Yanqing came to visit me today. I don't really know how I'm going to explain to Jing Yuan that our son managed to sneak out and get to Jarilo-VI not once but twice. Not only that but I did, in a way, encourage him to come and see me any time. Though I more meant without doing it in a way that would cause people to worry.

Still, I think that the people in the Overworld and Underworld alike enjoy having him when he visits. At least, the people I've seen him interact with and those I've spoken with myself. He really is like a ray of sunshine down here. Even if he isn't from Belobog, he's a nice reminder of what it is that we're working for. That future generations can have a sustainable planet. A beautiful one, even. And seeing him smile and try to help people on a world that isn't even his own, I think that people could more of that. That earnest sweetness that he has within him. Some people are just beacons of hope.

Some people remind you what the future holds. What's worth fighting for.

Even if he'll never say it out loud, I'm very glad to be one of his parents. He's growing into a fine young man. I hope that I can be there to see what he blossoms into. I want to be there for him no matter what. Through it all. Through everything.

That's a father does, isn't it?

"Good job, sweetheart! Y'er gettin' real good at that." Eros let out a soft hum as he brought Yanqing in for a hug. Pressing a gentle kiss to his forehead and then to the top of his head as well. He'd been trying to teach the boy how to help tend to the plants. Not something the Vidyadhara let just anybody do when it came to his little green house. But Yanqing was excitable and he enjoyed learning things that could be helpful down in the Underworld. And what was more helpful work from his mother than to teach him about the herbs they kept?

Something they find adorable about your muse: how excited he gets over swords or learning more about his 'father's' history and home planet. It's very cute seeing how his eyes can light up and how he can talk on and on about things

Would my muse sacrifice themselves for yours?: without a doubt that is his son, he'd do anything to keep him safe

Would my muse go on a date with yours?  platonic/romantic: are we counting taking ur son for ice cream as a platonic date??? i think that's just father/son time honestly

One word my muse would use to describe yours:  Loyal

Would my muse slap yours if they could?: not ever not once

Would my muse hug/kiss yours?: So many hugs and kisses for his baby, usually on top of the head or the cheek. He sneaks them in so as not to embarrass his son
