got into the layton series for the cool animations and whimsical humor

stayed because the title character who has gone through several traumatizing events that fundamentally shaped who he is latched onto my brain. i started the series i think a month ago and am already almost done with the mainline games(playing azran legacy right now). the only major negative thing i have to say about the series as a whole is that they really fumbled the bag with flora 😔

ive actually never played the all "prequel" games all the way through. my first was pandoras box (2nd game) then lost spectre (1st prequel game) they were christmas and then birthday presents. i never got the other two of each series. then, years later in high school, a boy i knew had two of the games (curious village and unwound future) so we swapped with each other and. never swapped them back. he moved away for uni and i stayed in my city. i enjoyed curious village and unwound future a lot! i

i got a copy of pandoras box later on, for like $20, but i cant find an affordable copy of lost spectre because it isnt out on mobile yet, so theyre always $70 off dollars. it sucks cos it was my favourite game because i like emmy and the "little london" side game was so pleasant and made me so happy. i played it over and over. i would love to get it back, and also the other prequels, and have the chance to play them through on my beat up little ds lite.

honestly it's so cool seeing people getting into layton in the modern day. esp now that the new switch game has been announced!!!

Omg yes! The whole thing with poor wizard families is so weird cuz like they have magic? Just use some spells and fix shit?? Lmao. Wizarding society doesn't even need any jobs! so voldermort is SUCH an awful antagonist and my main gripe with him is that he isn't hot. yes, this is going somewhere.

voldemort's entire thing is that he is terrified of dying so he will do anything in order to avoid that. the horcruxes i thought were actually a really cool idea with a lot of fucky symbolism - breaking your own soul into pieces and stashing them away so as to ensure your immortality? pretty metal. especially since it's implied you have to perform a murder beforehand. neat!

but, at the same time, what exactly is voldemort's quality of life? why does he want to live forever? he starts off as a handsome boy and gets slowly turned into an egghead with no nose! he's played by ralph fiennes and he is not hot, i cannot stress that enough. wizards tend to live very long lives as is, remember that dumbledore died at 150 or so! voldemort dies the second time at 70, after dying the first time at about 50?? come on. so he's fugly as hell, he doesn't want to have fun or fuck bitches or eat good food or live like a king or watch an endless amount of soap operas. he just wants to live a noseless existence?? what a joke. had he not meddled with anything, he could have lived well past dumbledore's age, because he, too, had a few more good years left in him, but he wastes himself away with the horcruxes. and doesn't even use them properly? he is vanquished from his body once by baby harry, but why does it take until book 1 for him to become corporeal again? isn't that a pretty shit immortality system?

his political goals don't make a whole lot of sense either. ok, he wants to rule over muggles bc wizards are so very superior. cool. but how is that feasible? there are a lot more muggles than wizards and they have all kinds of weapons, including fucked up shit like carpet bombing and drones and WMDs. i don't really see how wizards would stand a chance in an all-out war. also, jk really sells him out short. bc she is so very british-centric in her view, she doesn't consider the international implications of this (lol). say britain got conquered by weird-ass people who can perform magic spells. are the european union (hail pre-brexit times) and the US just gonna sit on their arses while this happens? are the rest of the wizards in other countries just gonna stand by? please be serious.

she should have somehow turned this into a world-wide rebellion happening at the same time if she wanted any kind of chance of it working. but that would have been way more dystopian when she really was afraid of veering the books too much into adult fiction. sucks to suck, i suppose. this is why we're in this fandom today.

Oh totally can dish a few things out. It will also dabble into the AU I made of Aizawa adopting Bakugo and Shinsou with Midoriya around a lot so let’s get into it.

Bakugo is not as bad in the morning compared to Izuku. Bakugo will bitch, grumping about it being cold because his body hasn’t fully woken up. Bakugo is only a morning person on his own accord. If he is woken up before 7 then his mind isn’t functioning until an hour later but anytime after 7 is safe. Midoriya however is like the spawn of hell himself with a stone in his shoe and chipping away patience. He refuses to get up before 10 on weekends. He stays up late most nights to train and that leaves him tired. He’s NOT a morning person in fact if you even tried to wake up Izuku before his self appointed alarm then his eyes are burning hateful slits, turning towards you slowly uttering a very low and strained “get. out.” Nobody likes waking him up.

Midoriya is NOT the type of have breakfast. He goes straight for coffee that Shinso made. He snatches it from the boys hand and starts drinking while Shinso is just staring in despair. Then Izuku hands it back, says thanks and leaves.

