It was the after-party following the Italian Grand Prix, and Charles was drunk, celebrating with his entire team. On the other hand, Lando sat alone in a dimly lit corner of the club, holding a glass of vodka coke. He had finished P3 in the race, but to him, it felt worse than ending up in P20. Thoughts of everything he did wrong plagued him, overshadowing the podium finish. He knew he was the only driver with a real shot at the championship, and the weight of that responsibility exhausted him.

Lando was so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t notice someone approaching until a voice snapped him out of his daydream.

"Este pibe está re ido, boludo," said a voice with a thick Argentine accent, loud enough to pull Lando back to reality.

"Huh? What?" Lando replied, blinking up at the newcomer. It was Franco, the new Williams driver.

"I was calling you, but you seemed pretty lost in whatever’s on your mind. I’ll leave you alone," Franco said, starting to turn away.

"No, Franco, wait," Lando called after him. "Please, stay. I was just thinking about today’s race, but I’ll get over it."

Franco hesitated but then smiled. "You did really well today, Lando."

"Not well enough," Lando muttered, shaking his head. "I needed that P1. But whatever, I don’t want to think about it anymore. What about you? Why are you talking to the lonely guy in the corner? You should be celebrating—you had an excellent race."

Franco chuckled softly. "Thanks, mate. But I don’t really get along with the others yet. You’re literally the only one who’s spoken to me about something other than work."

They chatted for a while, the conversation flowing easily between them. Lando found himself relaxing for the first time that evening, but eventually, his exhaustion caught up with him.

"It was really nice talking to you, Franco, but I’m tired and not really in the mood to stay here much longer."

"Oh, don’t worry," Franco said, standing up. "If you want, we can leave together. We’re staying at the same hotel, right?"

"Are you sure? It’s not that late. You could keep celebrating. I don’t want to drag you away."

"Believe me, it’s okay. I had a great time with you anyway," Franco replied, his smile widening.

Lando felt his cheeks warm at Franco’s words. He thought Franco was really cute, and the idea of spending more time with him was surprisingly appealing. Eventually, they both left the club together, stepping out into the cool night air.

When they arrived at the hotel, Lando was only thinking about collapsing onto the king-sized bed and getting the best sleep of his life. But Franco had other plans.

As they stood in the elevator, comfortable silence between them, Franco broke it. "What if you come to my room? The atmosphere is different, and I brought some liquor from Argentina."

"I... I don’t know. I had other plans," Lando began, but he hesitated.

"No, you’re right," Franco said, quickly backpedaling. "You’re tired. I’ll just drink alone."

Lando watched the way Franco’s shoulders slumped slightly, and before he could stop himself, he found himself saying, "You know what... maybe I could stay. But only for a short time."

Franco’s face lit up with a smile. "Eso, dale, vení."

The "short time" Lando had promised turned into hours. They drank, laughed, and talked about everything, sprawled on the floor of Franco’s hotel room. When the laughter finally died down, they found themselves lying side by side, staring into each other’s eyes.

Without realizing it, they started to drift closer, and before either of them knew what was happening, they kissed. It started soft but quickly became more heated, hands tangling in each other’s hair. But suddenly, Franco pulled back, panic flashing across his face.

"Yo—I’m—I’m so sorry, Lando. This wasn’t supposed to happen. I’m just... just really drunk. This won’t happen ever again."

Lando blinked, his mind spinning. "You think I kissed you back just because? Let’s be real."

Franco froze, his breath catching. "What—what do you mean?"

"What do I mean?" Lando repeated, his voice firm. "Franco, I wanted to kiss you. Now do you get it?"

Franco stared at him, wide-eyed, and then, without another word, he leaned in again. The tension between them broke as they melted into another kiss, this one even more intense than the last. They barely made it to Franco’s bed, where the night took on a new and unexpected course.

At the end, Lando did get to lay on that king-sized bed and had the best sleep of his life, with the only difference being the half-naked young man sleeping beside him.

He promised you he would take you out, and make it the best day of your life. You didn’t believe him, but there was no harm in trying. After all, you had a huge crush on him, and that made you feel like he was asking you out on a date, which made you feel butterflies in your stomach.

You could tell exactly the moment in which you felt for Joshua. It was an spring afternoon, a day in which you needed to be completely alone. Daily life responsibilities had overwhelmed you that day, and you just needed time alone. Or at least that’s what you thought.

