11. What is Rook's favorite intimate non-sexual thing to do with their partner?

My first thought is wandering hands. I've established he's pretty touchy-feely, and perhaps that in itself is one of his many love languages, where he admires his partner's overall shape, warmth and softness/roughness. Laying in bed and cuddling and Lucanis knows Sihu hasn't fallen asleep yet because he feels fingertips dipping into every curve of his muscle structure/spine like he's trying to memorize each line. He'd never admit to it, but it helps ease Lucanis into sleep.

20. Have they ever had a threesome? If not, would they? With whom?

I'm a little hesitant to answer this one SOLELY for the fact I've seen quite a handful of anti-polyam sentiments from mutuals when it comes to Lucanis, or Davrin, but I'm ambiam and find polyships to be a natural part of my lore for many ocs. So there's my "don't come after me" schpeel LMAO Lucanis is not being neglected or abandoned, and Davrin isn't considered less valuable or "last choice". So please! Allow me to have some fun with my pixels.

I was just talking about this with @virusq actually, who encouraged me to consider some davrookanis after hearing me out on my hesitations, so thank you <3

I do think it would be a fun concept to explore Davrin in my Rookanis. I love him a lot and think his relationship with Rook is so very fulfilling, as well as the growth he shares with Lucanis. I think perhaps if given the chance, they'd all have some fun together and slowly bring Davrin in as their partner.

22. Have they ever been caught?

Oh my goddd could you imagine Lucanis being caught in the act of something so vulnerable. My immediate thought is to say probably not, they're fairly careful, Rook is often given his privacy and they're not fucking so frequently in places they may get caught where it could potentially become an issue. BUT SOLELY FOR LUCANIS' REACTION, I *want* to say yes. At least once. Maybe they got overly cocky, happened out of the blue and- oh. Whoops. Sorry Bellara. She'd get a spicy new chapter to add to her fanfic and Lucanis will *never* entertain the idea outside of their own home again LOL

This is long af, I will not at all be upset if no one wants to read it because I literally just word vomited every possible thought HFJKS

1. Does your Rook fall for their partner at first sight? If not, what moment made your Rook realize they're in love with them?

Perhaps not at first sight! I like to think Sihu's definitely met Lucanis prior to everything. I'd find it hard to believe that man was trying to flirt with Viago with daggers and *didn't* hear about it and know exactly who Viago was speaking about and met him at least once. It was polite company, Lucanis wasn't exactly a casual guest to have. But meeting him was a familiar face at the very least! Someone he knew even his own Talon would put all his faith in.

I think Sihu realized he was starting to catch feelings when the thought of spending time with Lucanis became a desire, his lips looked kissable and he'd find himself staring at Lucanis' hands wanting to grab them. It wasn't until the almost-kiss that Sihu realized he genuinely wanted to kiss Lucanis, and I think that was a point for the both of them to really figure out their own feelings.

Definitely not to say Sihu wasn't *interested* in Lucanis prior to catching feelings! But finding someone attractive vs. wanting to share affections with them are definitely two separate things in Sihu's mind that are not mutually exclusive to one another. The affection, for him, only begins when there's feelings involved. Especially for him being super handsy and enjoying skinship.

2. When does the partner realize that they're in love with Rook?

Much sooner than Sihu realized his own feelings, if you can believe it! I think Spite knew of them before even Lucanis did tbh, started calling it out which made Lucanis face those feelings a little sooner than he would have naturally. Sihu is patient and understanding and Lucanis finds himself seeking Sihu out and finding reasons to invite Sihu out on little missions and trying to find any reason he can to talk, to get Sihu to himself, etc.

After the almost-kiss, I think Lucanis went in for it not expecting Sihu to also be so receptive, which got him flustered and had him backpedaling hard. If Sihu was also interested, he wanted to do things right. 🥺 Even though Lucanis walked out and he expected Sihu to be upset (he wasn't!), the two find that they naturally gravitate towards one another.

15. What was the partner's reaction to Rook being imprisoned in the Fade? How did they cope? How did they react upon seeing Rook again?

WOOF okay so I have a lot of ideas that I haven't quite settled on just yet but I do have one big one on my mind I'll share. I think this is a big chance for bonding for Lucanis and Sihu's (still unnamed) daughter, because not only did the team lose their leader and friend, and Lucanis lost the man his heart beats for, but she lost her dad, too. His first instinct was to want to shut down completely, close in on himself and focus on the remainder of the contract. But this little toddler cannot fend for herself yet, she doesn't quite understand what's happening to the world around her, and she's confused why her dad isn't around and why no one seems to have an answer for her.

