(ig in a similar situation as traveler and she misses her sibling terribly so she ends up breaking down or sobbing in front of them. what do they do to comfort her or how affectionate would they be?

now he's not the best with the whole feelings and comforting thing, but the minute you start to feel the overwhelming sadness or just stress in general, he knows

being super perceptive of your feelings is something that scaramouche is great at, so you can bet that before your knee's even remotely give out, scara is at your side

while he doesn't comfort you with kind words or reassurances, his hands are wiping away the tears falling from your eyes, his body is close to yours, and he's running his thumbs along your cheek bones — he holds you and shows that he's there through words

scaramouche 100% asks "are you done?" when you stop crying — both in attempt to make you laugh, and also in attempt to just get you to speak — he's not good with mushy feelings, give him a break!

#KAZUHA

puts down anything and everything in an instant so he can be at your side to provide you anything you need — kazuha is also a very preceptive lover, so nothing goes unnoticed by him

kazuha would pull you to a quieter place (ect. your bedroom, the dining room) just so there would be no other distractions around the two of you

now kazuha is both physical and verbal when he comforts your distressed figure — his body if shuffled close to yours as he holds you into his chest, and he's whispering light encouragements and professions of love

kazuha just wants to see you smile or at least calm down, seeing you in such a state of distress worries him to the core, so he'll do anything in his power to help you (somewhat people pleaser kazuha)

another boy who isn't the best with strong emotions — he understands what you're going through, the overwhelming feelings that you're going through, so the most he can do is just be there

xiao would sit silently at your side, not being overbearing in touches as to not cause you any more stress then you're already going through — his shoulder just brushing against yours as if he was trying to say "i'm here for you"

once your heart finally calms down, and your breathing becomes even, xiao offers you whatever he can think of — a bowl of your favourite food, a certain comfort item, or even just a hug, whatever it is that you want, he'll get you

he's patient yet awkward — xiao will wait an eternity for you in silence if that's what you need most

#ALBEDO

physical over verbal comforts

albedo is on the quieter side of the scale, so he puts his words into his actions — the minute you walk into the house, tear stains on your cheeks and puffy eyes, albedo is walking over and pulling you towards the couch

he'll sit with you and listen to you rant about what in your day/week had gone wrong, never once interrupting you and giving you all the time in the world to let it all out

when albedo senses that you're starting to come down from the stress and becoming more exhausted then anything, he'll pull your head into his lap and just sit with you — his fingers nimbly massaging your scalp as a way to help you relax

albedo would sit quietly for you to fall asleep, and once you do, he'll be right behind you — falling asleep with the blanket thrown over the two of you

kazuha would definitely have a matching keychain of some sort with his s/o — since he’s constantly travelling (this especially goes for if you’re not travelling with him) he sees the charm as a direct connection with you. the charms appearance could be literally anything — no preferences for size, colour, or shape — if you liked the one you got, he’d follow in suit and buy the same one for himself

TOHMA

the main reason he has the keychain is because he likes collecting them and hanging them off of his belt and or straps, but he also has it because he thinks it’s a cute thing to have with his s/o — as for what type of charm? anything to do with animals has his heart — a little dog, a small bird, or even a tiny fish has him laughing in awe

AYAKA

ayaka is a sucker for any sort of charm with a meaning — be it a flower and what it stands for (right down to the colours) or an object that either brings luck or everlasting love — ayaka carries it on her person wherever she goes, yet only those she truly trusts get to see it (it’s somewhat out of modesty and trying to uphold her image, and to also keep it a thing between you and her!

diluc (while not to the outward eye) is a sweetheart deep down — so having that connection with you (no matter how small the pin is) is something he holds quite dear to him. nearly nobody sees the charms that line the inner fabric of his jacket — unless they’re snooping for something (cough cough kaeya) but that’s how he wants it — something that’s just between the two of you — it’s personal and passionate in a way