You were sitting at a local park, just seeing life passing by, when a tall figure approached you, sitting next to you. You looked at the man next to you, ready to start a fight. The last thing you needed that day was a random guy trying to flirt with you. For your surprise, it was your best friend, Joshua, the one sitting next to you. However after episode 4, Angel began to see Husk as a person rather than someone he needed to win over or someone who was just playing hard to get.

Husk on the other hand was first disgusted and annoyed by Angel’s tendencies, and he even thought he understood him without Angel ever opening up to him. After ep 4 however he also starting wanting to actually get to know Angel as a person. I wanna say cheesy stuff like Angel fell first but Husk fell harder…but I don’t believe that the case

They both fell for each other equally hard and both are absolutely smitten with the other bro…it took them a sec to get to know each other but they are in it deep now. Angel is absolutely in love with Husk and desperately wants to remind him that he doesn’t have to go through his trauma with Alastor alone, and he wants Husk to learn his self-worth and he won’t shut up about it. Husk loves Anthony through and through, and that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love Angel Dust. It’s just certain aspects of Angel are horrendously fake that Husk cannot stand, but he still loves all parts of Angel Dust. Angel has a little easier time opening up to Husk than vice versa but that doesn’t mean it comes easy. So Husk also wants to make sure that Angel feels loved and he feels like he's worth more than everything Valentino tells him. And he wants Angel to feel like he has control over his life, not that hes only good for being used up (gosh im thinking about Paranoid DJ’s Use Me Up i LOVEEE THAT SONG)

next is malta! his appearance is a little scuffed here because he was going through it in wwii, but he's doing way better in present day

obviously he was influenced by italy so he naturally gets an italian curl. i like to think that he looked up to romano when he was younger and started subconciously taking after him. i was debating whether i should give him thick eyebrows or not, but i think france's occupation cancels it out even if it was a really short time.

in present day i think he cares a lot about his architecture and tourism. i think he'd also be a bit of a womanizer due to the italies' influence on him but he definitely has a lot more decency compared to them. or maybe hes just toos hy to talk to them, that would be cute lol

last is morocco! she was kind of fun to design and i was thinking about her personality throughout while drawing her. i like to think that she is pretty intelligent and is capable of doing a lot of stuff... but she'd rather go smoke weed and have parties, so she feigns ignorance to get out of her responsibilities. on top of that, because of france, she is a huge romantic and can make people swoon for her with just one word

i have no idea if hima would ever make a character like this since his girl characters mostly appeal to cuteness rather than uhh sultriness? but i think moroccos laziness has a cute appeal if you squint hard enough. if he does make a girl character like this i think she'd be some sort of bait and switch or something

kicked myself in the feels today by thinking about bianca ft. a smol nico

so to set the scene: after a pit stop at camp it is now time for the huntresses to depart for their quest, and the di angelo siblings must part ways.

nico isnt too pleased to see his sister go. hes been quite happy at camp so far; playing with his mythomagic cards, taste testing in the kitchens, playing pirates and making new friends. why must she leave? no one's forcing her he sulks, wrapped in his sheets like a caterpillar.

he very nearly doesnt bid her farewell in his childish display of displeasure. hilal manages to convice him last minute however, secretly fearing the worst, and so he does, reluctantly at first, but warmth and reconciliation soon fall over the two as they embrace, both at peace. if nico knew then what he knows now he wouldnt have let go.

the touching display of affection both warms and crushes hilals soul. she misses her brother more than she could put into words. it was taking her everything to not break down there and then in full view of the world. dont you dare ruin this, she warns herself. breathe. we'll go over everything tonight i promise, just breathe.

the sound of nico's boyish giggles bring her back to reality. she looks up and meets bianca's gaze, giving her a long and lingering smile. the warmest she has, and from the depths of her heart she wishes her luck and safety. hilal cant shake off the heaviness in the pit of her stomach. something hot and bitter rises in her throat. too much.

grateful, and relieved to see nico will be well looked after, she grins and waves her last, the taste of freedom sweet on her tongue yet.

it was ten days left till hilal's birthday, and she had enlisted the help of nico to taste test for her a few new recipies for a cake. it was quite surprising how fast shed grown fond of him. she saw a lot of badr in him she thought honestly to herself. maybe too much, she worried. ill only wind up hurting myself and those around me by latching onto anyone. i cant risk it. she looked at her hands. i dont want to hurt.

her spiralling was interrupted by a chocolate covered nico demanding more sugar. the audacity.

