Various personal headcanons regarding Marnie and her kids (w/ @mouthymercx0x0 ) under the cut because I don’t think anyone else is too particularly interested but it needs to be put out there or I’ll scream.

- Marnie’s already had to raise her siblings. It’s the stereotypical eldest daughter issue. No, this has never stopped her from wanting her own and she has no issues with her own kids.

- She knows her smothering probably drives her kids away. She doesn’t mean it, it’s mostly derived from anxiety about what happened to 3 of her own siblings. She has to show them as much love as she possibly can before something has the chance to take them away from her.

- She stops her murder spree for them. Genuinely. She can’t fathom the idea of getting caught and her kids losing her over it. The only time that will change is if someone dares to put a hand on her kids.

- She does not show favoritism among her kids!

- While Connor is very clearly a mama’s boy, it absolutely shatters her that Michael and Megan distance themselves so much. She’s weird and overbearing and she knows that. It doesn’t make the sting hurt any less.

- Her kids probably all end up taller than her. She’s tall as it is (5’9”).

- She’s slightly more protective of Megan due to her past.

- Loving as she may be, she’s struggling. It’s not easy for her, but she won’t easily admit that.

🎃 - Silly interesting fact about Marnie that needs to be mentioned because it’s extremely unlikely that it will be shown or hardly mentioned otherwise: Marnie has braces!

🎃 - Marnie is not a senseless killer. All of her victims have a specific thing in common, which is not something muses I will interact with here share.

That is to say, pissing her off won't end with you in a ditch somewhere. She knows how to be the bigger person...most of the time.

You're not safe from her fist, though. And she does know how to fist-fight.

🎃- She actually made her mask herself, and based it off of a clown drawing her little sister made years ago.

She also doesn't like other people touching it.

🎃- If it wasn't already obvious to anyone, Marnie is extremely numb to the sight of blood/gore/violence. Comes with the territory given what she does.

She's also likely the last person you wanna discuss morbid topics with, because she'll get into enough detail to make the average person squirm.

She does, however, have severe nosocomephobia (fear of hospitals.) She'll take her subpar medical knowledge and patch herself up quicker than she'll step foot in one.

🎃- Marnie tends to snort when she laughs, which in turn makes her laugh more. This is a very vicious cycle hence why she tries her best not to laugh too hard.

Does your muse want to have children, would they make a good parent?

🎃- The topic of children is touchy with Marnie. She's essentially been a mom, having been given the eldest daughter treatment and raising her younger siblings herself. She would absolutely make a good parent, she just doesn't think herself capable as she feels responsible for the loss of three of her siblings.

If ever asked directly if she wants kids or not, she'll always respond with she's too young to be thinking about that sort of thing and she wants to sort her own life out first before bringing in another one.

But yes, she does want kids.

What is your muse’s love language / how do they show affection?

🎃- Marnie's main giving love language is physical touch. She loves hugs, she just is too shy to offer them sometimes. Because of this, she resorts to quality time or acts of service.

Her receiving love language is also physical touch, but she'll never openly admit that to anyone.