ALBEDO

he designs the charms who are we kidding — at first he’s not into the idea of carrying around little prices of metal on himself, but he happily indulges in your wants of them — but when you turn around and gift him a small charm (that isn’t made by his own hand) he takes it immediately and clips it on his belt — he’s one of those people that don’t care for things if they do it themselves, but care greatly for gifted things (i hope that makes sense!)

little spoon albedo is the way to go — when cuddling, albedo lets his usually stoic and calm persona flake away, and lets an overly soft and serene one take its place

albedo loves laying face to face with you, hands held together, and legs intertwined — the two of you talking about anything and everything as you take turns pressing light kisses to each others faces and knuckles

with one hand brought up to rest on your cheek, and his other laying intertwined with your own on the mattress, his lips pressed against your forehead — staying there for a few moments before coming down to rest upon your own.

no words were exchanged, but the flex of fingers and small breaths taken between the soft lip locks spoke thousands. albedo was content with throwing a day of work away as long as he was able to spend each moment of it laying here with you.

“we should do this more often,” you spoke as he pulled away, his nose bumping yours softly.

but when you draw the small heart on his wrist — albedo isn’t sure if he’s breathing anymore

his heart would skip several beats, heat would swarm to his cheeks, and fingers twitch slightly

confused as to why you want to draw on him, but nonetheless let’s you after a few questioning and hesitant glances

xiao would look away for most of the time, his mind copying the lines in his head

kaeya is a diva

he has one of those sun reflector things in his hand so he can get a nice tan, has music playing softly, and probably has one of those sunscreen tattoos on his hip

kaeya will and you can’t change my mind, spill tea with you as you lay under the sun — it’s the perfect place to let everything out

now when it comes to the time that kaeya actually does go into the water, he’s grabbing onto you and just carrying/throwing you around in the water

i feel as if he’d try to wrestle with you since the chance of him hurting you with the buoyancy you now have are slim to none

will try to freeze the water to cool down but probably ends up freezing himself and you solid

albedo

with the recent quest... we know that albedo can’t really separate his work life from his everyday life

so homeboy will probably try to either explore, look for anything that could prove to be useful to his work, or just attempt to make shit

i beg you to drag him away, throw him in a floaty, and watch him float away

albedo (once in the beach mood) would be the type to fall asleep in the sun — the epitome of lazy beach days

he would absolutely adore to either swim with you, or lay by your side on a towel as the two of you soak up the sun

^ if klee joined you, albedo will be off (dragging you behind him) as he indulges in whatever klee wants to do

diluc

without anyone else, diluc is an angel

he loves to soak up the sun, swim in the water, and just enjoy the time off he has with you

... but if other people were with you...

diluc would be the antisocial and snappy person that he normally is — a day off on the beach is meant to be relaxing, and the only time he could relax was when it was just the two of you

but back to it just being you two — diluc would bring many little knickknacks to mess around with (a ball, cooler, music, etc.)

he would be the resident sunscreen boy cause i swear that this man probably burns so easily

punt him into the water and never look back

this beach day is only gonna further his teasing, pranking, and joking self

stay far away from the water as well because there’s a high chance childe will either grab you by your ankles and pull you under, or send a huge wave washing over you

within the first hour, childe would 100% complain about the heat and ask to head back to liyue — another one of the guys i think would burn so fast under the sun

takes up the whole bed when sleeping, and this often times results in either you kicking him off for space, or him knocking you off as he stretches out even more

cherishes a small photo of teucer and you smiling — he keeps it on his inside left pocket, and it never leaves that place

has and will continue to either use his vision to soak you to the bone, or push you into bodies of water — only when he knows you have no where else to be though

