Well, d*rn! I've never seen it, but that is SO EPIC!!!!! OKAY, okay. I've got to know now:

What weapons do you think each Reader would be? And what weapons do you see the different X-Men and Brotherhood and villains being?

(If Bat Reader, a.k.a. Radar, is dual machete-blade-things, and Knell of the Bell Reader is an epic sword-spear thing, and Gnarp Gnarp Reader is a bug blaster/laser cannon... ooooo... all of the ideas for the other Readers and characters! Hahaha!)

(I imagine Creed Readers tend to be spiked/clawed brass knuckles or gloves, and I can see Dragon! Reader being a shield or discus or weapon version of a boomerang...)

silly little thing I sent last night that Tumblr ate up

Imagine Clover/Knell of the Bell reader's mutation involves them being able to quickly regrow their horns to fight, but also have to shed off the extra piece of horn that they had suddenly grown

And it's like how deer shed velvet from their horn

Reader just walking into a room, horns all bloody, and just casually scratching at their head like they have an itch

Oh wow...

Kurt freaks out, so do the rest of the X-Men, and the only one not freaking out is Logan, who offers to help Reader (and is eyeing their horns, so he can keep them when they fall off; gotta track his new kid's growth).

Reader has an impressive set of horns though! So sharp and shiny and deadly! They like to charge headfirst into fights, to scare off or impale their enemies before they're a threat. It works, 9.99/10 times!

silly idea I had, house of mouse type of scenario, except with the readers running a nightclub

All the readers get to wear some sorta fancy wear(even Radar, who's wearing a dress shirt and a bowtie underneath their Technician uniform)

AAAAAHHHHH!!!! YES YES YES!!!!!!!

I love it. Yes. And the problems they face every night is either the X-Men, the Brotherhood, the Acolytes, certain characters, or even team-ups between two or more platonic yanderes or even the whole groups. And the audience is usually either Readers, more sedate platonic yanderes, or the parents such as Dandy, Doe, the Gnarp Gnarpians, or Snake Parent (we'll get thr Gnarp Gnarps and Snake Parent proper names soon).

Each night has a new chaos, each performance features a new Reader or a recurring one and their adventures, and the shenanigans are brought by the platonic yandered being themselves. Even the likes of President or Principal Kelly, Col. William Stryker, Mr. Sinister, and Sentinels show up from time to time. They usually stay chill, but only in this au (plus they could be snapped out of existence by Isekai Reader, so, best not to tempt the literal embodiment of chaos to lose their sh*t).

So. Yee. New AU!!!!

Little ideas for Dandy and Doe(Goat Papa and Mama)

Dandy: wow... your eyes are like sapphires, gee! Heh, that's pretty corny though huh?

Doe: oh no, not at all... Anyone would like it

Dandy: everyone's(morph) always asking, Dandy how'd you bag that baddie? How'd you bag that baddie? I didn't bag shit! Doe picked me up and threw me over her shoulders (metaphorically or literally, either way is funny), and I've been here ever since, And I have no plans of getting down!

Ahaha! (Dandy is head over hooves for Doe, Doe is head over heels for him, and now Dandy has a wife, Doe has a husband, and they both have three partners who are powerful mutants and are the other loves of their lives!)

Dandy is very sweet, a bit country, very charming, and is very gentle and likes to spoil others (he also let's himself be spoiled). He gets really rough and tough in battle or during missions, and is super strong, has sharp horns, has a very thick skull, and can pick up and haul Logan.

Doe is beautiful and cunning. Don't mess with her sunshine ball of light husband, their amazing weather goddess partner, their charming mimic partner, or their fluffy growly partner. She can and will end someone. She's doting, can pack a punch, wears all kinds of dresses and sweaters, and is very happy when she finds out she' and her partners are going to finally have a baby.

(Yes, those five tried for a kid for, like, several years. They finally get one, and then once Dandy and Doe are gone, so too is the baby, it seems...) (except surprise, it's Reader, who followed/was kidnapped by Sabretooth, and ended up stuck with him)

Dandy, when he finds out he's about to be a dad, starts crying. He sobs, he wails, and he starts trying to think of baby names. Doe is more collected, but ends up also crying and sobbing, and they both hold each other and start trying to think of a color for the nursery. Logan, Morph, and Storm also end up crying. Logan is quicker to shrug it off, bit is so very pleased, Morph is bawling and already attached, and Storm is starting to drag all of them out to start shopping for baby stuff.

(What are Reader's few possessions or possesion they kept from when they were still with their mom, Mama Goat/Doe? Do they have anything from their dad, Papa Goat/Dandy?)

A scene from Knell of the Bell, X-Men Evolution version:

Reader didn't want to do this.

They really f*cking didn't.

But...

They sigh softly to themself. They've been stuck here for heavens only knew how long. The cells are see through, and that means all of then can see each other (when they're not asleep or being dragged out). But Reader isn't concerned for their old mentor/"dad", or his enemy. No.

They're worried about Kurt.

He hasn't taken any of this well. Not one bit.

Reader is used to being treated like this. Like they're not a person, or a child, or like they're just an object. Kurt isn't. He shouldn't have to go through any of this.

But here he is, stuck with monsters like Sabretooth and Wolverine and Reader, experimented on and left to rot, waning away until they either break or die, same as them...

So Reader doesn't want to do this. But they'd rather Kurt be happy, or at least smile, have some comfort, even if he doesn't recognize them.

They're quick about it.

When their cell is opened, when Reader has a few minutes to talk with one of the others (for observation, according to the scientists and stuck-up snobs running this place), they choose Kurt. They'd choose him a heartbeat any day over the other two.

