sharing some pics of today’s liam memorial in lima, peru.

we sang, we cried, we mourned for our childhood/teenage idol.

it was a safe space to vent and i never felt more understood :( some fans shared their thoughts and feelings on how unfair everything was - someone’s child gone too soon.

it’s been hours and i can’t even fully explain how tight my chest feels. but please take care of yourselves, sending hugs to whoever needs it <3 be gentle and patient with yourself.

I am so infuriated at the missed potential and opportunity for the AVP franchise!!!

We already had Dan Trachtenberg’s Prey to show us how successful this concept can be if delivered perfectly. And now they had an animated show in production that was cancelled. AN ANIMATED SERIES COME ON!!

It would have fit so well for the AvP aesthetic and action scenes. It would also give the opportunity to expand more of their lore. Shouldn’t that be the goal? Its what the animated Clone Wars and Star Wars:Visions is doing for the Star Wars Franchise!! Do they even want to make films anymore at this point??

I am just disappointed on and on at the current decisions that Disney is doing- Shelving and cancelling shows before they even see the light of day, not giving proper environment for their writers and CGI/VFX artists to be able to create and craft a well-written story.

They’re not making films for the audience or making films for Art’s sake anymore. Its all CAPITALISM now.

I just hope with every fire in my heart that the AVPverse gets out of Disney’s greedy hands and in the hands of a Studio that would LOVE and care for its universe, respect its characters-

Give us a unique Yautja that loves art! And is amused when he sees some paintings in Paris or hears an opera house on his first hunt on Earth!

Give us an animated episode of a Yautja on a hunt for Bad Bloods during Edo Period Japan!

Show us Yautja brothers in the beginning of their training and how they learn the values of an honorable hunter!

Take us to their homeworld, give us an aspiring Yautja matriarch who is eager to learn about their culture and their history with the Xenomorphs!

I just wish someone with the power and money would give so much love to this franchise because there is so much to tell and expand!

i hold geto suguru very dearly to my heart because his story is genuinely devastating. as someone whose own depression got so severe throughout these past few months and has always been a prevalent obstacle in my life, seeing the way his livelihood deteriorated was eye-opening to my own struggles and kind of offered this lens as to what i looked like dealing with what i was. (especially in the context that i am not surrounded by people who understand the depths of mental health, no matter how much i could explain it)

the worst part about it all is that in the end, he knew what he was becoming and accepted it, not wanting to be saved no matter how hard his loved ones wanted to. in the end, i find his story can be a cautionary tale to some degree, yet... suguru could have made it. he had the potential all the way through.

You deserved so much more hugs, flowers, love, respect and understanding from this world. A person like you could never be replaced or forgotten. I wish more people had your kind heart and understanding nature. Maybe this world would truly be a better place. I really hope and pray that you have found true happiness and peace in heaven. What if I was your servant and you promised me a better life and I believed you and then you used me and resented me I saw you at your worst and I held the attention of someone you loved despite the fact you treat them like shit and so you took out your anger on me all the cruelty in the world and as I suffered you sat back with a cup of tea and smiled and you killed your beloved in front of me just to prove a point that they belonged to you and all I can do is watch and then when you just can’t stand the sight of me anymore you cry loud enough for the world to hear you that I’m the dangerous one, a wicked seductress, a witch, and I burn and burn and burn and you go home and laugh, relieved of this burden, the world sings your praises yet you are nothing but alone and miserable and I crawl my way in i appear in your mirror I breathe down your neck you bleed all my blood and you drown in it and it’s funny really how for someone who’s supposedly so evil all I have to do to provoke you is stare with honest eyes and that sight just pushes you over the edge and you have the fucking audacity to scream, plead for help, to actually sob about it like you’re the victim like you’ve always been the poor little victim and you tighten your rope and breathe your last breath and I embrace you from behind and drag my teeth across your neck and dig my nails into your chest and you wait for it to fade to black but your eyes refuse to close and I squeeze over your heart and feel it beat faster and faster and we laugh together and we both know I can see how pathetic you really are and I just keep holding you tighter because I don’t want to know what’d happen if I let you go I don’t think I could ever take my eyes off you again and you could’ve apologized to me even once but you never fucking did and you never will and the world will always see you as the beautiful tragic victim, the hero this town needed, and when they think of evil my face will always be the one they see every fucking time and so I refuse to let go and let you go on believing you’re a saint, committing every atrocity imaginable and using my name to do so, you’re going to hell with me and we will burn and burn and burn and we’re literally both girls 😳🙊🙀

(arcane spoilers) im not really in touch with what 'the fandom' is saying but i have seen multiple people responding to apparently 'the fandom' being mad that Jayce tried to destroy the weird magic cult thing, which im just surprised at? I thought people didnt like weird cults. like i cant quite parse what was going on with that place but there was definitely some manipulation and mind control at hand (not even sure how much Viktor was even aware of it too)

i mean, i assume people are just sad he had to attack Viktor about it but like... weird mind control cult thing is ok as long as sad boyfriend is in charge? is that really it?