Shinsou obviously can’t sleep but he’s a night owl and takes it like a champ. At that point he’s been drained of all the energy to be agitated over not being able to sleep right. Some day it’s like a clock in and out for him and Aizawa. He comes downstairs, saying morning to Shinso, Shinso says night and heads upstairs to sleep.

Midoriya plays loud music at night when he’s really in the zone of training and working on stuff. Shinsou could care less and Bakugo learned to sleep through it.

Bakugo and Izuku instigate each other terribly and Aizawa knows it with ever growing grey hair. Bakugo will get hyped up on something and here comes Midoriya as the one who will take it a step further because he knows no bounds. If they are ever in an altercation, Bakugo will start swearing getting ready to fight but Izuku comes through to throw the first punch.

Midoriya has a tolerance level for everyone. I’d rate it as follows: classmates— 70%, Bakugo— varies but usually ranges around a nice 50%-0%, villains— 3%, villains who hurt kids— -194738384%.

Aizawa has grown to recognize when Izuku is about to snap so he can redirect the boy and save them all from casualties. I believe Izuku would take down an entire building while fighting a villain. However, it’s different to Bakugo consciously taking down buildings because he simply doesn’t care about destruction.. Izuku is dead set on bringing the villain down to the point he goes terminal.

Midoriya is on the edge of going crazy every second that passes. You can see it in his eyes, how they slowly grow fainter and tired. He isn’t necessarily losing his spark or drive.. the look hold experience and resolve. Also Murder.

Izuku is usually tense on any day but once he’s completely snapped all tension leaves his body and the boy kinda just tilts his head and squints.

Aizawa isnt too worried about them not behaving. They know well enough to not die nor murder... or so Izuku swears to comprehend. Yet there is always a chance of them forgetting and going off on their little adventures. Whether they be dangerous or just dumb teenage shit.

^ For example. Izuku had a sudden intense craving for ice cream at 3 am and broke out of sleep in a cold sweat. He gets up, goes downstairs and stands over Shinso who is laying upside on the couch and says nothing, just stares. Shinso looks at him and asks “what’s up?” with “ice cream. Store?” As an answer. To which Shinso of course pauses then nods and gets up. Now onto the next challenge; getting a driver. There are two in the house currently, one is sleeping and definitely will say no. And the other is convincible. So there they are standing over Bakugo in bed. The two boys share a look before shrugging and Izuku smacks him awake, not flinching as he swears and sets off tiny explosions.

Bakugo, half asleep: *holding his cheek* you asshole, what the fuck?

Izuku: *leaning practically in his face* drive us to the store. I desire ice cream.

Bakugo: *looks at time* it’s 3 in the goddamn morning, fuck no.

Izuku: *leans closer* if you don’t drive us to the store right now I’m going to tell everyone about the time when you cried yourself to sleep every night during middle school after that one incident.

Bakugo: *stares*

Izuku: *stares back*

Bakugo: get my keys.

Then there are three teenage boys, one half asleep and the other two bouncing off the walls in the ice cream section picking out flavors and toppings. And yes they were successful in leaving then arriving home but Aizawa was waiting for them in the living room with his arms crossed and foot tapping in disappointment. They got in deep shit that night but Izuku got off with just a reprimand after revealing he had gotten Aizawa’s favorite ice cream while they were out. Bakugo and Shinsou however were grounded.

as soon as fred gives the money back and walks out the door he KNOWS its fucked up. for him. for fred. and its terrifying for him. we won’t see this man look confident or cocky or sure FOR THE REST OF THE SHOW. he knows he has to go tell whoever it is he has to tell. he knows hes gonna lose another rung in whatever ladder hes climbed with them. because he is just a bitch boy. he’s a smokescreen. HES A PATSY. 

And I think he became that when he figured out just how bad they were. Because he says to fred that you cant get out AND HE KNOWS. they play for keeps AND HE KNOWS. 

But he doesnt know about fancy. and he doesnt know about the drugs. all he knows is hes not important enough, strong enough, BAD ENOUGH to know.

