So, I've written before about how our relationship with predators would probably intimidate aliens, but I just pictured another way we interact with predators that is honestly just as scary from an outside perspective: we pretend to be predators and even make up new ones, all just for fun.

Now, we also adopt predator patterns for utility: wearing striped makeup for camouflage, imitating roars and bird calls, etc. But I'm specifically talking about the video I just saw from Creature Bionics of creature rigs designed for a human actor to better do motion capture. I'm talking about voice actors and sound designers creating new and terrifying clicks and roars and growls because lions' roars just aren't scary enough. I'm talking about adults dressing up as plush monstrosities to entertain sports fans and children. Gritty is terrifying, objectively.

One day at an early meal, human Janet seems confused when her alien crewmates start asking about a shape-shifting monster that they keep seeing in human culture. They ask her what it's like to live on a world with "dogjons;" animals that can shift from a fan-headed creature with eye-covered wings to an amphibious eel-like figure, humanoid but not human, to a death-pale monstrosity that chases anyone who dares get near its food. Human Janet is confused until they say that the pale figure has eyes in its hands; bloodshot, and glassy.

"Oh, Doug Jones! No, he's not a monster, he's just a really good actor. Too good—the Shape of Water awakened something in me, specifically."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, let's just say the lady 'mating' with him isn't a horror story, it's a fantasy." Human Janet says, like it's nothing. Then something seems to occur to her, and her eyes brighten with what the aliens are quickly learning is mischief. "Oh my god. Am I the one who gets to explain monster fucking?"

Elsewhere, an alien accompanies xis human friend on a day out with their young. There's some kind of show being put on for human youth and Xlibthar is excited for this insight into how humans get Like That. Imagine xis surprise when the lights go up on the entertainment platform and a horde of creatures rushes up. They are large and bright yellow, with big black eyes as dark as singularities, with bright red spots on their heads that clearly indicate venom. Xlibthar shrieks and shields xisself behind Akio and Hinata, sure that something has gone terribly wrong.

"What are those?!" Xlibthar demands, quaking in xis shoes.

"Those? Oh, they're just Pikachus." Akio does not seem even the slightest bit distressed, and five-year-old Hinata is absolutely losing her mind with excitement at the sight of these garish monstrosities.

"What. On Earth." Because this could only happen on Earth. "Is a Pikachu?"

"It's a Pocket Monster. It's a series about monsters that battle with each-other. Pikachu is a mouse that can shoot electricity out of its body."

Xlibthar stares at Akio, wondering if this is an example of what humans call "gaslighting," because keeping monsters in your pockets sounds too insane even for humans. And, "you bring these things around your CHILDREN??"

"I mean, they're not real." Akio puts his hands over Hinata's ears. "They're just people in costumes. Though Nintendo would never let you see one with its head off."

Xlibthar has many questions: why? What? How? What? But one question has been answered: if this is what entertains human youth, it is exactly why Humans are Like That.

Hey I am the same guy as Dat-lil-shark who has been commenting on all of your Tfp wings of fire arts. I am asking through this blog because it’s my main and tumblr won’t let me switch blog for asks. Anyways I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU HAD WITH IT. ITS A WONDERFUL AU!! Please

Allow me to cook some headcanons of my own for this AU. I’ve been having an autism crisis with it all afternoon.

The dragons and the scavengers (humans) did not live on the same continent and were not aware of each other’s existence until the war broke out, and the dragons dried all the resources on their continent, so they fly away until they found the human continent, still full of resources. In the prehistorical time, the animus dragons in this world put their power inside this world’s version of the Matrix, before all lived in loneliness and let their bloodline die. So there would not be any animus magic born for the unworthy, only those that were chosen by the Matrix.

Shockwave received his animus magic through unnatural means (my guess is through injecting himself with blood from past animus dragons, or through tempting with ancient taboo animus objects. (Potentially half of his face rotting away was a side effect of this)).

