i drew furirin with ruby and airi because she came to my city and i was able to meet her in person 🥰💜 she was very kind to all of us and did an amazing performance of her solo songs!! DAISUKI

i have a video of her singing Yuuki wa doko ni? Kimi no mune ni! with love live fans at the event she came to, Japan Weekend Valencia ✨💞 i cry everytime i rewatch it because she trusted that we would sing the "datte~ kyou wa~" part and let us do it (⁠ ⁠；⁠∀⁠；⁠)

she said that it was her favorite love live song to perform and she also said that the aqourainbow in LA was her most precious memory as an aqours member 🥲🥺 yuukimi is my favorite song as well and it was my birthday so i was losing my mind... i'll carve this moment into my heart...

then someone asked her to reenact the "sexy home tutor" bit and SHE DID!!?!?!???? SHE WAS SO SURPRISED THAT WE KNEW ABOUT IT AT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD 😭😭😭 top 1 unbelievable moments fr she's the best. i posted it on twitter, sorry, tumblr doesn't let me upload more than one video per post.

both videos were recorded by a couple of friends btw!! she also sang the intro of Cotton Candy Ei Ei Oh but it was during the sound test before the concert so there's no video of that </3 kudos to a friend of mine too for asking her to do it.

all of this was during the Q&A, but the whole day was one of the best experiences of my life. i was barely a couple of meters away from her during the events onstage, she wished me a happy birthday in spanish and then she remembered about me when i gave her this drawing later that day (she was signing merch and talking to the fans) 🥺😭💞

she genuinely seemed very happy to know that so many people were love live and proseka fans. we did the "ganbaruby" and "zero kara ichi he~ aqours... sunshine!!" with her and it felt like a real event with everyone's hearts connected... she took her time to listen to our individual thoughts during the fansign and tried to compliment everyone :') me and my friends were crying so much we could barely speak after talking to her.

this was her first time in europe and she said that she loved the city and the food and the beach 💙 the translator she had was also very nice and they both looked like they were having fun. i hope someday other aqours members come to europe, many people from other countries came here just to see her and i would have done that too!!

I commissioned KuroEne wearing formal wear in a Gothic ballroom with a Snake and Bunny theme, while they're surrounded by their flowers: Black Higanbana (Cluster Amaryllis) and Blue Star Milkweeds (Tweedia) 🖤💙🐍🐇💐

I asked for Kuroha to be drawn in his Design Poll outfit, and for Ene to be drawn in her Seek at Mekakucity outfit 🥰

I asked for a Snake wrapping around a bunny with hearts, sparkles, and roses, and provided the ticket info, including the seat numbers and quotes.

Thank you to Feila for helping me discuss and come up with ideas 💗 Feila came up with the title (live concert name) and quote used in the commission, which I marked with an asterisk (*)

I also thought of using quotes from my KuroEne AU for the commission, but they wouldn't fit, given the space, so I just decided to include them here.

Ene's Mekakushi Dan number code is 6, and Kuroha is known as XX/XXX since he's not apart of the Mekakushi Dan.

So I thought it'd be a neat reference to include in the Ticket info~ The seat/row/gate numbers are a genius combination.

I chose Black Higanbana and Blue Star Milkweeds as KuroEne's flowers based on their Hanakotoba meanings. The colours and flower symbolisms suit them very well. So I asked for them to be included in the comm.

Mire drew both a long and short hair version of Ene's hair! I love both versions, but I love how flowy her hair looks in the 1st one. I feel like it fits very well with the composition.

Mire included Kuroha's yellow circles on the Oshi mark of the snake wrapping around the bunny. Oh my god... I love the inclusion of the thorned roses as well... 🌹

The snakes wrapped around Saeru and the bunnies around Ene... Cute... 🥺

There's SO much detail and effort put into this...

Thoughts

I'm SUPER happy with how my commission turned out! 💗✨ Everything is so breathtakingly beautiful! Mire's art style, colours, rendering, and attention to detail are so amazing! I was awed by how detailed the background is~

Mire first sent me a message a few days ago to check in with me asking if any revisions need to be made.

Mire was very accomodating with minor colour and detail fixes, such as with Kuroha and Ene's headphones, Kuroha's yellow circles, Ene's digital facial structures, and the snake on Kuroha (which I asked to change from a white snake to a black snake with red eyes)

The changes fit them a lot more so I'm very grateful!

