And it's only... 51 days late. It's fine it's fine #Thanks to everybody in the dfpu chat who helped me come up with stuff to doodle for the border. It was a big help and a lot of fun!#we really did recreate what is going on in the drawing!#also thanks to snails muffin and terror for the animation pointers & terminology #Smear frames were def the way to go! Not whatever I was trying to do before asking for help #I guess this counts as my first *real* animation so hooray!#I *might* use some of the remaining prompts for future drawings but at this point I have other things I want to work on #even though I was only able to finish a few of these I felt like I still learned a lot #it definitely got me into the habit of drawing every day #and I'm still doing that so this event was a big win in my book!#and no joke I really did color pick from the load cursor just so I could do the silly spinning thing

Honestly you should probably pick a starting point haha. It's a Very packed mythology. I started with the trojan war and am working my way outwards. You could start with the theogony, or the argonauts, or really anywhere. You could pick a hero and start from there

And yes I’m gonna be 500% delusional and say that YES, Mel and Sevika DID meet. Mel recognized that Sevika was a prominent figure in Zaun at that burning paper memorial and using her beautiful partially manipulative green eyed powers, she convinced Sevika to take her spot on the council because she “can never return to that life” because of what she is now.

And YES, Sevika reluctantly accepted—mostly because she knew it would be the best way to get Zaun what it needs, but also because she was DEFINITELY intrigued by Mel’s fine pure 14k gold ASS.

Sevika took one look at Mel and was like “Damn, they was making them like this up here? I shoulda came sooner.”

And yes they’re long distance girlfriends while Mel travels to figure out her powers and Sevika has her desk job as a Zaunite-Piltovan Counselor with dual citizenship and a nice apartment. And YES Mel comes back to visit her several times a year and brings her gifts from her travels.

Hi, I was just wondering how you do all your highlights and shading because ur characters always look so shiny! Obviously you don't have to tell me tho, I adore your art.

Hey there! I've done a few tutorials actually if you check my 'tutorial' tag. Some thorough, some quick. I have already mentioned before that I'll do a more deeper explanation on the process a while back and I'm still working on it!! Got at basic outline done but the writing is separated via notes or other apps, just gotta clean and compile :'D

It's text heavy so I'm going to have to cut a lot of pieces out or shorten it, but hoping it gets the point across! Of course it also has a image to go along with so we can work on it together :) Let me finish my current workload and I'll get back to this, sorry for the delay guys u-u