I think that when we meet Box during series 5 (short hair. suit. cocky with mr bright. trying to slap shirley) that he’s at the peak of his confidence with his position. he’s on the take. he’s just gotten over how dirty it makes him feel. hes drinking the coolaid and he thinks a new wave of police control is coming - and it is - but I think after that... perhaps around when hes paired with Jago.. they ask him to do something that he cant do. I think he’s asked to kill someone. Or deal drugs. or WHATEVER and he cant do it. I think they threaten his family. Maybe his mother, on her own, who he’s been trying to prove himself to. His father’s memory he’s trying to salvage and justify. He said no to something and they threatened his life and livelihood and what he held dear.

And now he’s Jago’s beard. he’s jago’s alibi. hes the name on the paperwork. hes the one set up to take all the falls.

So we get into the hair and the clothes. the jewelry. Hes flashier. hes bigger. hes bolder. (*sings*  my makeup may be flaking but my smile still says on.. THE SHOW MUST GO OOOOONNNN)     he knows his place now though. and he listens to people. i mean shit he even cooperates with the cases and listens to morse until morse presses against that ‘enough is enough’ attitude that’s purely 60-70′s policing styles. results vs. thorough investigation. that wasnt even corruption to them. that was how the system worked. 

Box isnt actually surrounded by his peers. he’s surrounded by people who know hes a bitch boy. jago KNOWS he cant kill (and i presume its because he COULDNT when asked). They dont even trust box to know the whole plan. and even if he and jago taken alone are bros.... they both KNOW they are not the same. 

and here comes fred who feels like is on his level. fred who knows the grimey bits and is still a human. FRED WHO BELIEVES IN SECOND CHANCES. so maybe he just wanted a kindred soul. or maybe he knew it was sink or swim and he was looking for a life saver. maybe in some way he knew fred could bring him out of it... maybe not. 

no matter what his motivation was, fred stirred him enough to finally act. to make a move. to do the right thing. to do the only thing that he could, to stop something that he’d never be able to live with. he went from knowing NOTHING for his failures to knowing TOO MUCH and knowing he couldn’t live with that...

idk theres no point to this but thinking about the LAYERS they put into this man in 4 episodes... and it drives me ABSOLUTELY INSANE

Take A Chance On Me- Part 2.

“Okay. Here we are. The room upstairs and to the right is yours. Bathroom built in and everything.” Amelia smiled as Florence walked in with her trunk. Florence’s hazel eyes moved around as she took in the house.

God she was going to go color blind with all the white and beige. The house was a nice one story, with 4 bedrooms and a good sized living room and kitchen.

The washing room and area with dryer and washing machines were towards the back of the house. Florence set her trunks of items down as she walked through the house.

White and beige were clearly the color scheme with some grey. Florence picked her trunks back up and walked down to the room that was now hers.

The white bed-frame, desk, and bed side table sat as she began to take her various clothes and shoes out and place them in the closet.

“We can go shopping for whatever you like now that you’re here. We weren’t sure what you would want to do with it.” Amelia’s voice came from the doorframe as Florence shot around to look at her.

“Okay. Thanks.” Florence answered quickly, taking her pairs of boots out and placing them in the rack.

“You have really cool style.” Amelia smiled, clearly trying to make a connection with Florence.

“You don’t have to walk on eggshells around me. We can just talk or whatever.” Florence chuckled hanging her jacket.

“I’ve never really done this before. Sorry.” Amelia cringed as she walked more into Florence’s room.

“No big deal. I haven’t talked to an adult who didn’t have their head in their ass since I was 6.” Florence said walking back to her trunk, taking her various books out.

“Well if you have patience with me, I will have patience with you and we can figure this out.” Amelia presented, her hands resting on her knees.

“Ditto. Now what’s the rule for painting everything in this room?” Florence asked with wide eyes, her mind going 1094 miles a minute imagining it.

October is a weird time to start school. Mostly everyone is already there and aquatinted with each other. So Florence going to real school would be odd for her.

“Hey, your breakfast is ready. Link made pancakes.” Amelia knocked on Florence’s door.

Florence had only been there a week and still didn’t get their whole family morning breakfast thing. Like why would you do that, just eat and move on.

“Okay. Thanks.” Florence smiled, placing her favorite glass rings onto her fingers.

For her first day of real, aka normal school she had chosen yellow pants that had a pattern of rust, bright orange and pink flowers with hints of white. She paired it with an orange shirt tucked in the front and white Doc Martens.

Her natural beach waves falling down her back and her eyelashes extended with a little mascara.

Florence walked into the kitchen and sat at the counter as Amelia fed Scout and Link prepared more food. Florence got up and walked to the fridge, preparing herself an iced matcha latte.

