[primary goals in life]: become a hero & help kids who have volatile quirks. [languages known]: japanese & broken english [secrets]: jun is very good at avoiding conversations about his family. as far as the class/anyone knows, jun’s relationship with his father is merely strained. He’s mentioned his sister casually, but has never shared her condition. It’s something he considers very intimate and it would take a lot for him to share that part of himself with another. [scars/birthmarks]: jun has a small white scar above his right eyebrow, from getting hit in the face with a bottle as a kid - he doesn’t know if it was by accident or not. and currently two long, puckered scars on each side of his right elbow from where they pulled out the bone fragments. [quirk]: kinetic exchange! jun can store and transfer kinetic energy through objects, and to a lesser extent his limbs! he’s best at throwing things from a distance, and had near pinpoint accuracy in his right arm (great for crowd control). currently throwing with 45% accuracy in his left arm and 20% accuracy in his right arm. [restrictions]: jun currently has a three minute cool-down period that he must wait between using his quirk in up close combat vs at a distance. if he overuses his quirk, it puts tremendous pressure on his joints - mostly his hips and his shoulders. it can make it difficult to move his arms for days after.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG:

SPEED:  it really depends, but more recently it’s been pretty slow just because i’ve been feeling kind of depressed recently ,, i’m gonna try to queue up some responses tomorrow so my blog doesn’t just consist of aesthetic posts & stuff

REPLIES: pretty similar to above, but i tend to respond faster if i have a lot of muse for the thread (it helps if we’re screaming ooc because i’m easily excitable)

STARTERS: i don’t mind writing starters! that being said, if we’re just winging it i’ll have more trouble coming up with something! i usually just read through the blog of whoever the starter is for, until i get some sort of muse or something.

INBOX:  i’m super slow when it comes to answering asks ;; i have like ten in my inbox right now ,, i pretty much reblog memes faster than i can answer them lol

SELECTIVITY: i’m kind of selective?? i only roleplay with mutuals and i can be a bit choosy when it comes to who i follow/follow back. i’m not big on multimuse blogs because they can be confusing, and i don’t interact with ppl outside of the bnha community.

WISHLIST: i really wanna roleplay jun having a crush on someone, whether its unrequited or mutual. i’m even down to rp breakups because i love angst, so i’m always willing to hurt my boi,

HONEST NOTE: i seriously didn’t think i’d get as invested in jun’s blog, but i’ve met some really amazing people here and it just makes me so grateful that i came back to the rp scene. it’s a lot easier for me to keep up with indie accounts just because i don't have to worry about activity checks and stuff like that, since i’m a bit slow. but!! i’m just really happy i’m here.

Jun’s name can be written a variety of ways, but his father always writes it with the characters for obedience. His mother, on the other hand, always wrote it with the characters for genuine and pure. Main/Pro verse Jun writes with the characters for genuine and pure, whereas villain verse Jun uses the characters for obedience.

Jun’s room is chaotic at best. Discarded clothing, candy wrappers, and forgotten homework litter the floor and a small desk in the corner. His bed is never made; his sheets a patternless dark green, and his comforter fuzzy. He has a small picture frame on his night stand, with a photo of his mother and sister - the night stand, like most of the room, is cluttered with old recipes and forgotten notes. A couple books are on the desk, but they sit unopened. a cheap laptop sits near his pillow, faded stickers on the cover. he spends minimal time there, preferring to spend his free days roaming around and trying new sweets - usually only showing up to pass out for a few hours and then leave for class.

jun loves home cooked food. some of his fondest childhood memories center around his mother in the kitchen. she loved to cook & would always come up with creative ways to make her kids good food on a budget. jun & his mother shared a similar love for sweets as well - while his sister preferred sour. He remembers tasting different desserts with his mom around the holidays, and always looking forward to the pastries she’d make around christmas. 

now, jun spends the holidays at his sister’s bedside - sometimes baking up cinnamon rolls or bread for the nurses working.

...jun speaks really broken english. he’s a lazy student in general, but couple that with frequently missing classes due to hospital visits and the fact that learning a second language is hard? not a good mix at all. he knows basic catch phrases if they’re popular, but beyond that he’s hopeless. if he’s asked to speak english, he’ll pretty much go wide-eyed and stammer out some awkward phrase or word he’s heard from a commercial or movie.

WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE  ( THAT  YOU  ARE  POSTING  THIS  ON ): jun is a sort of adaption from a really old OC of mine. i’ve missed writing for him a lot, so I decided to try to port him over to bnha. it didn’t really work out and jun’s definitely taken on a personality of his own. but mainly i love angst a lot, and jun is angsty in abundance so it works out for keeping me interested in him.

WHAT  ARE  YOUR  FAVORITE  ASPECTS  OF  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE: i love that he’s kind of quiet and easy to overlook at first meeting, but is actually foul-mouthed and kind of mean. i honestly love seeing how far i can push him too, especially when it comes to his family. i’ve pretty much been thinking of head canons for his backstory a lot today, and it’s really refreshing to be able to play such a nuance character. he’s so desperate for any sort of platonic affection, or validation that he’s actually worth something that it makes it fun to role-play. WHAT’S  YOUR  BIGGEST  INSPIRATION  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  WRITING: sad music lol i mostly just toss on some headphones and jam out incoherently in a word document until something begins to stick. i’m still super unfamiliar with his voice, so ask memes help a lot too. kind of tossing him into different scenarios and seeing how he reacts. FAVORITE  TYPES  OF  THREADS: i fucking love threads that are sad. i want him breaking down, sobbing and having to finally evaluate all the emotions and self-hatred he bottles up. i also love having him make connections with other muses, and getting to develop both our characters simultaneously. i have no preference when it comes to length so i usually just try to match who ever i’m writing with. BIGGEST  STRUGGLE  IN  REGARDS  TO  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE: making everyone coherent and not gimmick-y. jun deals with a lot of physical and mental abuse from his family, and i never want to cheapen his feelings or experiences. it’s also hard for me to actually write mean muses because i usually feel like i’m going to upset someone, but i’m coming to terms with staying true to my character and also communicating better with other .uns.
