I forgot this was in my draft lol but anyway I'm so glad I found this post because other than it being a very brilliant way to explain fanfiction, I also think it's a brilliant and useful way to put where your s/i oc would belong in your f/o's show

Im going to talk about Chloe obviously and just explain where I think she belongs in the ppg timeline.

If you've been here for a while and endured my Utonium brainrot, you probably noticed that I have 2 version of Chloes, the normal one and college au one.

This is the one you guys have probably seen hundreds of times before. White shirt, green apron, red pinstripe skirt, very basic.

For me, this version of Chloe belongs in the Addition category. She belongs in the canon timeline, not a prequel, not a sequel. I just think that she belongs in the present time where we have the Powerpuff Girls and their Dad/Creator is Professor Utonium. There's no changes, everything that happens in the show stays including Utonium's dating history. Think of it like she's been there in the show this whole time, it's just that she's some random npc civilian in the story and she has not met Utonium yet. The show ended with an open ending, no cliff hanger or anything, it just, ends. So I like to pretend that the story still continues and Chloe and Utonium met in the middle of it hhhh.

As for this version of Chloe, since this is a College AU, she would belong somewhere in the Alteration category.

Despite being the same Chloe, this version of Chloe isn't really the same as the canon universe Chloe. For starter, the age gap between her and Utonium isn't that far unlike her other counterpart (btw I should really update my selfship template for the canon universe because I changed my mind about the age hhhh Utonium would be in his late 40s while Chloe is in her mid-late 20s hope that clear things up hhh)

Her backstory also changes slightly where she didn't move to Townsville to follow her partner and ended up working there to support herself. This time she is in Townsville simply to pursue her study. Her origin still stay the same though, both of them grew up in a big yet troubled low income family.

This also means that since this is a College AU, Utonium isn't a professor yet and the girl's doesnt exist yet.

Now this makea me wonder, what would College AU Utonium and Chloe be in 10 years? I haven't think of them both being in the canon timeline. My idea would be that Utonium eventually will make the girls but that is because both of them find out that they both can't have kids ;w;

Anyway, I think everyone should utilize this guide and talk about where their s/i oc would belong in their f/o's respective universe :3

"Maaan, today was a long one"

Denji groaned out; stretching as he walked along the vacant street.

He had snuck off from Aki and Power not too long ago; ditching his assignment in favor of following a stray dog he'd spotted on the way. Unfortunately, he had lost sight of the dog soon after and now he was lost, wandering about the empty streets.

Just up ahead he spotted a park. It was one of those parks with a half playground; just a singular slide and a standard two-person swing set. There were also quite a few benches that littered the outer border and faced inward toward the playground.

But something caught Denji's eye or rather someone did. On a bench sat a lone person, a human, at least from what he could see at the distance he was standing from them.

Their back was turned to him, but he could see right off the bat that they had some kind of food given the way their arms and mouth were moving. From the ever-shrinking distance he found himself at, Denji believed it was a burger or something; he'd heard those were pretty damn good.

A nice, pillowy, sesame seed bun, melty cheese, crunchy pickles and onions, a thick juicy patty, and every condiment he could get his hands on... man, that sounds amazing right about now.

G U R G L E

Shit, now he was hungry.

Unfortunately due to ditching the blood-loving psycho and cock blocking top knot that were his partners, he had no money to buy food.

But the person on the bench had come to a stop next to his food... would they share with him? Or at least give him some money to buy his own? Probably not, but it's worth a try. So, the chainsaw devilman took a seat next to the stranger and simply glanced at their food from time to time, looking away every time they looked at him.

"Here."

The stranger softly spoke, catching the dirty blonde's attention.

In their hand was half of the packaged snack that they were previously holding; it looked like a bun but it was shiny with a criss-cross pattern on the top. Denji froze, not knowing how to respond; he didn't think he would get this far. Hell, he didn't even know what they were giving him.

"It's melon bread. I didn't poison it or anything; you saw it in the package already."

The stranger speaks again, this time standing up and holding the snack out the the devilman.