“So are you excited for school?” Link asked, sliding Florence another pancake which she rejected.

“Sure. But it’s just school.” Florence shrugged as she put the dish into the sink before walking back into her room. So much for family breakfast.

Florence sat in chemistry. The words not even sticking in her head. A boy with black messy hair and green eyes sat next to her.

“Hey. You must be new. I’m Benny.” The boy her age held out his hand.

“Florence. And yeah I got adopted by some random people and here I am.” Florence chuckled, shaking his hand.

“Okay dark humor. I like you Florence.” Benny smiled, pulling out his notebook.

“A lot of people like me, I like myself. But you’re cool too Benny.” Florence bit her lip to contain her laugh.

“Oh my god.” Benny rolled his eyes, slightly shoving Florence.

“Eat lunch with me so I’m not alone?” Florence proposed, smirking at Benny and his rosy cheeks.

“Sure.” Benny took Florence on her offer. The rest of class was Florence dying of absolute boredom and Benny stealing glances at her.

“Was it just me or did you take in absolutely none of that?” Florence giggled as her and Benny walked out into the hallway.

God Benny couldn’t take his eyes off her. She didn’t wear the frills or skinny jeans that every other girl wore or the hot pink.

This whole 70’s vibe he saw on her made her more appealing. Florence flashed him a bright smile that Benny was convinced would make his eyes pop out his head right there.

“Hey brother.” A girl with dark black hair and bangs said as she whacked Benny’s arm walking beside him.

She wore straight leg, distressed jeans and a Queen T shirt with high top black converse. Her matching green eyes stared at Florence as they stopped.

“Florence this is my stupid little sister Dakota.” Benny rolled his eyes gesturing his hand between the two girls.

“Little your ass, by 2 minutes.” Dakota spat back, her eyebrows furrowed.

“Are you twins?” Florence asked raising one of her eyebrows at the siblings.

“Sadly. But I’m better than Benny so. Dakota March. Benny is my dumbass brother.” Dakota smiled, holding her hand out for Florence.

“March, like Little Women?” Florence asked s as she took Dakota’s hand.

“I wish. But I’m not that cool. Benny surely isnt.” Dakota rolled her eyes.

“I’m leaving. See ya Florence. Dakota ugh.” Benny groaned as he walked to another class leaving his sister and Florence to talk.

whats the deal...well i mean i know whats the deal, having ur leading man be some kinda rich or powerful guy is common for being a popular fantasy and also a very good deus ex machina if you run into a roadblock in the story (fix ur plothole with money) and as to why specifically brown leading men in particular are never just normal rich guys and are all fantastical princes of far off lands, well, insert image of Orientalism by Edward W Said here, but like..... damn man at this point the sheer amount of indian princes is getting out of hand...i roll my eyes into orbit when i see ambiguously brown prince of fictional mystical foreign country #34874329843 but im not so sure its that much better when they choose a real country..... a while ago i was mildly roasting the mysterious-brown-guys-named-zero trope (i SWEAR its a THING i’ve seen it at LEAST thrice) before but like when i talked about how i care about my brown kings this isnt what i meant!!!

and i mean dont get me wrong i still want my brown leading men in absurd leading man tropes, im hoping this is less of a problem now but i remember when i was a lot younger i would like play some english original romance games and all the white boys were allowed to be absurd in fun ways like im a super handsome doctor and im a super genius and i know how to beat up 10 men with my pinkie finger and my parents are dead so im going to avenge them and im a great cook but im scared of the dark and my favourite food is popcorn like yknow you could make a random generator outta that and it rules but then the dudes of colour would be relegated to normal guy whos kinda nice and his route is rushed and unrelated to whatever crazy plot is going on..... the lady options (both ladies of colour and otherwise, although i also noticed a lot of things were especially dismissive of the women of colour) had the same problem.....im not sure if this is a universal take but if im reading a piece of romance media marketed towards women and girls 80% of the time i want something ridiculous and fun..... your brown leading man can be a mountain biking vampire witch from the future if you just try................

