they have multitudes.. you can ship it as something goofy and fluffy or as the most toxic yaoi of all time and theyre both pretty reasonable interpretations. they go on a date together and have sex in a cardboard box on a beach in canon and a bunch of other crazy shit. their relationship spans 20 years so they span from honeymooning to divorced to one trying to kill the other etc. "love loses" the ship they make me insane

"hiya, seok," you reply in turn, kissing his knuckles as you chuckle at seokmin's smiling face. "is something wrong?"

seokmin shakes his head, still grinning up at you as he sighs deeply. "nothing's wrong, baby. i just love you so so much. i appreciate you and adore you for everything you are to me, and i could never replace you. you're the moon to my sun and the night to my day, and I'll forever be thankful that you're mine."

you raise your eyebrows at your boyfriend's deep admission, just as enamored by his sudden confession as you are slightly confused.

seokmin always said how much he loved you at the most random times of the day, which you always appreciated. he never failed to let you know how much he cared about you, and you smiled when he would come up behind you, kissing the shell of your ear as he whispered how much he adored you.

for some reason, you could sense that this wasn't one of those times. seokmin was grinning up at you like you were the funniest statue to ever be built, and as much as you adored his cute little grin and even cuter sparkling eyes, you had to know why he was doing what he was doing.

"seokmin?" you ask, and seokmin sits up slowly, fluffy bangs still in his eyes as he tackles you in a tight hug. laughing, you let him take you down, hitting the sheets as his muscled arms encase you.

"seokmin! what are you─" your voice is muffled by a sudden kiss on the lips, and you sigh under him, running your hands up his chest as he grins under you. once he pulls away, you're breathless, thought completely gone as you stammer in surprise and confusion.

"i'm a bit tipsy, baby, i'm sorry. seungkwan brought me some leftover soju he had at his house, and i guess i got a bit too carried away." the blush on seokmin's cheeks is just adorable, and you can't help but peck his nose, lighting up even more once you hear the giggle from him.

"'a bit' is an understatement, isn't it, seok?" you jeer lightly, and seokmin nods, still holding onto you as he smiles.

"yeah, it is." seokmin pulls you in between his thighs, and you giggle, seokmin matching your flustered laugh as he peppers kisses up and down your neck and collarbone.

"oh my god." you sigh, getting swept away in the feeling of seokmin's soft lips and sharp nose pressing against your skin. "you're so clingy, seokmin, why?" the elated giggle that erupts from you makes seokmin even more confident in his ministrations, and he pulls your shirt down a bit, revealing your shoulder as he nibbles at the skin.

"i missed you, baby. i missed you so much," seokmin sighs out, voice low as he softly kisses the spot he just bit. you sigh at his action, pulling him closer to you as he wraps his arms around your waist.

with his head against your chest, you kiss the top of his head, basking in his cologne as you sigh against it. seokmin giggles, muscled arms warm around your waist as he mutters an apology.

"i'm sorry, baby. i just wanted to cuddle, that's all." his voice sounds so apologetic, and you pull him away from you, your hand cradling the back of his head as you shake your head, pressing a kiss to his nose as he scrunches it in reply.

"you can always ask to cuddle with me, seokmin. i love the feeling of your arms around me, you know that?" you question, and seokmin nods, the soft smile on his face making his tipsy side one of your favorite sides of him.

(not as if you didn't already love every side so very much).

The hardest part of writing this kid fic has been deciding whether Andrew should be called dad/daddy or papa by their kid.

I had a mini crisis before when I was rereading the series and realized he and Neil predominantly use the words 'father' and 'mother' in convos. And I refused to accept a reality where they make their daughter address them that way, that's where I draw the line.

Neil says mother/father 99% of the time unless he's lying (like to Bee) or speaking to Mary aloud as mom. So Mary was definitely mom, Nathan ??? Who knows.
