💌: in which you’re sick and fred takes care of you. :-) 📝 word count: 799 words / husband!fred x reader / 🌸 fluffflufffluff ✨ 💬: sorry for the lack of updates! but here’s a lil’ something on my mind and it aligns with another smol request for a drabble previously! >:) hope everyone had a great new year! 

it started with a runny nose... that snowballed into a cold, sore throat and a skyrocketing fever borderline to high fever that leaves you bedridden on the sofa because you refuse to allow fred to navigate you back and forth for the sake of watching the television. from the second fred noticed you don’t look so good, love... he’s gotten you to listen to him; take sick leave, spend the days ahead recovering under his care.

now, everyone might think it was funny. for someone so carefree, the jokester and prankster–the infamous fred weasley being an overnight nurse? that was something to be laughed at. only in endearment when fred cares and loves you like no other; his intentions to treat you until you’re back in tip-top shape makes your heart swell so much you can’t tease him about it.

he’s doing everything by the books. by that, he’s ring up molly a couple of times to make sure he doesn’t accidentally blow up the kitchen trying to make you some soup along with medicine to make you feel better. he fluffs up your pillow, tucks you in, makes sure your bottle of water is filled up before he leaves for work and comes back to check on you almost like clockwork... if you made fun of him for that, you wouldn’t have a heart.

it’s been four days and you’re almost better. one more good night’s rest and you can feel it in your bones that you’d be off the sofa and back into bed with your loving husband.

fred weasley wouldn’t be fred weasley if he didn’t take full advantage of being that husband.

“freddie,” you try to reach for the spoon he’s feeding you with, only for him to tut as he dodges your attempt. (second attempt, might he add)

“c’mon, you let me do this the previous nights.” he grumbles, hovering the spoon by your lips, “what’s one more?”

“i’m almost better!”

“almost,” he repeats, in a tone that makes you roll your eyes at. you can’t quite deny his brown eyes pleading at you, almost too puppy-like for you to push away. with a sigh, you part your lips for him to spoon the soup into your mouth and it automatically makes you smile at the taste of warm chicken noodle soup.

he bites his lip and leans back, putting the spoon back into the bowl as he gauges your facial expression. fred hadn’t had time to “perfect” his recipe but molly has been giving pointers through and through. the fact fred cares this much about you makes you feel like the luckiest person alive. then again, you weren’t surprise but it was definitely a lovely reminder (minus the fact you were sick and all, his sweetness overrides it all).

“this is the best bowl you’ve made yet,” you grin, shoulders scrunching up in excitement that it bubbles over to fred. he quickly scoops another mouthful for you and it makes his heart rest easy at the way you gratefully take a bite and let the taste simmer in your mouth. after another spoonful, and another, and another, and many more, the bowl soon becomes empty and fred’s able to let you lay back down with a sheepish grin on your face.

he watches as your eyelids grow heavy, the night settling back down into tranquility as he tucks you into the sofa with the blanket. he remains seated by your side, allowing you to press his hand to your cheek as you get some rest. he gently brushes the hair from your face, then settling that same hand onto your arm and gives you a small squeeze.

“thank you for taking care of me, freddie,” you murmur in a soft whisper, then pressing a kiss to his hand you’ve held captive. fred doesn’t trust his own voice, knowing it’ll give way to trembling when you’re looking at him like that even after so many years of being together; since hogwarts, now married, it feels like the first time over and over again falling in love with you that he’s able to preach for in sickness and in health, the love you have for him always prevails through it all.

it was something small; mundane. yet, it echoes into the chambers of fred’s heart of loving someone so deep and to have it reciprocated that makes life worth living.

“in sickness and in health,” he manages to joke with a chuckle, earning a snort from you.

“and all the pranks i’ll bear through forever,” you complete his sentence, well-aware of the promise he made on the day of your marriage.

“and a little bit more after that.” the two of your voices overlap each other in the cheesiest of ways but in the happiest.

I’ll do 15 at a time since they’re easy to get through but if I happen to take a break or something then I’ll pick out 15 to focus on and ignore the potential others for that time being!

> Writing Requests are exactly how they sound, a full on fic! Now I do get burnt out pretty fast even if I’m into the writing process so do be warned it may take a while for me to finish it if I’m going through that time. Unfortunately and fortunately, it may take months to finish if the burn out is that bad or life is just being a bitch at the time. I’ve had a Heartstopper request in my inbox for almost a year (maybe even going on two) because the idea was not fun to write anymore BUT you will still get it. I don’t plan for requests to ever sit that long again now that I’m in a better spot now & getting back into watching shows + playing games! Writing requests may go up to 5 eventually but I think 3 is a good spot because when I write fics… I write A LOT, haha.

Word count: 200

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Prompt: Morning/Night

Morning kisses are Cas' favorites.

Dean wakes up slowly, he opens his eyes and the first thing he does is looking at Cas and smiles.

“Mornin' sunshine.”

“Hello, Dean.”

It takes Cas only a second before he leans to Dean's lips and kisses him softly. And it's not that he's accepted or tolerated, but he's welcomed. Dean wants him by his side. He wants to wake up next to him, and for Cas it's everything he ever wished for.

“I love you,” he murmurs into his mouth and gives him another kiss, it's never too much.

“And I you,” says Dean because this is the only right answer in their universe.

Morning kisses don't end in their bed because there's more: morning kiss in the shower, morning kiss when they're preparing breakfast, morning kiss during a coffee...

Later, they have noon, afternoon and more kinds of kisses.

At the end of the day, they lie on the bed again, kissing with the same fondness as all day. And after the last kiss, Dean is the first one who whispers “I love you”. Cas always answers the same.

Night kisses are Dean's favorites.

Because Cas is not going anywhere. He stays.

He's mega creepy. Stop hanging out with him."

You couldn't take Keagan's words anymore. Shit-talking about other people is one thing, like how he complains about his teammates, but shit-talking someone you care deeply about is another

You grip the hot chocolate in your hand, and dunk it onto his white pullover.

"Ow! What the fuck is your problem, asshole?!"

He looks at you, bewildered and angry. "You can talk about your teammates, you can talk about the teachers, hell, you can even talk about me. But don't you ever talk shit about my best friend! It's over, I'm done."

"Whatever, you're gonna be on the news one day. MC: Gone Missing, and then you're going to think back to this conversation and regret not listening to me! I'm out of here. Clean my shirt when you get the chance."

Keagan takes off his pullover, and throws it harshly at you. It covers your face, and before you could give a retort, Keagan was up and out of there.