(just like eaten by the sky) did my brain make up one called The Vast? it feels like it should be one, and all these episodes have some similar description about their feelings when they do whatever chosen hobby they have. ok now this one kinda feels like the dark. lights going out and all that. ok so not really a The Vast thing, its more of a Dark thing. feckin smirk gah.

ep 64: dice! the death guy! the death game thing! the person tricked somebody else into becoming death and then they were immortal? but if the egyptians wanted to kill him or punish him or whatever couldnt they just kill him? it worked in the end when he had the person giving the statement stab him, that did the job and actually killed him

ep 72: sweeney todd moment. Meat. The slaughter? Idk we'll see what the supernatural part is. Meat is meat. Similar to the slaughterhouse episode. Is it fucking Jared I swear to God it better not be. ep 75: Man with a lightning scar. Has one of the leitner books. The childhood friend of the one who first introduced us to leitner. Oh my god that sounds terrifying. Michael crew.

Okay, so I got my prescription about two weeks ago and since then I have already tried Ritalin a few times.

I started with half a pill (so 5mg) and didn’t feel anything. My doctor advised me to do my next attempt on the next day, but I am chronically bad at listening to medical professionals, so I tried a whole pill (or 10mg) on the afternoon of the same day I tried the first one.

I decided to take it, because our work had been cancelled (I currently work as a security at events which are hosted by our city) and so someone had to wait until the security who worked the night shift arrived. I really need the money, so I volunteered to sit around for a few hours and I decided to take the full pill and try reading for a bit, as thats something where I often struggle with being inattentive and getting distracted by just about everything.

And it kinda helped. I just sat down and read for over an hour without looking at my phone or getting distracted in any other way. I used to read a lot as a child, but since the age of 12-13 I slowly stopped reading as much because I could rarely ever focus on the book for longer times, so reading became a bit frustrating, as I now took days, weeks or sometimes even months to finish books which would have taken me hours when I was younger (one of my biggest achievements as a child was that I finished the whole HarryPotter-Series in just one weekend).

So yeah, that was a nice experience. I tried it again two days later, as I wanted to try studying for university, but this time I tried 1,5 pills (so 15mg) and I didn’t feel much difference to the 10mg. I still couldn’t quite focus on the stuff I had to learn and I kept getting distracted by things around me, especially by the clutter on my desk. I really felt the need to do something about that and so I cleaned my desk. And once my desk was finally free of everything that didn‘t belong there, I cleaned the floor, the kitchen, the bathroom, I did my laundry and I collected all the cat toys and also cleaned all the places my cats like to hang out in of their hair. Once that was done, I tried to learn again and I noticed that I could focus a bit better, but most importantly I noticed that I just managed to keep my focus on doing a cleaning of the whole flat without making any breaks to watch youtube or check twitter or anything. I didn’t even think about my phone, while I did all that. That was kinda crazy, as just about everyone who knows me would describe me as a perfect example of a smartphone-addicted person.

The next day, I tried to learn again and I took two whole pills (aka 20mg or the maximum dosis my doctor allowed me to do before I visit her again) and I noticed that while I could actually focus better, I would also focus very strongly on anything that distracted me. I found one of my cats toys (a self-made mouse) had been ripped and while I was already trying to focus on learning, I just had to get my sewing kit and repair the mouse before I could even think about anything else. So my focus became much better, but also I would focus very strongly on any possible distraction.

The next day my girlfriend arrived and so I didn‘t take Ritalin for a few days, as I know that she isnt too big of a fan of it (that one Netflix-documentary apparently made Ritalin seem like its pure crystal meth) and also I think I shouldn’t need stimulants to be able to focus on my girlfriend. I love her and I always try to give her my fullest attention, so I let the pills in my medicine-cabinet.

Once she was gone again (she has a summer-job in another state, so we only see each other for a few days each week), I tried studying again and so I took two pills in the morning, cleaned my whole learning environment before the effects kicked in and then I actually was able to focus nicely on cell-biology. And ya know, what can I say about that except „The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell“?

Later that day, when the effects already had worn off, I noticed that I also experienced the so-called rebound effect (=symptoms being a bit stronger than usual once the effects of the medication wore off), but as I wanted to continue studying, I decided to take two more pills. So I went to the bathroom, took one, noticed that I had to clean the cat-toilet, cleaned it, forgot that I had already taken one and took two. So I was at 3 whole pills or 30mg of Methylphenidate, which was 1,5 times the maximum dose my doctor told me to take. And then I remembered that I had made plans with a friend to come over and catch up, as we hadn’t seen each other since the whole pandemic started.