Great communication and very quick with updates. I'll definitely be back to commission Mire again in the future! ✨

Mire seriously outdid my expectations tenfold...

How detailed the gothic ballroom is, the flowers (black higanbana and blue star milkweeds), the snake and rabbit around them, the ticket design with the little chibis, and icon of a snake curling around a bunny…

The ticket design is CRAZY good, along with the colours and rendering OMFG

I wasn't expecting the little chibis… They're such a nice touch

I was so surprised too because the turn around time was way faster than I expected... I sent the comm form around Oct 19

Feila pointed out that event tickets are usually printed on thermal paper, so I'd love to print out my commissions for personal use.

We spent 3 days coming up with ideas and discussing the specifics (Themes, Background Elements, Ticket Info, etc.) before I sent the commission form.

Definitely the most detailed form I've ever written

I usually just describe the design details and poses and expressions, and then hand a Google Drive link of visual references. I included a folder of KuroEne's refs, and some photos of the flowers and gothic ballroom as inspiration

I just like to be detailed with my commission forms cuz I find it helps the artist

For the last SS, we drafted ideas for potential flowers, then narrowed it down to the two we chose. So we didn't include it in the final form

Feila mentioned that higanbana are also poisonous flowers... Fitting for a snake 🐍

Higanbana is PERFECT in symbolism for Kuroha/Saeru, especially since Awakening Eyes manifests as black snakes and aura spirals.

The Kagerou Daze VII -from the darkness- illust by Sidu draws him with black aura spirals that coincidentally look just like the spindles of higanbana.

Blue Star Milkweeds and Red Higanbana

Black higanbana doesn't exist IRL, so it's just wilted red higanbana.

I haven't posted it yet, but I'm in the middle of writing a post on KuroEne and Flower Symbolisms (based on my own picks). I mentioned this more in depth there

I considered putting Snake of Clearing Eyes or Saeru, but I feel like KuroEne looks the best as a ship name so I went with that.

The comm form basically describes our ideas. I could talk about our ideas a lot more in detail eventually (but in a different post)

• From the time they've been together; 2022 Birthday; She created a playlist containing songs that holds deep meaning to both of them as well as ones that simply remind her of their relationship, the code to which she painted onto headphones 2023 Anniversary; There's a picture of them that he always looks at so she ink painted a shadowy-wispy version onto a scroll canvas which is now hanging in his studio right above his monitors so he can always see it 2023 Birthday; She learned metal working in order to make a ring (since he rarely goes without one) in which she incrusted a peridot - his birth stone 2024 Anniversary; They both enjoy spaces away from people so she rented out a flower garden and set up a picnic on a bridge overlooking a small pond since he asked her out on a bridge where she gifted him personalized art supplies as he customizing more items (by personalized I mean she hand painted the bamboo handle of each one with things he mentioned finding pretty - ex. certain flowers) 2024 Birthday; She bought bracelet that reminded her of him due to the softly shining silver, the comforting weight to ease his anxiety, each link being so closely intertwined like his overwhelming love and the details in them being almost like the fact that you need to look deeply into Mingi to see who he really is exactly

• She's had small disagreements with everyone except Yeosang since they're both just soft babies with each other 🥺She bickers the most with Wooyoung but it's always just friendly banter, she actually hasn't fought with anyone (except some relationships issues with Mingi) since the intense Hongjoong fight

• After seeing her go into cardiac arrest right in front of his eyes, Hongjoong was so scared that he didn’t know how to deal with it, he simply bottled it up until after the concert. The fact that she was so nonchalant when they got back to the hotel, asking what everyone wanted for dinner was the final straw, he snapped because it reminded him that she was almost taken from them. There was also a lot of guilt involved since he was the one who gave the green light for her to perform, which was building up since Kingdom as he suggested she do the final stunt instead of San, which is how she broke her ribs

Hima never hid any injuries but has a tendency to downplay them a lot, which means that she did not tell anyone whenever the pain from the fractures bothered her and just passed it off as something normal for intense choreography. This worried Hongjoong so much because he feels very protective over her well being, always trying to protect her from every single chance of physical harm, checking in on her mental health often (although less nowadays since she's doing much better) so these intense emotions eventually came out as rage, but not against her, against himself for "not being a good enough leader" that his maknae nearly died

It truly stemmed from an innocent question about dinner but it was enough to trigger the day's events in his mind and he started off with; "Food ? Is that really what you're worried about right now ? Sure, let's all ignore the fact that YOU WERE FUCKING DEAD IN MY ARMS FOR 3 MINUTES"

Ending the year with Blind Channel + a bunch of some lovely people, aka not-a-concert-report from the Helsinki ice hall show (29.12.) and Tampere Pakkahuone (30.12.)