Hesitantly, Denji took it from their outstretched hand. He looked it over and lifted it to his nose, taking in it's fruity scent. Then he took a bite; and his mind was blown.

"I hope you enjoy it, you looked hungry. Well, see ya."

The stranger smiled at him gently, letting out a soft chuckle, before turning and walking away.

The dirty blonde-haired boy jumped a bit as he watched them walk away. Was it weird that he wanted them to stay here a bit longer? Should he tell them his name?

But, unfortunately for Denji, when he had finally made up his mind, the stranger was gone.

But she's always wondering why you haven't talk in a while, you used to be just a yapper around your friends but it seems that every time you try to talk, you always get talked over.

You would always try to speak over that person to say what you were saying until you will forget, but everyone never seems to listen to you. She still wonders why you're even friend with those idiots.

That where she comes in, instead of you going with your friends during school hours, she pulls you away and drags you with her.

"H-hey! Ellen! Where are you pulling me?" You tried not to stumble over your feet. "Somewhere, rather than hanging out with your friends" Ellen spoke

"Huh? Ellen who did you bring?" A blonde girl asked as she saw you. "This is Name, It is okay if he hang out with us" Ellen asked, "Sure!"

That was the day you felt appreciated, feeling like you were heard and cared for.

Ellen was now pleased to see you talking again, while her friend listened, you thank Ellen.

Her job was done, you were now away from your horrible friends as you made new ones on the same day.

you sit down, breathless at the end of the stage, allowing your legs to dangle over the edge. you sigh and turn the microphone to your mouth

“so,” you start, still trying to catch your breath “that was my new song bed chem from my new album short and sweet-”

you’re cut off by the crowd cheering loudly, making a wide smile appear on your lips. “okay… okay…” you laugh. you hear a question being yelled from somewhere in the crowd. your eyebrows perk up and you tilt the microphone away from you to hear better. you point at your ears and then to your mouth to signal the fan to speak in the microphone. a girl— maybe around eighteen comes up to the stage and you switch your position to be laying on your stomach to help yourself with reducing the movie of others fans

at first the fan stumbles over her words, struggling to get something out. when she conquers the right words she begins, “this song- I was wondering who you wrote it about”

this sends the crowd in a chant, begging to hear the culprit you had sang about. you rest your chin on your hand and turn your head to the right of the stage, electric blue eyes meeting yours. you giggle like a silly lovesick school girl and turn back to the crowd

you rotate the mic make to yourself. “well if I told you that would ruin the fun wouldn’t it?”

the crowd starts groaning making you laugh in return

“okay, okay. let me tell you a story. two years ago I was at an award show, you know- and I had that black sheer dress on, remember? and when I was walking home I met this boy- oh god was he handsome! we walked around the city for a while and talked, something casual. but there was tension brewing, and we went back to my apartment, and I’m sure you know where I’m going with this-”

you hear screams— blood curling screams from the crowd. If you didn't know any better you would've thought there was something awful happening

“guys, guys” you wait as the crowd calms down and goes quiet again “that boy, he’s my boyfriend now. this is the first time he’s heard this song. I hope he likes this song because I’m hoping to recreate the first night when we leave”

the crowd laughs and ushers you to go. you dramatically gasp. “wow. you want me gone? I see how it is!”

you stand up and dramatically close the show, saying your farewells to your fans and waving goodbye before heading backstage. In a lovestruck daze you don’t realize a pair of lips slotting over your own until, well— they were! you knew the arms wrapping around your waist and the lips against your own all too well via nights fantasizing about them and nights when the fantasy’s came true. your smile causes you to break away

“hi jase” you peck his lips and slide your arms around his neck “I like these kinds of greetings”

the blond mirrors your expression. “the feelings are mutual”

you squeal and throw your head back. jason takes this to his advantage and begins kissing your neck. “you really wrote that song about me?”

“no, leo”

you receive a pinch to your waist in return

“I did, I did!”

“good. because I would agree”

blood rushes to your cheeks. you play dumb. “about what, angel?”
