involve intersex labels in your character headcanons. please. i've seen hundreds of headcanons over the year, edits, orientations, genders, yet i've maybe seen 3 that mentioned intersex. please normalise it being a possibility for characters.

i'm not sure if perisex people are scared of falling into stereotypes, or if they think the flag is ugly (it's not), but i promise it won't kill anyone if you add the flag in with all the others. the whole point of most headcanons is to explore what canon media often leaves out.

and don't pull the "most don't know what the flag means". if others can use super specific microlabels or xenogenders you can use the intersex flag ♡

pre objectum/plushum discovery is when you're just using the plushies as a "replacement" cuddle partner for people. you don't like sleeping alone so naturally you find adorable plushies to use. they're just there to hold onto right? then you blink and you're giving them little kisses, giving them names and pronouns, the idea of dropping them makes you upset, and you start taking turns cuddling one a night because what if ones left out?

Can perisex people actually shut up for 2 seconds instead of invalidating, harassing and denying intersex people the simple basic function of acknowledging intersex isn't RARE. Every time one of you calls us "DSD" or similar words an angel should come down and throw a bag of hammers at you. Acknowledging PCOS is under the intersex umbrella does not mean we're calling you broken women, it doesn't mean we're calling you men, it doesn't mean you're disordered now, it doesn't mean you aren't cis. intersex people can be whatever they want, cis, trans, both, neither, etc.

You don't have to personally identify as intersex for you to let others exist with the term and community. I'm going to combust! focus on other things that isn't chanting your intersexist views!

As someone who was homeless off and on for over 5 years I'd love to add my input into the fire. First of all the original op is extremely right about how suspicious and controlling some people are towards the homeless's use of the money. I've had people try to follow me into a place to make sure I wasn't using the money for a scam. I was a minor while homeless as well. Multiple people have taken one look at me, even while a teen and went "this could be a scam". I promise you it's more worth it to lose 5-10 bucks to a scam then to avoid giving cash to every homeless person you see. Being homeless is different to a lot of people. Some may have a shelter, some may have a car, some may be completely defenseless on the street exposed to elements. You don't know what the homeless person does or doesn't need and if they don't want to spend the money on food chances are they either got food from somewhere else or a different product if their top priority. I wish people stopped assuming everyone with a sign or on the street is some scammer, yes scammers exist but like op said they'd have a reason to be desperate enough to be begging for money. I can also confirm how common it is for people to have food issues or allergies. I have stomach issues and get very sick with certain food. Someone refusing to give me cash, instead buying food for me means there's a chance I can't even eat it. Which means both the food and money they spent went to waste instead of being used for food I can safely consume. The fact there's some people thinking food must be the best gift therefore how dare the homeless or others complain about being so lucky for getting it?? People who argue with op or have that logic need to remember the homeless are all real people with different needs. That's just my input as an someone with homeless experience, I wanted to add on seeing how some replies and comments were ignoring the whole point of ops few posts

People who insist on buying food for homeless people so they “know where their moneys going” instead of just giving them money and the autonomy to spend it how they need it are not making it to heaven

It would be so amazing if every time we looked through intersex tags there wasn't perisex people stealing our terms, or calling themselves "transintersex" / saying they "wanna be intersex", or proving the point that intersex are excluded/ignored by both cis and trans perisex people. Can we not have one thing? Can we not form a community without perisex people demanding they can join or speak over it?

The one I've seen the most recently is trans perisex people saying they're intersex / they wanna be. No, you are not. You taking hormones doesn't make you intersex, you're either born intersex or you're not. Perisex trans people developing breasts with estrogen isn't intersex, perisex trans people developing a t dick with testosterone isn't intersex. You wanting both genitals does not mean intersex. it's a spectrum of variations and looks. Calling your want to be neutral or to have both parts intersex is both fetishising us and not even knowing what we are. We are not default neutral, we are not default both parts. Intersex people having both parts working parts (like so many perisex transintersex people seem to want??) is so SO rare I'm not even sure it's been a thing yet. There are other terms for what you guys want that isn't intersex. - 🪽

an irl of ours was messing around with one of those ai response generator websites (idk which one) for a college class assignment.

they made the mistake of inserting intersex in. you know what the responses were? the ai asked if they wanted to "fix that with surgery." another response was hrt options near our area. isn't that fucking sad that intersex people being forced to change their bodies is so normal even ai recommends it? im losing my mind guys. im losing it. - 🪽

Said I'm transfem and the intersexist loser blocked me. Uh oh suddenly my experiences that were "just transphobia not transmisogyny" because I didn't bring up being transfem goes out the window. It's almost as if intersex people literally can't be separated without it excluding the same situations and experiences that are part of the term. Also almost as if saying something is "male" and "female" exclusive erases intersex people who can fit into those experiences while not being male or female. Wild isn't it?
