"Hope you don't mind unexpected visitors, steam train." A smooth voice speaks up from behind Rusty, the voice coming from a rather tall electric, hair bristling a bit, they seemed to have a bit of a smile on their face. They resembled Electra quite a bit, but there were plenty of incredibly obvious differences...most notably, this electric was far less colorful. (Rp offer from @the-electric-frequency :3?)

The steam train's gears clicked and clacked as the rust bucket turned. He flinches a bit- taken aback and rolling a bit backwards as he looks the stranger up and down with confusion. There was even a nearly adorable head tilt coming from the engine as he spoke.

"Electra??" Though uncertainty was in his voice before he paused, shaking his head. He was correcting himself very quickly; this wasn't Electra. But they looked vaguely similar.

"No no wait- you're not. It's uh...Eledra, right? Am- am I pronouncing that right? Eledra? Elecdra?" The poor steamie at least was trying to correct himself on the name as he looked down, seemingly reading air in though. Rusty soon lets out a soft apology if he got the name wrong before looking back up to the futuristic train.

"May I ask, why are you here? As in like- why'd you approach me?"

“Will you tell me how that happened..?” [from Wrench (@residentrepairtruck)

"I'm telling you I'm fine, Wrench." Rusty was adamant on his answer while dragging out a few tools from the busted toolbox he kept with him. The clang of metal meeting wood echoed throughout Rusty's busted shack as he sits down on the rotting table- forcing his leg up with a wince. Gears were out of place- a wheel on his right skate was missing. If it wasn't for the fact the rust bucket was a steel being, one would've said his leg looked like it got mauled by an animal.

"All I gotta do is replace my wheel and shift my gears back in place. It's fine, you don't need to know who it was. Even then I don't even know so.." a shrug came from the human dreaming train as he went to work on fixing his mangy leg. A huff came from his lips as he circulated through tools; wrenches (badum-tss), screwdrivers, the whole shabang.

"Could you go through that drawer right there, Wrench? I should have a few wheels left." Rusty nodded his head towards the drawer to the left of the room, gaze falling back to fix himself.

Rusty had his knees pulled up- a hand working on one of the loose wheels that came loose thanks to someone sabotaging his skates. He didn't seem too happy either as there were scrapes and flaking paint coming off his rusted, beat up frame. The steamie's mouth was in the form of a pout before looking up to Electra who seemingly kneeled to his level.

"What do you want El-" Rusty paused in the middle of his upset sentence- face lighting up as he looked at the item in his palm. A brand new set of gears he had wanted but that got discontinued. How in the world? His hues looked up to Electra in awe and confusion as he stuttered.

"How- how did you get these Electra?? These were discontinued years ago!" Despite the question, the rust ball gently took the components with care- looking at how they glistened in the dim light of his work bench lamp.

"...Thank you.."

A pointy-eared child is suddenly on the track. Oh dear, whatever is he doing there?

Rusty was just minding his own business after storming away from the track- and he was sure lucky that he took a double take. Immediately the steamie skirted- his wheels making a loud breaking sound as sparks flew up from his sudden stopping.

"Woah woah hey!" The brunette rolled back a bit- eyes widening as he looks at the human child. Human? Some sort of child??? Either way- they were on the track, and it's not a safe play area to be on either!

"A-Are ya..uh. Lost there?" Rusty took a good look around as he kneeled to the kid's height, trying to spot his mother or father. Perhaps both. It wasn't good to leave a child unsupervised.

I'm sorry. I just mean that you might as well be yelling your thoughts aloud. Do you think Greaseball has noticed you talking to yourself about him yet?

Rusty opened his mouth. Closed it. Opened it again- but no words came out. He blinked before slowly rolling backwards.

"If you need me I'll be hiding in my shed. Out of sight out of mind. Also the fact it's really obscure so-" that was a lie. Literally four people knew. Most of them talked to GB anyways.

"Oh he totally is-" Poor Rusty. He didn't realize he said that out loud and blunt.

Rusty held his busted knee with shaking hands, his helmet laying flat and pieces broken off of it as he cringes. He lets out a hiss and tries to keep tears from coming out of his eyes; not wanting to show weakness right now. The steamie even tried to stand up only to fall back down in pain.

"I-It does- it really does-" The steam engine spoke in a whisper, his grip tightening around his injured leg. Carefully, Rusty started to crawl off to the side- leaning back and reaching for a wrench from inside his hat.

"I didn't knock ya down, did I? I felt somebody impact me from the back. That or something fell on me-"

"Us trains don't really- well uh. We don't really drink? Nor eat??"

"I mean. Diesels technically drink well- diesel. I have coal. I think we both do water as well??? It's very confusing to put it in human terms."

"Oh please, Greaseball. You know Steam Engines are much more efficient- they have the strength to pull more cars, coal is great to get and water as well." Rusty spoke as he kicked his feet back and forth, rolling his eyes gently. Then his hues landed back on the strong... muscular Diesel engine, eyes quickly going up and down before once again tearing his gaze away. His face was burning as he let out a huff.

"But I have to agree on one thing...Diesels' costs more." This was more so a playful jab- but it was clear and evident by the fact that Steam engines did work better on larger loads than your every day Diesel train. They were always built from metals and steel that made it easier to chug along. But Rusty didn't want to admit Diesel trains were indeed faster. But faster meant running out of fuel even easier!

"I- I don't know- I just kinda." cue him motioning all around him in a confused manor.

"I have a feeling some are going to point out GB's Crash. Absolutely he got the worst of the worst- I went to see him after I got news he was injured- I..."

"It hurts. It scares me. That could've been me. Let alone it was Greaseball of all engines. I don't undermine what he's been through...it's traumatizing. I'm glad he's doing so much better but, something like that doesn't just go away.."

"What I'm trying to say is; I nearly experienced Death itself. I don't...want to end up in GB's shoes as well. He's been through a lot- a lot he doesn't deserve. No matter how much he teased and taunted. I wish that never happened.."
