actually yelling a lot uv by spiritbox is uvs song ofc but in universe its one that they sing sometimes in their rockstarness. like oh "u wanna cover me in uv?" and theyre an isekai thrown into uv's life/body(? not sure yet which?) n mistaken for uv (who is actually an alt universe version of themself). n basically some ppl want them to continue "being" or even know and just pretending to be uv. am i yellin coherently

uv details i have so far:

- ex-pro hero (as of abt 2mo prior to the very start of mha)

- was a casual song producer while heroing, but releases and wraps up a tour with his first album, then moves to japan (within the 10mo training montage w izuku) :⁠-}

- mysteriously broke off his engagement to his fiancé when he quit being a hero. very hush hush and all the public knows is that they had a falling out on i-island and the rest is "none of their fuckin' business" (UV quoted)

- powers are some kind of teleportation-time based thing. the public knows it as "shift" and originally this was misinterpreted (as well as their purple hair) as being related to the EM spectrum, hence the name

- UV can be very fast so sometimes it's not clear that he's actually been there/helped in a fight

- rumours have been all over the place that he's been active as a hero in japan since moving out there post tour but. well. that would be illegal! he's still a hero at heart! .... hehe }⁠:⁠‑⁠)

- has often been sighted with winged pro-hero hawks and the rabbit-hero mirko. recently got in the news for "accidentally" tripping up number-two hero endeavour at a publicity event
