nancy is very petite and slender and has an athletic build due to being active on a regular basis. from like, 5-13 years old she took ballet, but eventually quit so she could spend more time focusing on school. she still likes to go for walks and jogs around her cul-de-sac and is always on her feet, so she's able to maintain her build.

HOWEVER, she knows that by being so toned, it leaves little room for softness so she'll get self-conscious at times- especially when her partner tries to cuddle her because what if she isn't comfy to snuggle against? what if she hurts them?

and she's probably had assholes at school make snide remarks about her body and how she "isn't curvy enough". so she always feels a little envious of girls who are more traditionally "feminine" in their body type bc she knows she'll never have that.

me thinking about how the d/uffers didn't write the w/heeler sibs as proper siblings and how i'll be ignoring that. shit pisses me off that none of them have ANY connection anymore, like wtf? as someone with several siblings, this shit don't sit right with me.

i see nancy and mike as the type to have a relationship where they might annoy the shit out of each other at times, but they would do anything for each other. still thinking about how they were supposed to grow closer after s1 and how the d/uffers just decided not to follow through with it. it's annoying. so no, i say that they still bicker and argue like siblings do, but they've grown closer.

i like the thought of them being able to talk to each other about anything (like they said they would do in s1) and defending each other and actually spending time together. THEY NEED TO HAVE BONDING MOMENTS LIKE JFC!!!!!!! also, nancy would kick the ass of ANYONE who fucks with mike or his friends- even if it embarrasses them. nancy is a protective person so let her protect her sibs, thank you!

in s4 she’s suffering from the long distance relationship (knowing she probably hasn’t had sex with anyone in like a year) and on the verge of being broken up with j/onathan bc he’s avoiding her. and then the sexual attraction she feels towards s/teve is so strong you could literally cut it with a fucking knife. (and no, i’m not discussing whether her flirting with s/teve while still ‘technically’ being with j/onathan is right or wrong (even tho j/onathan was literally slo-mo breaking up with her and not speaking to her but shhhhh) she is allowed to look respectfully at s/teve bc he’s hot and anyone with eyes can see it).

so no, no one can tell me that n/ancy is a “prude” and doesn’t like sex. she’s high strung, yes, but tell me she wouldn’t like using sex as a stress reliever. you can’t.

there’s nothing wrong with women liking sex. they don’t have to all “hate” it or w/e. anyway, tangent over dlfkja;sd.

everyone needs to know that nancy can't cook and her baking skills aren't much better. she can make you chicken nuggets or a cold cut sandwich but she has a tendency to over estimate cooking / baking times and/or she'll get distracted with something else and forget that she's cooking and the food will get burnt. she did not inherit her mother's cooking ability.

she can fix your leaky pipes or change lightbulbs or change the oil in your car but she can't cook to save her life- aside from like- super basic stuff.

she needs someone to cook for her because otherwise she'll survive off of sandwiches, ramen, and takeout lmao. college nancy is a feral creature who survives off of oodles of noodles and coffee lmao.

thinking about how nancy never says ‘ily’ first bc she’s scared to jinx any of her relationships and that they’ll wind up like her parents if she lets her walls down. she can say ‘ily’ if the other person says it first, but it’s like pulling teeth to get her to say it first pffff. they’d have to have a long heart-to-heart about it before nancy will ever feel comfortable being vulnerable enough to say it first.

in nancy’s defense, however- she’s an ‘acts of service’ type of lover, which means she shows her love through actions rather than words. so even if she doesn’t say ‘ily’ she shows it, for sure.

bc fr- nancy isn't a cold-hearted bitch who is incapable of emotions, contrary to the fandom's beliefs. she's very emotional and doesn't always know how to handle them or how to express them to others so she holds them inside and lets them loose when she gets a moment alone.

she's very strong-willed and is able to "fake it til she makes it" where her emotions are concerned. she's just been so used to having to suppress them because her family is so emotionally constipated, but she's also super loving and kind and caring and i feel like people forget that.
