Angelette put her hands up as much as the small space would allow her. She backed up as far as she could as well, but it... wasn't that much further.

"Sorry, Zooble, I'm tryin' here." She really was, she knew they liked their space, and she could kind of relate! "D'ya see a way out that I'm not?"

Angelette kindly did so, gently letting Zooble down on the floor, as well as herself, her feet making the softest little taps as they land.

"Don't even think about it Zooble." She waved, "I know we can't die from fall damage, but I still hurts." Given her own hobby, she was a bit experienced. "Now, where the f@#$ are we?"

Angelette groans looking over the course. Being a championship-winning gymnast, obstacle courses wouldn't have been that much of an issue... if Caine wasn't the one making them.

"Glad to see that the disappearing-reappearing blocks Caine ripped off from Mega Man 2 are still here." She practically spits. Those things were a nightmare for her as a child, and not much better when she'd replayed the game as an adult. "They're hard enough to deal with in 2D, let alone a 3D environment!"

"Right." The ribbony aerialist agreed, trying to do the same. "And I highly doubt that saying 'open sesame" will work." Though there was the tiniest part of her that hoped that it would, which is why she stopped and waited for a second.

Of course nothing happened, because literally why would anything be that easy?

"Ugh, this is stupid. Also, is it bad that I wanted that to work?"

Zooble wasn't the only one screaming- Angelette was completely caught off-guard, so she ended up joining Zooble in their frightened harmony.

"J&@#@ f@#$ing C#%@#* this is so dumb!!"

One could always tell when Angelette was actually mad- because her voice dropped an octave or two and her accent became thick enough to cut. As it was now. Not that it was particularly easy to spot in this instance, given Caine's censorship.

Angelette quickly wrapped one of her arms around Zooble as best as she could and grabbed on to whatever she could reach to stop the fall. Maybe Zooble was a bit excessively wrapped, but at least they wouldn't have any pieces come off when they suddenly stopped right?
