abysswalkers.

He also own two guns, named ebony and ivory, which go hand in hand with his sword and sit at the hip of his belt.

┈┈ ABILITIES

Fire based abilities granted to him by the dark, mysterious demon of fire. Ravyn is possessed by one of the ten God abyssals of Iona, something he cannot run from due to his birthright. Albeit for starter— unaware himself why the demon has possessed him, he is seeking answers in remnants of places on Earth that could trace him back to the lore of his former home.

Fire control: Ravyn is able to control and manipulate fire to his will, and can call upon his brother’s blessing of the Phoenix to summon large fiery wings in battle, to hit opponents from range.

Fire magic: He is able to shoot fireballs and perform ranged attacks with it, and phase himself through enemies with the power of the demon.

Underworld magic: Due to being possessed by a powerful Ionan abyssal demon named Rhaast— ravyn can call upon the behemoths power through blood and bone, and succumb his will upon his foes. He can shift parts of his own body into those of the demon, but this does not come without a drawback. Ravyn will be unable to perform any subsequent attacks after draining his life force to use these abilities.

DEVIL BRINGER: ravyn’s demonic right arm and evil eye. During the day and missions, it’s covered with a metal glove or an eyepatch.

The arm manifests as a spectral demon infused arm that glows red and electric blue. The manifestation of the arm came to be when Ravyn was gravely injured to the point of no return up to his shoulder. A response from his possessed demon offering him a source of power like melded flesh. It can have a normal look, but in battle it will always look monstrous.

┈┈ ARMOR

Ravyn wears different outfits— most often red and/ or fully black armor styled after a barren, ashen knight, or a messy mercenary. It resembles burnt embers and sits with high boots and steel, claw-like gloves. There’s a hilt to carry his sword on his back— aswell as a large cape, most often in black or red, depending on which outfit he has decided on that day.