Optimus restrain from using his animus magic unless absolutely necessary because he had potentially conceived a grave mistake with it in the past, and potentially, in some way, a mistake that lead to this war. Or he was simply afraid of loosing his soul and hurting those around them. Or potentially. Potentially, the animus magic within the Matrix was not infinite and when it was passed to Optimus, there were only limited amount left, and he got to save them.

Back in the days half breed dragons were very much frowned upon, and because of so, before being chosen by the Matrix, Orion was very much abused. And because of so, Megatronus help him out and protect him and that’s how they became friends. That was also why Optimus not adopted so half breeds, because he was one of them.

Now, Decepticons were also not tolerant of half breed dragons partly because of old traditions, and partly because Megatron was always reminded of Orion when around them.

Ratchet is also an alchemist, and so is Rafael.

Ratchet collects a lot of herbs and rare animals to create his potions with, which Bulkhead always loved to steal and eat when he’s not watching (he got his tail bitten).

And the humans were only in the medieval era.

The Jasper in this version is located near the sea instead (both allows the Jasper Trio to be the first who met the dragons, who came from the sea, and allowed all the Seawings and half Seawings of the Autobots to be comfortable.) and potentially on an island or a half island which still kept them somewhat isolated and remote form the rest of the human continent.

Despite so, Miko was one of the jungle people, and was a traveler who came from afar, hence her bravery and desire for adventures. Since she had been fighting snakes and jaguars all her life she thought fighting the dragons would be the same (it’s not).

Miko loved to use Bulkhead’s entire back as a slide. She also always cling onto his tail when he went for missions so she could sneak away with him.

Arcee disguises herself as a shark and every time Jack was going to hang out with her, he lied to June that he was just gonna chase the shark away from the fish they were farming.

Jack was involved in a few boating races against Vince, and when they did, Arcee was swimming below Jack’s boat, pushing him forward while making it seem he’s just boating faster. Wheeljack always accidentally burn everything around him and was NOT sorry.

The autobot dragons tried to disguise as normal animals to the best of their abilities (crocodiles, shark, lions, etc)

Dark energon also worked similar to the Othermind, and Megatron was so addicted to its fruit that it’s now the only thing he eats.

Silus skinned Breakdown after his death and drooped his scales over a machine dragon that he created. He also claimed that he was the one who took down this dragon and now his townspeople praised him as the Dragon Slayer.

During Operation Bumblebee, M.E.C.H. had clipped the tip of Bumblebee’s wings to study, leaving him unable to fly (and later it healed naturally) and later they did the same to Starscream.

And this was inspired from your design and not the original plot:

Predaking the Skywing suffered from poor sleep and health due to his constant negative mood string from what happened with his race (which lead to dark eye circle and dull scales.)

I really like that you focused on the human characters of this AU!

The fact that Jasper located on the coast is a simple and at the same time ingenious move, since it would really solve many problems such as dragons base and variants of humans vehicles!

For example, humans could transport materials and huge mechanisms on ships that were escorted under and above the water by autobots (as in the "Convoy" episode), so the dragons will remain invisible

The idea of boat racing is generally brilliant, as is the detail that Arcie helped Jack while pretending to be a shark (this is not noticeable on the art, but according to my idea, her tail is really very similar to a shark))

I also really interesting about what type of role will play Agent Fowler in this version. Given the medieval setting, he could either be a local count or a knight of one of the lords, somehow having a connection with the king and following his orders to keep the "beasts" away from people

June could also be a local healer in this AU and sell medicinal herbs and infusions (and send her son for ingredients). She might be a great help to autobots, telling Retchet about the plants of the new continent and their effects on organism, which would help him create new medicines. She might even have helped Retchet find a cure for the Othermind infection (while saving Raphael life after Megs attack)

I also really like the detail that Shockwave wasn't born with animus power, but acquired it, and now it's destroying his body. It's even tragic to some extent (especially for Soundwave). But it also works very cool to reveal the character. Perhaps, like Stonemover, he preferred to pay for the use of magic not by destroying his mind, but by destroying his body (idk, this is just so true for him)

So, again, thank you very very VERY much for all of these theorys!

