Effects:

- Shrouding Mist: Kotoko can create thick, impenetrable smoke that obscures vision, making it difficult for enemies to see or target her. This mist can be controlled to either expand and cover a wide area or concentrate around specific targets.

- Intangible Passage: The smoke has an intangible quality, allowing Kotoko and her allies to temporarily phase through solid objects while enveloped in the smoke, enabling quick escapes or surprise attacks.

- Enhancement Aura: When the smoke surrounds an ally, it enhances their abilities. For a "Chill Kill" user like Riki, it further sharpens his focus and extends the duration of their heightened senses. For a vampire ability user, it amplifies his regenerative capabilities and grants him greater control over his vampiric powers.

Drawback:

While "Veil of Aether" is powerful, it requires precise control, and overuse can lead to Kotoko losing her grip on the smoke, causing it to dissipate prematurely or even turn against her. Additionally, creating too much smoke can obscure the vision of allies as well, potentially causing confusion or accidental friendly fire. Kotoko also becomes more vulnerable then she already is when maintaining large volumes of smoke, as it divides their concentration.

🎧Kanehara Siblings backstory🦌

Chill Kill - Adjective, describes something which disturbs a period of relaxation or do-nothingness. Also the name of Riki’s ability

Riki, Kotoko, Asahi and Ruka were born to the famous actress and singer, Hitomi. Their father, Vega Chase, a ghostly presence in their lives, was completely absent. Hitomi, unfortunately after the three siblings were born, made the decision to leave them at an orphanage, hoping they would have a better life without her. Also fearing the consequences the news that she had children might do to her career.

Years passed, and the siblings were adopted by a man whose outward kindness masked a darker intent. Instead of a home filled with love, Riki, Asahi, Ruka and Kotoko found themselves trapped in a basement with horrible things taking place there, their childhood had been stolen away by a cruel captor. They clung to each other, with Kotoko finding solace in the little things—like singing and dancing—to feel free, if only for a moment. Asahi, having been very sick since birth, was unable to do much except watch. And Ruka had taken up doing different art projects with the few things they were allowed to have.

The man who adopted them controlled every aspect of their lives, his presence a constant, suffocating shadow. But their lives took an even darker turn when Riki, driven by a desperate need to protect his siblings, killed the man who had tormented them for years.

The four siblings, shaken but resolute, worked together to hide the body, cleaning up the scene and burying the man under the floorboards. In the meantime, poor Asahi was losing it. After being used to the man and the basement, he had developed Stockholms Syndrome, he helped out too, but the man’s death seemed to have affected him the most since he was also the youngest. After they finished cleaning up, Ruka tried to sneak out and get rid of the murder weapon. But Kotoko caught her and tried to stop her and they fought. Ruka had a stressed breakdown while Kotoko was barely holding it together. Meanwhile, Riki was having a hard time too, he was having troubles dealing with what he’d done. Because though he did do it to help his siblings, he also destroyed the only reality they’re familiar with.

Kotoko, for instance, went back to the basement to watch TV. She was free, she could go (relatively) anywhere, yet she CHOOSE to stay in the basement.

 When Riki brings her dinner, in fact, and switches off the TV in an attempt to make Kotoko come with him, outside of the basement, Kotoko snaps at him.

She seems angry at Riki for forcing her to face the changes brought about by the chill kill, and Riki understands, which is why he hugs Kotoko instead of fighting her. After at least a week of the siblings staying in the house, they collectively decided to try to leave, Riki was the one who usually went out to “get” (steal-) things like food and other stuff, but while he was out, he had met someone named Fuma Kaguya who said that he was the leader of a small organization that would take in Riki and his siblings if they ever needed help. So they decided to take Fuma up on his offer. Unfortunately, both Ruka and Asahi had died beforehand, with Ruka dying from an infection and the sickness claiming Asahi as one of its fatal victims. Later on, Riki and Kotoko found out that Fuma was their stepbrother on their father’s side and that their mother was still alive, Fuma informed Kotoko of the sibling’s existence and she soon came to claim her two surviving children. Whether they’re also members of XY is unclear.

