Hello, all... Could the Butcher get a Promo...?

My name is Carnage, but I wish to be referred to as the Butcher whenever possible. I use pup/guts/it pronouns. I'm definitely new to editblr, but I have a lot of fun with it, so I decided to make a side blog for my editing.

I make graphics, overlay masks for pfps and banners, discord layouts, stamp frames, and replycons.

Through this blog, I'm hoping that I can not only improve my skills as an editor and make some mutuals and friends through this blog as well!

🔪: lee heeseung x yoo karina x fem reader

🩸: themes of murder and knives.

heeseung didn’t exactly like it when he saw a random guy talking to both you and karina after he went to fetch you three a new drink from the bar.

the man had his eyes switching from you and karina, his eyes went a little further down than heeseung liked.

walking towards your table, heeseung kicked the man’s leg as he nudged his head, “scram.” heeseung’s voice is clear as he stares the man down who stays put in heeseung’s seat, he even shamelessly wraps an arm around your shoulder, making you shift in your seat as you tried to shake his hand off of you.

karina’s eyes dart back and forth from you and heeseung, a lump grows in her throat as she watches heeseung pull the man up by his collar, he only pushes the man away before sitting back down in his seat.

“i’m sorry, darlings. i shouldn’t have left you both.” heeseung apologizes when he sees that you were shaken up with what happened. with karina’s arm around your waist, heeseung knew you’d bound to be okay with the comfort from the woman.

taking a swig of his drink, heeseung let the silence comfort you as you forced everything that happened to the back of your mind, ignoring how filthy it felt to be flirted with a man like that.

standing up, heeseung only smiles at you and karina when he meets eyes with you both. he makes his way out of the booth with no word, taking long strides out of the bar while you looked at karina worriedly.

“yoo, where’s hee going?” your brows scrunched up as you looked at her with worry, karina only smiles at you, “i’m sure he just forgot his jacket or something, he’ll be back soon.” she smiles at you, her caring eyes hide away something that you will never see.

nodding, you sit back against the plush cushion of the chair, swirling the liquid in the glass in your hand as karina spoke to you.

it’s dead silent as heeseung got back on his feet, his hands instinctively wipe themselves on the dirtied towel stuffed in his jacket. he meticulously cleaned his hands, getting rid of every skid of dirt and specks of blood on his hands.

kneeling on one knee, his hand wraps around the butcher knife lodged into the man’s chest— the same man who had the nerve to flirt with you, let alone even wrap an arm around your shoulder. the man’s eyes flash him a look, with life slowly draining out of him, heeseung smiles down at him.

“you’re nothing but a lowlife who can’t get a girl for himself.” heeseung huffs before pulling the knife in one go, he watches as the blood drips from the edge of the blade.

he quickly wipes his knife clean with his towel before chucking it back into its safe case, heeseung spares no look at him as he turns his back and walks away, making his quick strides to his car before hiding away his array of knives and his bloodied towel before heading back into the bar where his darlings were waiting.

“hee! where’d you go?” you say, perked up when you see heeseung enter the bar, now with his favorite jacket on.

shaking his head as he sat beside you, his arm comfortably slung around your shoulder as he pulled you in, “oh nothing, got caught up with a few friends and i fetched my jacket and your phone from the car.” heeseung says as he fished your phone out of his pocket.

he meets eyes with karina who shook her head at him. you know where i was, heeseung thought as karina bore her eyes into his.

you were with us at the bar, karina thought as she nodded at heeseung, seemingly understanding what that look from him meant.

gawking at heeseung, you don’t notice the looks your friends exchange as you looked down ay your phone, “oh goodness, it’s already 3:35 am!” you say as you looked at karina before looking at heeseung who smiles at you.

he steals a quick kiss on your cheek before he spoke, “let’s hurry and get home then, gotta get our darling to bed.” heeseung sang in a sing song voice as the three of you stood up.

i just killed a man and she’s my alibi, heeseung smiles when he caught a glimpse of the reflection of the three of you on the door.

Okay real talk —- I know I made fun of Slasher: The Executioner a lot as I watched - but c’mon. This show is very silly & corny in a fun, campy, & highly enjoyable way & I think it was practically begging for horror fans to giggle at it at least a bit. This show knows what it was doing, it knows the tropes it was diving into, & it knows how ridiculous it got at times which is fine - wonderful even 😉

I genuinely liked this season / story a lot though. I think the small town murder mystery & the way the past tied in with the present, the identity of the killer, the interconnected side plots & smaller mysteries & how they interacted with the main plot & the community of somehow real yet also tropey characters in this little American town was actually sincerely very well written. The social, political & religious commentary sometimes got confusing but I think that’s on me for occasionally looking too deep into a plot that was simply not meant to be analyzed the way my brain wants to. Which is fine. If you watch this - it’s a goofy murder mystery okay, if there is any subtle commentary it’s truly not that deep. Mostly, this is just a fun cast of entertaining characters either getting butchered in crazy ways or Investigating Spooky Mysteries. Take it for what it is.

It’s not like the show wasn’t aware when it was being ridiculous & my chuckling at the ridiculousness was truly a part of my enjoyment. So again, all my laughter is out of affection. Honestly in some ways this show was a bit of a breath of fresh air when nothing ever wants to embrace its genre anymore & everybody thinks they’re a genius even when they’re not. There’s nothing wrong with a classic gory slasher mystery - we need more of those always at all times actually!!! All the time!!!

Basically: Slasher: The Executioner was a gory & very fun romp that didn’t ever take itself too seriously or think it was something more pretentious than it was if that makes sense. Very enjoyable.

So yeah, I actually really liked the first season of this little anthology & would recommend it if you’re a fan of slashers & murder mysteries. That was a lot of fun 🎃🔪🩸😈
