You can’t tell me Jack don’t have a Carly doll on his pocket.

In the multiple shots of the apartment Carly and Jack are in eps 30-32 we see only one bedroom in which Jack resides in during his recovery. Considering we know Carly isn’t exactly making a lot of money, it’s very unlikely there is more than one bedroom in this apartment. No reason to have more either considering she is living alone. WHICH MEANS SHE GAVE UP HER BEDROOM FOR JACK. 

So, when we get to episode 32 where we see Jack sleeping on the couch, meaning he gave the bedroom to Carly! It think this is a subtle showing of Jack’s character development past the famous sunset talk in ep 31, because he could have easily just not moved out of there. I imagine Carly even insisted he could stay in there after he just moved out of there, but like the true gentlemen we know Jack is, he wouldn’t have it. 

Truly the man she chose ladies and gentlemen.

Carly’s determination when it came to her craft was admirable, even if not knowing when to quit has gotten her into a fair share of trouble in the past. Still, she wasn’t going to let this scoop go! 

“It’s an article for the local paper! Nothing mainstream, I swear! I-I’ll even buy you a coffee!”

let me guess, you're a chronic daydreamer? you probably grew up with a fantasy in your head of the perfect person and relationship falling into your lap. you like cheesy romcoms and romance novels and the idea of love at first sight is so nice to you, even if you don't believe in it. you care too much about what other people think of you and you just want someone to see you for you and love you despite that. you love people so fiercly and your love might sometimes go under appreciated. you probably also have a disney princess movie as one of your comfort movies, no surprise there.

“What made you get into this line of work?” (( Sherry @ Carly ! ))

The WRGP was fast approaching, and like the good reporter that she is, Carly decided to try and get the scoop on all the known participants. Most people knew about her relationship with Jack by this point, so she got turned down by a lot of them probably thinking she was sent to spy. Even if she wanted too, sharing secrets about other teams strategies is not something her boyfriend or the rest of Team 5D’s would want anyway. They did not exactly like to win by underhanded tactics like that.

Though, in all her searching, one duelist did agree to let Carly interview them. It was the only duelist in the tournament who was on a team of 2 instead of three, and someone who apparently Yusei had an encounter with. Oh, what a scoop this was gonna be! Though, what shocked the reporter was the question Sherry LeBlanc proposed, causing her to be caught off guard. After all, she was the one who was supposed to be asking the questions not here!

“Oh! W-Well...no one’s ever asked me that question, except Jack that is...” Carly starts, trying to regain her composure so she could answer correctly. “I’ve always liked taking pictures of people ever since I was a kid so, reporting just seemed natural! Plus, I like telling the stories of people who...don’t get a chance to be seen, and those who work hard to achieve their dreams like my darling Jack! W-Why do you ask, Miss LeBlanc?”

“Oh my gosh! Yuzu Hiiragi?! The duelist who was facing Sergey that crashed!? You’re....still alive!?” 

“Come on! I can’t just leave her here in this condition! We need to help her! Have a heart, Jack!”

“Wow...getting a closer look at her, she really does look like that missing girl from the Commons who disappeared a few months ago from your old orphanage, Jack...I told you that story was worthy enough to report on! Someone owes me a homemade King’s Bento box, and a sunset date!”

The disembodied voices rang in Yuzu’s head, her mind slowly returning to consciousness. What happened after the pain of crashing through that building was all a blur. All she remembers was the surging burning from the bruises and cuts that covered her body. However, Yuzu suddenly then feels the pain seeming to have...lessened? Sapphire blue hues slowly begin to open, pink locks flowing over her shoulders as a hand moves to her forehead. 

“Ugh...What...What happened...? Did someone...Did someone...help me?” She speaks openly. The Standard resident then takes notice of the room around her. It certainly reminded her of the hotel she had been locked into during the tournament, especially with a window looking over The City and the surrounding ocean, but this one was...different. The furnishings, the colors, and the entire feel of it felt...cozy. Expensive, but cozy. It didn’t feel cold or isolating. Just where in the world was she, and who saved her?

Well, soon enough she would have an answer, the door to the bedroom she was in opening to reveal two figures standing in the frame. One was a women with peculiar glasses, long flowing raven hair, and adorned in bright orange and blue hues with a double banded ring on her finger. The other...the other was a man with blonde hair, a tattoo across his right arm with a symbol she had never seen before, and a sleek black tank top on with jewelry adorning his neck, ears, and ring finger. 

“You’re awake, Miss Hiiragi! Oh thank goodness! We were starting to get a little worried for you there there! Hope you’re feeling better! I did my best to help bandage you up, with a little help from my man here! Isn’t that right, Jacky?” 

The woman smiled as bright as the setting sun after saying her words, her body shifting to wrap her two arms round the tattooed arm of the taller man and her head to rest on the arm as well. ‘Jacky’...Hearing that name seemed to speak a realization in Yuzu, her gaze shifting towards the blonde man. Seems like being injured, processing her situation, and the different attire had caused her to miss the identity of who the man standing in front of her was...

“W-W-Wait a second! You’re...You’re the Duel King...The Duel King Jack Atlas!!! You...You and this woman...saved me? B-But why? W-Wouldn’t you get in trouble with Security for saving a loser of the tournament who should be sent underground?”
