How do you feel about the theory of Otto being a possible antagonist in the next psychonauts game? (If they ever make another one)
Ehhhh, I like that he's got this morally ambiguous feel, but doesn't seem like a villain. He's just a guy who knows how to bend the rules, not a full blown villain.

Forever and always, Mi Amor 🤞🏾
E42 Miles G Morales
part: 1
Warnings: Nothing too big. Light swearing,Miles is AGED UP ( he's around 18, pushin’ 19.) For people in the back, READER IS BLACK. (Reader is also about 18-19) Reader uses she/they/her pronouns (If this picks up more traction I will translate it for our he/him’s and our they/them’s.) Bad Spanish (Spanish is NOT my first language, i’m still learning little by little, so if im saying anything wrong PLEASE tell me so i can fix it.) Miles is a bit of an OOC, cause there’s like not any official material other than his ability to rizz himself up. Miles is healed/ healing from his father’s death. This isn’t edited, so if there’s bad grammar, keep it to yourself please, this is my first official fic since my dingy wattpad days, so let me warm up. LOTS OF DIALOG
Summary: You just wanted to take your boyfriend out to dinner.
It's about 5:15 pm when you enter Miles’s apartment. He had given you a key as soon as he moved out of his momma’s house a few months ago, going on about how if you needed a place to hide from the outside world, you’d always have a place to go. “Miles! ¿Mi amor,dónde estás?” (my love, where are you?) You call out wandering through his apartment. You knew he had to be somewhere because his 2015 Mercedes-Benz c300 was parked outside. “Miles, baby, are you home?” Calling again as you reach the hallway that leads to his bedroom, “He has to be in his room.”, You conclude as you hear the low bass of what was hoped was his music. Looking around as you walk, you see pictures of his family (mainly his uncle and his dad) and a couple of paintings you made him for past birthdays.
When you finally make it to his bedroom door, you fling it open. “Miles! ¿Así que aquí es donde te escondes?” ( so this is where you’ve been hiding) Miles flinched at the sudden noise, putting his gadget aside as he turned in his desk chair to face you. “Oh, Hey mami,” He says with his hand over his heart, trying to recover from your little jump scare. “¿Qué pasa?” (what’s up)
“Nothing’ really. Just thought I should stop by, 'cause I miss you ‘n shit.” You say as you slot yourself between his legs so you can look down into his rich cinnamon-colored eyes. “Well ain't you know how to make a man feel special?” He says as he places his hands around your waist. “Baby, I was just about to put this sucka down and go for a run.” He says, referencing his discarded gadget. “You can stay here unless you want to come with me. I'm always up for a running partner” He follows up with a smirk and wiggling eyebrows. “Nah, baby. You know how much cardio I ‘ate doin’ cardio.” You scrunch your nose in mock disgust as you motion for him to push back his seat, which he complies with. “What’s this gadget ‘bout ?” You ask as you place yourself on his lap. “Oh, this?” He wraps his arm around your waist as he spins the chair to grab his contraption. “I’ve been tweaking it for a while, but it’s supposed to be a power dampener. I’m not sure if it works, but it’s something I've been experimenting with.” He looks back and forth between you and his work. “¿Quieres echar un vistazo, princesa?” ( you wanna take a look, princess?) You smile brightly as you nod. “Yes please!!!” Miles gives you a soft half-smile in return as he hands it over. “It ain't perfect, but I think it needs a new processing chip and more stabilizers here, here, here, and right there.”
You follow his long nimble fingers as he points out specific areas on his machine. “Oh, and the circuiting! I haven't finished with that, but at the….” You didn’t catch the rest of his rant, too caught up in how his eyes seem to glow with excitement as he goes on and on about his work.
“And that’s how….Baby… Hey…” He snaps you out of your trance. “Am I nerding you out? I seemed to have lost ya?” You feel your face grow hot at the call-out. “No, baby! You was doing just fine. Just got a little lost at how you need to wire the-um.. the..thingy.” You say sheepishly. Robotics was never your thing. “Yes, the thingy.” He teased as he gently removed his work from your hands. “I'm glad you are at least a little interested in what I do, even when I nerd out…You know I love it when you take an interest in me.” He says, smiling down at you. “Well I think it's hot when you nerd out, and even if I didn’t- which will never happen- I’ll always be invested in you.” You say as you cup his cheek, which he leans into.
“When did I get so lucky…” He mumbles to himself in your hand. “You got lucky because I'm a sucker for men that want to heal themselves. Now, I wanna hear more about this… this power dampener!” You say in hopes to continue seeing his eyes light up. “Oh, um, sure.'' Miles smiles lightly. “So the goal of the device is to create a disturbance in the electrons of an object. The effects of it depend on the range between the power source and my machine.” As you listen, Miles's facial expressions light up, and he begins to move his hands animatedly. When he looks down into your eyes, he’s shocked by how genuinely interested you are. “Baby, has anyone told you how fuckin’ smart you are?” You hum as you nip at his cheek. “Oh..Um” Miles was taken aback by the intensity of your praise. “Awh- Well- Not- Not recently…No..” He says with a chuckle trying to deflect. “You might be biased, mami.” He kisses your cheek. “Thank you, but I promise I'm just your average tech guy.” You snort at his dismissive behavior. “Now why would I be biased?” You quirk a brow. “Are you callin’ me a liar? Cause you know I’d NEVER lie to you, Mi Amor. Lo llamo como lo veo.”(I’m calling it how I see it) You state with no room to argue. Your boy needs to know how special he is.
“Well… I mean” Miles gives a dramatic sign. “Well if MY GIRL says I’m smart, then who am I to argue?” He gives one of his cocky-ass smirks. “Ain't that the truth!” You puff out your chest with pride. It always makes you ecstatic when he calls you HIS GIRL. “Well now that MY MAN knows how smart he is, do you think he’ll be smart enough to let HIS GIRL bring him to dinner after his run? My treat since he always pays.” You say with a smirk of your own. Miles considers the idea for a moment. “Well, I might as well be a genius because who am I to say no? But no promises on you paying.” He responds as he reachs out to flick your forehead. “Nope.” You emphasize the ‘p’ with a pop, grabbing his hand before it makes contact. “I'm gonna pay for everything because you quite literally refuse to let me pay for shit.” You huff as he keeps trying to assault your forehead with finger flicks.
He lets out a chuckle-the that makes his chest rumble-as he finds it amusing how passionate you are about paying. “¿Qué tiene de divertido?(what’s so funny) I wanna know, too, asshole!” You whine feeling left out. “Es nada.(it’s nothing) I just find your determination endearing.” Your face grows increasingly hot. “Well… Good! ‘Cause this determination’s going to make sure your takin’ care of. You might as well call me your sugar mommy for the night.” You wink and blow him a kiss as you get off his lap to sit on his bed. “So tell mommy where you wanna go” You jest wagging your fingers. “ Ha-” He stifles a laugh. “Well then….Mommy, there’s that new steak place you’ve been wanting to try out. Although it's a 'lil expensive… So we can split the bill."
Miles tries to play it slick. “Eres gracioso.(you’re funny) If you want steak, then we’ll go have steak. But don’t think for a moment that I ain’t got it like that. You and I both know my ass makes enough to order half the menu and then do it again tomorrow.” It upsets Miles sometimes how hard you work. Splitting your time between getting your degree, working at your paid internship, and braiding hair on the weekends, you barely have time for yourself…or him. “I know, Mi Amor.” He says, moving to kiss your forehead. “Solo estaba jugando. (I was just playing) I know you got me.” He says, planting his kiss, causing you to pout. “Why the long face, baby girl?'' Miles teased as he pushed a stray braid behind your ear. “You just got to be difficult. Just let me take care of ya.” He smiles and rubs his hand against your brown skin. “You’re gon have to make me.” He jests with a shine in his warm brown eyes. “Is that a challenge, Mr. Moralas?” Your pout turned into a wicked grin. “I'm afraid so, baby girl.” His heart kicks into gear at the sight of your grin. “Well, then you best hurry up and get to ya runnin’ then? Wouldn’t want you to skip that delicious cardio, now would we?” You mock, trying to push the process of dinner. “There’s no way you just called cardio delicious.'' Miles finds himself laughing as he pulls away to find his running shoes. “I can’t help it! You just look so good when you finish a run, I can't be blamed for associating cardio with yummy.” You try to defend yourself. “Suuuure, mami. That’s why.” Sarcasm and an eye-roll quickly follow, causing you to flip him off. “Just hurry up so we can eat.” You jokingly hound as he makes his way back to you. “Yeah, yeah. Im goin’, im goin’! Just give ya man a kiss before he goes, ok? You're my Forever and always, Mi Amor.” This was how you two always departed. It was a way for Miles to express how much he valued you since he learned the hard way that time is precious, and last words hold meaning. “My Forever n’ always, Mi Amor.” You repeat as your lips part. Satisfied Miles kisses you one more time and heads for the door. “I’ll be back.” He calls before he locks the front door behind him.
*Guys, if yall want a part 2, please say so in either my asks or the comments. I won't know if it's good enough to continue if yall don't interact.🤧👍🏾*

Quest To Find God! Belief And Heretical Pride!
Skypeia was wondrous until it was terrifying. In that sense, it was just like everywhere else Lana had been with her crew. At least, it seemed that way until Nami came within a hair's breadth of what she claimed was the very wrath of god himself.
Given the extent to which Nami was shaken up, Lana was inclined to believe her. Skepticism was the main force keeping her own sense of existential horror at bay as the progression of events quickly spiraled out of control.
By now, Lana was used to everything being completely out of control all the time. Death was a distinct and looming possibility, but death was hardly enough to make her work up a sweat after all she'd been through with the other straw hats.
"I hope Luffy snags me a pair of those air skates on his way to save us," she sighed, nonchalant as she trekked through the jungle with Robin, Nami and Zoro. "Those things are so cool! I wonder if they would work forever if we brought them back down with us."
"How can you be worried about a silly gadget at a time like this?!" Nami demanded. "I told you what I saw! You should be scared out of your mind!"
"I'm not sure what you saw," Lana admitted. "Until we get some answers, I'm not going to let some faceless boogeyman scare me."
"It's not a faceless boogeyman! It's literally GOD!"
"I won't believe it until I see it," Lana insisted.
"Boogyeman, god... in the end, it doesn't really matter," Zoro put in. "Whoever it is, they're going to pay for hassling us."
"It's hopeless!" Nami wept. "This lunatic really thinks he can cut down god!"
Lana turned briefly to appraise him, bringing up the rear with his hands deep in his pockets.
"If anyone could, it would be Zoro," she observed.
The comment tickled the swordsman's pride and piqued his interest.
"I take it you're not buying this god crap either," he noted.
"Well... I guess... at this point I'm just hoping it's not true," Lana sighed.
"Why? You a believer? Scared your god will judge you?" Zoro pressed, goading.
"You're half right," Lana allowed, intentionally ignoring the snide bite in his tone. "I do believe in a higher power, but I'm not convinced it lives on this island."
"Why not?"
God or no, Zoro was excited to challenge anything with the gall to claim the title. Lana paused, missing one step. That was enough to put her side-by-side with Zoro, trailing their crewmates.
"There's no point believing in a wrathful god," Lana said contemplatively. "This world is full of violence already. If power alone was enough to command my worship, I'd never stop bowing."
"So you'd rather rely on wishful thinking than or logic or popular consensus?"
"Ha, it sounds silly when you put it like that," she shrugged. "I don't know, I spent a lot of time praying when I was younger. Mostly to be set free. I never really stopped to think who I might be praying to."
"Did any of that praying ever do you a lick of good?" Zoro challenged.
"I've heard you say things like that before. I'm not surprised you're not a fan of praying. Let me guess, you prefer to solve your problems yourself," Lana guessed.
"Isn't that more practical?"
"It is. I feel like my prayers were answered through."
"That so?"
"Yeah. I didn't have any control over what happened at Whiskey Peak, but it worked out for me well enough, didn't it?"
"Whiskey Peak, huh? I remember Whiskey Peak. That's where your prayers were answered?"
"Yup. All that fighting gave me the opportunity I needed to escape."
"All that fighting was me. Or did you forget?"
"I didn't."
"Then by that logic, shouldn't I be your new god? Seeing as I was the one who answered your prayers," Zoro grinned, far too pleased with himself for cornering her. Lana wrinkled her nose at him.
"Nice try, but I'm not gonna be the first disciple of the church of the world's sweatiest swordsman," Lana chuckled. "So... what about you then?"
"Me?"
"Yeah. You don't seem like the type to follow a compassionate deity," Lana pressed.
Lana expected him to name a patron of the art he'd devoted his life to mastering, or perhaps a god of war or chaos. Zoro was a force of nature in his own right, a harbinger of destruction and terror for anyone wise enough to take him as the omen he was.
"I bow before no god," he declared instead. The answer stunned her, five simple, steadfast words that threw all her expectations and predictions out the window.
Lana spent a second being starstruck at the bold statement, then fixed her face and chuckled softly to hide that fact that he'd flustered her a little.
"I might have known. I would expect no less from the world's greatest swordsman," she smiled. Zoro smirked back at her, clearly pleased with her response.
'I have to stop stroking this guy's ego. It's too big as it is,' Lana lamented internally.
Ahead, Nami tripped with a shriek.
"I'd better help her," Lana sighed.
"Heels weren't the best choice if she was gonna tag along," Zoro grumbled.
"Cut her some slack. I didn't want to be left alone on that altar either. Kinda wish I would have changed out of this skirt, but it's too late to go back now."

wait i forgot i can just write it out. okay, okay hear me out.
----
Split scene. On the right, a room in heavy shadows, maybe a library of some sort, cluttered with papers and gadgets and stacks of records -- on the left, a brightly lit plains biome with exposed mechanical bits strewn broadly about the place.
Starre (its eyes stained purple, brass-and-tinted-glass goggles glinting in the sunlight) speaks from the left side --
Starre: Listen, I'm going to make it work. I just need more time, it's not -- I know this is possible! The pieces are here somewhere, I just need to find them, and-
DJ (face in shadow, hair in disarray falling over their eyes) speaks from the right side --
DJ: -and then what, you'll finish another diversion? I'm running out of time.
We continue switching, left-right --
Starre: That's my line. DJ: Not anymore it isn't.
Starre: Look, you know what to look out for, I've given you those pieces. Stay out of danger- DJ: -Stay out of the limelight. Yeah. You're killing me here. I'll rot in obscurity if I listen to you much longer. Starre: You can't take the risk. DJ: You don't follow your own advice. Starre: I -- that's different! DJ: Oh, yeah, it's real different when you hog the spotlight, yeah. Starre: I can't fly under the radar. It already knows I'm here. I might as well call the attention of everything else while I'm at it. Like I said, it's different. DJ: Yeah. You're different. You'll be remembered. Starre: If it finds you, you're dead. DJ: What were you working on, again? Some immortality machine? When it finds me, I won't need to live forever.
Beat panel.
Starre: ...No. You're not seriously- DJ: -What else am I supposed to do, Starre, just give up? We're not the only ones! Millions of others, suffering in similarity, in utter conformity, and I could break through. Break their chains, just one split, just a single wedge- Starre: Nobody else in your world faces the same dangers! DJ! Think about what you're doing! Someone else can carry out your crackpot plan! DJ: Nobody else. Nobody else can. Nobody else knows the extent of what I've seen. Nobody else but our other selves, scattered across the multiverse.
Not a beat panel this time, rather, each person's background changes. The speech timing here is exactly the same, as if the two are talking over each other.
Starre stands isolated within a dark stone hallway lined with pillars, cold and echoing and imposing, utterly alone --
Starre: An empty expanse. The Song gets closer, not louder. It's not looking for anything else other than us. It affords a unique opportunity, knowing what you're doomed by. You can call on all sorts of other things, knowing they can't offer to save your skin, and get a feel for what they're really like.
DJ stands at the center of a crowd, clustered and choking, everyone's back turned to them --
DJ: Countless faces, crowded until you can't make yourself out anymore. Nothing to set them apart from the pack, no way of knowing they'll never amount to something. The weight of never being special, never being anything important, I could lift that. I could drag people up out of the mire with me.
Back to the usual backgrounds again.
Starre: You're going to kill someone. DJ: You're not going to get enough people killed.
Beat panel.
Starre: Well. Enjoy your fame. DJ: Well. Keep staying low-profile.
Final panel. There's a cracked record in Starre's hand -- it passes the object through the panel barrier to DJ, who takes it in the same panel.
Starre: It won't change DJ: how everything ends.