Not a concert report because y'all know pretty much what happened; this is just my own diary entry about the events 😌

So, Thursday was a bit of a struggle for me personally: there were some surprise changes regarding my train trip to Helsinki that gave me a good ol' spook the first thing I woke up, plus I had a killer headache for most of the day...

...and on top of that I fell! 🙈 We were already inside the venue and on our way to take our spots on the floor. Naturally there were all sorts of electric chords going across the floor, but thankfully they were covered so that people walking normally and minding their step wouldn't stumble all over them 🙏👍👌

Needless to say I wasn't one of them, however 🙃 I wasn't running, I was just walking quite fast, and I totally wasn't watching where I was going, and so I tripped and ended up on the floor and had super minor injuries on my hand and knee (thanks @matelas for the pink bandaid 💗)

My fall wasn't quite as dramatic as Porko's though, gosh what a show-off, can't even fall on his pretty little ass without pyros blowing off 🙄🔥

We weren't super close to the stage, but close enough to see what was happening with our bare eyes, and definitely closer than I dared to imagine in advance! 🤩

The surprise Robin was one of the highlights of the gig, that was truly something straight ouf of fanfiction 😆 I mean, imagine being such good friends with your ex that you ask them to be a special guest in your special show with your new bf's band :')

And the money shooting in the air was a m a z i n g 😂💞💸 sadly I didn't catch one, but @thisisntaparty was terribly kind and gave me one afterwards as a keepsake 🥰 I've put it on the Place of High Honour™ (the fridge door)

(let's not talk about how the setlist was a teeeeeeeeeny tiny disappointment (to me personally at least; I was totally excpecting to hear SLB and many other songs they KNOW are fan favourites 😔), and I feel like the show itself wasn't as special I was expecting it to be 🤔 I mean, of course having Robin fucking Packalén there took us all by surprise etc. but somehow I expected more, especially because the setlist was exactly the same the next day in Tampere (and maybe the cruise show setlist was similar as well?). For example, Dark Side being the ONLY encore song wasn't how I had imagined them to end their biggest headline gig to date)

But, speaking of Tampere, HOLY FUCKING SHIT 😭😭😭😭😭 It was incredible, and not least because we were on 3rd row with a direct view to Olli 😵 @matelas and I competely lost it when he first appeared in front of us, in all his sinful beauty ✨

I had never been this close to Olli's side before, so it was amazing to see his happy face during the songs 😭 You can really see from his whole presence how much he enjoys playing shows, I wanted to ruffle his hair too like Niko did during Glory For The Greedy 🥺

And Aleksi was really enjoying himself as well, it was cool to see him up close too when he came to stand on Olli's platform a few times 🥰 I feel like our eyes met very briefly near the end 💖

Niko did the eeeeeeeeyo thingie, as he always does, and we did the longest eeeeeeeeeeeyo known to mankind back at him, in fact I think you can still hear it echoing inside Pakkahuone! 😌

In both shows (and also in general) my favourite songs to hear live are Don't Fix Me, We Are No Saints, and Balboa; I had so much fun boundcing and partying to those songs 💃 I had made a conscious decision to not film too many videos during either gig, because I truly wanted to take it all in and enjoy the shows to the fullest, but at the same time I wish I had taken just a few more, because watching the videos and sort of getting to re-live the whole thing all over again is so much fun 🖤

Great fun was also had at the very informal, extremely small-scale, and otherwise perfectly wonderful BC tumblr gathering we had after the ice hall show in a bar downton Helsinki, and in the Gathering 2.0 after the Tampere show!! 🥰 You guyyyyyyssssss, both hangouts were filled with laughter and kindness and soft feelings and I was so happy 🥺😭💕

(I DIDN'T CRY, but if I did, it was because @himmelno44 made me!! 😭)