ENHYPEN ( 엔하이픈) is the final 7 members of the survival show I-LAND under BE:LIFT Lab, a joint label created by HYBE and CJ E&M entertainment the group consists of heeseung, jay, jake, sunghoon, sunoo, jungwon, and ni-ki. ENHYPEN is a mix of an en dash and a hyphen that connects different words to create new meaning, members of ENHYPEN will connect, discover each other, and grow together. How I told Enha members apart:

Firstly, the leader and second - youngest, Yang Jungwon.

I really used to confuse Jungwon with Sunoo, who we'll describe later, because they both had that softness. I think all the Enha members are cute in their own ways, which is a popular opinion lmao, but I thought of Jungwon as a youthful - looking one. But what helped me differentiate him from Sunoo was that he is associated with a cat for his features, which I realised was the most obvious way to tell them apart.

Otherwise, he has broad shoulders but a small waist, his eyes are rounded but cat-like and yea

Next, here is the eldest member, Lee Heeseung.

Heeseung is recognised with his representative animal as a deer. Quite fitting 🦌. I think it's good bc of his rounder eyes but I also think he has pointy features. Sort of like a fairy/pixie look, is what I'm getting at, but that could just be me. I used to confuse him with Jake for the face shape, but I think you can tell because his features aren't as subtle.

Being the eldest means he doesn't look the eldest, so I wouldn't look for the oldest looking one to identify Heeseung.

Thirdly, here's the second oldest, Park Jongseong or Jay.

Jay looks the oldest to me. Not in a bad way of course, but his demeanour and his sharp features (+ jawline 👀) made me feel like he was the oldest. If you're new, you're gonna learn that he acts like a 55-year-old man trapped in an approximately 20-year-old body.

This might be an odd one, but I noticed he has the shortest nails whereas the others, like Sunghoon for example, seem to have grown ones. Jay has narrow eyes, as well, and he's often associated with a couple animals, one being a cat. But I think he looks more like an eagle, another animal he's compared to.

Here is Shim Jaeyun, or Jake.

Associated pretty accurately with a golden lab. I think that's pretty good. You'll also find be is AUSSIE and is often either licking or biting his lip 😆. The reason I stopped mistaking Jake with Heeseung is because he was associated with a dog, so that was my best hope until I got used to their more specific facial features.

And not that this is appearance, but again, THE AUSSIE ACCENT. Heeseung honoured Jake lowkey by trying to speak English with an Australian accent, so that may be less help but he tends to be mocked in that way by the other members too.

Where's the lie?

But I used a few more things to identify him, when I was a baby engene. Sunghoon has a number of pretty moles on his face, and he also has a distinctive voice. You just begin to recognise it, like you do the others, but his was the most unique to me. Also, he has natural fangs, so when he smiles and he does that thing where he scrunched his nose, you can find that.

Kim Sunoo is the eldest in the Maknae line. I think he's best known for his aegyo, but he's recently been mentioning how he wants to achieve a sexy concept in performances they do, so yeah. But when aegyo is mentioned, he is the master sunshine.

He's one of the most expressive members and he laughs a lot, but when they're all watching their music videos and stuff, I think he tends to frown or pout a bit. When he doesn't smile, he looks very mature and sort of cold I think, in an attractive way as other engene have mentioned.

Also, Sunoo is represented by a fox 🦊 for his eyes and face shape!

Nishimura Riki, or Ni-ki, is the Maknae of Enhypen. However he DOES NOT LOOK LIKE IT THESE DAYS.

Ni-ki is Japanese, so if you're good at telling apart Korean and Japanese heritage, there you go. He also has a pretty different face shape to the others, and I think he tends to look less pale.

For a while, he's been the tallest of the members. He's associated with a few animals as well, such as a duck or a tiger. Idk how, bc those two are VERY VERY different... 🐯 ≠🦆... See?

But he makes it happen somehow.

Ni-ki looks and sounds mature, but he does do kid things because he's the youngest, doi. He's also recognised for his dancing ability, the most, as he and his sisters attended dancing for a long time and he's only gotten better. Ni-ki often teases or pranks the members, which is sometimes brought up, so that's Ni-ki. Tbh, I recognised him the easiest because he's the first member who I knew about.

Anyway, that's literally just me explaining how I got to know Enhypen when I was new to the band. These days, I'm getting better at distinguishing between different bands and their members so it takes time.