Turn Your Trash Into Treasure: How To Sell Old Phones For Cash And Declutter Your Space
Introduction to the problem of old phones cluttering up homes and contributing to electronic waste Is your home cluttered with old phones that you no longer use? Are you tired of seeing those outdated devices taking up valuable space and contributing to electronic waste? Well, it’s time to turn your trash into treasure! Selling your old phones for cash helps declutter your space and puts some extra money in your pocket. In this blog post, we’ll show you how to sell those unused devices and make the most out of them. So, get ready to unlock the potential hidden within those forgotten gadgets and join us on a journey towards a cleaner, more organized living environment.
Benefits of Selling Old Phones for Cash
When decluttering your space, sell old phones for cash is a win-win situation. Not only will you be able to clear out the unnecessary clutter in your home, but you’ll also have the opportunity to make some extra money. And who doesn’t love that?
One of the most significant benefits of selling old phones is that it helps reduce electronic waste. With technology advancing at lightning speed, most people upgrade their phones every few years, leaving a trail of outdated devices behind. By selling these old phones instead of throwing them away or letting them gather dust in a drawer, you’re contributing to a more sustainable future.
Another advantage is that selling your old phone can offset the cost of purchasing a new one. Whether you’re eyeing the latest iPhone or an Android model with all the bells and whistles, getting cash from your old device can soften the blow on your wallet.
Furthermore, you ensure its value is maximized by selling your phone rather than keeping it as a backup or handing it down to someone else. Technology depreciates quickly, so holding onto an unused telephone may result in little to no return on investment down the line.
Additionally, when you sell your used phone online or through trade-in programs offered by retailers and manufacturers, there’s often added convenience involved. You can ship off your device without leaving home or drop it off at designated locations – saving time and effort compared to finding potential buyers.
Last but not least important are privacy concerns! Before parting ways with any electronic device containing personal information such as contacts, photos, and messages, follow proper data handling procedures like factory resetting and backing up essential files securely before wiping them clean from existence forever!
In conclusion (although we said we wouldn’t conclude), turning trash into treasure has never been easier when selling old phones for cash. By doing so responsibly, you’ll declutter your space and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Before selling your phone (factory reset, backing up data, etc.)
Before you hand over your old phone and turn it into cash, you should take a few essential steps to ensure the safety of your personal information and make the selling process smoother.
1. Backup Your Data: Before wiping clean all your data from your old phone, it’s crucial to back up any important files or photos you want to keep. You can use cloud storage services like Google Drive or iCloud or transfer them onto an external hard drive.
2. Transfer SIM Card: If you plan on using the same carrier for your new device, don’t forget to remove and transfer the SIM card from your old phone. This will allow you to activate the service on another device without hassle.
3. Factory Reset: To protect yourself from potential identity theft and ensure your personal information is erased, factory reset your old phone. This will restore it to its original settings and remove all stored data, including contacts, messages, apps, and passwords.
4. Remove Memory Cards: If applicable, remove any additional memory cards, such as SD or microSD cards, from your old phone before selling it. These can contain additional files that may not be deleted during a factory reset.
5. Clean & Inspect: Give your old phone a good cleaning inside and out before handing it off to its new owner or sending it in for recycling. Check for any physical damage or defects that may affect its resale value so you can disclose this information accurately when listing the device for sale.
By following these steps diligently before selling your old phones for cash, you’ll not only gain some extra money but also declutter valuable space in your home while contributing towards reducing electronic waste.
So why let those unused devices gather dust when they could be transformed into treasure? Turn them into cash today!

Behind the Scenes: How Travel Bloggers Fill Their Wallets
Tumblr media
Ever caught yourself scrolling through a travel blogger’s Instagram, sighing at the mesmerizing sunsets, luxurious resorts, and vibrant cityscapes, and thinking, "How on earth do they afford all of this?" Well, my friend, you're not alone. It’s a question as old as social media itself.
Lucky for you, we’re about to unravel the mystery. Let’s dive deep into the fascinating world of travel blogging and how these wanderlust-filled writers manage to turn their passion into a paycheck. Know more about us at https://www.dreamswishestravel.com/.
Affiliate Marketing: The Silent Profit-Maker
We’ve all been there: reading a blog, stumbling across a tantalizing link to a must-have travel gadget, and before you know it, it's in your cart, and you’re hitting 'checkout'. But here’s the secret sauce: when you buy through that link, your favorite blogger might hear a little “cha-ching”. This is the magic of affiliate marketing.
Bloggers sprinkle their posts with these affiliate links, leading to products, services, or even accommodations they've tried and loved. And when you, the reader, take their advice and make a purchase, they earn a nifty commission.
The best part? It doesn’t cost you an extra dime! So, the next time you snag that recommended pair of hiking boots or book that cozy B&B, give yourself a pat on the back. You’ve just helped fund their next escapade, all while getting something fantastic for yourself.
Sponsored Content: When Brands and Bloggers Unite
Scrolling through a travel blog, you might occasionally spot posts tagged with ‘sponsored’ or ‘ad’. Now, before you raise an eyebrow, hear me out. This means a brand has collaborated with the blogger to showcase their offerings.
But it's not just about the money. The most authentic bloggers will partner only with brands they truly believe in, ensuring that their recommendations are genuine and not just a paid promotion.
These collaborations offer readers a fresh perspective on new products, destinations, or services they might not have discovered on their own. For instance, a blogger might get sponsored to spend a weekend at a new eco-resort. They’ll share their genuine experiences, the highs, the maybe-not-so-highs, and everything in between. As readers, we get the inside scoop, and the blogger gets compensated for their time and effort.
Sharing the Wealth: E-Books and Online Courses
Many bloggers, equipped with years of experience, venture into creating e-books or online courses. It's their way of sharing the treasure trove of knowledge they've accumulated over years of globe-trotting.
From "Mastering the Art of Solo Travel" to "Becoming a Digital Nomad," these resources are goldmines of insights. They help newbie travelers dodge common pitfalls, save money, or even start their blogs.
Plus, it's a brilliant way for bloggers to give back to their community while also earning some income. So, next time you come across a blogger offering a course or e-book, consider diving in. You'll be gaining invaluable insights and directly supporting their future adventures
Picture-Perfect Profits: Selling Photos and Videos
Imagine a sun-kissed beach at sunset or the electrifying cityscape of Tokyo by night. Got that image in mind? Good. Now, wouldn’t you love to capture it forever? Many travel bloggers do exactly that.
But here's the twist: those breathtaking snapshots often do more than just jazz up their Instagram feed. They can also line their pockets. By selling or licensing their visuals to magazines, travel websites, or ad agencies, bloggers turn their eye for beauty into a stream of income.
Think about it: a single exquisite shot of the Northern Lights could grace the cover of a travel magazine or be the backdrop of an ad campaign for winter wear. And every time these images find a home, it's payday for the blogger.
So the next time you're left awestruck by a travel photo, remember there's a tale of hard work, patience, and often, a sneaky mosquito bite or two, behind that perfect shot.
Personalized Adventures: Guided Tours and Retreats
Ever fancied strolling through the back alleys of Rome, discovering local secrets and tales that no guidebook ever tells you about? Well, some travel bloggers are turning such dreams into reality. After years of personal exploration and countless adventures, many have evolved into unofficial ambassadors of their favorite destinations.
They curate and lead personalized tours or retreats, leveraging their vast knowledge and unique experiences. As a participant, you get a behind-the-scenes look, venturing beyond the usual tourist trails.
It's like exploring with a friend, a very well-traveled friend. From tasting hidden culinary gems in Bangkok to meditative retreats in Bali, these tours promise unique, immersive experiences. And for the blogger, apart from the earnings, it's a chance to relive their favorite memories with like-minded souls.
Dreams and Wishes Travel: Crafting Your Picture-Perfect Getaway
When it comes to the crème de la crème of travel experiences, Dreams and Wishes Travel, Inc. is a name that often lights up the marquee. Imagine planning an American dream vacation. Now imagine planning it without any stress, with every minute detail tailored to your whims and fancies. Sounds unreal? That’s what they specialize in.
The process is akin to weaving magic. It all begins with an intimate chat. What's your fantasy holiday? A frolic in the world of Disney, a thrilling escapade in Universal Parks, or perhaps a serene sojourn through the Hawaiian Islands?
Once you spill your dreams, the wizards at Dreams and Wishes get to work. They craft preliminary itineraries, peppered with experiences that promise to leave you spellbound. After some collaborative tweaking, it's time for them to sprinkle their final pixie dust, ensuring every booking and every reservation is in perfect order.
But here’s the cherry on top: even as you’re living your American dream vacation, they’re just a call away, ready to whisk away any hiccup. It's like having a guardian travel angel. From the moment you dream it to the moment you live it, they've got your back. And if that isn’t magical, what is?
Conclusion
So there you have it, the secrets behind those envy-inducing Instagram feeds and blog posts. Travel bloggers have crafted an art out of their passion, and it’s an art that pays. If you're inspired to start your journey, remember to do it with authenticity, passion, and a touch of business sense.
And if you ever need help in turning your travel dreams into reality, you know who to call. Dreams and Wishes Travel has been our trusty partner in numerous adventures, making every trip feel magical. Let them guide you on your next escapade. After all, isn't it time to get your dream vacation started?

A First Hunt (Part One)
Yautja x Human!Reader (Both GN)
Word count: 974
I don't really know what sparked this one. It just kind of happened, but I do have an idea for a part 2/bonus part, so let me know if you guys wants to see that.
As usual, please let me know what you think.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" You asked, blinking hard as your eyes tried to adjust to the bright light inside of the helmet that was just placed on your head. "I've never actually hunted. The only things I've taken down, you've done all the work and just helped me finish." You tried not to sound worried, but even you could hear the faint shake in your voice.
Your eyes stuck to the figure in front of you as they adjusted straps and such to adorn you with, much smaller than you've ever seen, Yautja armor. They seemed unphased by your concern and fully focused on what they were doing. You reached up, struggling for a moment to remove the helmet, "What if I'm not ready for this? What if I can't take this on?"
"Then you die, and we move on." A new voice said from behind you. Your head turned as much as it could, seeing one of your mate's hunting partners come in. Of course it was the one that still hasnt warmed up to you. They didn't even try to hide the slight look of disgust as they looked over you, their eyes lingering on the fact that your mate was putting your armor on.
"You will not die. We won't let you." Your mate said, a slight growl directed at their partner lead to a small argument that you didn't understand. By the time their strange noises came to an end, it had done nothing to help the worry growing inside of you. Though your panic was paused as the feeling of big hands on the side of your face. "We will be nearby and watching. The elders understand that you Oomans are not as hardy or strong as a us Yautja. We can step in if you need the help, but that will end the hunt for you. If you're going to prove yourself, it has to be you."
"Don't Yautja usually do their first hunt in parties?! Shouldn't I have someone to hunt with?" You blurted out quickly. While you hadn't ever seen the Unblooded leave or return from their first hunts, you had heard so many stories, mostly horror about losing their teammates or barely making it out alive. Your breathing began to pick up again as the panic returned, the voice in your head convinced that you were either going to die or shame your mate forever in some way.
You knew most of the rules of the hunt, but that didn't mean you understood everything. You didn't know what would happen if you should fail. Would your mate think that you were unworthy and just drop you at some uninhabited planet to fend for yourself? Would they even let you back onto the ship?
The sounds a soft clicks and purrs began to invade your thoughts. "You have nothing to worry about, Mate. You have trained with us and seen many hunts, more than the Unbloodeds before their first hunts. You know what to do. It is an honor for the Elders to accept your request to do this hunt. They would not agree if they thought it would be unreasonable." The reminder that you had asked seemed to sting.
Yes, you had asked, but it was mostly out of respect. You never thought that your mate, let alone the Elders would agree to this. This was your own fault.
You took a deep breath, trying to calm your nerves and center your thoughts. You began to repeat your mate's words to in your head, reminding yourself that they would be right there with you, that everyone seemed to have faith that you could do this... well, almost everyone.
Your mate's partner started spouting off a code, repeating it when you looked over and gave them your full attention. Your eyes followed as they motioned to the small, computer-like, gadget strapped to your wrist. "The code to end it if you get defeated, because you-" Their words had been ringing so loud in your ears that you hadn't even noticed the now booming growl coming from your mate before the stepped in front of you.
To you what followed seemed like just a roaring fight between some Earthly predators, though you were sure they the two beings were in an actual yelling match, before the other Yautja ended up promptly leaving, the room then falling into a tense silence.
"If I fail this-" You began to ask, though your mate was quick to interrupt to say that you wouldn't fail, "<i>If</i> I fail," you began again, uninterrupted this time, "what does that mean for you? For us? I shame both of us if I can't do this on my own, don't I?" You watched the tension tighten their shoulders as they stood up straighter.
They said nothing as they turned to face you again, placing their hands over yours before guiding your hands to put the helmet back into place. You heard a translation to your own language echo out over the faint sound of the Yautja language, "You won't fail this hunt. I won't let you."
You didn't even have time to process or understand what those words even meant, as they grabbed your arm and started leading you towards the bay door to the planet outside, pausing only momentarily to grab their helmet and some last minute weapons. You said nothing as you followed them, stepping out into the bright light of the multiple suned planet.
This was it. The ground beneath you would either become a place of honor for you, where you would officially be accepted into your mate's community, or it would become your death bed, where your mate and their partners may just leave your body to rot alone in your own dishonor.