Thanks to BC and their superb energy and songs I probably would have had a great time even if I had gone to the shows all alone, but I gotta tell ya, spending time with such lovely people made it so much better and I had the most fun I've had in a long time 🥺

Special thank yous go to my queuing buddies @ladysorbus and @matelas without whom I would've frozen my ass off and died of boredom while waiting for showtime both days (I'll have you know Envy and I acted so incredibly mature the entire time and totally did not annoy the heck out of @ladysorbus and each other 🥰💞)

Thank you to my BC tumblr meet organizer buddy @sinking-into-mist (the meet was succesful and no one passed out due to anxiety, look at us!! 🎉) and my darling dearest sweetest most loveliest @himmelno44 I miss you so terribly much already and I'm counting the days until we see again, no matter how many there'll be 😭

And now the emotional part:

This year's been a bit rough for me personally for various reasons, as there has been a couple of changes that I'm still trying to get used to (+ the always-present feelings of loneliness and inadequacy), but Blind Channel has been this one consistent element in my life this year, something I have been able to escape to when things in my personal life have started hurting too much. Their music and all the content on the side (from the guys themselves as well as fan-made) are one thing, but equally important to me are all the amazing people I have met (in person and online!) and the incredible memories we have made together that have given me endless joy throughout the year 🥺 There have been many, many days when I have felt so incredibly sad and lonely and desperate and the thought of being happy has seemed downright impossible, but during the last two days I have laughed so much and felt such joy that I don't really know how to put it into words 😭 I just want to thank everyone who was part of it, and of course I hope to one day be able to meet Blind Channel in person again too and thank them, for giving me so much more than just the music 🖤

To anyone reading this, thinking I'm crying my eyes out all alone in my apartment, having to continue living my sad, boring life not knowing when I'll see Blind Channel and some of the lovely peeps mentioned above again: I am crying my eyes out, but I want you to know I'm also crying happy tears because of how grateful I am for all these memories, and also that I'm happy to sleep in my own bed tonight and to be eating cauliflower soup and having some fun snacks while watching hockey later, so life's not all bad I guess, even if I have a small wound on my right hand and a bruise the size of Niko's balls on my left knee :')

Hi Shanna! I know that you are on hiatus and probably won't see this in a while, but I don't know anybody here that likes SHINee and I've seen you posting about them and I need to scream to someone and you're the one that came to my mind first. I saw SHINee live yesterday for the first time and I cried so much...I never considered myself a shawol, but I like them and I've been following them since I started in the kpop world in 2009 (yeah I'm ancient in kpop years) and I started sobbing even before they were on stage, just with their video introductiong I was like a freaking fountain...I never imagined I would see kpop legends like them singing live in my city and I still can't believe it happened. It was such a special moment T_T♥ in a few days is my birthday and they were one of the most special birthday presents ever. (I'm tearing up writing this). Anyways, have you seen them? Do you have a kpop group that you don't follow as a fan but would go crazy or would cry like me (lol) if you happen to see them? xxx

Omg you saw SHINee?? RECENTLY?! So you saw Body Language LIVE?? 😭😭😭 No wonder you cried, you were in the presence of greatness. I saw SHINee in march 2017 in Dallas and it was honestly such an unreal experience. They're a ridiculously talented group. I completely get your feeling of being in the presence of kpop legends 🥺 I get that feeling at a lot of bts concerts and honestly, I'll always regret that I didn't see VIXX when I had the chance in 2016. I wish I could see them live! If exo or got7 go on tour again, I'll probably cry LOL also, when bts comes back in 2025. The concert was amazing! I got to listen to 13 live-premiers (?), I stood second row right in front of chris (the singer) basically and I really enjoyed every minute of the actual show!

They played so many good songs ahh 🥰

Also, I was convinced I'd start crying at one song buuut i didn't! I had tears in my eyes tho... But I didn't break down crying this time 🥺

Show was really different from the concert in November (and the one from 2018) even if there weren't much more/less people so that was interesting 🤔

I definitely don't regret traveling around 850km for this (now traveling these 850km back... So it's like almost 1700 km for a 3h concert :D)!

I only wish they would have come out to chat a little bit (because they used to do that and sometimes definitely still do) buut guess it shouldn't be. So I'll have to wait some more to get a hold of them again 🥺💞