I'm already whant to make many of them a part of this AU canon!

Ollie's Hermitcraft Fantasy AU (HCFAU)

okay i said i would explain this so here i am.

in this universe each person has the choice to specialize in a certain activity, and depending on what they chose they get powers to help them along the way. the more someone hones their craft, the more their powers grow. the truly ambitious work on more than one specialty, expanding their powersets to whatever they're working on.

although there is some correlation between species and specialty, this is not because certain species are born with powers but instead that they have a tendency to go for certain activities, and thus get the powers relating to that.

the powers given are as follows:

builder - extra strength in order to carry around building materials. often have some form of mobility (such as wings) in order to navigate around builds.

terraformer - can control the earth around them to do their bidding. can easily grow plants of any kind extremely quickly. often elves due to connection with nature.

fighter - extremely strong and fast, can easily dodge attacks. perceptive. usually either humans or a hybrid of a 'strong' animal (ex, bull, tiger, etc)

redstoner - INSANELY good eyesight. can go without food or water or even sleep for longer periods of time than normal. have dark vision. often demons, gargoyles, or dark elves.

explorer - super speedy and agile. keen sense for biomes and where they are. excellent navigational skills and have a mental map that spans MILES. usually rodent or small animal hybrids (rabbits, rats, birds)

entertainer/story teller - have a siren like ability to convince people or get them to do their bidding. can captivate (or distract) just about any one with a story or performance. can talk their way out of almost any situation. can read people well and can easily tell when someone is attempting to deceive them. often avians (or have wings of any kind) or fish hybrids (mermaids)

artist - pretty rare and not well understood. super perceptive and can see art in pretty much anything. whatever they create no matter the medium can come to life if they so choose. have illusion magic and can hide things and make them blend with the environment. can see extra colors (i just thought this would be funny). a wild card species wise, can be anything from humans to zombies.

additionally, most minecraft mechanics will have an in world explanation (although im still working that out!).

the life games do exist! they're actually just a yearly sport for the players and work based on revival, so no one actually dies during it. although they still feel the pain of death, so the players tend to get REALLY into it and it gets quite tense. people not participating watch over in a stadium like setting, yet they get artists to make it so the people watching aren't seen by the players. some players may not even know there's people watching them!

the watchers DO exist as gods but are not the regular people actually watching the games! although they control the strings of fate and love to "play" with the people in the life games.

Your ears perked up when you thought you heard the door move. You looked back at the kitchen door, but it hadn’t moved. Odd, you thought.

Suddenly, you felt something invade you.

The feeling was hard to explain… Your eyes rolled back and you started levitating off the ground slightly, as a sharp, yet un-uniform, non-physical shape pierced and entered you. You let out a strangled scream as you started to feel your body go numb. You were sucked into yourself, having no control over your body anymore, somebody else was now at the wheel.

Everything around you was dark. You could still vaguely see through your eyes, but you were being pulled into the darkness more and more.

Suddenly you were pulled into a memory filled with true fear and terror. You started to shake as you were forced to relive these twisted thoughts and memories. They were warped, having heightened fear and fright. You started crying, falling to the ground and shaking uncontrollably.

You didn’t know how long you were in those state, but you were cradling yourself on the ground, scared to death and sobbing uncontrollably.

Suddenly, you heard a voice, not one of your own.

“You should not be here…!” The booming voice exclaimed.

You then felt the invasion start to be pulled out of you.

When your vision came back to you, you saw a tall figure with strong wings standing in front of you. You were still shaken and scared for your life. Your lip trembled and you immediately put your hands in front of your face to protect yourself.

“My name is Lucifer.” The large being spoke softly, bringing one of their wings around you, “What’s your name, little thing?”

The wing around you made you oddly calmer. You felt protected. And you felt like you could finally breathe.

“I… Y/N…” you whispered, wiping the tears away for your eyes.

Lucifer nodded slowly in understanding.

“That is a lovely name.” They cooe, “I am sorry that you had to experience that, my sweet…”

“What… W-what was that…?” You whispered.

Lucifer sighed.