Unforgettable | E!Austin Butler X Plus!Reader | Part 3
Tumblr media
Warnings: Mentions of death and grief, tooth rotting fluff.
Word Count: 4.1K
A/N: The story is developing slowly but surely. Here, you get to see more of Elvis's charm, but not in the performative way. I enjoyed writing this part and cannot wait for the next one!
Have you read part 2?
Never would you ever think you'd have Elvis Presley as a dinner guest, but you'll soon learn to expect the unexpected.
“Darlin’, that’s an interesting way to skin a potato,” Elvis said, leaning against the kitchen counter as you took a wooden handled vegetable peeler to the potato, finding more success in cutting yourself than anything else.
You stuck your tongue out in concentration as you continued to rake the gadget against the vegetable. He broke out in sing-song laughter, reaching to take hold of your hand, taking the peeler and throwing it into the sink with a loud, tinny clatter. “Sometimes, the old way is the best way. Got a paring knife?” He asked, holding his hand out. You nodded with a smile, wiping your hands on your apron. You grabbed one of the sharpest knives out of a drawer and handed to him.
“Be careful, it’s sharp,” you warned him carefully, placing the knife in his hand.
“Baby, you’re surprised, but my mama and daddy taught me how to cook real good. Mississippi Pot Roast is my favorite. After I learned right, I never let mama cut up the carrots and potatoes.” He grabbed the botched potato you had been working on and spun around over the sink, cutting the peel off in a long spiral, without using a cutting board. You watched the brown strips fall into the basin of the sink.
“You’re brave,” You admitted to Elvis, coming closer beside him. He eyed you from the side as he cut the vegetables into cubes.
“Why’s that?” He said with a bright grin.
“How do you do that without using a cutting board or the counter?”
“For a fellow Memphian, I am surprised you don’t know the southern tricks,” He said bumping you softly with his body.
“I’m not a chef. My mom didn’t get the chance to teach me.” You answered honestly. He looked at you for a moment, his eyebrows furrowing slightly, his lips falling into a neutral position.
He returned to his usual charm before speaking again.“Mm, but cookin’ for your man–he’ll love you forever,” He added with a smirk. “A well-fed man will keep you satisfied, that’s for sure.” Damnit, he did it again. You averted eye contact as your lips curled upward in an enthused smile. You tried to hide it.
“I’d just assume to cook Swanson dinners,” you said with a wink, grabbing a pan to put the ingredients in.
His jaw dropped exaggeratedly, making a show of the absurd statement. “Are you looking to be a spinster, cheeks?”
“Oh no, what did she say?” Uncle Harold said with a mischievous smile as he walked into the kitchen. His hands rested on his hips as he addressed the room. “Only that she would rather serve her man TV dinners than cook, sir.” Elvis straightened himself when your uncle walked into the room.
“I’ll admit, since Diane and Mitchell passed,” He said, making your eyes go wide immediately. You weren’t expecting him to discuss your parents. You hadn’t told Elvis. “She’s had other things to attend to.” Uncle Harold smiled. “She was a straight A student in school, probably has hundreds of books memorized by now. Also balances my checkbooks at the end of each month. I’ve never been late on a payment,” He said, stepping beside you and patting you lovingly on the back. “That’s because my girl is a superstar.” He bent and kissed you softly on the top of your head. You offered him a soft smile, but the familial interaction was embarrassing, although you had no idea why.
“Thank you, Uncle Harold.” You said, hugging him from the side. You watched Elvis discreetly, noting his playfulness recede into something more reserved. You knew he was thinking about the mystery of your parents, and it made you feel uncomfortable. There was a moment of silence before Evelyn cut the awkwardness.
“Daddy!” She wailed from across the house.
“Yes, baby?” He asked, excusing himself, stepping outside of the kitchen to deal with her.
“Keep your hands to yourself. God is watching,” Uncle Harold said, tilting his head down slightly in warning to Elvis.
“Yes sir. God is my guide always.” He said perfectly, turning on the charm once again. The room cleared and there was another moment of silence as Elvis leaned against the counter, waiting for you to speak.
You didn’t know what to say to Elvis. “I–” You started, being cut off by your own hesitance.
“You don’t have to talk about it, Y/n.” He said, bringing his hands to yours, reassuring you softly. “That must be very hard to talk about.”
You swallowed and nodded, unable to bring your gaze back to Elvis. “While I’m here, we will have fun,” He said, tilting your head by your chin with the knuckle of his index finger. “Keep your head up, Cheeks. I want to see you.” In that moment, he wasn’t trying to be the kind of Elvis you had seen in almost every magazine, newsreel or newspaper. He made your heart spin in an interesting way. He seemed to genuinely care about you and it perplexed you. At the same time, you couldn’t help but crave his attention. In reality, you would have felt this same way if he weren’t famous. Now that he was real and standing in front of you, having spent the entire day with you, he no longer fit the persona that had been perceived world wide of this man who was oversexualized; a parasite to young womens’ chastity.
You nodded and continued to work on dinner with him, finishing the dish off with Uncle Harold when he returned to the kitchen. “Looks delicious, kids,” He said, bending to place the dutch oven in the hot oven. “We’ve got an hour,” He said, looking at his watch and back at you and Elvis.
“Mind if Elvis and I hang out in my room?” You asked boldly, unsure of what he would say. It was true that you were an adult, but you still lived under his roof.
“Door open the entire time. No funny business. Make sure I can see your hands at all times.” He paused, his features pulled with skepticism. “I know you’re responsible, but as your guardian–”
“I know. You have nothing to worry about, I promise.” You said softly.
“I’m really a model gentleman outside of the press, sir. Respect comes first, always.” Elvis said, pulling his hands behind his back, standing straight as an arrow.
Uncle Harold eyed Elvis for several moments. “Alright, go on. You don’t get off easy for being a celebrity, young man.” He said, pointing a firm finger at Elvis. If anything, it makes me more aware.” Elvis nodded politely with a polite ‘yessir.’ “You both are responsible for setting the table in forty five minutes. Don’t be late.” You gave him a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek before boldly taking Elvis’s hand and guiding him toward the back of the house and down the hall to your bedroom.
Your room was decorated modestly, adorned with a few paintings and cross-stitchings on the walls. The most impressive thing about your room was the massive library that you had accrued. The ledge of your window was lined with books stacked against one another. You had two large bookshelves on either side of your high boy dresser. Each level was over stacked with hardback books and soft cover books alike, shoved in every open space, creating somewhat of a jigsaw puzzle of color.
“Wow,” he said, walking in toward the collection. His fingers grazed the edges of the books, his eyes tracing over the avalanche of literature. “You really are a little bookworm,” he said, turning to look at you with a smile before returning to the books in front of him.
“Just a little bit,” you say, your hands tucked behind your back as you let his eyes roam. “There’s only a few that I haven’t read yet,” you added, turning your head to small stack of books on your night stand. “Once I’m done with those, they’ll find their place over here somewhere.” He regarded them with a small smile before turning his attention to the wall hangings.
“This is beautiful,” he said, pointing to one of the paintings hanging on your wall. It was a picture of a small house that was painted light blue, with an abundance of flowers lining baskets hanging from each window sill. The front yard was painted in varying shades of green, contoured around a winding gravel driveway. In the background of the painting, there was a small white picket fence winding into the edges of the canvas. A woman bent over with a young child, bent over a small garden. He had no idea what the people in the picture were doing, but you did. You were picking fresh strawberries with your mother.
“That’s my house.” You said softly. “My childhood home.” You reached your hand up in front of Elvis, letting your finger graze over the garden scene. “This is my mama,” You continued. “We’re picking strawberries.” You paused for a moment. “My mother was a painter.” You said, turning to Elvis. “This is my favorite.” You stepped back with your hands on your hips, looking at the painting more analytically than you had before. “I remember her painting it when I was little. I would spend hours in her little studio in the back of that house watching her paint.”
Elvis was quiet, his thumb and index finger cradling his face in thought as he observed the painting. “It’s like a memory captured in a painting…forever,” he said finally, still consumed in thought.
“Every time I look at that painting, I think of my mom. She said that the viewer of the painting was supposed to see what my dad saw when he came home from work one day. I remember mom telling me about the idea on one of those days when I would lay on the floor in her studio.” You backed up and sat on the edge of your bed.
“That’s so–special.” He looked at the painting for another long moment before turning to you. “Your mom loved you so much. I won’t get to meet her, but I can see in this,” he said, tilting his head as he referred back to the painting, “that you and your dad were the loves of her life.”
You smiled softly, feeling the familiar ache rising in your throat. You pushed it back down before responding. “She was wonderful. I connect with her through reading. She always had books. You’d almost never see her without a book in her handbag or with one perched on her chest in bed.”
He leaned against your wall. “If you were to see my house, you’d see that we have similar interests.” He smiled gently. “I read all the time. About almost anything, really. That’s what got me to walk into the store this morning.”
You adjusted in bed to give him space to sit at the foot, patting the flat of your palm against the mattress for him to relax and take a seat. You watched him get comfortable, taking off his shoes and tossing them onto the floor before sitting facing you with his legs crossed.
“What kind of books do you read?” You asked.
He moved to lay on your bed, propping his head up on his elbow. “I read a little bit of everything–the classics, books on theology, numerology…Nancy Drew,” he said with an enthused smile.
“I am sure that you don’t read Nancy Drew,” You said, moving to lay on the bed opposite Elvis, mirroring his position.
“You hardly know me. For all you know, I could be reading nothing more than Dick and Jane.” You eyed him short of rolling your eyes.
“Why are you at my house, Elvis?” You asked, surprised by the bluntness in your delivery.
“What do you mean?” He asked, biting at his bottom lip absently.
“You don’t know me, either–and it feels weird to call you Elvis to your face, not to mention that you are lying on my bed, in my room, in my house…”
He looked at you with amusement. “Well, I didn’t plan to invade your home when I walked into the store this morning.” You watched his free hand smooth over the comforter as he thought. “But it just so happened that I was charmed by you.” You brought your eyes up to his as he finished the sentence.
“You are Elvis Presley. You say that to every woman that walks in and out of your life.” You said simply, before rolling on your back, staring up at the ceiling. “I’m not a naive airhead.” You eyed him and he returned his gaze evenly.
“Entertaining the affections of any young lady who might want me is one thing. As a performer, it’s just part of the job.” He wasn’t entirely wrong–he was America’s heartthrob, and he had the entire country watching him, regardless of what he did and who he did it with.
“But with you, there are no cameras. No news reporters. No shows. No concerts.” He walked his fingers across the blanket as he spoke. “I’m just a man. You’re just a woman.” You sat back up on your elbow.
“What’s so special about me then?” You asked finally, your curiosity getting the best of you.
“You knew who I was when we met, but you didn’t freak out or pass out. You treated me like anyone else. I know I can put on the charm when I need to, but I don’t feel like I have to with you.” He answered you honestly and frankly. “You didn’t even ask me about my career, my life or my money. Tells me you aren’t skin deep like so many are. You can never really know who’s really there for you.”
You paused for a moment, just looking at him. “I don’t believe in idolism. At least I try not to.” You offered him a genuine smile. “Helps bring you down to my level a bit.”
Your heart fluttered as his smile grew, his eyes leaving yours, his face flushing slightly. “Boy, you’re sassy, aren’t you?” He said before bringing his gaze back up to you.
“I’m just me,” You answered simply.
“And that’s all I’ll ever ask for.” The moment was quiet. His free hand floated to your face, smoothing a few flyaways from your eyes, tucking them behind your ear. By some sort of magnetism beyond your control, you felt your body tilting towards him. His eyes traced the outline of your lips before traveling back upward to your eyes, his expression transfixed like you hadn’t seen, his eyes turned glassy. You watched him gently pull closer to you and you gave into the unfamiliar moment, closing your eyes as your lips brushed his for the first time.
“Y/n! Mr. Presley–time to set the table!” Uncle Harold practically shouted from the living room, causing you to startle, hitting Elvis in the head with your own.
“Ow!” You yelped, pulling your hand up to your head.
“Are you okay?” He said, bring his hand to your forearm, more concerned for you than himself.
“I literally just head butted you. Are you okay?” You asked with a soft chuckle, rubbing the spot on your head.
“Darlin’, I’m hard headed. I’m fine.”
“Elvis! Get out here!” Uncle Harold announced once again, this time in a warning tone. You raised your eyebrows at Elvis.
“Coming!” You answered for him, stepping in front of Elvis and heading into the living room with him following behind you. “Sorry, a couple of books fell from my shelf. Hit me in the head,” you lied.
“You’ve got a thing with falling books and bookshelves today,” Evelyn said before popping a few grapes into her mouth as she walked across the living room into the kitchen, eyeing you with a grin.
Elvis walked around the table patiently with you, helping to set down plates and silverware for four. “So where’s your aunt,” he asked quietly.
“She’s visiting her sister in Natchez,” You answered. “She’s gone until the end of the week.” Elvis nodded before walking to grab glasses to place on the table.
***
“I have to say, sir,” Elvis said between bites of food. “You have a beautiful home. It’s so cozy and inviting.” He was piling on the charm, making a point to look around the dining room and into the living room at the various decorations lining the walls and table tops.
“Thank you,” Uncle Harold said quietly, scraping green peas onto his fork.
“And the bookstore. Wow, just wow,” Elvis said before loading his own fork with a mouthful of food.
“Thank you. It was my father’s store.” Uncle Harold continued, taking a sip of his sweet tea. “It opened officially in May of 1889. Lot’s of history there. It’s not very busy right now, but I’m hoping business picks up soon.” He wiped his mouth with his napkin.
“Lots of history here in Memphis. Some treasures you’d never know about. I’m glad I walked in this morning.” Elvis answered.
“So tell me, Mr. Presley,” Uncle Harold began.
“Oh please. Elvis.” Elvis corrected politely.
“Mr. Presley,” He continued. You eyed Elvis, raising an eyebrow slightly.
“What brought you into my bookstore this morning, knowing good and well you’d be recognized?” He waited for an answer as he sipped on his beverage.
“Well, it didn’t look very busy when I came in, and I’m a big reader. I was telling Y/n earlier. It’s one of my hobbies when I need time away from–you know–the noise.” Elvis answered carefully, unsure of what was coming next.
“Mmmhmm. Don’t you have some gigantic mansion on highway 51…at the top of that big ole hill?” He asked somewhat speculatively.
“Yessir. My family lives there with me. It sure is a lovely home. I’m grateful for it, but sometimes it’s nice to get out and see different things.” Uncle Harold nodded slowly. “Well, you are welcome back any time, just try not to turn my business into a spectacle.”
“Never, sir. I’d never disrespect you or your business,” Elvis answered, placing his palm on his chest to convey that he was genuine.
You finished your meal thankfully with no further interrogation. Uncle Harold was very protective, and the headlines running in the newspapers and gossip magazines only made his hackles stand up further. It wasn’t that he disliked Elvis; moreso, that he didn’t trust him. Celebrities always have an undertow about them–something that evades public speculation. That’s why idolism exists. It’s too easy to get caught up with putting together pieces and parts of a narrative that doesn’t end up being true. So, it was generally accepted by most adults that Elvis Presley was a scoundrel, out to steal as many womens’ virginities and moral compasses as possible.
“Uncle Harold, you can go sit down. Elvis and I can clean up dinner,” You urged, hoping he wouldn’t argue.
“Oh well it’s not that much, I can do it,” He continued, getting up from the dining room.
“No, I want to. For letting us close the store earlier than usual.” You laid it on thick.
“Well, okay then. Evelyn, please take the trash out. Don’t forget. Garbage truck comes tomorrow morning, bright and early.” He eyed his daughter sternly.
“Yes, daddy,” she answered, rising from the table.
***
“I had a good time today,” Elvis admitted, his hands deep in the sink washing dishes from dinner. He refused to let you wash dishes and you bargained with him to dry them instead. “I can’t tell you the last time–” He paused. “Nevermind.”
“No, tell me. I want to know,” You said, leaning up against the counter as you listened. “Please.” You gave him your best puppy dog pout, your insides churning when his full lips spread back into that irresistible smile.
“I just don’t meet new people often who aren’t connected somehow to my music or my fame,” He said, beginning on a new plate. “It’s refreshing.” He handed you the plate and you took it, continuing to dry.
“Well, I think at this point, it’s almost impossible to meet any woman who doesn’t know who you are,” You answered honestly, putting up the plate in the cabinet above your head. He shrugged, agreeing with your statement.
“I love what I do,” he said, turning to look at you as he scrubbed. “But most people, fans included, assume I’m some stupid looker with a good voice.” You smiled, taking the next plate from him.
“Then who are you, Elvis Presley?” You asked, raising a flirtatious eyebrow.
“I’m an artist.” He said without hesitation. “I’ve got a God given voice, and I’m gonna use it.” You observed him, finally looking at him for who he was behind the beauty and glamor. He finished the last plate, handing it to you to dry and put up before wiping his wet hands on his trousers. You placed the dish back in the cabinet as he turned around to lean against the counter and face you. “Colonel watches me so closely, I swear. I’m surprised we haven’t heard police cars whirlin’ by trying to find me,” He chuckled softly, raking his damp hand through his hair.
“Well, I’d be amazed if they found their way here,” You responded.
“That’s the best part. Some freedom.” He paused for a moment. “I don’t know if you’ve seen Graceland or not–it’s a big house and all and yes, I have everything I’ll ever need there–but it was nice to get to be normal today, at least as close to normal as I’ll ever get.”
***
You walked Elvis out of the house quietly, without your uncle having to ask him to leave. You liked Elvis, but you weren’t counting on seeing him again past the lovely day that you shared.
“You know, you aren’t at all who I thought you’d be like,” You admitted to him.
“Who’d you expect, Cheeks? A sex crazed, egomaniac?” He asked the question lightheartedly, letting out a throaty chuckle.
“Mm, maybe,” You answered with a bashful grin.
“I am deeply hurt, Cheeks.” He smiled at you beautifully, throwing his hand to his chest, feigning upset. You chuckled softly before letting the conversation settle into a moment of expectant silence.
“I’m glad I met you, Y/n.” He offered, beginning his goodbye. “I had a wonderful time today. You have a wonderful ability of bringing me back down to my roots. You and your family are a reminder of humble and prideful living.” You braced yourself to let him go and for you to exchange the pleasantries you were sure he had heard so many times before. “You make me crave normalcy–somethin’ I-,” He shook his head with an awkward grin. “Something I thought I’d never want again.
“I’m glad you had a good time, Elvis. You certainly are as charming as they say,” You offered, trying your best not to give into the melancholy.
“I was raised right besides the whole “pelvis” thing, I guess,” He said, shaking his hips, eliciting a giggle from you. “That’s the sound of music to my ears.”
“What is?” You asked, still smiling.
“Your voice. Your laugh. You are quite the woman, Y/n.” His compliment made you soar and hide within yourself at the same time. You weren’t used to flattery, especially not from one of the most famous rising stars in America. Who would be?
“Thank you,” you answered modestly.
“Can I ask you a question?” He asked, his tone lowering softly. His expression had changed to something that almost looked like nervousness.
“Of course,” You asked, taken back. You weren’t sure what he was about to ask.
“I-” I started, stroking his chin in thought. “I’d like to see you again.” His eyes shot straight through you, almost daring you to maintain eye contact.
“You can always come by the bookstore,” You offered. He chuckled, taking your hand softly, bringing it up to his lips, delivering a singer kiss on your lips. “I’m counting on it.”
Elvis ignited something within you; something that you never thought you’d feel. Of course you’d had your crushes and short lived romances, but they never led to anything more. “I will see you soon,” He said, leaning into you, “Cheeks.” He kissed you softly on the cheekbone, backing away slowly, letting the moment linger between you two. “When I kneel for my evening prayers,” He started, turning around to speak to you from the middle of the lawn, “I’ll be thinking of you.” He smiled genuinely. “Have a wonderful night, Y/n.” He looked at you once more, as if he would forget your face if he didn’t.
“Goodnight, Elvis.”

