noooo, because the thought of Yamaguchi Tadashi gaining confidence throughout the years, not only in his attitude but also physically.

Terushima Yuji used to always throw flirty comments towards Yamaguchi because it would make him blush and ran away embarrassed. You, as the new Karasuno manager alongside Yachi, always defended him, telling Terushima off.

Until the end of second year of high school. After it was voted unanimously that he would be the new captain of the volleyball team next year, Yamaguchi Tadashi appeared with green highlights in his hair, long enough to pull it up in a bun, some earrings and a whole different attitude. A more serious, secure and very much responsive attitude.

The first time you experienced it happened when the moment to play against Johzenji High came. Terushima running towards where Yamaguchi and you were organizing the water bottles for the team.

"If it isn't my two favorite honeybees... Wow," Terushima stops in his tracks when he sees Yamaguchi. You both look up towards the guy.

You notice that Terushima too had a new look. His undercut present as ever, but he too had his hair long enough to pull it up in a short ponytail; and he had a new piercing on the right side of his bottom lip.

"My Gosh, baby, you look stunning..." He rests with his forearm over the metal bar on the other side of where you and Yamaguchi are preparing everything. You know he is talking to your friend, but Yams ignores him.

"You look as beautiful as always, princess," he winks in your direction. You roll your eyes.

"And you're as annoying as ever," you say and Yams snorts amused. "But, I will admit that new piercing suits you..." You can't deny the truth though. Yamaguchi side eyes you, but stays silent.

"Aww, thank you, princess... Wanna play with it?" He moves his eyebrows suggestively at you and blows a kiss at you. You roll your eyes again, completely done with him and decide to ignore him as Yams do.

"What about you, baby? Wanna taste it?"

Yamaguchi takes a deep breath and looks up at Terushima directly at his eyes before saying, "If you want to kiss me that bad, at least take me out to dinner first." He winks at him, then grabbing the empty bag while side looking at you before walking away with his head held high.

You feel glued to the ground, mouth slightly open in surprise.

"That was so fuckin' hot..." Terushima comments, and you know he is feeling the same you are.

"Indeed."