"absolutely not young man. look at the state of you!" he stuck his tongue out at her and she stuck hers right back at him. he ran out of the room flailing his arms and wailing his injustices in italian. cackling at the drama queen that he was, hilal turns around to presume washing the tins and trays and ignore the growing hole in her heart.

not a minute later, small arms find their war around her middle. she blinks, and the air leaves her lungs for a second as she registers whats happening. a second passes, two, three...

the arms suddenly tighten and a face presses into her back furiously moving right and left. a few words are mumbled, but hilal cant hear anything over the buzzing in her ears. she looks down and half expects to have spilt something warm all over herself. no. its just nico. another muffled 'pardon me'. why on earth is he apologising?

then it hits her. a gasp alerts nico that hes been exposed. she turns around sharply to catch him but he squeals and runs off giggling. she looks down at her apron to see it covered in buttercream and sprinkles. she replays the scene in her head, dread building in her guts.

she holds her breath and reaches to the back of her dress where nicos face was burrowed just a moment before. her hand returns with chocolate and even more sprinkles. it hits her a second time and she realises his muffled words were in fact 'perdonami'. her jaw drops to the floor and an unholy shriek of laughter gathers in the back of her throat. she pinches the bridge of her nose and yells instead.

"NICO!"

that was the last time she saw him for a very, very long time. if hilal knew then what she knows now she would have held him back

welp this started as bianca angst, and i genuinely have no idea how i ended up with baby nico shenanigans. and then my brain said go forth and add more angst. i hurt all over ugh ;-;

bianca (according to the wiki) took her oath on december 14, was killed on the 18th, and nico leaves camp on the 21st.

also double meaning on that last line mwahahaha interpret it as u wish ;)

Yesterday was insane with work..i was working alone and the work was so much, I need to put in hours over the weekend. My husband and son already out of the house early this morning to play golf.

I don't know why they just can do it on another day, they are actually leaving tomorrow on leave. I'm so grateful to be alone for 8 days....

I will be working hard, but I don't need to worry about preparing food, driving the kids to wherever....its only me time.

I was very relaxed last night but did not drink wine again...i think red wine have a real horny effect on me....i did masturbate and slept well...not enough. But did sleep. I heard from the Italian again...he want to meet up desperately...but I ve asked him to rather meet someone closer to him in jhb. As I said he want more and I don't want to give him false hope. He did not answer me back.

I do not have any feelings for him, we did have fun times, the little I can remember. But it's my past.... and I've changed alot. I feel not comfortable to meet up. I don't have a deep connection with him....

It's the same way I felt when I saw Johannes, I did not feel comfortable to open up towards him, I don't want to share my life with him, I really don't feel the same ...we use to talk about everything....he felt like pathetic stranger to me....and I dont have time to listen to his money problems...he never felt suffering in his life...I felt it the past 2 years. Some months I did not know how to buy food .... because all the other bills was so much with my husband gambling all the money away.

And that was also a reason why I stopped eating...I felt there was not enough money for everything....

It's going better, and he actually have money to take the kids on holiday, and I have money again for only myself....that's why spoiling myself with the gym, my hair nails, wax I did not do the past two years. I really saw another side of life ....and it was an eye opener. It made me more humble...

So my blast from my past actually want to better my life...he actually also cares...he sent me link for my license renewal and made me to make an appointment, because I told him my license already expired last year. And he nagged me to make the appointment. He even told me he will take me there because it's not a nice road to drive in the evenings. But I said I will manage...

But yes it's done, he even gave me the canabis oil to sleep, that did not help, but he actually want a better life for me.... But I don't want to give him hope.... because I don't want him to get hurt....he's a good person and he deserves someone who can treat him the way he gives...he took his girlfriend on a holiday now, paid for everything, she's sick with breast cancer and will start chemo when they are back from holida

the fact his story later developed to be a city elf from the free marches makes it a little confusing why hes got an italian name but uh. dont worry about it.

i hadnt decided who he would romance either until i was playing for a bit so its just a happy accident he and harding ended up matching-- lace with her plants and earth theme, and feefee with his full name meaning flower and getting compared to sunshine. sometimes stuff just works out like that!