Two Weeks- Alpha Gang Orca x Omega f!reader
Hello everyone! Was in an odd mood, so I wrote this little drabble epilogue for A Matter of Admiration. While this short could be read as a stand alone, it will absolutely make a lot more sense if you read the main story first.
Content warning- Omegaverse, fluff, minorly suggestive
Kugo impatiently tapped his fingers on his desk. It was approaching midnight as he stared at the clock on his computer screen. Each second seemed like five as he waited for the minutes to tick by. This had become a usual habit of his in the last few months. At least three times a week he could be found here at this time doing exactly the same thing. It used to be every day, until you had realized what he was doing. A scolding he probably would have ignored, but he felt like he was going to die the week you wouldn’t accept his calls. It hadn’t been any comfort to see you looked in as bad of shape as he did after that week.
Three minutes after midnight the videocall request notification lit up his screen. It’s a wonder Kugo didn’t break the mouse with how fast and forcefully he clicked accept. Your smiling face lit up his screen and his heart.
“Hello Handsome. Miss me?”
“Every second.” He murmured.
Your smile softened. “Miss you too. Promise you’re actually getting sleep though?”
“I am. Wish you were here though. Hate this time difference.”
“Me too, love. Me too. It’s only for a few more weeks though.”
“And then you’re home and never leaving my sight again.”
You chuckled. “I think that would make patrols rather difficult, beloved.”
He smiled at you, leaning his head on his hand as the tension of the day drained from his shoulders. “We’d figure something out. I’m sure you could come up with something.”
“I absolutely could. But I don’t think tactical baby harness would be a good look on you.”
“Oh, I don’t know. The public might find it charming. Soften my image.”
You laughed. “As if you’d let me anywhere close to the action.”
Kugo hummed and nodded as he contemplated. “This is true. Guess I’ll just have to retire from hero work and become your lab assistant.”
“You’d burn down my lab in an hour.”
“Well then, I guess I’ll just have to become your sugar baby.”
You cackled. “Oh. My. God. You did not just say that. You absolutely did not say that.”
“What’s the matter? Don’t want to buy your sugar baby pretty things?”
You wheezed. “That’s it. I’m hanging up.”
He nodded, making an exaggerated sad face. “Parental abandonment. No wonder I resorted to becoming a sugar baby.”
You were gasping with laughter. “Stop!”
He grinned as he watched you. He loved when you laughed, memorizing the way your mouth open and the crinkles by your eyes. You calmed, wiping the tears of laughter away. You attempted and didn’t quite succeed in trying to look stern.
“You’re not allowed to use the phrase ‘sugar baby’ ever again.”
“No promises.”
You shake your head, leaning back in your chair, your spine popping in protest. “Fearsome Gang Orca, everyone thinks. So stern and serious and strict. Always intimidating. What a crock.”
“Disappointed?”
You smile softly. “Never. Love you, Alpha.”
It had been months, and it still filled his stomach with butterflies every time he heard it.
“Love you too, omega. You taking care of yourself? Have you eaten yet?”
You shook your head. “Taking care as much as the job allows, but haven’t eaten yet. Give me a sec and I’ll grab it.”
Kugo watched his screen as you stood and made your way across the lab you were in. He wished he could reach through the screen and touch, and smell, and bite. Your form was perfect. You were perfect. You were perfect and his. And you were over ten thousand kilometers away. He growled low in the back of his throat.
You smirked as you settled yourself back into your seat. “Behave, Alpha.”
He cleared his throat, flushing. He hadn’t even realized he was making noise. Kugo brought his attention fully back to you, a gentle smile spreading across his face when he saw what you held.
“I miss those almost as much as I miss you.”
“Wish I still could get them to you somehow. But I don’t think a bento would survive that long of a trip. And I know you. You’d eat it anyway and make yourself sick.”
“Well, couldn’t let your hard work go to waste.”
You shook your head. “You’re at least eating though? Promise?”
“I am, promise. Even if nothing is half as good as what you make.”
The conversation continued on, Kugo mostly talking as you ate. He told you about how things were at the agency, making you laugh at stories about the trouble the new interns had gotten themselves into. In no time at all, an hour had flown by. The clock chiming if your lab interrupted your chatter about the latest gadget you had been tinkering with. You frowned and sighed. “Guess I need to get back to the grind.”
“I wish you didn’t.” Kugo murmured.
“I know. But just two more weeks now.”
“Two more weeks. Feels like forever.”
“I know.” You smiled sadly. “But it will be over quicker than you think. Unless I take Jim up on his offer to renew my contract of course.”
Kugo growled loudly and you laughed. “Don’t even joke about that.”
“You don’t need to worry. It’s been fun and I’ve learned a lot, but your agency has certain benefits nowhere else can match. Such as the handsomest Alpha in the world.”
Said alpha gave a pleased rumble. Kugo caressed the side of his screen, wishing he could touch you instead. “Just two weeks.”
“Two weeks.”
“You’ll be lucky if I don’t just mate you at the airport.”
“I wouldn’t mind, if I didn’t think it would tank your hero ratings. Actually nevermind, I would mind. Your rank would go up because people would be ogling my handsome Alpha.”
Kugo chuckled. “Wouldn’t want anyone getting too good a view of my pretty omega, either.”
The two of you smiled, just drinking each other in for a few moments longer.
“Do have to go now,” you sighed.
“Go do brilliant work like you always do.”
“Two weeks.”
“Two weeks.”

little hacker
avengers x fem!teen!reader
characters: brief clint barton, tony stark, steve rogers, natasha romanoff, peter parker
summary: you hacked into tony's systems and he, along with the team, track you down.
warnings: mentions of death and a car crash, hacking written by someone who has no idea how it works
word count: 3241
note: hi um this is my first oneshot on tumblr i hope you like it!!
you were 14 when you first met the avengers. your family had gotten into a tragic car accident and you were the only one who made it out alive, leaving you in excessive guilt and burden; guilt because you were the only one granted a second chance at life and burden because you had to live your life, barely scraping by as you were dropped the responsibility of taking care of your sick grandmother.
at 11, where all that the kids your age had to worry about was whether their pocket money was enough to get themselves an after-school snack, you worried whether or not the money left to your name was enough to survive.
at 11, where girls worried about their changing bodies and asked their mothers about it, you had to figure it all out yourself and with the help of your trusty laptop, the only gadget you had, one that your dad had gifted to you after you had gotten 100s for all your tests at age 8. he thought you were his little prodigy and figured a laptop would treat you well. you took care of it well because while you didn't want to spend the last of your money left, —that was specifically set aside for your grandmother's hospital bills— you wanted to hold on to the laptop for as long as you could, as a reminder of your loving father, as well as the memories the item held, after you've watched movies with pretty much all of your passed family members on that laptop at different points in your life. that was why whenever the thing lagged due to how much you've been using it, you almost always figure out how to fix it until it was good as new.
at 12, while your classmates had their parents to protect them when they were out at night, you feared for your life whenever you were out past dark. which led you to learning self defence from youtube videos. you learned them pretty quickly and with your sharp-wittedness, you no longer feared to be out at night. you even had the honours of trying out your skills when some men thought they could get you just because you were smaller than them.
at 12, where kids your age were having fun, enjoying their childhood, you had no choice but to be mature and think for the good of yourself and your sick grandmother. you were forced to grow up and you were probably more mature and intelligent than the rest of your classmates combined.
and at 13, you realised that money wasn't going to grow on trees and the money you were left with wasn't going to last forever. it had to last until you were old enough to work. but with your grandmother's condition getting worse and worse, you were forced to drop out of school. you were upset because you loved it. you loved knowledge. but family came first and the only thing that your knowledge increased on was on computers.
which led to you being able to hack into tony stark's bank account at only 14. you had no other choice than to steal money and who better to steal it from than a guy whose pocket change could probably last you another five years or so? you knew who tony stark was, the whole world knows who he is. and you thought that maybe he would be too preoccupied with his alter ego saving the whole world, along with his group of earth's mightiest heroes that he wouldn't notice the tiny bit of money you'd stolen from him.
of course the billionaire had been alerted immediately by his AI when you'd accessed into his systems. "security breach?" he exclaimed, immediately dropping the tool he was tinkering his suit with in his lab.
he spent about 3 minutes, that was how long you took touring around in his systems, observing what you did in it. he watched as you did nothing about the highly confidential information he had and instead, stole....5 grand from his bank account? that was barely a scratch to his account. what was going on?
he had requested FRIDAY to track down the hacker, mainly because he was perplexed that someone had hacked into his well protected system just to steal a tiny bit of money but it seems that even FRIDAY couldn't track down where it came from.
he told the team and it was then that everyone worried how dangerous the hacker could possibly be.
"who steals just 5 grand after hacking into a billionaire's bank account?" clint frowned after tony had explained the whole situation. "i mean, if i managed to hack into your systems, i'd do way more than just steal a couple bucks."
"exactly. and who knows? they might just be waiting for the right moment to install dangerous malware into the system and until we find the culprit, they're roaming somewhere out there with all our confidential information right at the tip of their fingers. if they decide to use it against us..." tony trailed off, for once having a worried expression on his otherwise nonchalant face. he's never been this clueless about what to do with any sort of technical issues concerning the avengers or himself.
you on the other hand, after getting complacent that you weren't caught, kept doing so for the next couple months or so. you had no ill intentions, just trying to scrape by. the whole situation puzzled tony. he didn't care how much you've taken from him in total now, you were right; it was merely pocket change to him. but you were still considered a threat since you had free access to his systems and he didn't even know who you were or where you were.
that was until you made a tiny mistake, one that if tony wasn't spending every waking moment trying to track you down he wouldn't have noticed. and though it was a small mistake, it certainly was going to change how things ran from then on.
that afternoon, after having just gotten back from visiting your grandmother at the hospital, you were planning to get more money from the billionaire's bank account at the comfort of your own home. god, hospital bills were expensive. once you had had a little snack, you settled down on the couch and opened your laptop. but being the quick-witted person you were, before the screen in front of you lit up, you saw movement from behind you.
your heart raced. you could handle fighting people but those usually happened in alleys at nighttime. this was in your home, your safe place. you made sure to lock the doors and there weren't fire escapes outside your windows so how did the intruder get in?
you could tell they were trying to be inconspicuous to get to you and so you let them. you let the person think that they were going to get you without a fight but when they were right behind you, you swiftly turned your body around and jumped over the couch. the masked intruder let out a surprised yelp and the two of you fought for a bit. before you knew it, you had them pinned under you in just ten seconds.
"wha– how– what?" it sounded like a boy. you looked down at him and noticed his red and blue spandex suit. you frowned. wasn't this the friendly neighbourhood spiderman guy or something? why was a superhero breaking into your home?
he was coughing from your knee pressing down onto his chest and you lifted it slightly, enough for him to breathe but not enough to escape. he seemed grateful though because he muttered a seemingly embarrassed 'thanks'.
"get off the kid or i'll blast you off of him myself."
you look up and saw the iron man repulsor aimed right at you, and obviously iron man himself was standing right there in the middle of your small apartment. behind him stood a redhead, who you knew as the black widow, aiming a pistol at you, and a man with a shield, captain america. the spiderboy must've come in through the window and unlocked the door for them.
when you made eye contact with steve, he frowned in confusion. you looked way too young to be the culprit they had expected. he muttered a quiet 'wait, what?' before tony stark revealed himself, his iron man faceplate opening.
"um...kid? where are your parents? or guardian? we need to see them because there's been some highly illegal activity coming from this address." the man in the suit spoke. you stayed still, knee still pressing against the boy under you, frowning at the adults in the room. they noticed your apprehensiveness and slowly lowered their weapons. "we're not here to hurt you, you can release the boy now," steve told you gently.
you usually weren't one to trust easily but since these people were known superheroes, you reluctantly stood up, still anxious of the possibilities of what they could do to you. the spiderboy got up too and dusted his back, before going to stand next to steve. you were confused as to why these heroes were breaking in your home until you remembered what you had been up to for the past weeks. how could you forget when that was the only reason you were still surviving?
your eyes widened with fear when they met tony's soft ones. he looked at you with such care and worry that you were reminded of your late dad. the man in front of you wasn't the arrogant man you've watched on youtube. you felt bad for stealing from him now. you used to think that he deserved it, despite how little you took compared to how much he had. the man knelt down before you so he didn't appear so big in front of you, seeing your frightened expression. little did he know you were frightened for a totally different reason.
"anyone else living here, kid? because i tracked down this address and someone has been stealing money from me. i might need to have a little talk with them." he explained, looking around the house. you fiddled with the hem of your shirt nervously, scared of what would come once you came clean about your actions. you were scared you were going to be taken in for juvenile crime but you were also scared of the consequences of lying straight to their faces. so you took a deep breath before deciding to just tell the truth.
"t–that would be me, sir." you admitted in a small voice, avoiding eye contact with the billionaire you had been stealing from. a few shocked looks from the team and an incredulous 'what?' from tony had you biting the inside of your cheeks in fear.
"i'm truly sorry about that, sir. i..." you trailed off, debating whether or not to justify your actions because you thought that he might not even want to listen to it. "i had to pay off my grandmother's hospital bills because she is very sick. my family died a few years ago in a car crash and i was the only one who made it. i was left some money to my name but having to survive on that along with paying off nana's bills, it was bound to run out. i...i thought that since you were a billionaire, stealing a few thousands wouldn't matter to you...i'm so sorry, sir. i– i'll start working to pay you back.." you stuttered out, holding your hands together so it would minimise the shaking.
tony's mouth opened and closed, like fish out of water, not knowing what to say to you. he stood up and you were on the verge of breaking down right then and there, feeling as small as you did before he knelt before you. "p–please don't report me, sir. i– i don't know what would happen to my nana if you do.. i swear to you that i didn't mess with your other files. i only accessed the system for your bank account and that was it. i have no ill intentions, please don't report me.." you were now the one kneeling down in front of him, begging.
the team were flabbergasted at the scene unfolding before them and tony was quick to get you off your knees, which scared you even more because the death grip of his metal hands on your forearms had your mind running wild at the millions of possibilities of what he would do to you. was he going to kill you and leave you somewhere that people were never going to find your body? or was he going to dispose of you and use his power to remove you permanently from the system so no one came looking for you? he had the power to ruin your life and you feared that.
snapping you out of your mental breakdown, he spoke softly. "hey, it's okay." and that was when you realised the 'death grip' he had on your forearms had only been your paranoia getting the best of you. he was barely even touching you. your teary eyes looked up at his soft, brown ones in fear.
then he smiled at you.
"it's okay. i understand the reason why you did what you did. you're a good kid, your nana is so lucky to have you. what's your name?" he knelt down before you once again, knowing that him standing tall in his iron man suit terrified you. "y/n." you responded timidly.
"how old are you, y/n?" this time, it was steve who asked. you had forgotten that there were other people in the room, too consumed by your fear for your life a few moments ago. "i'm fourteen, mr america, sir." you whispered out, the sight of captain america in person intimidating you until you saw a kind smile on his face.
"you're pretty young to be doing what you've been doing, y/n. are you aware that you're the first person to be able to hack into my heavily protected, supposedly impenetrable network? many have tried to do so and failed, and they were really smart people too. have you been doing this for a while?" tony asked.
"um...my father gifted me this laptop when i was 8 because i did exceptionally well in school. he believed i was a child prodigy and let me have a laptop since he knew my studies wouldn't be affected by the distraction of entertainment. i used to only hack into games to cheat my way up the ranks but only recently i tried something else since i had nothing better to do and i've been out of school for a while now. i knew you were a billionaire so i tried just for the heck of it and surprised myself when i got in on the first try. and then i saw your bank account details and i really needed money so i stole some... again, i'm so sorry about that." you apologised, looking down at your feet.
he couldn't believe it. you were just messing around and you managed to get into his system? you, a mere fourteen year old who was out of school, managed to single handedly do what geniuses around the world had failed to do?
he was initially just going to have a talk with the hacker, and in case they were dangerous and had backup, he brought his own. but bringing steve, natasha and peter proved to be unnecessary when the culprit turned out to be you.
"where did you learn those moves?" natasha stepped closer towards you. you looked up at the redhead, noticing the glare she had on you when she aimed her pistols at you was replaced with curiosity.
you fiddled with the hem of your shirt even more, embarrassed to tell her that you learned to fight from a couple of youtube videos when she had gotten years of actual training. you were pathetic compared to her. "i, um, i learned them from some youtube videos."
her eyebrows raised in surprise at the revelation. you hadn't gotten professional training yet you moved like you had. peter had superhuman strength, agility and endurance yet you took him down in under ten seconds. sure it may have been a disadvantage to peter because he was caught off guard but he should've been able to take you down still.
now was tony going to let the chance of a lifetime slip by? no, of course he was immediately thinking of recruiting you. your dad had been right about you being a prodigy. you adapted to new skills quickly and you were perfect for recruitment.
"hey kid, wanna be an avenger?"
your eyes widened and your jaw dropped in shock. steve immediately turned to him, an incredulous look on his face as he glared dangerously at the billionaire. "stark, you wanna think about this for a minute?"
"thank about what, cap? you saw what she did to the spiderling. and she successfully hacked into my system on her first try and we took weeks to trace her. romanoff back me up here," he saw how impressed natasha was by you and he knew the redhead wasn't going to disagree. "stark's right, steve. she's only fourteen and she's capable of so much already. we need someone like her."
"exactly! she's only fourteen! this life is dangerous for her!" steve argued. peter then tapped his shoulder to get his attention. "hey, mr rogers, i'm a sixteen-year-old avenger and she took me down easily. not gonna lie, it hurt my pride, also my back when you flipped me over your shoulder," he turned to you but you didn't say anything because you couldn't see his facial expression. "but i think she's going to be okay, sir."
steve sighed before turning to you, the defeated expression on his face softening when you looked up at him with your doe eyes and a small smile. you didn't answer to tony just yet since it seemed that steve had a say in it as well but you were dying to say yes. not only were you not going to be reported for your crimes but to be recruited by iron man himself to be an avenger? who could say no to that? not you, at least, since you had nothing better to do with your life at the moment.
"well, what do you say, kid?"
your smile grew and you nodded happily. the team couldn't help but crack a smile at how happy you looked for the first time since they've encountered you.
"well, you should go pack your important stuff so we can go back to the tower. you're going to be moving in if you're an official member of the avengers." tony told you and you nodded, walking towards your room to start packing while the team sat on the couch to wait for you.
"wait, what's going to happen to my nana?" you turned back towards them, worry etched onto you face. "don't worry about it, kid. you can give me the details later and i'll settle it. she'll be in good hands." he assured. "okay." you mumbled in response.
you were actually going to be an avenger. "awesome.." you grinned to yourself as you packed.