“One of my more roudy demons who got away from me.” They admitted, “It won’t happen again. You need not worry.” They reassured you.

“No but what was that…?” Your voice trembled as you thought back to the horrific feeling that you had felt in every bone of your body for that time.

You winced and tears threatened to spill down your cheeks once more. Lucifer sighed in sympathy.

“You see, Demons like to thrive off of the human mind… And this demon specialized in fear” They explained gently, “So the demon pulled out your biggest fears to feed off of and survive inside you. Humans call this possession.”

Tears began to flow down your face once more. You nodded at their words.

“It was so awful…” you choked out, your voice cracking.

Lucifer’s wings held you closer and their hand came behind you to rub your back.

“I know, little one…” they cooed lovingly, “But the demon is gone now. It will never bother you again.”

“Ok…” you whispered, looking up at the Lightbringer with watery eyes.

“Thank you” you choked out.

“Anytime, little one…” Lucifer gently spoke, “I’ll come back to check on you soon, alright…?”

You hiccuped and nodded. Then Lucifer left and you were back in your kitchen. With your dishes.

Hi I really like your descendants fic and your posts, so I have a question. If descendants was a pg16 show that actually did it's worldbuilding what elements would you ADD, which elements would you remove and what would you expand on?

Oooh, this is an interesting question. I'm sorry it took so long to get this answered! (and apologizing in advance for any rambling that takes place)

First things first, I'd want the show to switch between the Isle and Auradon. I am PERFECTLY fine with the main cast staying the main characters from the first three films. So it would be eye-opening, and good for the characters, for the show to have switched between the Auradonians, the Core Four, and the Sea Three.

I'd also want at LEAST the entire first episode, preferably first two or three, to have the Core Four on the Isle. Working with THEIR gang. So we can see what it is like for them to live on the Isle, what its like for them to be around their parents, and how they interact with others, before going straight to Auradon.

Now, Isle-related things.

I definitely know I'd want to add more elements of abuse on the Isle. It's implied in the movies, but they also seem to backtrack at times. (Dizzy's "wicked step-grandmother" comment, and then suddenly portraying Lady Tremaine as caring - the Vk's running to the Isle to see their parents.) It would need to be shown that the Isle is a HORRIBLE place. Physical, emotional.... and other forms of abuse. These things HAPPEN, and they are going to happen on the Isle.

As much as I hate to say it, there is definitely teen pregnancy on the Isle. There's also a lot of death for ALL ages.

Remember Mal's comment about gang activity? Let's see it. Show us the gangs, the fights, the rules, the alliances. Show us the politics on the Isle, and how these are CHILDREN fighting for their lives. Which also means injuries and scars.

There are all sorts of HORRIBLE crimes that people get sent to jail for (I really don't want to type the words since it makes me sick to my stomach), and those people are ON. THE. ISLE. It's not just the villains from the fairy tales on the Isle, its all the criminals as well. There's a lot of reasons the VK's have gangs, and keeping each other safe is one of them.

With that said, not all the VK's are going to be good either. Some of them will end up bad in the end. Just like there are going to be bad people in Auradon.

And then with the barrier, are seasons a thing on the Isle or does the dome mean that the temperature stays relatively the same? Are the summers scorching and winters freezing and dirty, given the pollution over the Isle? Things can't even grow!

How DID the Isle get approved? Was it better in the beginning? Did they just not think that villains could have children? These are questions that need to be answered, because even without purposefully trying to make it dark, the things we know about the Isle are sickening to think about. Nothing can grow, food is always rotten, everything is crumbling, and there is horrible pollution.

What is illness like on the Isle? It can't be good, it would run rampant. I want to see how it's dealt with.

And finally, how does the Isle affect the magical people there? Witches could probably be okay being cut off from magic, but fairies? They are inherently magical. Magic is apart of them. Same goes with Ursula, Morgana, Hades (though he's probably not affected at all). Trolls, dwarves (there have to be some), goblins, pixies, etc. Any on the isle, and their children, how are they affected here? Does Uma feel a loss in her chest when she's near the sea? Does Mal mourn her horns and wings? (and will she ever get any?) Is it painful? Do they get sick when they're in Auradon and finally around all this magic? Because you can't just... get rid of magic. It's going to be there.

