King Laios x succubus!reader who are both doomed by the (my) narrative™️ because: he is being pressured to find a wife to secure the future of the kingdom but he simply cannot help his fascination with the only (not so) monstrous creature that managed to bypass the Winged Lion's curse— a succubus who was shunned by her coven because of her lack of appeal and inability to seduce victims.

You swore that you weren't there to steal his life force, which easily convinces Laios to strike up a friendship with you (despite Marcille and Kabru's dissuasion). You visit him every night to converse with him about kingdom affairs. He doesn't ask questions about how you feed and maintain yourself since he considers it a private matter. You bond over his desire to see monsters again and your wish to form a more meaningful tie with humans.

The more time you spent together, the more you realised just how enticing his energy was to you, so you disappeared— not wanting your growing desires to pose a threat to the only human who saw you as an equal, who saw you as a friend.

Many years pass but Laios never married, opting for the wisest men of the kingdom to select his successor among the most brilliant men of the land instead. He often wondered where you were and what you were doing. Some nights, you let your curiosity get the better of you and check in on him, and you feel somewhat relieved that he shared his bed with no one else.

One night, he caught you leaving through his window and cornered you. He asked you where you've been and what you've been up to, and even commented about how your beauty hasn't changed even after all those years. You remarked on how handsome he still is even though he is already an old man. He finally asked you the most taboo thing of all: what did you feed on?

(You tell him the truth: You fed on the life force of living creatures— not enough to hurt them, though— rather than having intercourse with men. How could you bring yourself to harm humans after being friends with one?)

Laios was both pleased and relieved with your answer. He then offered you to take his remaining life force, eventually admitting that he wanted to offer it to you long ago but was afraid you'd rebuff him or be offended. You granted him a night of blissful dreams but not enough to bring him to his grave and vanished from his life for good— in fear you might kill him from loving him too much.

Hey, could I have more HIWTHI content please? Possibly with them finding out reader would write in their journal a lot, possibly hinting towards reader having large amounts of self worth issues, and instead of them leaving because no one notices them, reader left because they feel like a burden?

Marcus feels like a complete and utter failure as a father. No matter how cold or stern he is with his children, he does love all of them with everything in him. So the fact that you feel like a burden? That you felt like a waste of space in your own home? He hangs his head in shame.

Doesn't even bother with asking why you didn't speak up, he's well aware that this is his own shortcoming. It's his fault, that's the simple truth of the matter.

Once you are back home, you're required to start therapy. He'll even let you do in person instead of online if you promise to actually give it a shot, Marcus legitimately wants (needs) you to get better. He has no delusions of their being an overnight change, and so he tries to go at your pace.

There's lots of long conversations, firm reminders that you are loved and of value no matter what. Especially at night, he'll sit at the end of your bed and tell you how much you mean to him. He'd go on until he's blue in the face if that's what it takes for you to believe his words.

Clara refuses to believe what she's read for a long while. She knows it's real, she has the proof held in her hands. Just... her child, her baby, was struggling with almost the same thing she was. And she didn't know. She didn't know and now they're gone.

If she wasn't worried about reader before, she's actually terrified now. The worst outcome is going through her mind, because really, what was stopping you from doing something dangerous? Clara is constantly eyeing the news, fear eating her alive.

The next time she sees you, you're getting the tightest hug. The woman sobbing into your shoulder, thanking whatever higher being that her baby is safe.

You aren't allowed to have sharp objects, unportioned medication, or anything that could be used to harm one's self anymore. Clara doesn't care, she's not leaving a chance. She knows what it's like being in that state of mind. She'll be dammed if she doesn't start acting like a mother should and protecting her child.

Jack is bawling his eyes out right away. The pen ink in your diary smudging as his tears hit the paper. You...oh god..

He feels like the shitiest person on earth, he doesn't deserve to call himself an older brother. He knew Jaiden had his struggles, and now this..

He pockets the journal. Jack reads it as some form of punishment. You suffered with this, he'll suffer with it too. When you're back home, he's trying his best to include you in everything.