STRAY KIDS EVERYWHERE ALL AROUND THE WORLD.
Tumblr media
Don't do it, you thought, as you fought back the urge to bite Chris' exposed arm. The said male's attention was currently fixated on his laptop, clicking some buttons as he bopped his head with the beat that was playing in his headphones. You could faintly hear the tune due to Chris' habit of turning up the volume too loud, claiming that he needed to do that to perfect his craft.
His arm flexed, unbeknownst to him, as he rubbed his neck in attempt to ease some of the tension that was building in his muscles. Such motion made his veins even more prominent, faint shades of green and blue laced through his upper arm down to his hands.
"Chris, stop," you said as you grabbed his arm, slowly guiding it back to rest on the table. Your boyfriend looked at you in confusion, swiftly hitting pause on his laptop to focus on you.
"Stop what, baby?" he questioned as his brown orbs innocently stared into yours, a hint of concern was also displayed on his features, worrying if he had done something wrong for you to call him out.
"I'm sorry, I'll get this done right away," Chris added quickly, taking your hand into his and pressing a kiss on your knuckles. You offered him a sweet smile as you shook your head.
"No, babe. I wasn't talking about that," you explained, shifting in your seat to take a better look at him. Chris slid his headphones off, setting the gadget right beside his laptop. "Then what is it, bub?" he pressed, "You know you can tell me anything, yeah?"
"It's just," you paused as a sudden wave of embarrassment hit you. "Just what?" Chris prompted for you to go on. You shook your head, deciding to bite back the reply that was at the tip of your tongue. "Nothing. Forget I said anything, go back to work," you shrugged, flashing him a convincing smile as you reached out for your phone.
Chris eyed you suspiciously, sensing that there was something odd about your behavior. "I'm not going back to work unless you tell me what's going on," he stated. "Look at me, baby," he instructed as his finger firmly tilted your chin up. "Spill, (y/n)," he said, taking your phone from your hand as he carefully placed it on the table.
"It's embarrassing," you whined, pulling away from his grip, opting to nuzzle your face into his neck. "It's just me, babe," he chuckled, "Come on, baby."
"Exactly, it's you," you muttered, sending shivers down Chris' spine as your lips grazed the sensitive skin of his neck as you spoke. "What about me, love?" he asked as he grabbed your waist, pulling you towards him, making you settle on his lap. Your arms automatically wrapped themselves around his shoulders with your face still buried in his neck as he maneuvered you into a comfortable position.
"Youandyourstupidmuscletanktops," you breathed out in one go. "What?" Chris laughed, "What was that, babygirl?"
He heard you the first time, managing to catch your words despite how muffled you sounded. But still, he wanted to tease you.
"I hate you," you mumbled. "I hate you and your arms, and how they make me feel."
"No, you don't," Chris interjected. "Because if this is how you react when you hate them, then how much more flustered will you get when you actually love them," he teased.
You groaned in annoyance. "See? This is why I didn't want to tell you," you said as you emerged from your hiding. "So, you were ogling at my arms, huh?" Chris joked, cocking one eyebrow at you.
"Whatever, I'm joining Hyunjin in the dance room," you pouted, pushing yourself off of him, but Chris only tightened his hold on you. "No, baby," Chris whined, "Alright, I'm sorry, no more teasing."
Chris leaned in and gave you a kiss, one that lasted longer than usual. "You're the cutest," he cooed to which you responded with an eye roll. "I'm flattered that you like my arms," Chris said, "I've been working out with Bin a lot these days," he added.
"Yeah, I've noticed," you replied as you lightly traced the veins that adorned his upper arm with your fingers. Chris visibly relaxed under your touch, his eyes followed your movement, fascinated by your actions. "I'm glad you noticed," Chris giggled, suddenly growing shy from the attention he was getting from you. Not that he wasn't used to it, but it was the first time that you verbally expressed your fixation on his arms. He might have noticed your stares now and then, but he really didn't make a big deal out of it.
"Well, how can I not when you've been wearing a lot of sleeveless tops nowadays," you pointed out. Chris lifted his shoulders in a half shrug and you shook your head at your boyfriend's cocky demeanor, snuggling back into his embrace.
"I find them comfortable," Chris claimed. "And I find them distracting," you countered back. "Yeah, clearly," he teased, earning him a light smack on his right arm. "I just want to be in your arms forever," you said and Chris smiled at your response, planting a kiss on your forehead in the process.
"I'm here, baby. I got you forever."
The both of you stayed cuddled up for a while, with one of Chris' hand gently stroking your hair while the other was wrapped around your waist, keeping you close to him.
"I missed you," you spoke after a while. "Like a lot," you added as you peppered Chris' neck with small kisses. "I missed you more, babygirl," he replied. "Alright, let me finish up and we'll go home," Chris released his hold on you, gently guiding you back to your seat.
An hour later, you guys were home, with you on the bed and Chris currently taking a shower. You were sprawled out on your stomach as you mindlessly scrolled through your phone, answering messages from your friends that popped up in your notification center every now and then.
Your attention was only shifted when Chris emerged out of the bathroom, clad in nothing but black sweatpants and a small towel hanging on his right shoulder, leaving his upper body bare. He sat on the edge of the bed with his back to you as you watched him dry his hair with the towel.
"Here, babe, I'll do it for you," you offered as you crawled to where he was. You tapped his shoulder, motioning for him to sit on the carpeted floor of your shared bedroom as you placed your legs on his sides. Chris' body nestled between your parted legs, crossing his own and making himself comfortable. "Thanks," he said, handing you the towel.
"You did well today," you complimented which earned you a shy chuckle from Chris. "You say that everyday," he noted, dodging your praises. "Because you do well everyday, Chris," you insisted, harshly ruffling his hair to make your point. The black-haired male whined at your sudden action, tilting his head up to pout at you. "You're such a baby," you teased, leaning down to kiss his lips. "But I'm your baby," Chris replied, catching your lips in another kiss.
"Yes, you are, so you better wear more sleeves from now on," you squeezed his arms, and then leaned down to plant a kiss on his exposed shoulder. "Aww, is my queen jealous?" Chris joked, poking your cheek. You huffed in response. "Don't worry, beautiful," he paused as he turned his body around to properly face you. "They may be out there for everyone to see, but they're only yours to touch and feel, and occasionally ogle at," he continued, a giggle escaping his lips as he delivered the latter line.
"I do not ogle," you argued, playfully hitting his arm with your fist. Chris laughed and stood up, hovering over your seated figure. He placed his hands on your sides, caging you within his arms. With Chris being so close, you could smell the all too familiar scent of his body wash -- it was safe to say that it took quite a lot of control not to pounce on him right there and then. "Yeah, sorry. I meant drool," he mocked.
You scoffed at his remark. "Forget it, I'm gonna ogle at Changbin's arms instead," you challenged and Chris immediately dropped his act. "Don't you dare," he gasped and attacked you with kisses. You yelped in surprise, throwing your head back as you giggled, which only allowed Chris to have better access to your neck.
"Alright, alright," you managed to say in between giggles, "I'm kidding, Chris!"
Chris stopped, placing one final kiss on your lips as he detached himself from you. "Good, 'cause you're mine," he stated. "I'm yours, always. I promise," you reassured as your hands came up to gently caress his cheeks. Chris melted under your touch, basking within the affection you were giving him.
You closed the gap between the two of you, connecting your lips with his once more. Chris caught you off guard for a second when he deepened the kiss. It was slow and soft at first, but things quickly turned heated when Chris nibbled on your bottom lip, and at your grant of access, he delved inside your mouth.
You raked your hands through his brown curly locks, lightly tugging at the strands as you pulled him closer, which elicited a soft moan from Chris, his own hands finding their way under your top.
"Alright, sugar lips," you chuckled as you pulled away from Chris, halting his advances, "Go put a shirt on, you need to rest."
"Don't want to," Chris insisted as he towered over your figure once again. "And why not?" you asked, raising one eyebrow at him. "Because I wanna love on you right now," he answered, "So lie back, babygirl."

