Class, I'd like to talk to you today about prejudice, and how it still exists in today's world. I didn't even know that till last night, when I saw a real smart, totally cool Asian girl crying her eyes out because some idiot at the mall called her a bad name. My lesson for today, is that when people treat other people badly because of their skin color, or their religion,or where they come from, then real smart, totally cool people can really suffer.

rewatching the first 10 minutes of s1ep1 since the end of s2 and i'd forgotten that in the first five minutes they hint HARD that the end-goal for daniel was being turned. that's absolutely what he meant with "worthy of my story now". louis would let him hear his cautionary tale, they'd tell him they let him live out a full human life, and then turn him. it's absolutely how louis sold letting the interview happen to armand. louis just always had another card up his sleeve.

louis knew something was wrong with his life and he hid his fears behind the one person he knew armand could be distracted by.

Some of you didn't grow up with Jamie and Adam telling you failure is always an option and that is okay, you just gotta approach the problem differently. Or if you did, you didn't internalize that message. (Also Meet the Robinson's anyone? From failure you learn!)

Seriously! So what if your first attempt fails? Try again! Do something different! Sometimes solutions aren't always clear and we have to be creative! It is okay to fail! Its okay to even walk away from the problem entirely and try something completely new! Just don't let that failure bog you down and fester.