Auradon Things:

I would really want to expand on how Auradon came to be. Along with the, likely, war that happened when rounding up the villains cause there's no way that was peaceful.

Politics. I want the politics. How do all these kingdoms work? What political parties are there? How are views on the Isle handled?

Arranged-Marriages are a thing. Not everyone does it, but I feel like we can all agree that some people (*cough*Leah*cough*) believe that they are superior to "Falling in love." I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Audrey and Ben had an arranged marriage.

Abuse. It's not just a thing on the Isle, but it's in Auradon as well, just in a different way. While there's a lot more physical abuse on the Isle, there's verbal and emotional in Auradon. Leah and, though I hate saying it, Beast are perfect examples. Leah constantly puts Audrey down, she makes her feel inferior. Beast made his sixteen year old High King... I'm sure I could find more examples for him but I think that's a pretty big thing right there.

Another thing to expand on is the equality issue in Auradon. The "sidekicks" got the short end of the deal, even though Ben tried to make it better, as the dwarves and animals weren't being PAID. They just worked all the time for the Royals. Magical people have seemed to be pushed aside, like Beast wants them all gone. Jane couldn't even train her with her magic! And she's Fairy Godmother's daughter! The three good fairies and other fairies from Aurora's kingdom are actively having to not use magic. How do Kingdom's like Corona (Ruby has the 70ft hair, so some semblance of magic had to be passed down. Magic is also canonical in Tangled the Series, along with things like DRAGONS), Arendalle, Agrabah, etc. function?

How do things with the gods play out? What is there contract with Auradon, cause I am NOT convinced that they would just let these mortals walk all over them forever. It's one of my biggest issues with Hades on the Isle as well, and why I think there has to be some bigger reason he's on the Isle. (Whether its them waiting for Beast's term to be over, or perhaps something the Fates said)

I'd want to add in how religions play out in Auradon, because all these stories come from different places. There are characters who are canonically religious in their films, good and bad. It's not something you can just erase.

How did Auradon as a whole react when the VK's came over? Were there protests? Was Ben under a lot of heat, or was Beast for letting Ben do this? How were the VK's treated at first? Not everyone was going to be welcoming. Who stood beside Ben, who was neutral, and who went against him?

Then with relationships. Honestly, I really like Mal and Ben, but I'd want to see them develop a relationship. Maybe mention their dreams and hint to the true loves, have them work through the love spell issue, show them dealing with cultural differences. Give them a realistic relationship with more depth.

With Evie, show the expectations her mother would have put on her. Did she have flings? Was she pushed to try to be with any "higher up" Isle male?

Harry and Uma... yeah their together. With the rating up, there is no reason to pretend they aren't or only give small hints. We get to have this relationship and yeah, you know, they are just Harry and Uma.

And when the VKs do come to Auradon, who are their foster parents? Because they have to have someone, right? How is that handled? How are they taken care of?

Then with the abuse they went through, show us the hints. Flinching when there are yells, or when someone goes to touch them. Maybe blank looks, disassociation, just not knowing how to handle relationships! Friendship or with adults! How they see themselves. That stuff does a number on you, even after years. And I understand why Disney didn't go deeply into this, but it also shouldn't just be brushed away. Acknowledging it could have helped just explain some of the VK's actions. (Such as Mal in the third movie, wanting to please the ultimately parental figures around her.)

I really don't think there's much about Descendants that I'd remove, I'd just want to expand on the world and make it... darker, I guess. More realistic vs. sunshine and roses.

anyway, aw man buddy you got no IDEA how swapped up these dimension dragons are, eheheheh. Right out the gate we ended up fuckign around and changing each summoning method's associated color(s) (so fusion is whites and vibrant greens, xyz is red/blue gradient/i guess also that seafoam/orange gradient of pend cards, pendulum is all blacks and greys, and synchro is purples,) so each yuboy does keep their dragon from canon, and it gets to roughly keep its color palette, but the summoning method associated with each is also swapped around, as are its deeper motifs/aesthetics. Here's a lil rough overview of the four of 'em.