summary: when Peter goes missing while on a mission, he’s not exactly himself when he returns. His appetite is a little different now, and you soon find out that he’s hungry for more than just blood
~
You should’ve known that something was wrong when your phone went off at nearly 3 in the morning. No one ever called you that late, not even Peter. Your best friend was more likely to slip through your window if he needed something. Groggy with fatigue, it took you a moment to realize that you had not plugged your phone up before going to sleep like you thought, and that it was instead in your sheets somewhere.
“Hello?” you finally grumbled, eyes still closed as you wondered just who in the world was calling you.
“Kid, it’s Tony. Is Peter with you?”
You were suddenly wide awake, blinking your eyes open as you forced yourself to sit up.
“No…? I thought… Isn’t he on a mission?”
Worry began to bleed into your heart, and it only increased at Tony’s words.
“He was, yeah.”
You threw the covers off of you, hurriedly sliding out of bed as you searched for some shoes.
“What do you mean ‘was’?”
The older man sighed, and you noted that his voice shook a little bit. You froze, heart dropping into your stomach as the severity of whatever was going on registered. Tony Stark was worried.
“He was supposed to check in 2 days ago. He was supposed to be back today. Neither of those things have happened.”
“Wh-what do you mean?”
Your pitch had risen, and you didn’t bother to mask your fear.
“I don’t have much time to explain. Capsicle and Robocop are coming with me to see if we can find him. We’re leaving shortly, but my coordinates show that he’s still in Bulgaria. That’s where we sent him. We just haven’t heard a word from him and can’t seem to get in touch with him.”
You could hear things going on in the background, and you figured that they were only moments away from leaving. Your stomach churned, and you felt like you might be sick. If Tony Stark with all of his gadgets and resources couldn’t get ahold of Peter, then something was really wrong.
“Look, I have to go. If he shows up there, let us know immediately.”
He hung up before you had the chance to tell him that you were coming straight to the compound. You stared at your phone for a bit, brows drawn together as you processed this news. You hadn’t thought anything of it when you hadn’t heard from Peter in a few days. He wasn’t a kid anymore, had graduated college alongside you only last year, so his presence on the team was needed a lot more. His missions were less juvenile, so losing touch for a week at a time was nothing new.
As you threw on a coat to combat the biting New York air, you tried not to dwell on the worst. It couldn’t be helped though, and as soon as you stepped into your apartment hallway, shoulder grazing your door, tears filled your eyes. If Tony could see where Peter currently was...and he wasn’t able to get in touch with him...then that meant he was dead right? You shook your head, locking your door and tightening your fingers around your purse. There could be so many reasons for that. It didn’t mean he was dead.
The entire drive to upstate New York was a quiet one. You couldn’t even find it in yourself to fill the car with mind-numbing music to distract you. Your fingers were tight on the wheel, legs so tense that when you finally arrived at the compound, they actually hurt when you stepped out of the car. You leaned your back against the vehicle, the warmth seeping through your coat, and you released an unsteady breath.
You had known Peter since high school, easily finding a place with him and Ned, and eventually, MJ too. When Ned and MJ took their college education elsewhere, you had remained. You told yourself it was to save money, a partial truth, but you never wanted to admit that it was also to stay by Peter’s side. You couldn’t imagine being away from him. It was pathetic really, but Peter was more than some guy you loved. He was your best friend.
“I had a feeling you’d show up here.”
The familiar voice reached your ears, and you looked up at Wanda just as she floated down next to you. Her auburn hair was ruffled with a gentle breeze, her eyes sympathetic as she reached out to pull you into her side.
“They will find him,” she assured you.
You could hear Sam on the phone as soon as she guided you inside of the compound, and he sent you a tense smile and wave, which you returned. You could faintly hear other voices as well, and you figured that everyone who stayed back was wrapped up in doing whatever they could to get in contact with Peter. You felt helpless.
“What can I do?” you asked Wanda, already knowing the answer.
“Just be here,” she told you, making you sigh.
“Wanda…”
You gave her a reproachful look, and she smiled at you.
“We know you’re worried just like the rest of us, probably even more than the rest of us,” you swallowed at her knowing look. “...but everything will be okay. The last thing we need is you putting yourself in harm’s way or bursting a blood vessel.”
You nodded, heeding her words. You made your way to your room with a heavy heart. You were far from being a member of the team, you could barely throw a proper punch, but seeing as you came over so often with Peter, sometimes in the dead of night, Tony decided to have you a room put in. Right next to Peter’s.
One of his old college sweatshirts was on your desk, still there from the last time you borrowed it, and without thinking, you got undressed and put it on. It still smelled like him, and with the scent of your best friend filling your nose, you laid down and sought out sleep.
Tumblr media
The next day brought bad news. They had found Peter’s suit, but no Peter. It explained his stationary location and their lack of success with getting in touch with him. You had just stepped into the door of the room when Tony told them, his virtual face wracked with fear and worry, something you weren’t used to seeing.
You could tell that you weren’t meant to hear the news just yet by the way Nat’s eyes widened when she finally noticed you. The rest of the team turned as she hurriedly rose, making her way to you just as your face crumbled.
“Y/N-.”
“Wh-what does that mean? What does he mean?”
Tony’s voice faded as she pulled you from the room, and you almost tripped over your feet as your legs shook.
“Hey, Y/N, it’s going to be okay,” she said, attempting to calm you.
“What does he mean by that? Why doesn’t he have his suit- where is he?”
You were in your room now, and she shushed you as she guided you to your bed. You sat down, staring at your feet as your brain whirled. You hadn’t realized how fast your heart was beating, and your whole body shook as you fought to process this news.
“I don’t understand,” you mumbled, more to yourself than the spy before you.
She came into your vision as she knelt before you, her hands taking yours.
“Me neither,” she mumbled.
You fingered Peter’s shirt. You were still wearing it, just with some jeans, and Nat observed the movement.
“How long?” she quietly asked.
She didn’t need to elaborate. You knew what she was asking.
“Since…” you shrugged, releasing a heavy breath. “...practically since forever.”
“Does he know?”
You sadly shook your head. She pursed her lips, red hair framing her face as she studied you.
“We’re going to find him, and when we do, you can tell him. Okay?”
You nodded.
“Okay,” you quietly replied.
Nat didn’t stay for long, and you guessed that she needed to get back to the team to plan the best course of action. You barely left your room for the rest of the day, not having much of an appetite nor energy for anything. It was late in the evening when you found yourself making your way to Peter’s room. You lost count of how many times you slept in here, but Peter was usually with you, and if not, he at least showed up at some point. You liked waking up to the sound of his soft snores.
It felt weird with him gone, even weirder when you accounted for the fact that you didn’t know when he’d be back. If he’d be back. Your face almost crumbled at the thought, and you laid down, grabbing one of his pillows and hugging it to your chest, unable to stop the tears that spilled over, no matter how much you tried.
You slept in his room for days, and for days there was still no sign of him. The team was beyond worried now. You knew it, no matter how much they tried to portray otherwise. They were getting restless and scared. You couldn’t exactly say that you were any different though.
Sleep was hard to find, and even when you did, you found yourself tossing and turning throughout the night. Every time you woke up, you kept hoping that he’d be there, that you’d hear his voice. You were met with a dark empty room each time though, and it always broke your heart. After Peter had been missing for 8 days, Wanda finally came to you.
“I think you should go home,” she told you.
You were sitting cross legged on Peter’s bed, and she sat before you, hands in her lap with her feet on the floor. You frowned at her, wondering if you had overstayed your welcome, but she continued.
“It’s not that we don’t want you here, because you know we love having you around, but… You do not look good, Y/N.”
You squirmed under her concerned stare, clearing your throat.
“I’m fine,” you quietly argued.
“You’re not, and that’s okay. You just...you look exhausted and worried, and you’ve lost weight. A considerable amount in such a short time. What would Peter think if he came back right now and saw that you weren’t properly taking care of yourself?” she wondered.
Guilt flooded you, and you reluctantly nodded.
“I know that being here brings you some comfort, but I don’t think it’s worth the toll it’s taking on you.”
Your shoulders sagged, and you reluctantly admitted that she was right. You wanted to be near Peter in any way you could, but constantly waiting and listening out for any news was stressing you out.
“Go home. Sleep in your own bed. Get some rest. You can always come back,” she said.
“Okay.”
So, you did. You took a shower as soon as you made it back to your apartment, finding another one of Peter’s shirts he’d left. You forced yourself to at least eat something of substance, and when you had all you could take, you made a cup of tea. You had tried to watch tv, but funnily enough, the news was reporting on a crime that Spider-Man’s had helped solve months ago. Unable to stomach it, you turned the tv off and opted for bed.
Strangely enough, you were able to sleep better in your own bed. It happened quickly, and you didn’t toss or turn much. The first time you floated back to consciousness, it must have been around 3 in the morning. It was the longest you’d slept in days, and you knew that you’d be drifting back soon. However, you faintly noted that goosebumps had erupted over your skin, like you were cold.
Considering it was cold outside, you kept your heater blasting.
You blinked, staring at your window. It was closed, but the curtains were parted, and you could see that it was snowing outside. For the first time in days, a small smile tugged at your lips, and with a sigh, you rolled over. A dark figure was standing beside your bed, and the scream that you let out echoed through the apartment, filled with terror.
You fought back against them as they reached for you, struggling to get away and move further back on the bed. Their hands were cool, like they’d been outside for a while with no gloves. You were sitting up, pushing against them when they reached over and flicked on your lamp. When light flooded the room, your eyes widened.
Peter stood before you, dressed casually in dark clothes and looking completely unharmed. You sharply inhaled, all of your breath leaving you as your lips parted, eyes welling with tears. You blinked a few times, feeling like you might have been dreaming, but Peter remained. You reached out to him with shaking hands, and your vision had started to blur.
“Hey, breathe. Breathe, Y/N,” he softly ordered, brows furrowed.
You did as he said, and your chest burned as you moved closer. You slid off of the bed, moving to stand up, but your legs were unsteady. Peter caught you just as you fell into his arms, wrapping your own around him. You buried your face into his chest, your tears wetting his shirt, and he enveloped you in his arms as he shushed you.
You were shaking so much, and you just couldn’t stop. You couldn’t believe that he was here, and he looked perfectly fine. You sobbed into his chest, and you felt him tighten his arms around you. You clung to him, maneuvering to bury your face into the crook of his neck, feeling guilty about his shirt. You could feel him do the same, his nose brushing against your skin, and he took a long inhale, breathing you in.
“You’re okay,” you blubbered.
“Yeah...yeah, I’m okay,” he whispered.
You pulled away from him, roaming your eyes over him before meeting his own eyes.
“Where...where have you been? Everyone is looking for you,” you softly told him.
“I know,” he replied, looking sheepish.
“We have to call Tony,” you said, reaching for your phone.
Peter stopped you before you could, his hand tight on your wrist, and you found yourself wincing at his harsh grip. You looked at him with a frown, heart skipping a beat at his sudden dark countenance. He swallowed, and your eyes were briefly drawn to the subtle movement in his throat before he eventually let you go.
“I can’t...I can’t go back,” he told you, shaking his head.
Your eyes widened at him, and confusion filled you. What?
“What are...what are you talking about? Everyone is worried sick, more worried than I’ve ever seen them. Peter, they have no idea where you are or if you’re even okay! We should at least tell them-.”
You swallowed the rest of your words as you noticed that he made to leave.
“I shouldn’t be here. I shouldn’t have come here-.”
“Wait, wait!”
You grabbed onto the back of his shirt. You weren’t any match for him, but you were thankful that he halted. You wrapped your arms around him from behind, your lips brushing his shoulder as you spoke.
“Stay. Please stay,” you whispered.
His shoulders heaved as he sighed, and you continued.
“I’m sorry, okay? We don’t...we don’t have to tell them anything. If you don’t want to go back that’s fine, but… I’ve been so worried.”
That last part was said so softly, it was a wonder he even heard you. He didn’t say anything, nor did he move for a while, but eventually he turned around, and you let your arms fall. When your eyes met his again, you watched the way they narrowed, forehead creasing just a bit. You didn’t understand why until he reached up to press his fingers to the skin beneath your eyes. You could see the disapproval in his eyes, and all you could offer was a shrug.
“I was so worried.”
Peter blinked, face falling before he pulled you into his arms again. You returned the hug and let your eyes fall closed, just basking in the feel of him. You could hear his heartbeat, so slow...and so faint, something that seemed impossible. You told yourself you were imagining it.
“You’ll stay, right?”
He threw you a small smile when you pulled back to look at him, and you watched the way his dark eyes ran over you, lingering on your neck a tad longer than the rest of you before his eyes met yours again.
“Yeah, I’ll stay.”
You smiled at him, pulling him towards your bed. You settled in, only just realizing how cold you had gotten, while Peter got in behind you. Your head hit the pillow just as he turned the light out, and you frowned when you noticed that he wasn’t completely laying down. He was on his side, facing you with his head propped up onto his hand.
“You’re not tired?”
His eyes trailed to your window, staring out into the night for a moment before he shook his head.
“No...not really.”
You chuckled.
“So you’re just going to watch me sleep?” you wondered.
He reached towards you with his other hand, brushing his fingers along your neck and collarbone, fingers cool against your warm skin. A shudder passed through you.
“I missed you,” was his only answer, and it made your heart soar.
You knew that he didn’t miss you like you missed him, but it made you happy to hear that nonetheless.
“I missed you too.”
He didn’t respond, and you closed your eyes, the feel of his fingers on your skin oddly soothing. He always made you nervous, but not tonight. You wondered if it was because you had gone without him for so long, unsure if he would ever return. Sleep was just within your reach, but something weighed on your mind that prevented you from grabbing hold of it.
“Why don’t you want to go back?”
Your voice was small in the otherwise quiet room, and when Peter didn’t answer right away, you peeled your eyes open. He had stopped touching you, fingers curling into the covers as his jaw clenched.
“They won’t want me back.”
You frowned, forcing yourself to sit up. You blinked at him a few times, lips parting as you processed what that meant. Why wouldn’t they want him back? Peter was part of the team, one of the most loved members of the team. Said team was practically sick with worry, had been for over a week. Despite the fact that Peter was right in front of you and seemingly safe and sound, worry began to take hold again.
“Why wouldn’t they want you back?”
Your best friend didn’t answer you, and your worry grew, heartbeat picking up. Peter’s eyes were on you now as he sat up too, so focused and intense.
“What happened on your mission, Peter? What happened in Bulgaria?”
Again, Peter didn’t respond, but the minute you moved closer to him, he snatched your arm. Startled, you almost fell over, but his fingers curled around your wrist and pulled you closer, guiding the palm of your hand right to his chest.
Where his heart was.
Again, like before, you noted that his heartbeat was so slow. And even fainter. It was almost nonexistent, and your brows crinkled. You had felt and heard his heartbeat many times before since he’d become Spider-Man, and you knew that this was no effect of the spider bite. You had a hard time wrapping your mind around what you were feeling, and you looked at him again.
“I have...I have to tell you something…”
You fought to keep your worry at bay, noting the way Peter’s voice shook.
“I may even have to show you...but you have to promise me…”
His hand tightened on your wrist, and he released a shaky breath.
“...promise me that you won’t be scared.”
Scared of Peter? He was your best friend, and you couldn’t ever imagine being afraid of him. Still, you felt like he needed this so you nodded.
“Okay.”
Tumblr media
Peter’s side of the bed was empty when you woke up, and your heart lurched in a mild panic before you realized why. The sun shone through your window, bathing your room in the warm rays, and you swallowed as you wondered where he could’ve gone.
“I’m right here.”
You snapped your head up to find him standing in the hall, just outside of your doorway. He was out of the sun’s reach, and you slid out of bed to join him. He was watching you like he couldn’t anticipate your next move, and you sent him a smile to reassure him.
“Do you...need anything…?”
You didn’t come right out and say it, but you both knew what you were asking. He studied you for a moment before shaking his head.
“No. I...ate before I came here last night,” he told you.
You nodded and folded your arms over your chest with a long sigh. You could feel his eyes on you as you looked away.
“Look, Peter...I know you're not going to like what I have to say, but…”
You chanced a glance at him and found his dark eyes narrowed at you.
“I think you need to tell Tony.”
He briefly closed his eyes before letting them fall to the ground, hands shoved in his pockets.
“If anyone can help you, he can.”
Peter scoffed, a humorless sound.
“Help me with what? It’s not like he can fix this, Y/N. This goes past Tony Stark and all of his intellect,” he practically spat, frustration coloring his tone. “This is what I am now.”
You grabbed his hands, squeezing them as you moved closer.
“I know, I know. I just meant...maybe he can help you safely get what you need.”
His eyes met yours, albeit reluctantly.
“...and maybe he can help you control your appetite better. That way...that way you won’t hurt anyone else,” you quietly finished, recalling everything he’d told you.
Guilt passed through Peter’s features at the reminder of what he’d done. He closed his eyes, practically squeezing them shut as his shoulders heaved, a small sigh escaping him.
“Maybe...you’re right,” he hesitantly admitted.
You could see the war going on within him when he opened his eyes, conflict and guilt and self-loathing all passing over his face.
“Hey.”
He looked at you.
“You’re still you. You just...your diet’s a little different now, that’s all.”
He cracked a smile, a small chuckle leaving him, and you joined him.
“When the sun goes down, we’ll go to the compound, and...and everything will be okay,” you promised him.
He nodded, and hours later, when the sun was safely behind the horizon, that was what you did. You drove. Peter was still wary of his new strength, strength that far surpassed what he had before. Your wrist was still sore from when he’d grabbed you last night, but you didn’t want him to feel any worse than he already did.
Having called Tony on the way, he was waiting outside when you arrived. As per requested, he was the only one. You didn’t want Peter to get overwhelmed. You weren’t exactly sure of what he was capable of now, neither one of you really were, and you didn’t want to stress him out.
Tony had pulled him into a hug the minute he reached him, and your heart clenched for many reasons. You hoped that you’d made the right decision. Tony loved Peter. He’d help him, right? When he pulled away, the bearded man’s eyes flickered between the two of you with a frown.
“So you’re going to tell me what the hell this is all about?”
Before you could respond, Peter moved to pull him inside.
“It’s a long story, Mr. Stark…”
His voice trailed off as they went inside, and with a small sigh, you eventually followed. Neither one of them were present, and you figured that they went to the lab. You had a feeling that everyone else was there too, or at least not far off. They’d been worried sick and now Peter was back, seemingly unharmed. Of course they’d be concerned and curious.
Wanda was the only one who greeted you, and her eyes were wide as they met yours. They were a bit accusatory, even fearful, and you pursed your lips. She probably didn’t mean to, but it was easy to guess that she’d been inside of Peter’s head. She knew, and there was no telling what she saw.
“Y/N…?”
You shook your head.
“He’s still him, Wanda. Okay? Everything is going to be fine.”
She didn’t look convinced, but she didn’t argue as you moved past her to go to your room. You didn’t see anyone else the rest of the night, and you knew that they were all caught up with Peter. Figuring out how this happened, running tests, coming up with the best course of action. You were in and out of sleep when you heard Peter come into your room in the early hours of the morning.
He wrapped his arms around you as he slid in behind you, and even though he wasn’t as warm as he used to be, the familiarity of it all immediately relaxed you. You felt him bury his nose in your hair, taking a deep breath as he breathed you in, fingers brushing over the skin of your arms.
“Everything okay?” you mumbled, referring to Tony and the rest of the team.
“Yeah,” he whispered. “He wants me to drink pig’s blood, but yeah. Everything’s okay.”
You chuckled at that, sleep finding you once more as you smiled at Peter’s joke. However, it was the next day when you discovered that he hadn’t been joking at all.
“You’re serious?”
Peter nodded with a frown, arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the counter.
“He wants to start weaning me off of human blood and start transitioning to animal blood,” he grumbled.
You noted that he wasn’t happy about that, and your curiosity got the better of you.
“Is that bad?”
“Not necessarily, no,” he sighed. “He thinks it’ll help me. That maybe I’ll...crave human blood less and it’ll lower my chances of losing control around someone.”
You blinked, wondering if you agreed with that.
“I mean, he doesn’t exactly know. This is all just trial and error, right now, because probably for the first time in Mr. Stark’s life, he’s stumped,” Peter said with a shrug. “...but it’s worth a shot.”
You felt like there was more to it, like he wanted to say something else.
“He doesn’t know that I already tried that,” he whispered.
You leaned against the opposite counter, watching as his frown deepened, eyes troubled.
“When I woke up...I felt like I had swallowed fire,” he murmured. “My teeth hurt, my throat burned, and my mind was going a mile a minute. I felt like I was losing it.”
He sounded angry as he glared at the floor.
“The only thing that even smelled slightly appealing was…”
He trailed off, shaking his head, a light chuckle leaving him.
“I must have killed at least 100 animals. Anything I could get my hands on… It was like an itch I couldn’t scratch, only 1,000 times worse. It wasn’t until...it wasn’t until I came across those hikers…”
He swallowed his words, letting his face fall into his hands. You neared him, resting your hand on his arm.
“It was the first time I’d felt okay in days. I could finally freaking think,” he said through clenched teeth, letting his hands fall. “There I was...covered in blood...surrounded by bodies of innocent people...and I was finally at peace.”
You pulled him into a hug as he recounted what he’d already told you. You knew that Peter wouldn’t ever forget that moment, but God, you wanted him to. That wasn’t who he was, you knew it, and you wanted him to know it too. He pressed his face into the crook of your neck, nose brushing over the skin, and his hands rested on your waist.
Your conversation with Nat weighed on your heart. Like she’d said, Peter was back, and you could finally tell him, but it didn’t seem appropriate. The man had been attacked and turned into something you thought only existed in books. This was a hard time for him, and it seemed silly to drop one more thing onto him, one more thing that could definitely wait.
“I wouldn’t get too close to him if I were you, Y/N. He might mistake you for a quarter pounder.”
You pulled away just as Bucky’s deep chuckle reached your ears, and you turned to see both him and Sam enter the kitchen. Sam seemed pleased with his little joke.
“You’re not funny,” you told him, completely unamused.
“It’s a little funny,” Bucky disagreed, and you huffed.
You felt Peter pull away, and by the time you looked over your shoulder, he was gone.
“Seriously?”
You threw them an incredulous look, and Sam shrugged.
“Look, we’ve got to find some humor in this okay? The kid’s got fangs and he lives off of blood now,” Sam said like it was the most absurd thing in the world.
Considering that you all were friends with literal Gods and even a woman who controlled the weather, you were inclined to disagree.
“This is hard for him, okay?”
You weren’t sure if they knew the full extent of what he’d done, but you heard Sam sigh, and Bucky at least looked a little sheepish.
“I’m sure he’ll joke about it when he’s ready, but please let him do it in his own time. His whole life has changed...again.”
“Yeah, well, welcome to the club,” Bucky sighed.
You rolled your eyes and turned away with a scoff.
“What’d I say?” you heard Bucky ask, but you were already making your way to Peter’s room.
You were surprised that he told you to come in when you knocked, and you slowly stepped inside. He was on his bed, hand behind his head as he scrolled through his phone.
“You okay?”
He let his hand fall, greeting you with a smile.
“Yeah, I’m good. They don’t mean any harm, so I’m not going to let it get to me,” he replied, reaching for you.
You joined him on the bed, laying your head on his shoulder as he told F.R.I.D.A.Y to turn on the tv.
“Want to watch a movie with me? As silly as it seems, all I could think about was curling up with you and watching a movie the whole time I was away,” he confessed.
Your heart fluttered, sure he could hear it, but he didn’t comment on it. His arm slid around your waist, pulling you closer, and you nodded.
“Yeah, I’d love to.”
His hand tightened on your hip as you figured out what movie to put on.

