So a little bit more about the AU until I make a masterpost: It's only the Smiling Critters but The Hour of Joy still happens technically just for a different reason apart from the canon

This AU is detached from the game and partially the cartoon as well but the Hour of Joy is so iconic for Catnap, I decided to keep it :0 (As well as keeping the prototype but he's a whole different being in this AU)

They are in college BUT this is also a magical girl AU too so they have ✨powers✨ as well and Catnap's are just a lil fucked up, just a smidge

Still figuring out this VHS filter, this is a lot darker in color than I wanted buuuut it's the vibe, it's fine

As much as the FNAF games scared me growing up (and still does sometimes-), it's a nostalgic sort of fear to it now,, I love this series and I think I always will, it scares me, it makes me laugh, it makes me cry , it's special to me

Even the fandom is special to me, it has its toxic and weak moments but that's all fandoms, it doesn't overshadow all of the memories I have of watching FNAF SFMs and listening to old FNAF songs religiously lmao (does anyone remember Tony Crynight still? I took that lore as a fact as a child)

Happy 10 years to FNAF! I have no doubt it'll probably go on for 10 more and we still won't understand the whole timeline <3

"Not all shooting stars grant wishes. Some are scornful." ••••• What happens when a friend group of 8 critters in college get selected by the divines to stop a great evil darkness that's uncovering and slowly spreading across Poppy Creek Heights? Heroic hell, that's what. After the fall of Prototype happened centuries ago, when the universe was created, allegedly. The tale is as old as time and is not believed to be nothing but a myth...but when 8 stars are uncovered one night by exactly 8 critters, things changed. Those very critters have been witnessing oddity that weren't there before and it's slowly getting worse...yet no one in the city believes them cause they all haven't seen it with their own eyes. Someone needs to do something and the stars know exactly who needs to do it: The (self-proclaimed) Prismatic Critters! Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on which of The Prismatic Critters you ask), this mission comes with fighting shadows, arguing amongst who can be trusted, partying, a ton of both magical and college drama and of course, love! Catnap is the primary culprit to that one...but...Catnap is acting strange even outside of that.