SHATTERED WING IS MY BABYYYYY fusion yugo is really in my brain Especially Bad. imagine Clear Wing but its wings are completely smashed and broken, leaving it grounded. It has no back legs so it drags itself across the ground sooo slowly. but never giving up. Endurance predator 💚 It also upgrades into the absolutely horrifying Perfect-Wing Fusion Dragon that I took a lot of inspo from uranium glass, nuclear fusion, and glassblowing for--it glows with sickly green light and has yucky melted glass wings amalgamated from God Knows Where. we're still sussing out the abilities of all the swapped dragons but i think Perfect-Wing absorbs monsters to add to its 'perfect' state <-- (BIASED FONDNESS FOR YGO MONSTERS THAT STEAL YOUR MONSTER)

brnine this episode: describing grief as a disconnect from your past akin to leaving entire planets is so perfect for brnine. also devastating. loved the sandwich callback as well, that was one of my favorite twilight mirage beats.

am pulling together thoughts about brnine getting challenged to stay in the mirage or leave and fight. when you’ve been defending the distant concept of an ideal, how do you handle the reality of it—especially when that reality is something you were never meant to see, and is so disconnected from the circumstances of your life and your cause. but of course brnine’s tied their life entirely to their idea of keeping up the fight, and haven’t thought that anyone they’re honoring could ever have wanted anything else. (it is also: blue channel going back at the end of partizan.)

the conceit of doing a story in a time loop is that you’re gonna repeatedly say, well, can’t do it this time, better move on—which sucks when the loop is a revolution, right, because then it’s implied that liberation is a one in a billion chance and more than likely impossible. (fine starting place, frustrating ending.) but with perennial no longer able to turn back the clock, it gives cori room to declare that there’s no need to keep restarting, they can win it here and now. it’s never impossible. which i am glad for.

Bloodline that Binds card from out-of-context S5 spoilers is definitely about Karim and Janai being the two heirs that can presumably free Kim’Dael from her chain(s). I think that Karim will barter / hire Kim’Dael to assassinate his sister (or, if she cannot harm descendants of Aditi at all, Amaya) under the deal of freeing her afterwards. Therefore, I have a feeling that this screencap

is Amaya, Callum, and most importantly, Rayla, encountering Kim’Dael in her initial attack

(Also, given that we’ve had a short story entitled “The Queen’s Soul” for Khessa and “The Queen’s Mercy” for Aditi, it seems likely Janai will get a tale named after her at one point as well, as she’s currently the only Sunfire queen without.)

This also brings our “characters in S5 who are seeking Freedom” tally up to like, five, now that it’s Callum (from Aaravos), Rayla (for Callum & the coins), Viren (from Aaravos’ machinations, most likely), Aaravos (from prison), and finally Kim’Dael from Aditi’s golden blood oath chain. How’s that for layering

Specifically Kim’Dael and Aaravos both being imprisoned with, well, very different kinds of keys tethered to each of them

We also see the return of deceptive gift giving and promises under the guise of protection or unclear terms. Aaravos was a betrayer who was then betrayed; Rayla was a liar who then revealed one (Claudia); Kim’Dael is a deceiver who’s then deceived, etc etc.

Also in addition to the storm symbolism / pattern the marketing and S5 has been pushing, the Heart Motif (specifically a heart as vulnerability or truth) continues to be more and more consistent, featuring now in every short story’s release and making me believe more and more in my “the Key of Aaravos is Aaravos’ heart/chest piece” theory

Also more Kim’Dael parallels to Rayla and Aaravos not only in aforementioned heart symbolism (“My heart for Xadia”) but also in being likewise the last of their kind(s) / specific groups, and exiled/hunted for it as well. There’s also the way Rayla’s mercy doomed her team and “ Mercy would be the queen’s death someday, she thought—but that, of course, was none of her concern” even if it of course doesn’t come to fruition quite the way she expects

We have Harrow’s “we will pay the blood price eventually” coming true quite literally, as well as questions of why Aditi chose to keep Kim’Dael as a personal murder pet over just killing her (which she clearly could’ve done) when Aditi’s chain clearly isn’t enough to stop Kim’Dael from committing crimes in the future, either.