As much as he wanted to shut down and break down, he had to work through his own emotions and help her navigate hers, too, make sure she's taken care of. He wasn't sure what to tell her, if Sihu was dead or not, and how do you even tell a 6/7 year old that the only parent she has left is gone, now too? Emmrich had mentioned something about the potential that Sihu isn't *gone* gone, but there's work that needs to be done, research that needs to be had. And she seems to receive that information well- Dad's gone, but everyone is looking for him and they'll bring him home soon.

She was very brave! And Lucanis was very kind to her. She liked him prior, Sihu always spoke very highly of everyone on the team, and she befriended the others easily, but Lucanis was a higher familiarity to her from always being around him with her dad. A lot of Sihu's fondness towards Lucanis found its way over to his daughter too, and he quickly became her favorite. He took on the paternal obligations while they looked for Sihu, and it was easy for her to go to him when she wanted something or needed something. The crew help, of course! But she viewed Lucanis in a caretaker light sort of way even before Sihu's disappearance.

When they finally get Sihu back, I just know they were inconsolable. I joke about Sihu being a stage 10 clinger, but when he's back he's got two of those. This man will never be left alone again LOL He will always be grateful to Lucanis and the team for helping take care of the kiddo. And being able to watch his loved ones bond warms him to his core.

JUST A BASIC OUTLINE however, there's still a lot I'd like to circle back on and look at and toss some new ideas into and whatnot aaA It felt like a perfect little chance for the two of them to be closer without Sihu being directly involved with their interactions.

20. What song plays for the "ending credits" of your Rook's adventures?

I am SO glad you asked this one cuz that specific question being added to the list was 100% inspired by this song, this feels like an ending credits song to a high action movie and I felt it worked with his overall adventures vibe the most. Forever dealing with internal conflicts about being good enough of a leader, wishing someone else took the lead, if he made the right decision, knowing he needs to be more confident in his decisions, etc.

They probably have one for the sake of it being there, something to fall back on if there's ever any doubts! Would they actually need to use it? HMMMM.

Davrin and Sihu are rough together without many limitations, I think they'd get off on the potential dangers. Sihu and Lucanis communicate really well and don't take sex very seriously, so if they need to stop mid-way through for any reason really (and most likely have a *lot* of interruptions anyway because [little voice on the other side of the door] dad I frew'd up) then it's not much of an issue for them to say "hey hold up."

I can think of a handful of situations however where maybe someone isn't entirely all there, ptsd/bad anxiety episode, or something that really just takes over their mind during and they look to be a little distant/off in their own world. Maybe they don't use the safeword but the others don't feel confident that everything really is all good so they use it in their place. IN MY MINDS EYE I feel like it would be Davrin that does this for his boys if at all necessary. He reads as someone who is *really* mentally and emotionally in tune with his partners and his desire to protect takes over.

Thinking of maybe Sihu after all is said and done and he finally has time to process all the big feelings he had throughout the entire journey and not having the best coping mechanisms after shoving them in the back of his mind and ignoring them to move forward, those feelings may still linger and come out at the worst opportunities nods a lot

Would y'all believe me if I said I drew dicks going in places for a living and yet I'm sitting here trying my best to talk about Rookanis sex and it's ME that's getting flustered? The last time this happened to me was with Aymeric de Borel, and my Warrior of Light is the horniest man alive. Maybe it's not necessarily because he *shouldn't* be but rather that he isn't much interested in any sort of relationship with him, but Emmrich! Dude's charming, handsome and says some incredibly romantic things just in casual conversation. Sihu could admit that attraction but it's all that is, Emmrich's pretty to look at and pleasant to be around but anything more is solely a platonic enjoyment.

8. What's Rook's favorite thing their partner can do for them in bed (hair-pulling, pinned wrists, etc.)? Is there something they don't like at all?

Any time I give my characters massive tits, my immediate go-to is sensitive tiddies/nipples. Grab em, grope em, bite em, suck on em, give them a squeeze together and stick that dick between and Sihu is a happy camper :3c

None of my characters will ever be entirely against something their partner is into beyond my own personal limits. They love their partners and want them to get off too and is always happy to indulge.

Warm skinship! Even if it starts off innocently enough like when Sihu nuzzles his whole face into the crook of Lucanis' neck, but then it slowly turns into little smooches that turn into little bites that start to trail up Lucanis' neck to his jawline, then to his throat. Sihu isn't about to stop there, especially not when Lucanis' breathing starts to pick up. 😌 I like to think Qunari have some sharper teeth that could read closely as a blade against his throat and it really gets Lucanis going.

24. Are they loud or quiet together?

Sihu is definitely loud, and maybe Lucanis will get to that point. I like to think Lucanis feels he needs to be quiet but then has Mr. Moans In Your Ear all up in his business and feels a little less self-conscious about it as time goes on. But it's cute when he tries to hide his face away and cover his mouth to keep himself from being noisy 🥺
