moon swings

moon swings occur when a witch reaches a certain age (+16), and it is somewhat similar to human menstrual cycles. however, any witch of any gender can go through them, regardless of what they would've been assigned at birth in the human realm.

when a witch goes has moon swings, they may act differently than they normally do, often becoming clingy and sensitive. it is also likely that they might change their diet or have irregular cravings for consumables they wouldn't usually eat.

fertility, litters and labels

witches and demons have fertility levels just as most (if not all) reproducing creatures do. the lower their fertility rate, the harder it is for them to produce offspring. rituals can be done to increase and decrease fertility levels, but they are very pricey, dangerous, and not always guaranteed to work as intended.

witches & demons produce litters of 1 - 4 witchlings or demonlings. litters can be different sizes, even if the same parents are producing them. (ex: odalia and alador's first litter was a pair of twins. their second litter consisted of just 1 witchling.)

young witches are called witchlings, witchlettes, and kittens (ex: amity, gus, willow). young demons are called demonlings, spawns, and cubs (ex: king). there are occasions where the two mix, creating halflings and spauns (ex: boscha). There are entities that are neither demon nor witch, and they usually have their own labels for young ones. in this headcanon, young grimwalkers can be called a variety of things, such as; grimtoddlers, grimcrawlers, grimmies, grimlings, and grimlettes (ex: hunter) .

because homophobia does not exist on the boiling isles, it is safe to assume that same sex, sexless, intersex (etc.) couples and 2+ relationships can produce offspring in the usual mammal way (unless they are like titans, who can reproduce asexually). those who carry and produce the offspring are commonly referred to as "carriers" or "lifebringers." the other parent (or parents) is known as the "sire," regardless of sex.

Someone brought him in from another universe originally for a magical anon but people liked the kid, OM did a poll and now he's here to stay

Alastor is slowly warming up to him, the others are chill with the kid

Honestly, I'm finding it so funny. Love Victor, and the two other unnamed love children.

I'll be scrolling through my recommended and just see that somehow, in the course of 4 months (since the av3 blog has come to fruition), Alastor and Vox have gotten married, turned out invalid because Val used the wrong contract, they've somehow brought in THREE love children, and now OM is a sort of OC themself.

TLDR: Victor I love you you're probably my favourite character in the blog

it's funny but when i was young and growing up in tamil nadu and maharashtra but punjabi by heritage i was legit giving myself for a lack of a better word diaspora style neuroses. punjabi culture as presented to me by my extended family or mainstream culture was either refugee partition trauma or genuinely noxious live big gaddi guddi gedi stuff in the era of honey singh. people expect you to be like charismatic and in love with food and willing to have a good time when you're punjabi and i was a fucking teenage nerd. what i could do was like idolise periyarism and ambedkarism instead.