Movie nights, board games, he comes up with anything and everything so you can spend time together. See? He has fun with you, he likes hanging out with you, you aren't a burden..

Theo feels bitter, resentful. At your parents, at themselves, at the fact that you felt that way. His resolve to find you becomes ten times stronger, there isn't a single doubt in their mind that you need to come home.

Much like Marcus, they'll affirm how much you're loved and wanted any chance they get. Theo cages you in their arms and mumbles praises for what feels like forever. They'll even go into morbid detail about how everyone fell apart while you were gone just to prove how needed you are.

Jaiden is tempted to rip the pages out. He goes through a rollercoaster of emotions.

At first, he's pissed. That you didn't say anything, that you didn't do anything to get help, that you just sat there and felt fucking miserable for years-

He's ashamed. Deeply, deeply ashamed.

It feels.. awkward between you. Jaiden stares constantly, like he's never seen you before. When he finally breaks down sobbing, he's willing to beg at your feet if you'd forgive him for being such a horrible big brother

Cool cool cool cool cool please excuse me as I vividly think about Professor Sato keeping bunny (Ollie) around all these years. A deeply beloved toy that Kenji found comfort in as a child, and how he goes on to gift it to Emi. Thus allowing Kenji to, in turn, share the comfort he felt back then with his own daughter, now, when she needs it most.

How Kenji harmonizes with his dad and bunny in singing Bingo to Emi (how singing is such an important expression of love in Lost Ollie)

How Emi comes to adore bunny so much she first goes back to grab him on the beach before showing him to her daddy because she couldn’t leave bunny behind. He was too important to her, even when things were getting scary, to leave him behind.

And thinking about Ollie going through the worst to make it back. Being in such an awful state, but still so loved, he’s cleaned up and fixed to then get passed down and share the love he brought.

this is my previous post about him (a lot of the initial ideas are changed/scrapped now) and in a nutshell:

yuuyu (he/they) is my twst tinkerbell oc and who is one of the first batch of ramshackle members

he's not yuu/mc, he is just called “yuuyu” (which is just a nickname so not his real name)

Fun Fact: I get sick when I get too excited, so after this past week of fun in the sun and great shows, Only Boo! has pushed me over the edge, and now my tummy is in the throat and my heart is beating at an alarming pace, and it's all because I love these two soooo much!

It started with Blue Boy Kang wearing his Yellow/Orange Oddity's colors during their dates.

And hit a stride when the lights behind Moo where their colors when he was cooking for them.

So it made sense that Moo wanted to tell the entire world about his boyfriend as he wore Kang's blue hat with that little Kai Palo embroidery on it which was symbolic of Kang's love for Moo just a few episodes back.

Because no matter how much Kang wants Moo to stop telling everyone about them and giving away free food, he is just as much in love with Moo as Moo is with him.

I have a theory that red = passion in this show, so to see Moo play his song of love and devotion for Kang while both wore red was the first assault on my senses.

*heart racing*

If I wore a smartwatch, this would have been the moment it started beeping to alarm me that I was entering dangerous territory.

Then, the show hit me with the boys matching in GREEN (because a Blue Boy + Yellow/Orange Oddity = Two Green Peas in a Pod)

But this green business started on the rooftop during the date when the lights started changing from yellow and blue

TO GREEN WITH THE BLINDING LIGHT OF LOVE! (this is how a show gets a colors award!!!!!!)

But it's the little 🔥fire🔥 over Moo's heart that really did it for me (with the red behind him!).

Because Kang in his boyfriend era is the epitome of a Blue Boy in love as he is doles out all the touches

All the kisses

And all the affection to show Moo how much he loves him, especially because Kang plans to move to Bangkok to be with his boy after years of staying stuck in his grief.

Which is, once again, peak Blue Boy behavior since once Kang decided to give into his feelings, he was all in.

He is committed. He is dedicated. He is willing to keep their relationship a secret because he knows what is in his heart and doesn't need anyone else to confirm it.

So I'm thrilled to see them living together

And fully embracing their colors (and each other) next week.

Hopefully by then I'll be much calmer, @avorbl and @doublel27
