i'm a big fan of dream and hob finally getting their act together and confessing and getting together only to be the absolute worst to be around. like, hob's colleagues had been telling him for *months* that he needed to man up and ask dream out already, because even they could tell how in love with each other they were, and honestly it was getting really annoying watching them do this weird little dance around each other for so long. so when hob finally tells them that they have nothing to worry about anymore, they're dating now :)! they're all so relieved. except then dream (ever the possessive and clingy bastard) never leaves hob alone and trails behind him constantly and they realize that they should've been grateful before.

especially when hob doesn't stop him, hell, he definitely encourages him, and they also realize that the two of them cant be left alone together, like, ever. dream shows up to hob's office hours with coffee for him? give it five minutes and one of them will have the other bent over the desk struggling to take their clothes off. dream comes to a work gala of some sort? at some point everyone else vacates the room to go look at something/talk to someone/listen to a speech in another room and by the time they come back the two of them are noticeably more disheveled than before and might be wearing each other's belts. it gets to a point where they cant even carpool together without getting caught making out in the drivers seat because someone leaned too far back and honked the horn (it was dream. hob laughed until he cried and didnt even care when someone walking to their car saw them and dream hid his face in hob's neck out of rather uncharacteristic shame)

it probably goes for in the dreaming, too. matthew is relieved that his boss is finally getting laid and visibly holds less tension in his shoulders, but as soon as he walks in on lucienne lecturing dream and hob about making it a point to please not fuck in the library, with half their clothes still on the floor and a rather criminalizing amount of spit making its way down dreams chin, he decides he's not gonna bother dream for the next twenty years until he's got all his pent up frustrations out of his system. (he soon realizes dream's [canonical!!!] habit of accidentally flashing the entire dreaming every time he gets fucked and gets over his general uncomfort pretty quick. you know, exposure therapy n stuff)

Oh you just know that everyone loves to hate these idiots. Hob went from normal, well adjusted dude to horny lovestruck teenager literally overnight, and everyone who knows him is at their wit’s end. He should know better but he absolutely Does Not and he is utterly unrepentant about it. He’s been pining for several lifetimes and the sexual energy is overwhelming!!! He doesn’t discourage Dream from sitting on his lap, or giving him hickeys in public, or crawling under his desk during office hours and not coming out until there’s something suspicious and white dribbling from the corner of his mouth…

Nobody is safe from the shenanigans. The new inn patrons just have to get used to the sounds of creaking floorboards from upstairs. Why Dream has to insist on fucking on the floor, nobody knows. The bar staff learn to turn up the music. No one wants to hear their boss screaming Middle English profanities through his third orgasm of the night.

It’s even worse in the dreaming, because Dream is the dreaming, so technically… the dreaming is getting laid? And it certainly isn’t shy about that fact. The throne room is looking very… phallic, recently. Matthew is just praying that the windows don’t produce more LITERAL PORNOGRAPHIC IMAGES. Please, can he just have one day without seeing Hob Gadling’s (ok, admittedly impressive) penis? Please? No? Ok.

I'll begin, then! Early on in my kinning journey, I was scrolling through tumblr and found art of Hilda and Hilbert from Pokemon BW. The drawing of Hilbert called to me, and I ended up kinning him because of it. Another time fanart had made me question a kintype was fanart of Wolf 359 of Cutter. I hadn't listened to the podcast yet, but the fanart of Cutter himself unnerved me deeply, in a way that I wondered if I knew him in a previous life. I've still yet to figure that one out! -🖋️

hello people just now finding my blog!

why are there people just now following me i don't understand--

ANYWAY. hey there, i'm starquill :) i've had this blog for a while but i'm not super active on it (and actually lost the login for almost a year) or in the dsmp fandom (which is what this blog was centered around) anymore. i'll still take writing requests, but i'm much more active on @goldenapplefortune and @hbghq :D

i miss a lot of the people on here who were frequent anons, i remember slime anon, pen anon/rambling anon, bliss, i miss you guys. if you wanna come and find me, be my guest :) i'll welcome you all with open arms.

in the meantime, i'll be checking this blog on occasion to see what's up, but i won't really be posting anything new. my inbox has been empty for months and i don't really have inspiration to write anything for the fandom anymore. i'm still open to ideas, as always :)

It’s def a comfort thing to Aaron too, not just about sex. He’s 1000% the kinda guy to tuck his hand between your thighs when he’s driving! Sometimes his hands naturally gravitate to your thighs, softly squeezing them to ground him or just to keep his hands busy.

I think wedding dresses are always interesting because in the asoiaf universe, they can say so much about the marriage, the bride's status and her position in a patriarchal ritual, her relationship to her birth house, her character in general etc.

for alicent, her wedding is obviously a horror scene since she is a child bride to a much older man. i wanted her cloak to be too big for her bc she is so young. the little droplet gems and red pattern on the shoulders should look like blood bc of how daunting the marriage, the wedding night and childbirth are for her.

rhaenyra's first wedding is obviously very different. she does not give up her targaryen identity, so the cloak is half targaryen, half velaryon, her jewelery is entirely dragon-inspired and her dress has scales. it's a very glamorous outfit bc it's such a high-society event.

helaena was actually the first one i came up with, because she would have had to be completely divorced from her wedding, thus the two halves of her white face and jewellery and the heavy dark cloak. she is also very young when she marries and alicent was probably the driving force behind it, so the cloak is way too big and heavily embroidered.

rhaenyra's second wedding is probably the most targaryen targaryen wedding bc it's done in the valyrian style. it's a less patriarchal ceremony, so no cloak, and it's very private, so there's not much glitz and glam. i wanted the look to also be as androgynous as it is in the show, bc of the whole targaryen dragon gender one soul in two bodies mythology.

i'm really hyped about this tablet and starting to draw again, a tablet is a brand new media for me to use so i'm still a bit nervous. but i think my excitement overpowers the nerves. amazon says it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow instead of wednesday so that's awesome. i'm not sure why i'm updating you on this matter, i'm just so excited and i don't really have anybody to express these feelings with lol

One of the strongest kins in the emotional aspect was Cyborg Noodle (Gorillaz) for me. I felt so much hatred towards Murdoc when Noodle arrived at Plastic Beach. I was created as her replacement, and yet she was very much alive. I think I felt compelled to enact revenge for us both. For her, to be cast aside and not looked for after her supposed death, and for myself, who was just a machine made in her image.