^ he also will use this as a way to get you to curl up next to him

childe loves to have your foreheads pressed against one another’s — the closer the two of you are physically is better

couple baths or showers are a must — he specifically loves them for when you wash his hair, or he’s washing yours

despite his size, he loves to be the small spoon, and he will constantly either flip you over so he can squeeze his way into your arms, or will literally climb over you to get into the position to be the small spoon

loves to watch you stand up for yourself or tell people off — even though he might scold you for being impolite in public, he’s secretly laughing on the inside and is high key proud of you for doing so

zhongli cannot read cues for the life of him — it’s either you tell him straight on, or he never knows what you are trying to tell him

contemplated moving out when you brought a rock home and called it a pet

i’ve mentioned this somewhat before, but kazuha has a strange love for keychains and small knickknacks — so on his person, he has quiet a few to show off

learns to whistle your favourite tunes with the small little leaf he always carries around

he’s a pinky linker — hand holding is still nice, but he absolutely adores the way your pinkies lock together so nicely

kazuha knows how to braid every sort of braid you can think of — so if you want him to braid (if you have the length as well) your hair, he’s the man to do so

“adopts” cats whenever the two of you come across them, and always comes up with some unconventional name like tuna, pumpkin, or rocky — a proud cat father

drags you into everything even if you were never with him — you could be at home while he’s out doing knight stuff, and end up being scolded alongside him the next day

makes his hands ice cold and places them on the back of your neck, your lower back, hands, or ankles, just to see you jump away from him

c o n s t a n t l y brings home animals in attempt to convince you to adopt a pet with him — i mean daily

purposely makes you angry just so you sass him off, or throw sarcastic and borderline rude comments back at him

you’re his get out of jail free card, so whenever he’s in trouble, you’re the first one he calls to save him

take you bird watching... he likes birds what can he say?

is constantly working and on the go, but if you ask him to spend time with you, he will clear his schedule in a heart beat — he cares for you more then he can say

diluc only lets you touch his hair — mans has a sensitive scalp and becuase of this, you have to be pretty special to even step within seven feet of his hair

he loves to match with you, so if you wear a jacket similar to his, the colour red, or matching gloves — he melts

during winter months, he curls his body around yours subconsciously and warms his body to keep you warm — it’s muscle memory at this point

is the worst at losing track of time and dates, but will always attempt to make it up to you in materialistic gifts and lots of kisses

loves to be the small spoon when cuddling — it helps release the anxiety and stress of being the head alchemist

has and will probably do it many more times, accidentally mixed up concoctions and given you them — good news for you however, they were never deadly

you had to show him how to do his hair, and in the process taught him how to do many other styles — if you have the length to do it, he will not hesitate to try them on your hair

adores piggyback rides — doesn’t matter who is carrying who, but it’s one of his absolutely favourite things

also, much like childe, albedo has a sketch of you and klee that he carries around everywhere he goes — and klee and you most likely have your own versions of it as well

albedo seems like the type to be quite quiet yet observant when he starts to fall in love with someone

it starts off with him getting to learn your small habits — the way you write, the way you speak, the way you move — he’s attentive to the small things you do

when he gets more comfortable with how you operate, albedo will become more talkative and interactive — asking questions to get to know you better, or even asking for your opinion on different subjects

when he gets super comfortable, you can expect albedo to be more affectionate in his interactions — compliments, sketches, and invitations out with him

it’s a slow process but you can visibly see him fall in love with someone very obviously

DILUC

diluc is a very closed off man to the world, very rarely actually letting someone get to know the real him

overall, diluc will adapt his own business and to match your own — it’s his way of getting closer to you

i feel as if with his already teasing attitude to new people, childe would either grow to be more teasing and flirty with the person he loves, or more gentle in his approach

he’d swap out the cheesy pick-up lines and smooth voice for more modest compliments and a softer voice — he wants his words to show as the genuine way they’re meant to be seen as

childe would love to spoil the person he loves even if they aren’t together — he just says that he wants to gift you things

he will also find ways to incorporate your schedule into his own — moving around his destinations and times to match your destinatio and times

overall, childe literally changes his schedule, his habits, and his self (until he can call you his own, but until then he’s a calmed down version of himself)

he doesn’t want to scare you away after all
