Alright, here's another little test for you. You're standing on an open field and there is a villain slowly approaching you with confidence written all over their face, seemingly certain that there is no way you could possibly take them down, even though there is nothing they could use as cover nearby and there is nobody but you and the villain there. What do you do?

—— I  t was down to this one. A one on one fight and Snipe was running low on ammunition. The first few were mere warning shots while the rest were hitting the weak spots. He knew he had been acting rather rash at the moment but now that things were getting to the end, he had to make his choices wisely.

—— ‘Dun look like Ah can make a run fer cover t’ reload,’ he thought after taking a second look at the open field. ‘Bast’rd’s lookin’ rather proud ‘n’ confident o’ himself despite takin’ quite a number o’ my bullets. Ah do ‘ave one more trick up m’ sleeve, bu’…’

—— H  e paused as he looked down at the one bullet that remained on him. He took it out and examined it. He remembered him and his grandfather scratching words on bullets as a bit of a secret tradition between them.

—— T  his bullet had his mother’s hero name on it: Deadeye.

—— S  he simply came up with it after the name of her quirk and it stuck with her since. Snipe really didn’t want to use this yet… But this may have to be the one time he could use his super move.

—— S  nipe grunted and loaded the bullet into the gun just as the villain charged at him full speed. “Really hate t’ come t’ this, amigo,” he said, taking aim at the villain. His eyes locked in the area where he wanted to shoot, and with all his power, pulled the trigger and watched the bullet go straight towards villain and split into various places to immobilize him.

“DEADEYE! ACE IN THE HOLE!”

Alright, Snipe. I'd like to test you. Imagine this. You're in a tight corridor with limited cover. A villain with a shield-like quirk is slowly approaching you, and there is a second villain behind the first one firing a rifle at you. What do you do?

—— S  nipe smirked behind his mask. He liked challenges.

“Ah got two options ‘ere: make one o’nah bullets ricochet on th’ walls ‘n’ ‘ave it hit th’ shield quirk villain, or smoke bomb ‘n’ throw off their field o vision. Pers’nally, Ah can do both. Th’ smoke bomb’ll make ‘em lose sight o’ me th’ moment th’ smoke goes up, ‘n’ sine Ah ‘ave this gas mask on, it makes it easier for me t’ breathe in there. Once they panic, that’s when Ah take my aim. Thanks t’ man quirk, Ah can make th’ bullet bounce on th’ walls ‘n’ are ‘em lose their focus ‘n’ balance. Then tha’s when I act.”

“Well, most of it’s simple, really. Most o’ m’ days, Ah start wit’ some weight liftin’ t’ keep me in shape. Then tha’ goes on t’ shootin’ range, most o’ which was made for a sniper t’ practice. Those suckahs ‘re up t’ 1000 yards ‘n’ tha’s th’ kinda challenge Ah like. Now, as fer m’ smoke bomb usage, it’s mainly for trainin’ m’ senses like hearin’ ‘n’ sight. Hearin’s th’ most import’nt o’ all of ‘em. Th’ sound o’ footsteps when ye cain’t see ‘em can keep ya on edge ‘n’ make ya shoot willy nilly. However, if ya keep yer cool ‘n’ listen carefully where th’ sounds ‘re comin’ from, ya can certainly fig're out where they are ‘n’ act fast.”

—— H  e realized he was starting to ramble on and rubbed the back of his neck sounding all flustered.

“O-O’ course, ya know, A-Ah keep m’self busy wit’ it most o’ th’ time in b’tween teachin’ ye youngins!”

—— I  t was good the kids were coming to him about this sort of question. He’s been on both sides of the spectrum, so this wasn’t too difficult to answer. 

“Well, fer starters, ya gotta watch fer where th’ villain’s aimin’, how they shoot, ‘n’ wha’ kinda weapon it is. Some bigger weapons have recoil so use tha’ t’ yer advant’ge t’ quickly get closer t’ ‘em. Tha’ goes fer th’ longer ones. They hafta take their time t’ reload them ‘n’ arms like rifles ‘n’ b’zookas take a while t’ reload. If it’s a short ranged weapon like mine, those dun take long t’ recoil er reload so those ya gotta be more careful wit’. Reckon most ‘re impatient ‘n’ reload them biggun’s too fast ‘n’ they gon leave ‘emselves exposed.”

—— S  nipe took out his pistol and spun it before showing it off to the student.

“Unlike me, most villains dun ‘ave a sense of aim ‘n’ fire recklessly. But those who do know how t’ aim, they’re th’ ones t’ watch for. Mah quirk allows me t’ let mah bullets go in th’ direction Ah need it to. But ye dun hafta worry abou’ tha’.” He smirked behind his mask.

“Fer now.”

Quite frankly, Ah dun see why the’ black mist guy ain’t th’ leader. Jes’ by hearing’ th’ guy he sounded more suited for th’ role. Though, despite all tha’, we knew how import’t it is t’ get these kids ready t’ fight these villains again in th’ future. Who knows how many more tha’ kid’s gonna recruit…”