He's fearful when they enter. He doesn't realize that under their skull lies the face of his ally, not his enemy. But Reader isn't here to reveal that.

"Here... take this..." they whisper, holding out their cloak and passing their precious cargo into his hands. They feel their throat closing up, feel the tears prick at their eyes. "Just... be gentle with it, please." And then they leave, letting thenself be herded back to their cell and chained back up...

Kurt can only stare at the item that had been pressed into his hands. It's fluffy, soft, with the faint smell of lavender in its fur. Its eyes are sweet, it's nose light pink, its wool a dark black.

He can only stand there, clutching it in disbelief.

Because it's the only thing that he knows Reader has shown care about.

And they just pressed that loved, black sheep into his arms.

silly idea for an au

Gambit basically getting isekaied into a sorta alt universe, and ends up meeting a younger Bat!Reader(maybe specifically before Reader nearly gets drowned) and like- Gambit stealing Reader because he has the power of sorta foresight

Gambit: SHUT UP! Gambit's going to kill the next person he sees I swear to God-

Bby Bat!Reader in the background: Hello! Hi! I'm so happy to see you!

Gambit awkwardly turning around to look at reader: .... Hey oh my god- heyy what's going on? Hey petite bat-

(though this could work for other versions of a character finding a bby reader before a predestined disaster occurs- like someone ending up meeting knell of the bell!Reader before Sabretooth comes in to ruin literally everything-)

Oh... oh no... you have unleashed the cuteness.

If the platonic yanderes end up isekaied or sent back in time and end up finding Reader before they become an anxious or pessimistic or deadly teenager/young adult, they're snatching that bby up and running for it. Sorry. Non-negotiable. This is THEIR bby now, they will have a happy, not-dangerous childhood, and they won't be hurt.

(Yeah... Gambit, Logan, Kurt, Morph, and Storm are stealing a bby Reader if they end up in that situation. Jubilee or the X-Teens would be getting a new sibling and friend who isn't traumatized. Whoever finds Reader now gets: one happy, blunt bby)

Knell of the Bell Reader looks so awesome! And their bby self is so adorable! I want to squosh both their cheeks and give them cookies! They're one traumatized kid, who has a dark backstory, and now they are off on an adventure to try and be good! (And to find family)

I love their horns! And their tail! And their claws and hooves! Their cape! Their skull! Their bell! Their ears! Their eyes! AAAAHHHH! I like the colors you used for them, in both forms! And the shading on them, that's amazing!

Here's the original ask

Imagine it was Sabertooth that killed this Reader's mother, probably while attacking humans. Reader originally goes after him to try killing him, but y'know- at the time they're literally just a child- so instead they decide to try getting Sabertooth to take them as an apprentice so they can become strong like him, so one day they could be able to avenge their mother, it takes some time, but eventually Sabertooth does take reader under his wing, maybe kinda reminiscent of this scene in the movie

and as time goes on, as they train, as their body mutates as they age, Reader becomes close to their mother's killer, seeing Sabertooth as a sorta father figure. One day Sabertooth and reader return to Reader's old home, Reader gets tasked with killing every human in the area, they first go along with it, charging in to attack, but as they're about to they see a mother trying to protect their child, reminding Reader of their childhood, and causing them to go back on their task. When Sabertooth tries showing them how it's done Reader attacks, refusing to let this happen again,

Sabertooth: are you out of your mind pipsqueak?

Reader: i-I AM A MAN! *Charges at sabertooth and gets their horns jammed into a piece of wood, but manages to break free as they turn back and charges at Sabertooth again* YOU'RE THE MONSTER WHO KILLED MY MOTHER!

Maybe Reader 'kills' Sabertooth, stabbing their horns into him, but ends up regretting their actions as their old community rejected them, and without Sabertooth, they had no home

Alsoooo my idea for Reader's design(+some doodles)

Oh. My. Pearl. Look. Look at them. Their sweet bby self. Their moody and traumatized teen/young adult self. Their horns. Their fluff. Amd the backstory? I like it. I like it a lot.

I've heard of this movie! But it's been a while. And I can see Sabretooth having killed a small town or community full of people, and then accidentally leaves behind bby Reader. Bby Reader who then finds him, tries to avenger their mother/father, fails because they are too bby, and then ends up talking Sabretooth into training them to he big and strong and fearsome. As they grow up, fhe start to see him as a sorta father-figure, and Sabretooth starts to see them as his kit... Then Reader and Sabretooth attack another small town or community full of humans, but Reader, seeing a parent and child, has a change of heart, and turns on their mentor, they fight, and Reader ends up assuming they killed Sabretooth. But humans being humans (and thr mass destruction) lead to the humans chasing Reader away and trying to kill them, leaving Reader alone amd weary and more lost than ever...

(Amd then they run into the X-Men, maybe? And get to try and learn healthy relationships) (and have everyone go platonic yandere, because wow this sad bby needs a family and warm clothes and therapy)

Dandy and Doe as dragons is the Wings of Fire-fied au, except Dandy is either a regular dragin/worker or prince, Doe is either a noble or ex-assassin, and they partnered with the X-Dragons (and end up having Reader's egg) (can have a villainous Reader or a sweet one, your choice)

Dandy and Doe being ex-villains au (or from Weapon X, but left with Logan)

(D*rn it, I just want to hug those two! Cube Anoooon. Why are they so sweet?! They're just- AAAAAHGGGG!) (Reader, I imagine, takes after Dandy in hair and some facial features. They get some of their coloring from Doe, and her grace)