Every day, Peter went to the lab with Tony and Bruce, and every time he returned, he always seemed irritated. You tried not to comment on the harshness of his eyes and tautness of his jaw, but eventually, you had to express your concern.
“It’s nothing,” he told you one day. “They just keep treating me like some science experiment gone wrong.”
He played it off like no big deal, but you could tell that he was genuinely bothered.
“...and its this stupid diet or whatever you can even call it! It’s not working. It’s not satisfying or fulfilling, at all. I can’t taste a damn thing, I’m just drinking to get full? If that’s what you can even call it. It does absolutely nothing to satisfy me or quell this desire…”
He trailed off at your light chuckle.
“Alright, Edward Cullen.”
He threw you a hard look, and you swallowed your laughs. While he was finally making jokes about the situation himself now, you realized that now was not the time.
“Sorry…”
He heaved a long sigh, turning to stare out of the window.
“You wanna get out of here?” he suddenly asked.
You blinked at him.
“Now?”
He glanced at the clock, and so did you. It was almost 2 in the morning.
“I can’t think of a better time,” he replied.
You chewed on your lip.
“Where?”
“Anywhere,” he shrugged. “Just for a little bit…”
He hadn’t left the compound in weeks, Tony far too paranoid, and you could see how much he needed this.
“Okay.”
That was how 40 minutes later, you found your car parked near a small pond while you and Peter leaned against it, staring at the full moon. Neither one of you had said anything since you left, and you guessed that Peter was in his thoughts. You couldn’t blame him.
“You know, if I’d been bitten by a werewolf, we’d be having a totally different night, right now.”
You barked a laugh, and he joined you.
“If you were bitten by a werewolf, I’d be trying to play fetch with you,” you replied.
He chuckled again, and the two of you fell into another easy silence. Your eyes narrowed a bit as something weighed on your mind, and you suddenly crossed your arms over your chest.
“Why won’t Tony let you have any human blood? I mean, blood banks exist…”
Peter sighed, a frustrated sound, and you turned to look at him. The cool nightly breeze blew his dark hair around his face, and his jaw clenched.
“He thinks it’ll make me crave it more. Kind of like an addict, you know?”
You shook your head, disagreeing with that.
“...but...it’s not. This is part of your DNA, now, is it not? He shouldn’t be looking at it like a drug but instead like...food. It’s what you need to survive, now,” you explained.
“You’re right...but that’s blood I’d be taking away from people who need it. Besides, it’d be pretty messed up of me to…‘convince’ some stranger to let me drink from them and then alter their memory of the whole thing,” he mumbled.
“That’s right. You did tell me you can do that, now,” you mused.
“I’m pretty sure it’ll come in handy during missions. You know, if I ever go on one again,” he complained.
Your heart hurt for Peter. His entire life had been turned on its head again. He couldn’t go on missions, couldn’t even see his aunt, and on top of it all, he couldn’t even satisfy the craving his body had for what it actually needed. You pursed your lips and glanced at him again. You were positive he noticed before, but this time he commented on it.
“What?”
You glanced away from him, heart speeding up a bit as you wrung your hands together.
“What about me?”
He didn’t respond right away, and when you looked at him again, his eyes were on you. They were narrowed, hard, but you could see the spark of something in them that gave you hope that maybe this wasn’t such a horrible idea after all. Peter’s lips parted, his sharp teeth glinting in the moonlight before he snapped his mouth shut. He cleared his throat.
“You...you would do that?”
“Of course,” you said with a frown, turning your body completely to face him. “This is what you need, and you’re my best friend, and I’m willing. So you don’t have to let your morals get in the way.”
Peter stared at you for what seemed like a long time, eyes roaming over every inch of you. You watched as he swallowed, the conflict written all over his face. You could see that he was scared, afraid that he’d hurt you, but you could also see the fire in his eyes, the desire to take you up on your offer.
“Worst case scenario-.”
“You die?”
You rolled your eyes at him, stepping closer.
“You won’t let me die, Peter. We both know it,” you whispered, pushing your sleeve up and holding your arm out.
Peter’s dark eyes snapped to the bared skin, no doubt tracing the veins that you couldn’t see. Hesitantly, he grabbed your wrist, taking a deep breath before slowly lifting your arm as he bent his head. His breath, like everything else about him now, was cool against your skin. You watched as he closed his eyes, dark lashes contrasting against his fair skin, before opening his mouth. You barely got a glimpse of his sharp canines in all of their glory before they were sinking into your arm.
The reaction from you both was instantaneous.
A loud gasp escaped you, but not from pain. No. Your body heated up like never before, blood on fire as Peter let out an equally loud groan. An addicting sense of euphoria descended over you, and you felt your legs shaking, lashes fluttering as you struggled to keep your eyes open. Sensing this, Peter reached out with his free hand and tangled it within your hair, pulling you closer until your head leaned against his shoulder.
You could feel him moving forward, and he didn’t stop until your back was against your car. His hand tightened in your hair, almost painfully, but all you let out was a moan, your breath choppy and lips trembling as he pressed his leg in between yours. Your free hand clutched his jacket, attempting to pull him closer, and a low moan escaped his own throat as he pushed his thigh more firmly against your now heated core.
You faintly noted that this was a lot more erotic than you anticipated, but you couldn’t find it in yourself to care. He was still pressing your head to his shoulder, and your lips brushed the fabric of his jacket as you murmured his name.
“Peter...Peter…”
You couldn’t tell if you were asking him to stop or not, but considering this was the best high you’d ever been on, you concluded that you were not. Suddenly, all too soon, Peter practically ripped himself away from you, and you would’ve fallen to the ground if he hadn’t caught you. Your chest was heaving, so was his, and when you peeled your eyes open, his own wide ones were focused on you.
“Shit,” he cursed, looking like he was seconds away from getting in trouble. “Shit, shit, shit. I shouldn’t have done that. Mr. Stark is going to kill me…”
“Hey...it’s okay,” you panted, weakly reaching up to brush a dark strand out of his face. “I’m okay. How do you feel?”
He seemed stumped by the question, and he suddenly blinked, brows drawn together as he stared down at you. His lips were stained with your blood.
“I...haven’t felt this satisfied in weeks,” he whispered, looking at you strangely.
You weakly chuckled, eyes fluttering closed.
“Good.”
You had only been seconds away from falling when he caught you, and he finally straightened as he lifted you into his arms. You could feel yourself on the verge of sleep...or was it the verge of death? Either way, you were happy that Peter was happy. He gently deposited you into the passenger’s seat, strapping you into place. Your head lolled as he shut the door, facing him as he settled behind the wheel.
You could feel his eyes on you, and with difficulty, you opened yours again. He was staring at you with that look again, and you were sure he thought you crazy for putting your life in danger like that. The car was quiet, just the sound of your shallow breathing could be heard, and you thought to yourself that you kind of wanted to tell him you loved him. However, before you could, Peter leaned over and pressed his blood-stained lips to yours.
It was quick and soft, just the barest of touches, but it made your eyes widen nonetheless. You stared at him as he sat back and started the car, and you wanted to keep staring at him, wanted to ask him what the hell was that, but sleep finally got to you before you could.
Tumblr media
It was days before you finally discussed what had happened, and that was only because it was days before Peter needed to “feed” again.
“I think I can go longer without when it’s human blood...because it’s what actually satisfies me. What my body needs,” he murmured one night while you were watching a movie you’d both seen a million times.
“That’s a good thing. Surely Tony will see that this is the best thing to do. This is what will keep you in control and allow you to go on missions again...see your aunt May…”
You had decided to keep what happened between the two of you, but you didn’t exactly feel right about it. Peter sighed and shook his head.
“No. I think he’d send me away,” he quietly told you.
You quickly moved your head to look up at him, your cheek on his chest as you stared at him with wide eyes.
“What are you talking about?”
“He’s been doing research, trying to find others like me. I think he has. I overheard him talking to the captain and Sam one day. He’s thinking about sending me somewhere I can learn to control my thirst and utilize my new…abilities or whatever,” he grumbled.
You fully sat up now, looking down at him with a stricken expression. His eyes finally moved away from the screen, and he smiled at you, rubbing your back in a soothing manner.
“I’m not going to let him send me away, Y/N, but he’ll definitely try if we tell him what happened.”
You nodded, forcing your heart to slow before you laid back down. Peter’s hand was still on your back, tracing patterns into your, well, his shirt. You listened to his slow heartbeat, the organ pumping what was left of your blood through his body. Your lashes fluttered when he dragged his fingers up to your neck, the appendages playing with the hair there. You found yourself humming when he tightened his hold there, and you looked up in confusion, prepared to ask him what he was doing when his other hand gripped your arm, and he pulled you up.
His lips met yours in a kiss that was nothing like the first one. You gasped against his mouth, and he wasted no time before taking the opportunity to taste the inside of yours. Peter moaned into the kiss, circling both arms around you now as he rolled the both of you over. He settled himself between your parted legs, and you sharply inhaled at the bulge you felt there.
Peter’s hand traveled to your neck again, grasping the hair at the nape, holding you in place as he dragged his mouth down. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as he bit you, throwing your hands out to grasp anything you could. Your right hand hit the lamp on the nightstand, and it fell to the floor with a soft crash. Peter’s other hand pressed into your back, forcing you to arch your chest into his.
His hips were rolling into yours, his clothed member pressing against the most sensitive part of you so deliciously. You let out a soft moan, one hand clawing at his shirt, pushing the fabric up to drag your nails along his back. Peter had you completely pinned in between him and the mattress, every curve of his hips sending pleasure through you.
“Peter,” you moaned, reaching up to drag your hand along the headboard. “Fuck, Peter.”
You could feel your blood crawling past your neck, staining his sheets, but he didn’t seem to care. The bed shook a bit from his movements, and you hooked one leg on his waist as he continued to grind into you. You could feel yourself fading, and you welcomed it, and before you could, one particularly slow roll of his hips sent you over the edge.
You were a moaning mess as you came beneath him, his teeth still embedded in your neck. Your whole body shook, legs practically vibrating as they fell around him, chest heaving as he finally pulled away. He licked at your neck, and your arms fell to the bed, soft murmurs leaving your lips to which Peter chuckled at. He brushed his thumb over your lip before leaning back down, lips grazing your ear.
“Go to sleep,” he whispered. “I’ll be here when you wake up.”
You did, he was, and he greeted you with a kiss, further filling you with confusion as you wondered just what you were. You didn’t want to ruin it, didn’t want to break the spell by trying to make him define this. You simply wanted to enjoy whatever this was, and enjoy it you did.
Every few days or so, you found yourself squirming beneath Peter one way or another. Sometimes he simply pressed kisses along your neck as he rolled his hips into yours, sometimes his teeth were in you, and sometimes his fingers were in you, the sound of it so loud as he thrust them in and out of your fluttering core. The rest of the team was none the wiser as you both satisfied each other in more ways than one. It was usually in the dead of night when everyone else was asleep, and Peter was wide awake.
“Ngh, Peter,” you panted, fingers twisted into his dark locks.
You were completely naked before him, a first, as he swiped his tongue over your wet folds, another first. His own fingers were pressed into your thighs, holding them down in a way that hurt so good. The cool air hit the bite mark on the inside of your left thigh, and you hissed as Peter slid his tongue past your slick walls, tasting every inch of you that he could.
A thin layer of sweat covered your frame, and you realized that you lost track of how long Peter had been alternating between tasting your blood and tasting your lips. His mouth completely covered you, and you shuddered when he sucked on your little bundle of nerves, sharp teeth grazing your sensitive skin.
You could feel your...3rd? 4th? Or was it the 5th climax of the night that you felt approaching? You were so tired, but Peter didn’t seem to have gotten his fill of you, and his lips kissed along your mound before traveling to the space in the crease of your thigh before he swiped his tongue over your thigh itself, the unmarked one. It was dark in the room, and when Peter glanced up at you, dark promises in his eyes, you noted that they almost seemed to glow in the dark, like that of a feline.
He wasted no time before sinking his teeth into your skin again, and you pressed your hand to your mouth to keep from making too much noise. You knew that he’d ordered F.R.I.D.A.Y to soundproof the room, but it was a force of habit by now. Your climax crashed over you like a tidal wave, and that was how you fell asleep that night, with Peter’s face in between your legs, drinking from you in any way he saw fit.

“Look who decided to grace us with her presence,” Bucky sarcastically greeted as you walked into the kitchen the next morning.
Steve threw you a sheepish smile, visibly sorry on Bucky’s behalf for his behavior.
“Cut it out, Buck.”
“I’m just acknowledging that the princess has been holed up in her room more often than not as of late. If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve thought you went home, but I noticed that you’re still eating my cereal, the only other person who eats the kind I like, so…”
You rolled your eyes as he trailed off, and he reached out to pull on your shirt as you neared.
“What’s with the turtleneck, squirt? I know it’s freezing outside, but in case you haven’t noticed, it’s 77 degrees in here.”
You tensed at his words, and you ignored the way Steve eyed you over his mug.
“I just think I’m coming down with something is all. I’m a little chillier than usual today,” you lied.
He simply hummed, and that was when you finally noticed his attire. Steve too.
“Are you guys going on a mission?”
“You’d know the answer to that if you actually left your room once in a while,” Bucky grumbled, and Steve lightly shoved his shoulder.
“Yeah, the whole team’s heading out. Well...except…” Steve trailed off, and you nodded. “...but Nat and Sam are supposed to be returning from their assignment today, so they’ll be back later.”
You nodded at Steve’s words, not quite liking the way that he was studying you. You hurriedly poured your own cup of coffee, quietly telling them to “be safe” before moving to get out of Steve’s watchful eye.
Hours later found you and Peter on the couch, hardly paying any attention to the movie before you. You had the compound to yourselves, something you looked forward to, but Peter had other ideas than that of what you were thinking.
“You want to...leave?”
You frowned at him, unsure that you heard him right. Peter was facing you with his elbow on the back of the couch, propping his head up as his other hand traced your collarbone.
“Yeah,” he whispered. “Mr. Stark...I think he’s getting serious about sending me away for a while. I think he suspects us, but I’m not sure.”
You mulled over his suggestion, unsure of how you felt about it.
“They couldn’t even find me last time. I’d make sure they’d never find us,” he told you.
“I...I don’t know. I mean, I love you, but I’d miss everyone else,” you replied.
When you looked to him, he looked surprised, and his lips parted as he blinked at you.
“...what?”
Your brows drew together.
“What?”
He scooted closer, a slow grin forming on his pink lips.
“You love me?”
You scoffed at him.
“Of course. Peter, I’ve been in love with you for as long as I can remember,” you finally confessed.
You thought that it would’ve been obvious by now, but Peter just looked as if you told him he’d won a million dollars. Before you could register it, he reached out to pull you into a kiss. It was passionate and full of yearning...and hungry. You wrapped your arms around his neck and moved closer, Peter’s hand pressing into the small of your back. His lips trailed from your own down to your jaw, pressing kisses there and to your neck. You’d changed shirts as soon as everyone had left.
You knew what he wanted, what he needed, and you welcomed it as he pressed his teeth into your skin. A breathy moan climbed out of your throat as he laid you down. Your heart was going haywire in your chest, the realization that Peter returned your feelings finally hitting you. His hands ran over you, brushing over your breasts and down your sides before he hooked them underneath your thighs.
He pressed his bloody lips to your décolletage, nipping at the skin there before they grazed the swell of your breasts. He bit into the flesh that spilled over the top of your shirt, and you trembled beneath him, a loud moan escaping you. He growled into your skin, fingers pressing into your thighs almost painfully. You weren’t sure how long you remained beneath him, lashes fluttering and lips parted as ecstasy clouded your mind, but eventually, you felt yourself fading in a way you had never felt before.
Your vision blurred, and you could feel your heart starting to slow.
“Peter,” you worriedly murmured.
He seemed preoccupied with releasing himself from his jeans, fingers brushing over you as he reached underneath your skirt. You opened your mouth to protest, but all that came out was a choked sound, the sound transforming into a breathy gasp when he thrust into you.
“Peter,” you weakly called.
You could feel yourself fading fast, and Peter’s own breath was harsh as he drank from you, snapping his hips into yours with every thrust. You could faintly hear a door opening, and you wanted to warn him, but you could hardly move, let alone speak. Darkness creeped along the edge of your vision, and the last thing you heard before going under was a feminine scream.

