i think the problem with the way youre looking at midnight mass is that its not a vampire story. not once is the word "vampire" even mentioned, and that was done on purpose because at its core it is not a story about vampires. it's a story about coming to terms with mortality, conflict in religion, and tensions within a small community. maybe it's boring and unsexy to you because the point of the story wasn't to be shallow jack off material. go watch interview with a vampire if that's what you're looking for lmao
