Ford took in the question, wordlessly passing the flask. "You would prefer not to know about your being transgender..?"

Ford's head whipped up. "What?!" He said, voice cracking, maybe a little too loud. Stanley looked at him with tired eyes, and Ford started fidgeting with the buttons on his jacket. "You're ashamed of me." He stated.

"Of course not, asshole. I'm ashamed of us. What we were." He took a sip of Ford's flask. "You don't regret it but I sure as shit do, and I don't wanna remember it again."

Ford's fingers felt numb. "You regret loving me..?" He asked weakly.

"Yeah. I wouldn't'a let you get away with hurting me if I didn't. I know you don't regret it, but I do. The twins shouldn't'a had to see that."

"But I do regret it." Ford blurted, wondering if the conversation was real, if he was even in the fearamid at all. "How can you not know that? I regret every unkind hand I laid on you, you have to know that - how could I not?" He started rambling, wringing his hands.

Stan looked at him strangely. "You never did before."

"Well it was different then, Stan, I was young - I was an idiot. You have to know I'm better now, I promise I'm better now - I'll be better now, Stanley, I need you to know that before - before..."

"You're a fucking liar." His brother spat. "You'd do it over again, you probably will do it again once I'm a braindead husk at the end of this. You ain't even sorry you did it before."

"I am - I - Stanley of course I... Oh." Ford's words stopped short when he noticed. "I never apologized to you, did I?"

"What? For starting this mess?" Stan asked, gesturing to their cage.

"For everything, since that day we were fifteen and you trusted me and I took advantage of it. I'm sorry for trying to make you something you weren't, I'm sorry for never letting your charisma thrive, I'm sorry for hitting you knowing you wouldn't hit back, I'm sorry for not raising the kids with you as an equal, I'm sorry I ever called you a name you hated, I'm sorry I ever made you unsafe in our own home, I'm so sorry and I will be sorry for the rest of my life, Stanley. And if it's what you really want you never have to love me again once your mind is gone, but before you go please know I love you and I'm sorry and I'm going to be better." He croaked out, reaching out but not quite touching Stan.

Then a child's scream was heard, and pounding footsteps getting closer and closer. Stan looked at him, and in a startlingly familiar voice, spoke. "Don't let him see you cry, knucklehead, it's showtime."

Ford took a sharp breath and nodded, wiping his watering eyes on Stan's jacket while they both stood waiting for Bill's return.

in this little funny AU scenario, our favorite punching bag and best monkey mac is a fairy🧚

Wukong has been hearing rumors about light or something from his little monkey subjects but didn't give it much thought thinking it was just fireflies nothing he's noticed

One night after another successful sworn Brotherhood victory dinner.

laughing drinking and sharing stories with one another has ended. After a while going to bed Poor little monkey King couldn't sleep so he decides to go back to the table for a midnight snack, azure brother brought over cherries, Monkey King doesn't have cherry trees so he's thinking to plant some around here. he was so busy having fun that he hasn't had the chance to try any of it.

And then he stops, sees a little light fluttering around the bag of cherries.

He slowly makes his way to the table doesn't want to scare off the Firefly, but then he froze. when he took a closer look it was a little White monkey and a pretty one at that, with white fluffy fur, six pairs of glittery wings, and six colorful ears and tree leaves tied around its waist. He could admire this little creature for hours if the table didn't creak under him while trying to lean in for a closer look that is.

The fairy macaque holding the cherry turns around quickly, and they both froze there in silence, slowly and steadily the little macaque starts walking backward and fluttering its wings getting ready to take flight as fast as it ca.n out of impulse Monkey King stops him immediately holding his tiny hands making him drop the Cherry, Monkey King blurts out "WOULD YOU LIKE To JOIN OUR BROTHERHOOD!?".

🤩I'm going to doodle a little more and maybe talk about it a little more as well cuz I cannot stop with all these ideas of little fairy macaque how they fall out and how they reconcile and maybe in some point where Wukong making him a little dollhouse of his own to live in.🏠✨