You knew that you were in the infirmary before you even opened your eyes. The steady beep of the monitor next to you told you that whatever condition you had been in was pretty serious. You struggled to open them, but when your eyes finally peeled open, you noticed that the room was empty.
“Ms. Y/L/N, you’re awake,” F.R.I.D.A.Y noted. “I will inform Mr. Stark immediately.”
You cringed, squeezing your eyes shut at the mention of the last superhero you wanted to see. You just knew that you were going to get an earful, and you didn’t really care to hear it. You just wanted to know where Peter was and if he was okay.
Tony burst through the doors a lot sooner than you would have liked, and you avoided his eye. He didn’t say anything, and you knew that he was angry, because when did Tony Stark ever have absolutely nothing to say?
“Are you insane?” he finally wondered, and you sighed.
“Where’s Peter?”
“That doesn’t matter right now,” he snapped, and you finally looked at him as he stomped towards your bed. “You could’ve died.”
You shrank underneath his cold stare and harsh words, glancing away.
“Do you get that, Y/N? When Nat and Sam got here…”
He trailed off, face reddening as he was no doubt recalling what he’d been told, probably what he’d even seen thanks to F.R.I.D.A.Y. You watched as he swallowed, releasing a breath.
“Any later, and you would’ve been dead,” he whispered.
“I’m sorry,” you quietly told him. “I just wanted to help him.”
He heaved a long sigh, a tired and exasperated sound.
“I know you love him…”
You frowned at that, wondering if the whole damn team knew.
“...but he needs help from people who can help him. Help him to control himself, hone his new skills, help him so that he doesn’t kill you,” Tony finished, and you blinked back tears. “Go home and let us handle Peter. When the time is right, he’ll be able to see you again.”
The tears finally spilled over, and with a shake of his head, Tony left you. After a few more days in the infirmary, and several blood transfusions later, you did as Tony instructed. It felt strange to be back home after spending nearly 2 months at the compound with Peter. As you entered your room, sitting on your bed, you felt silly.
Tony had been right. You had almost died. You recalled the feel of your life literally slipping away as Peter drank from you, too lost in the taste and feel of you to notice that he was losing control. You had only wanted to help him, and you had ended up making things worse. Was Tony right to treat it like an addiction? Had you hindered Peter more than you helped him? You didn’t know. All you knew was that your actions almost led to your death at Peter’s hand, and that Tony’s actions had not.
You didn’t know where Peter was, but you had faith that he was alright. You hoped that Tony didn’t give him too hard of a time for what he’d done, but you knew that was unlikely. Nat, poor Nat, had literally walked in on him feeding from you and fucking you. There was no telling what the poor woman thought, and you hated the idea of them treating Peter like some wild animal that needed to be caged.
It was 3 nights later when you woke up to the feel of fingers ghosting over the side of your face as you slept. It took you a moment to register what was happening, but when you blinked your eyes open, you were surprised to come face to face with Peter as he stood over you.
“P-Peter?”
You struggled to sit up, and you rubbed your eyes, noting the way his own dark ones lingered on your neck.
“What are you doing here?”
“We’re getting out of here. C’mon,” he said, reaching for you.
You frowned at him, and you watched his own face fall.
“I don’t...I don’t think that’s a good idea,” you honestly told him.
He frowned at you, and guilt tore through you for more reasons than one.
“Don’t listen to Mr. Stark-.”
“Maybe I should’ve. Maybe...maybe he knew what he was talking about,” you said, cutting him off.
His hand fell to his side, and his dark eyes narrowed on you.
“You’re afraid of me,” he murmured.
“No! No...not really-.”
He cut you off with an angry sigh, and you folded your arms over your chest.
“I almost died, Peter!”
You watched the conflict on his features, brows furrowing ever so slightly.
“...and you would’ve never forgiven yourself...and I feel like it’s my fault…”
Peter stood over you, dressed plainly but darkly, chocolate locks kissing his forehead as he stared at you. He didn’t look happy.
“So you’re taking his side,” he surmised.
“I just think you should hear him out,” you whispered. “We tried it our way...and look what happened.”
He didn’t say anything, and neither did you. You sat there, and he stood there, both of you just staring at each other. You watched the way Peter’s jaw clenched, and he suddenly reached out to tangle his fingers in your hair, pulling you into a kiss as he neared. You pressed your hands against his chest, but Peter forced his way onto your bed, knees pressed into the mattress on either side of you as he moved his mouth against yours.
“Mm, Peter,” you protested, turning your head away.
“They think I raped you, you know,” he quietly said, the loud sound of tearing fabric filling the room as he ripped your t-shirt straight down the middle.
Your eyes went wide at his words, and he chuckled, the corner of his lips quirking upwards into a smirk.
“Oh, yeah. They think I coerced you with my new abilities or even just flat out bit you and took you anyway I saw fit,” he whispered.
The irony of the situation was not lost on you, and you desperately fought against him. Your underwear was next, and you were no match against Peter’s newfound strength as he batted your hands away, moving to remove his own clothes.
“They don’t know that I had you squirming beneath me, purring and mewling like a desperate kitten.”
His voice was husky, thick with the desire to sink both his teeth and cock into you. He gripped your legs, separating them like it was nothing despite your efforts to keep them closed.
“They think that you’re bad for me…”
It was embarrassingly easy for him to slide into you, your velvet walls giving him a wet welcome. He sighed out as he pressed into you, dark eyes somehow darker.
“...they think I’ve formed some supernatural bond with you, some kind of blood tie…”
A choked moan slipped past your lips as he started to thrust into you, and Peter leaned down to press kisses to the corner of your mouth.
“...and they might be right, but it only cements what we both know.”
His hands pressed into the sheets beside your head, his labored breathing reaching your ears as he pulled back and snapped his hips into yours again and again. Your head was spinning from the way he dragged his cock through your clenching walls, completely unrelenting in his pace. While this technically wasn’t the first time he fucked you, it was the first time you were coherent enough to truly feel what was happening.
“Peter,” you murmured.
His nose brushed against yours with every thrust, and he released a shaky breath.
“...and what do we both know?”
There was a desperation in his eyes that took you by surprise, and your heart clenched.
“Say it...for me…”
You swallowed, lashes fluttering as he slowed down his thrusts.
“I’m yours.”
His own eyes fell closed at the admission, slowly sinking himself into you, basking in the feel of you wrapped around him.
“You gave me your blood...your body…”
He leaned down to trail kisses along your neck, rolling his hips against yours.
“...and you’ll give me your soul. You’re mine in every way a woman possibly can be. In every way a human can be,” he purred, sharp teeth grazing over your warm flesh.
His words made your stomach flutter, walls clenching around him, and just then, your phone buzzed. Like that first night, it was in your sheets somewhere, and the continuous buzzing told you that it was a phone call. You had a guess as to who it could be and what they wanted.
They were looking for Peter.
You looked to him when he paused, watching as his face darkened. He wrapped his hand around your noisy phone before throwing it at the wall, the device shattering upon impact. His dark eyes met yours again, and he kissed you, stealing your breath away as he moved within you again.
“They want to know if I’m with you...if you’re safe…”
You could feel him smiling against your lips, and your nails pressed into his sides, hanging on as he pushed his knees beneath your thighs, widening your legs and forcing a guttural moan from you.
“They think you’re in danger around me...and they’re probably right, but not the kind of danger they’re thinking of.”
One of his hands fisted itself into your hair, pulling your head back, baring your throat to him, and you knew what was coming.
“You don’t know how much I fought with myself that first night...how badly I wanted to tear into you anyway I could,” he whispered, voice strained. “You were all I thought about when I was attacked...when I changed…”
His hips sped up, the sound of slapping skin filling the room as he pistoned into you.
“For your sake, I’m glad you gave yourself to me, because I planned to take you from the very moment I stepped into your bedroom.”
His teeth pressed into your neck, breaking the skin, and your climax washed over you, euphoria clouding your mind and senses as Peter drank from you. His thrusts didn’t stop, and one hand pressed into the headboard above you, blood staining your pillow as the bed shook from the movement of his thrusts. You knew that Peter was far from done for the night, finally claiming what he felt was rightfully his.

Relations
Pairing: Bucky x Stark!reader
Warnings: angst, soft smut, fluff, fighting
Words: 2862
“Y/N? Where are you?” no response.
“Friday? Would you be so kind as to tell me where my little sister is running around?”
“Of course, boss. She is currently sitting in the garden, reading a book.”
“Thanks Friday.”
Tony headed out to talk to his sister.
“There you are. Please come inside. We have to talk.”
“Alright. I’m coming.” you smiled up at your big brother.
He was everything to you. Y/N had been born in 1990 and had not exactly been planned. A year later your parents had died and Tony was left alone with an infant. Fortunately he was wealthy enough to have nannies looking after you as long as he was still in college.
But the time you did spend together was thoroughly enjoyed. Everytime he was home he took you to the zoo, swimming or you just celebrated your lives.
All in all Tony Stark was the best brother anyone could have wanted.
Then he was kidnapped and became Iron Man. And Y/N was in the middle of it all. Tony tried to keep you away from it all but that didn’t work very well. You had begged him time and time again to make a suit for you too but he refused. Fortunately you were as technically talented as he was, copied Tony’s files for his suit, made some modifications and built it.
Yours was purple and silver instead of red and gold and it had some other nice gadgets which would probably prove useful.
When you took the first flying test outside the tower you didn’t really care that you were probably going to get caught.
And of course the moment you landed again Tony busted you.
“Y/N. What were you thinking? You could have gotten hurt.” he was worried.
“But I didn’t. You really have very little trust in my abilities. I flew didn’t I? And I used your plans and software. I even have Friday on my ears at all times.” you rolled your eyes at your brother.
“I can’t decide if I should be angry or proud.” he muttered. “I trust you and your skills but please let me ease my conscience and have a look over your work before you go flying again.” he asked.
“Alright, if that calms you down, sure.” you smiled and hugged your brother.
“So what is this about?” you asked him.
“I am throwing a party tonight to celebrate taking down the hydra base and recovering the scepter.” he beamed.
“And I am invited?”
“Of course. Wear something nice.” he instructed and left you alone in the entryway.
Y/N prepared half the afternoon for the spectacle and looked your best when evening rolled around. You hung at the bar with Natasha and Bruce, let Thor and Rhodey tell their war stories and sat around the table while everyone tried to lift Mjölnir and failed miserably.
Then suddenly a mangled Iron legion droid came walking through the door saying strange stuff and ending up attacking everyone. You were just so able to jump behind the bar and duck down. After that you promised yourself that you would never feel that helpless again. You wanted to be in the thick of it all.
When the dust settled everyone was really confused. The peacekeeping program Ultron had “killed” Jarvis and taken off into the world wide web.
“What did just happen?” Rhodey asked while Thor was on the way searching for Ultron.
After a battle with Ultron and the Maximoff twins, where everyone seemed to have lost their minds at one point or another and the Hulk destroying half a town while Tony tried to stop him, you made it out alive and had to disappear and landed with Clint’s family.
You stayed there for a while and then left for Seol to retrieve the crate with the human print inside.
In the end you had a new addition to the team and a devastating fight against machines in Sokovia.
Everyone was upset after that. Sokovia was destroyed, many civilians had died and Hulk was MIA. Thor left too to shine some light onto the appearances of the infinity stones.
You stayed at the newly built compound to start your official training with Vision, Wanda and Sam.
Some time later things escalated in Lagos with Rumlow and a biological weapon. After that everyone was suddenly afraid of Wanda although she was just as scared.
A day later you were walking through the hallways, passing some office and conference rooms on your way to the gym. You were lost in thought when you heard your brother's voice. At first you wanted to storm in and surprise him but then you heard him talking.
“She isn’t actually my sister, Steve. She’s my daughter. Y/N is my daughter. I’ve never told anyone before I couldn’t-” the rest was not heard by Y/N because you had dropped your towel and run towards your room.
The next few days you just couldn’t face your father. That was so strange to think. You never said it out loud. Y/N felt so betrayed. Why did he never tell you? Of course he had been relatively young when you were born but he still could have been honest with you. Did he not want to be seen as your father? Were you such a disappointment? And over all of that stood the question after your mother. Who was she? What happened to her? Why did she not want to meet you? All those thoughts rushed through your brain and you couldn’t stop the nagging feeling that Tony didn’t want to admit the truth to you because you weren’t worth it.
The bad thoughts did not leave you alone anymore. You had nightmares and isolated yourself from everyone during the days.
Although everyone was constantly asking you what was wrong, you couldn’t tell them.
Until the day Natasha and Pepper waltzed into your room, overriding Friday’s authority.
“Hey Y/N. We noticed that you have been by yourself a lot lately, not letting anyone in anymore. So tell us, what is going on with you? You know you can trust us.” Pepper added the last part after seeing you hesitating. And finally you caved in.
“I overheard Tony and Steve talk a few days ago. He said something I need time to process for.”
“What did he say that shocked you so much?” Nat asked.
“All my life I thought he was my brother. He’s been my rock. We went through thick and thin and then I find out that he lied to me all these years.”
“What do you mean he’s not your brother?” Nat pressed further.
“He told Steve that he’s actually my father.” the girls looked at you dumbfounded and it got eerie quiet.
“You sure you heard that right?”
“Of course I am sure. I’m not deaf!” you said a little enraged.
“And I gather you have not talked to him about it yet, have you?” Pepper had a calming nature especially when she put her hand on Y/N arm.
“No I haven’t. I couldn’t. What if it is somehow my fault that he didn’t tell me? What if he doesn’t consider me good enough to be his daughter?” you started to sob quietly.
“Hey, look at me Y/N. If anything it is the other way around. Under all that confident exterior he is actually very insecure and I am sure that he just didn’t want you to be disappointed to have him as a father.” Pepper ensured you.
“You really think so?” you sniffed looking up at her.
“I do. You should talk to him.” she encouraged you.
“Maybe I should tell him that I know and see how he reacts.”
But before you could go forward with your plan Friday alerted you and Nat to come to the conference room because the Secretary of defense had arrived to talk about something
The fights in Sokovia and Lagos had been PR nightmares and the government and the UN did not want to stand by anymore. The Avengers had to bow to the law and sign the Sokovia accords or they would be forced to retire. They were given a few days to think about it and talk this through.
After long discussions the team split in two. Which led to the situation at hand.
Your dad had grounded you together with Wanda after you had voiced your opinion that you thought Steve was right. Well, when Clint came to pick up Wanda you stuck to them and flew to Germany. Steve was kinda surprised when he saw you get out of the car at the airport but he thought you were old enough to make your own decisions.
Well, it ended in a really bad fight in the middle of the runway. In the end you made it out with Steve and Bucky and flew to Siberia under Steve's protest.
“So you’ve been Steve’s friend since childhood, hm?” you asked Bucky while still in the air.
“Yep. Known him forever. And you are Stark’s kid?” he asked back.
“So Steve told you. Yes it seems to be true although my whole life I thought he was my big brother. He lied to me so I’m not very happy with him at the moment. Kicking his ass has been a nice change for once.” you smiled at Bucky sadistically.
“You are a sick little thing, doll!” he laughed out loud.
You landed not much later but you had to admit the crush that had already developed towards Bucky.
And then Zemo happened and that stupid tape.
Were you the only one wondering why the hell there was a security camera in the middle of nowhere on an abandoned street exactly at that point where your grandparents car was forced to crash? And all that in the early 90’s?
Tony did not want to think rationally at that point so he started a fight against Steve and Bucky. You stood by. Too in shock to do anything. The only thing you knew was that it was not Bucky’s fault your grandparents had died but hydras.
You snapped out of your trance when Tony shot Bucky’s arm off. Then it was your moment to jump between your dad and Steve.
“Stop it, dad! Think for one moment!” he was startled for a moment because he wasn’t used to hearing you say that.
“You know?” he asked and his helmet slid back.
“Yes, I do. I overheard you and Steve the other day.” you spoke silently. “Sorry I did not talk about this with you earlier but I was just so upset about the fact that you didn’t tell me. Am I such a disappointment that you thought I wasn’t good enough to be your daughter?” you asked him with tears in your eyes.
“What? Of course not! You, Y/N, are the best thing that has ever happened to me. It was me who felt not man enough to be your dad. In the beginning when you suddenly appeared on my doorstep I panicked and thought I could have never lived up to the responsibility of a father. So I became your fun big brother to save you and me from disappointment. At some point I just felt that I had missed the point of telling you without the fear of consequences. So I stuck with the lie. I never meant to hurt you and I hope you can forgive me. I love you so much.”
That explanation was enough for you to jump into your fathers arms and hug him close.
“I love you 3000, dad. And can we now please get out of here? Bucky doesn’t deserve to die. Can you maybe see that he was controlled and hates himself as much for what Hydra made him do as you hate him? He is actually a really nice guy and like a brother to Steve and you know Steve, would he have bad friends? Also Buck needs help, physical and psychological. So please dad let us help him. He’s a war hero after all.” you finished your plaidoyer.
Your dad just stared at you but in the end took a deep breath and said: “let’s get home. I can’t do anything here.”
Outside you met King T’Challa who was holding Zemo in his grasp. He was gonna bring him to the CIA and then fly home to bury his father. He also promised to help with Bucky’s recovery because Wakanda had the most advanced technology to heal anything.
For months you stayed in Wakanda, which was pretty beautiful by the way, to maybe help Bucky recover step by step.
That’s also how you became close. You went for walks and to his therapy sessions together. The latter also because you thought you could use some talking about your life too.
At first he had wanted to go back into cryo but you had convinced him that that wasn’t necessary. In the beginning your dad had called you everyday to check in but he had stopped after a particularly annoyed outburst on your side.
“Bucky you alright?” you asked him one night after he had come home from his private session with Ayo.
When you saw his face you noticed the big tears leaking down his face.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” you asked scared this time.
Without saying a word he just walked up to you hugging you close to his chest and kissing you intently.
“You know how much I love you, right?” he whispered.
“Of course. but what happened with Ayo that has you this shaken?” you were persistent.
“I’m free, baby. She said all the trigger words and nothing happened. I’m free.” he repeated as if not believing it himself yet.
You started crying, too at that moment. You knew how much that meant to him, hell how much it meant to you. He had full control of his life back.
“I’m so proud of you babe. You deserve this so much. The past is finally behind you and we can start into a new future.”
“I love you.” he whispered into your hair and started kissing down your neck.
“Oh, okay. So that’s where you are going. Hmm, I like that. But let’s go inside first.”
You pushed him backwards until you reached the hut and inside your bed. You pushed him down and straddled his lap. He grabbed the seams of your blouse and tore it down the middle so the buttons flew in every direction.
“Someone is needy, hm?” you whispered while grinding down on his boner.
“Need you so bad.” he murmured
“You know I would give you everything. Come and take what you want. I swear I won’t break.” you kissed him intensely again before he threw you around and you landed with your back on the mattress.
The next thing he did was rid you both of your clothing. The look on his face was absolutely feral.
“Need to breed you baby. Fuck a baby in you.” he groaned and your pussy clenched around nothing.
“Gotta prepare you first.” he slurred just as he pushed a finger into your dripping wet cunt.
And the moment his tongue touched your aching clit you came with a cry. But he didn’t stop there. No. He kept on flicking your nub with his tongue and added a second finger to stretch your walls for his girth.
“Getting you nice and wet, baby.” he moaned. When he hit that particular spot you arched your back and pushed your pussy further into his face. It didn’t take long for you to come again. You drenched his face in your juices which he happily licked off of his face.
He climbed up your body and on the way nipped at your breasts and left hickies on your neck.
“I can’t hold on any longer. Gotta be inside you.” those words were the last warning before he breached your entrance and pushed his massive length inside your tight channel.
“Oh, fuck Bucky. So big. Shit.” you moaned loudly which seemed to spur him on.
He pummeled into you with all the force he could muster.
His blissed out face was all you ever wanted to see again.
His rhythm got erratic. You put your hand in his hair and coaxed him “Let go baby. We’ll be fine. I love you so much.”
That was all it took for him to lose it and he spilled deep inside you.
He collapsed on top of you and then rolled to the side, not to crush you. You winced when he pulled out.
“That was amazing.” you breathed out. “Yeah. Best sex I ever had.” he agreed.
You two lovebirds spent 6 more weeks in Wakanda. Then Bucky got his vibranium arm and you left Wakanda to go back to New York. No matter what you told yourself, you did miss your dad.
But you definitely promised to come back every time you got the chance.