Last but not least we have Callum and Kim’Dael parallels in terms of literal (or metaphorical) chains around the neck, an inability to breathe, being brought to their knees, etc.

Personal thoughts so far because I can't focus on shit else lol

Adam is a Gryffindor because he's too brave for his own fuckin good with all the shit talking he does and how powerful he considers himself (even being able to back it up against Alastor in their epic fight). Otherwise I'd go with Hufflepuff because he seems pretty loyal, even to a fault; he will stick with his side even if in the wrong

Probably comes from a pure wizard family that's upper middle class?? Pure wizard family because it gives him hot shit bragging rights regardless of his company, plus it kinda reflects his angelic status. I don't think he's full upper class though just because I'm taking his "struggling and surviving after being thrown out of Eden" period of his original life into consideration, but will also say that he doesn't have to go without much either given the other side of the story where he got to experience TWO different kinds of paradise (Eden before and Heaven afterwards)

He's great on a broom to reflect his long-ass afterlife of having wings (if he doesn't already have them depending on which verse we go with anyway...in which case I'll probably still just have him be lazy and have his broom do his flying for him BECAUSE YOU KNOW HE WOULD lol)

Also? Total Quidditch jock (maybe even on the way to becoming professional??) He totes has jock-bully vibes first and foremost regardless of age/setting we go with, not to mention he would do it because he easily gets bored anyway and needs something to do. And don't get me started on that Quidditch fan favorite status he'd try to achieve!

And adding to that, he's gotta be a beater. On top of the general enjoyment of getting to club a mindlessly violent ball senseless itself, it even funner when you get to club that mindlessly violent ball hurling into some other poor sap's direction with the intention of knocking them off and/or just downright injuring them

Socially speaking I'm gonna say that he's not above mingling with lower class, "mudbloods", muggles, etc. but will try to act like he is. In all reality I think he'd socialize with anyone who'd give him the time of day, but he's also just an asshole and gonna really play up his high ranking social status

That being said, if we have Death Eaters?? He's totally a Death Eater/Death Eater in training (if the age in the setting we go with allows it...and I'm gonna say yeah because they're all probably gonna be 8th years at least anyway). It only makes sense with his canon Exorcist shit lol

I am gonna go out on a limb though and say he's mostly a Death Eater (or Death Eater type) due to necessity (I mean ya gotta go with a winning team, am I right??). While I DO think Adam is naturally mean and an overall bad person, I also think he's been pretty misguided by how others have treated him (or his upbringing in this case) and has never really got to experience things from someone else's perspective to be able to judge things correctly. Like I said, he's pretty social and probably gets along with most people who treat him cool enough, he's just mostly been taught bad things that fed into his already naturally shitty personality and that has amplified it

Is probably still some kind of "dark wizard" anyway regardless because he wants that power and isn't afraid to go after it, even if it ends in regrets...SPEAKING OF WHICH-

Might face regrets/have a redemption arch out of it all?? Not that one just QUITS being a Death Eater...which is gonna be a lot of fun to explore on its own XD

He's also pretty good at dueling. He held his own in that epic battle with Alastor and only really got tripped up once he got too cocky and started getting sloppy on him. Even then he landed the winning blow that made Alastor retreat. Meanwhile I'm gonna say his magic mostly favors light/lightning spells because SUCK MY HOLY LIGHT FUCKERS!!" lol

His patronus is totally a dog and not a cool vicious dog but something cute and/or stupid like a golden retriever (and yes it's embarrassing when people find out what kind of dog it is because he'll admit to having a dog...but never specifies). This is because overall he is a big, dumb, loyal puppy lmao (he just fucking BITES sometimes)