So yeah, once he arrived two hours after my accidental intake of 3 pills, I was really focused on what he said and I must say, I felt a mental clarity I usually never felt in normal situations. I also felt a bit more energetic than usual and I experienced the suppressed appetite (which apparently is a rather common side-effect) much stronger than I did with lower doses. Besides that my head felt very warm and I noticed that my pulse was much stronger, so I put on my old smart-watch, just so I could regularly check my pulse (it was constantly over 90, when my usual average it between 60 and 70). Also I told him about my medication and the dosage I had taken, so if I experienced anything bad (the high pulse made me a bit anxious about that) he could inform a doctor. But yeah, nothing bad happened and for two hours we just talked about a lot of things and I just really listened to what he said, which was nice, as I‘m someone who often gets lost in thought while people talk to me, and being able to focus on what he said without getting distracted made me feel like I managed to be a better friend than I‘m usually am.

But nothing lasts forever and so once the effects wore off (took about 4,5 hours) I really couldn’t focus on stuff and I really felt the effects come back much stronger than they usually are. Luckily he is a pretty understanding dude, so he suggested that we just cook until I felt a bit better, which was quite nice, as my appetite also came back and I remembered that I hadn’t eaten anything that day. So we cooked and just played with the cats until I felt a bit better. I noticed that playing with the cats made me quite a bit calmer - maybe it’s the dopamine-boost my tiny fluffy boys give me, or maybe I just overinterpret something. Idk.

(Short break. I know, this post is already pretty long and as it’s about ADHD, I assume that some people reading this also have it. Okay, so lets continue: once the friend was gone, I washed the dishes, cuddled the cats and went to sleep. Or at least I tried to do so. I just couldn’t fall asleep. It was really impossible for me to close my eyes without having my brain full of thoughts that would keep me awake. I tried to put in calming music, as that helped me to fall asleep back when I was in school, but that didn’t work. I tried to make myself a nice sleeping-environment by putting on nice sounds to pretend that I‘m on the Hogwarts express (I used ambient-mixer for that) and lit small fairy lights, but that also didn’t help. I tried to do a brain-dump and wrote down all the thoughts that kept me awake, but that also didn’t help much. I tried to read all these thoughts out to my cats and talk about all the feelings I had that were linked to the thoughts, but that also didn’t help. (Also the cats kinda decided to run around and play catch after I talked to them for a few minutes. I think they have about the same attention span as I do). At about 5:30 in the morning my girlfriend texted me because she just got up to go to work and I was still awake to answer her. So yeah, at about 6 in the morning I fell into a very light sleep and I can tell you, working a 7 hour shift after that wasn’t fun. So a nice advice of mine: don’t do a higher dose than your doctor allowed you at 6 in the afternoon. Or generally. Listen to your doctors, chances are they know what they are talking about.

And here’s finally the last experience I wanna write about: Today I woke up at 8 and decided that I will use my day productively to learn. So ensured that my desk and everything around it was nice and clean and then I took two pills. And guess what. Now it’s half past 10 and I spent the last 1,5 hours focusing really intensely on writing a tumblr-post about my experiences with Ritalin because I remembered that I wanted to write such a post and I couldn’t focus on anything else while I had this thought. So yeah. Overall I really like the effects it has on me, as I didn’t experience any bad side-effects by now and it really helps me focus, but now I also know that maybe I should make a check-list of things I want to have done before I take it, as these things could be mayor distractions down the line.

I hope these reports could be interesting or helpful to someone out there, but always remember: the experiences of different people can vary vastly, so always remember that such meds can have very different effects on you or people you know. Always consult a doctor or pharmacist if you have medical questions and always remember that taking meds or not doing so is both completely valid, as long as it fits for you.

DID YOUR MUSE ‘DIE’ WHEN THANOS SNAPPED HIS FINGERS? yes. quill was apart of the fight against thanos on titan, and disappeared when they failed to stop him.

IF YES, HOW DID THEY REACT TO THEIR ‘DEATH’? he didn’t have a chance to really react to it in the moment. it happened in a matter of seconds, without him really knowing what was coming. he was able to say ‘oh man’ before disappearing. when he woke up, he was pretty pissed. angry at thanos for winning but also angry at himself for losing.

IF THEY ‘DIED’ IN THE SNAP, WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN UP TO IN THE PAST YEAR ON MERAVIGLIA? he’s adjusted surprisingly well. while he’s bummed that he can’t go out and explore the new galaxy, he’s sort of okay with that for now, because he’d rather have the whole crew with him. he knows it just wouldn’t be the same without the rest of the guardians. he’s also fallen in love with the library, seeing as it’s got such a wide selection of music. his goal is to listen to all of it, no matter how impossible that might be.
