imagine being the old team manager for fukurodani—where you naturally ended up friendly with the nekoma and karasuno boys as well.

you stay in contact with some of them after graduation casually, mainly through social media. you congratulate kuroo when he gets a job with the jva. daichi sends you funny reels of dogs sometimes. bokuto even comes to your wedding—your husband went to fukurodani, too.

and then you get divorced and your life implodes without warning.

bokuto, kuroo, and daichi try and get together at least once a month for drinks. bokuto insists you come join them and have some fun—“we’ll be your wingmen!”

the wingmen part fails spectacularly—mainly because you’re in the middle of reliving old times and memories and crushes when bokuto, kuroo, and daichi end up admitting they all used to have it bad for you. and you’re not drunk but just buzzed enough to demand why the three of them let you date so many losers when you could have been “banging the captain of a volleyball team.”

“you could have been banging all of us,” kuroo grins playfully, taking a sip from his glass.

you choke and laugh. “at the same time?”

daichi shrugs at your bewilderment, a small smile on his lips.

“…could have?” you clarify.

bokuto rests his chin on his hand and smirks.
